Online International Transfer
International transfer online of $714.00 US Dollars made from my account UK Barclays to my brother in USA-on 11 January. Brother holds an account with Liberty Bank, CT, gave me beneficiary details to process the payment which needed to be made via J P Morgan Chase Bank. Processing the payment used the final beneficiary details and not the details for JP Morgan Chase Bank. Funds have not been applied to brother’s Liberty account.
Barclays Bank set up a recall case under reference QMS220120-001032 on 20 January. They had response from intermediary bank - Bank of America, to confirm JP Morgan Chase bank had credited funds to an active account and account holder had not given debit authority to send the funds back to Barclays and further to me.
Rang your Customer Services to try and speak to someone or get an email address to resolve this case which everyone moves on to another bank. Told as I did not have a JP Morgan Chase account no one was available. In trying to explain the problem over the phone and referencing the QMS number above, she obviously felt she couldn’t or wouldn’t assist me, she hung up the phone.
Desired outcome: Return of my $714 into my Barclays Bank Account
Fraud department
I noticed two transactions that went through my account the week of 02.14.22 and reported both of them to the fraud department on 02.17.22. They reversed the charges and provided me with a temporary credit. However, in early March they reversed these credits and when I called to check the status of the claim I had filed was told that I needed to file a police report to further support the claim to have it approved. I filed a police report and sent the fraud department a copy. I hadn't heard back on the matter in over a month, so I called today to again check the status to be told that the claim was closed and they would not be covering the fraudulent charges even with the police report. So I have followed all protocols and provided valid documentation to no avail. I have been banking with Chase since 2011, have several accounts with them, including a Amazon Prime credit card, and I have NEVER had this type of issue with their customer service. Why put my money in a bank that's not helping to protect it?
Desired outcome: I'd like for the $488.51 for the two transactions to be refunded to me.
Wire transfer
Hi on April 15th,2022 I went to Chase bank of Encino, CA. Wire 300K to Capital Bank in Panama. Still due to the mistake of the banker money has not been received.
I made a travel to Panama to buy a property over there based on wire that I made and supposed to be ready in my account on April 25th. I lot my deal and spend few thousand dollars travel expense. Still the money is up in the air Panama's bank did not recieive any fund and my money is not with chase anymore. I have been going to the branch almost every day to follow up. Very reluctant to help... finally they made an amendment but still nothing happens.
Desired outcome: Having my money back to my account in Panama or Chase bank in USA and paying for all my loss.

Hello, to whom may concern, My name is Demareis Butler, and I have been with Chase Bank for almost three months now. My account was in Good standing. the only issue I had was over drafting. I receive a call from the loan place saying that I was approved for 5,000. If you check my account I always take out loans every week, the loan name was cashusa.net. I did not know they were going to close my account, in not return my money.
Claims department
I am a customer of chase and have been for many years,. Recently there were some fraudelent activities in both my checking and savings accounts. I have reported it to chase and they closed both accounts and opened new ones. I have been dealing with highly incompetent claims department now for over a month, who either is not doing anything or has some major comprehension problems! Just aweful experience! From endless wait time to speak to a live human, to being placed on hold forever, to being hung up on, to not being called back, to not resolving my problem, to poor attitude etc the list goes on and on!
Chase's claims takes no responsibility whatsoever... They hire highly incompetent staff and hold no accountability! This is such a dissappointment!
Desired outcome: Resolution to my 2 claims currently being worked on as a result of fraud to my accounts!!!! Refund of my money!!!!

Chase Closed Business and Personal Accounts no notice
Thursday 4/14/22 I had Chase Bank restrict/close my account after nearly 2 years of having my business and personal account with them. We have never had any chargebacks, fraudulent charges or any issues with our account to date. We have been growing exponentially as a small business over the last year and a half and had a very successful last month after doing our first Home Show after Covid shutdown.
