Absolutely the rudest people I've dealt with. Never have I spoken with someone that services the public and they been so very rude. Not sure how they stay in business. Furthermore, I field calls several times a day with people trying to contact them. The amount of calls I get for people complaining about their reckless driving and attitudeso, totally mind boggling. They have really gone down hill since the change in ownership.

I had a bad experience with Jack's Towing & Recovery Service. They work with a gas station owner and put boots on cars parked there. They charged me $1000 to remove the boot, and if you argue, they raise the price. Not cool.

scam..scam...scam...be ware...my driver was booted. we were charged $1,000 to remove the boot.. signs are not clearly marked or visible.. company memo going out.. we will never ever frequent this establishment again.

i dont think the owner is good at talkin to customers. he always seems mad and doesnt explain things good. i wouldnt call them again.

These guys are the worst. They got no respect for nobody. They want you to cough up a grand in cash at all kinds of weird times. And they're cussing out drivers whose trucks they've booted. It's like they're in cahoots with their clients to pull some kind of scam with the booting. Plus, the no parking signs are tiny and hard to see.

They put a boot on our truck that was parked without a trailer. They charged us a grand to take it off. The driver was pushy on the phone, saying the price would go up if we didn't hurry. We messed up by not seeing the sign, but these guys are bullies and just trying to make a quick buck.

Jacks towing was amazing tonight. They really helped me out when I needed it. I was so grateful for the driver who went out of his way to make sure I was safe and sound. My insurance said I wasn't covered for mileage, but Jacks towing said I was and they brought me and my car home. I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs help. I called Jack's Towing today to get info on how to get my bro-in-law's car. The dude who answered was rude and yelled at me when I asked how to get it. He said my bro-in-law's ID was no good (but it is) and needed the car's papers. Bro-in-law gave him the papers but still couldn't get the car. This guy is a racist and doesn't care about people. He's a scammer trying to make a quick buck.

This company is so bad, my son had my car and it got towed for "illegle parking" so my son only had his debit card and $100 he told the guy that he would pay him $100 but he wasn't trying to hear that (tow truck driver) and if he was smart enough he could have had $100 in his pocket. Fast forward so the tow truck driver got smart and said he has to pay $300 right now and if I take it to the shop it's going to be more..so me as a parent I call the towing company and the guy said for you to get your car back it's going to be $560 and I went to *** and he said you need to come since you're the owner of the car I was like man I just had surgery on yesterday and I can't come out he still insisted that I came so that was a real struggle for me to get there. To rap it up this company needs to get investigated or shutdown because they are true crooks I'm a firm believer the more you take the more you loose! If it was an option for no stars I would do it and the 2 white guys that works there apparently don't have a voice of their own because the owner is something else and they just go with the floor...they have horrible reviews everywhere I did my research. But it is definitely ok because they are going to tow the wrong person car one day and it will be over!

Don't ever use Jack's Towing & Recovery Service! They are the worst! I can't believe they have ComplaintsBoard.com on their card. The police called them to tow our F250 after an accident at Linwood Blvd. & Garrison Blvd. intersection in Gastonia, NC on Tues 4/14 at 4:40pm. They yanked our truck from the back bed onto the Rollback while it was parked, not in neutral. We told them it was in park, but they didn't listen. The truck's busted tire left skid marks on the street. We were worried they would damage our 4x4, tires, or drive train. They even damaged the back tailgate trim cap. We had to drive over an hour the next day to show our registration to release the truck to our insurance company for repairs. Their office was a mess with cats and a guy eating banana pudding. They charged us $400 for less than 24 hours of storage, even though they claim it's $150 per day. They won't admit to any of the damage they caused. They shouldn't be in business and shouldn't be associated with ComplaintsBoard.com. Don't use Jack's Towing & Recovery Service!

Towed my car even having my cars information saying that I was a resident at the apt complex

I even called my property manager and showed them my lease they charged me 175 but charged other people 150 how is that possible to charge different prices. And I went there calm explaining everything to them they literally looked at me like “idc I just want your money” they didnt try to work with me they were very very rude and acted like they didnt want to help me find my car its too many complaints about this company regarding the same issues close them down.!

This company fined my wife 300 dollars for parking wrong and booted her car until she paid. They didn't follow the rules in the sign and the law. It's illegal to fine on the spot like that. They can tow and charge fees, but not fine. It's like extortion.

I went to get my car that was towed, and the hours online said it was open 24 hours. I went at around 7 at night and the gate was open, so I pulled in to see where to go. A guy came at me all mad and said the hours were 9-5. I said sorry and told him the hours online said 24 hours. He walked closer to me and said I should come back 9-5. So I left and came back the next day around 12. I gave the lady inside my license and went to get my registration from the car. He was outside looking at me, so I asked if there was a problem. A car alarm went off, so I couldn't hear him, and I just walked back to my car to get the registration. He came after me all mad and told me to leave and that he was calling the police. I asked what the problem was, but he only said my mouth. I left the property and waited for the police because he wouldn't give me back my license.