As of yesterday morning I was able to use my accounts and function my business as normal. By yesterday afternoon at 4 PM I was no longer able to conduct transactions in my account, deposit funds into my business into my accounts with no email or internal account notifications. I immediately contacted Chase and was referred to call the department handling the restriction. I was then told that Chase would be ending their relationship with me and would give me no explanation. I have had four accounts 2 savings and 2 checking accounts between personal and business and I am being told that they will not provide me any access to my funds. I was told they do not care that I have business to conduct they have completely ceased the ability for me to maintain my business nor can I pay my bills have food in my house I have zero access to my money.
I went to the bank today to get a cashiers check so I could put funds into my new bank account at a different bank and was told that they will not provide me any of my money and they will mail me my $25,000 in a check in the next two weeks which may take up to three weeks to get to me. So apparently I’m supposed to live with no money no ability to run my business and no financial means to support my family for the next three weeks.
This is unethical and Beyond my comprehension that I could be a good standing legitimate business owner and have Chase Bank have the ability to stop the functioning of my business for no apparent reason and no answers. How can hold my money hostage for several weeks and not allow me to have access to my money to survive or run my business is unconstitutional.
Desired outcome: I want the funds to my personal and business money immediately. I need to operate my business and feed my family.
Chase Fraud
Hello,
I got an alert email from Chase on March 3rd to confirm a purchase. I called and told them that It was not me. The agent got all of my information, asked me to lock the card, and said to me that he would take care of the fraud transactions. Also, he told me that I should receive a new card.
I waited until I received my new card in early April. However, I realized the transactions were still in my account. So I called Chase and explained the situation again. The agent again told me that they did not remove the transactions because they needed more information about my old card, but I never received any phone calls or emails from them. Finally, she got the additional information and told me I should receive a mail or call in 5 Business days.
After seven business days, I called them again. They told me that they should review it again. Finally, after three days, I got a mail that the transaction was valid and I should pay for it.
Here are my concerns:
1- What should I do now? It was around $850.
2- I responded to Chase's email that it was NOT me at the purchase. So why did they approve the purchase? With other cards, if I disapprove a transaction, they don't complete the transaction.
3- I have the card in my hand, and I have witnesses that I was in my office at the time of purchase. Moreover, I have never been to the stores where fraud happened before.
I would appreciate any help.
Chase agents are very rude, and it is challenging to understand what they say when they speak over the phone.
Desired outcome: Remove Fraud Transactions
Chase closed my account and never submitted my check with my funds remained
After trying in every way to get my money back from Chase, I decided to post this complaint so that no one else does business with this bank. I lost nights sleep waiting for my money, I can't pay my rent anymore, my landlord kicked me out of my apartment because of my money that is stuck in that bank and they don't even give me back under torture. If there is no justice in this country, I will have to take my measures, because you don't know how these people take something from you and don't return it to you. This is just ridiculous, it's been more than a month since I've been trying to get my money back after this bank arbitrarily closed my account. Not even me, being the victim of a fraudulent action and explaining my problem to them, they didn't get sensitized, this is a theft and they will pay for it.
Building at 3680 Broadway Gary, In 46408
I am a resident in the area of bank. I spoke to someone in customer service over a week ago on the phone. The bank has been closed for about 2 weeks. I assume that there is no electricity because it is totally dark on the outside there. I think maybe they have a generator over on the outside that has been so disturbing that now it has become noise pollution. To constantly hear this noise 24-7 has been so irritating especially at night. And to not know where the noise was coming from at first was almost scary. Help stop the Noise. We tried to be patient and bear with it thinking it would be resolved sooner than later but NO ONE is doing anything about it to stop it or fix the problem for the sake of the nearby residents or customers. Please stop the noise. Whatever the problem is fix it or condemn the building. We are really trying to be patient thinking its gonna be taken care of but now it seems like NEGLECT with no consideration of those who live around it.
Desired outcome: stop the Noise. Would like to know what you are going to do about it.
Mortgage Escrow Account
I do not escrow my real estate taxes, I’ve been paying them directly for approximately 8 years. I have never missed or been late with a mortgage payment or a real estate tax payment. I pay my mortgage through direct withdrawal from my checking account. My credit history is stellar. I received an email from Chase on 2/20/22 stating that Chase had performed an escrow review and that my monthly payment would be increasing from $1,628.96 to $2,739.11 per month. I logged into my account and found Chase had paid my real estate taxes for two quarters and was charging me for that plus estimating my taxes for the rest of the year. I called Chase and spoke to a rep who said Chase received a notice from the my town that said I was delinquent. When I asked for a copy of the notice, she said it was public record. I uploaded three years of proof of tax payments to the Chase website. I again asked for a copy of anything Chase used to decide I was delinquent on my taxes. I went to the Town Treasurer's office on Monday, 2/25/22. The clerk told me that this issue was happening to a lot of residents. She gave me a copy of my payments showing that my account is overpaid by $3,800. I uploaded that to the Chase site also and again asked for their process of declaring me delinquent on my real estate taxes. I’ve been told that my request is being escalated. Yesterday, 3/16/22, I received a letter from Chase stating they received my proof of payments, but they did not meet Chase's requirements as acceptable proof of payment. I think that this fraud perpetrated by Chase using escrow collection as a cash grab.
Desired outcome: I want Chase to straighten this out with my town treasurer and show me documentation of how I was flagged for delinquent taxes.
Telephone banking representatives, online banking, treatment of my problems and my issues remain unresolved
My name is Colette M.H. Simone, I am a JP Morgan private client and my banker is Enri Sosunov. I visit the branch they tell me to call helpline and dmy online accesss will be resolved when i call they tell me they cannot verify me, for months i have complained about the fraudulent credit card and ATM card that are on my name, I do not have any cards please. Stop this, CANCEL THEM. There is no pin either, the people did not even help me to set up my secret phone password incase i a, hacked again.. Chase has not helpecxd me even a little instead only caused more problams and helped frauders take my money i am afraid now i am complled towards taking actions legally/.
Desired outcome: I would like the cards closed, my on;ine access restored and some safety steos to be set on my account WITH my inbolvement
Chase Credit Card
The current balance on my card is incorrect, I had made a couple of off cycle payments and it does not appear they were applied to my account. The difference is by 3000.00 dollars...no small change. But when talking to customer service they continue to say it is correct even though I have given them proof that it is not! I have contacted my lawyer to see what can be done, but after this is resolved I will be closing the account and telling family and business partners to stay far far away from Chase.
Desired outcome: Correct my balance and credit my account for any interest.
Accounting practices
BEWARE -- Chase apparently cannot handle off cycle payments. I did two large purchases on my card, sent payment off cycle. Apparently these payments were not applied to my account and they are saying that I owe 3500 that I had already sent in to Chase. I have a case number with them, but given the customer service experience I had via secure messages, they are trying to CYA. The apparently do not know how to do basic math. I am hoping that I do not have to get a lawyer involved in this situation, but I will because they are not going to get away with this type of FRAUD.
This was my primary card, but it will go in the drawer and not be used.
Beware of your purchases when using Chase Credit Card -- keep track and review frequently!
Desired outcome: Credit the amount that has been paid and fix my balance. Any interest accrued should be credited back, this was their mistake.
I want my refund of $500.00
In August of 2021, I attempted to file a partial release of land from your mortgage company. After long and tedious frustration from your Land Transactions Dept. Along with being threatened that you would pull my mortgage, I was forced to refinance with another bank. After writing and complaining I was contacted by Laura Lambert, Executive Office Senior Specialist from [protected] ext. [protected]. She looked into my complaint and through a voice mail from her on February 3, 2022, she informed me I will be receiving a refund check of $500.00 for appraisal dollars I submitted that was not done. She told me I would receive the check within 10 days. As of this date, I have not received the refund. I have tried to contact her by phone and left messages. She will not return my call.

Fraud
On april 2021 my account was hacked 1000.00 transffred through zelle another 100 through zelle to 2 diffrent people and aperently my account was used at a ride aid twice for 214.00 when I called to dispute my case, they refunded my money a couple of days later after they closed my account and gave me a new one the same amount of money came out... Why would they give me back my money then take it away again... When I went to the bank to speak to a manager he told me that the money was sent through zelle to a person in new york for rent... Like I dont have family there I live in colodado then they said there was an address for the bronx ny ive never even been to ny so after they fixed my correct information they told me they cant do anything about my money all they said was to file a complaint through the police so I did and after I did my statement through the aurora police dep all I got in the mail was a case paper stating that my case has been placed "inactive" status because there are no documents like really its all in my bank statements... After all that I never got my money back... Its rediculous how you should feel like your money is safe and stuff like this happens like its your fault and at the end you end up being scrwed at the end...

Chase auto loan
On January 15 I made my auto loan payment as usual. The payment was authorized on January 15th. The due date is January 17th. However, January 17th was a holiday (Martin Luther King Day) and Chase did not attempt to collect the charge until January 18th. They made one attempt, and they could not complete the transfer due to unavailable funds. The holiday also caused another delay in a deposit, which occurred only hours after Chase attempted to charge the account.
I called Chase and was assured that there was a 10-day grace period, and it was requested that I make the payment again towards February; it would be applied to January and there would be no late charge. This payment was made January 18th, and the transaction was completed January 21st.
Today, February 15th, I paid my bill, WITH A $20 LATE FEE APPLIED.
Desired outcome: I would like the late fee reversed and applied to my principal balance. I would like any derogatory remarks applied to my credit report to be removed immediately. I would like a written apology.
Bill Pay Fraud Claim
On 10/5/2021 I used the Chase Bill Pay feature to send $3,900 to my landlord, Joshua Gold at Greenacre Mgmt. When I reached out to him to confirm the payment, he said he hadn't.
I looked at the confirmation notice on chase.com and it showed a copy of the cashed check. The endorsement did not match the person who should have received the check. It should have been cashed by Greenacre Mgmtat Signature Bank. Instead, it was cashed by someone called 11 Crooke Ave at Regions Bank. This person/entity was not associated with Greenacre Mgmt.
On 12/72021 I filed a claim and was immediately granted a temporary credit of $3,900.
On 1/7/2022 I received an email saying that the investigation had concluded and that since they had sent the check according to my instructions, they had determined that they were not responsible for the error and would be subsequently debiting my account $3,900 on 1/14/2022.
When I called the Chase claims department to protest this, they said that the reason they'd closed the investigation and debited the money was "insufficient information." When I asked what this meant they said that they had sent an affidavit to me to fill out. When I told them that I had received no such affidavit, they told me that they would send it again, but they could not give me the $3,900 back because the investigation was already closed and they would need to wait for the outcome of a Regions Bank investigation that would take 60-90 days before they could give me the $3,900 back *if* they were able to give it back at all.
I filled out the affidavit and sent it back to Chase on 1/17/2022.
On 2/14/2022 I called to confirm that the affidavit had been received. They said it had not been received.
I feel helpless, I just want the money that was stolen from me by this fraudster returned to my account.
Desired outcome: I would like the $3,900 returned to my account
Credit cards
I have several accounts with chase. I called the local chase branch and talked to them because I got an offer to get an installment loan from my other bank Dort federal. I would use the the loan to pay several of the balances on my cards and I would leave the cards open to show that my utilization was low and therefore increase my credit score. I did not have trouble making my payments and had always been on time usually paying more than the minimum due. Chase said yes that is a great ideas and even agreed that my plan of keeping the cards open and not going over 35 percent utilization was good with my available credit being 6700 for one card and 2500 for the other. This made sense and I took out the loan. Dort wrote a cashiers check to chase for each account and I went straight to chase and paid the balance. The teller said my funds eve available immediately and it took over a week to show my new available credit. I thought great this was a good ideas. I made a few purchases the next week and then I get a notice that they lowered my available credit on both of my cards to what I now owe. I thought this has to be a mistake. I call and nope they pulled credit and decided to lower my available credit due to my score and high balances. I had just paid off a bunch of debt and they knew what I was doing. Not once did they say anything. They brought my score down by about 80 points. This caused a chain effect and citi followed suit. I had not even one late payment. I did not have to do the loan. They have lowered my score to lower than my friends that do not pay their payments. I am in the mortgage industry and about to get certified to do fha loans which may not happen because they pull credit first and my score is awful. I may lose my job. Please help before I lose everything and cannot even support my family.
Desired outcome: I want my available credit back where it was and for them to fix my score. I need to keep my job.
