Refund of full amount
My daughter ordered over 30 euros of food using this service. The delivery person did not go into the hotel or take the food to our room and I guess just left it outside? I contacted the service and they said they tried to reach my daughter but she did not include the international calling code with her number. We contacted customer service immediately after waiting on the food and not receiving it and they have refused to provide a refund, despite their terms of service saying they will make "reasonable attempts" to deliver the food. The delivery person did not go in the hotel. The door was open. There was no need for them to contact us if the person had simply done the job we paid him for. And customer service was completely rude and unhelpful and doesn't read the complaints.

I ordered food from your website on 2nd April 2023 however my order never arrived and just eat have advised they cannot do anything in line with there terms and conditions and will not give me a proper answer.
I am shocked about the customer service I am receiving it is shocking and disappointing.

I tried to order food on 1-04-23, went through the process, got to the basket and tried to pay, kept saying processing and nothing else, this happened 4 times and I eventually gave up now I have checked my online banking and 4 payments have gone out of my account which I am not happy about. The payments were for:

I know I tried different takeaways in Congleton Cheshire, they were Cheeky Chicken, Valleys and I think Portabello, I tried these because of the orders weren’t going through at all.
I have checked my previous orders but all these 4 times isn’t even on there proving I never had any food and if you check with the restaurants they should confirm this.
I am so very unhappy, what was meant to be a treat has financially broke me and I’m at risk now of being overdrawn in my bank. Please can you sort this.

I have a family of 7 children rangine 19 to 8yrs old. I put in a large order 14-03-2023 when it arrived the chips was cold and then I discovered 1x 20 nuggets missing, along with 2x complete meals of grand big mac. I complained to Just Eat who say my request for a refund is decline. I have asked to escalate this as this is disgusting when they litterally taken food from my children and taken my money for no reason. I paid out in tiotal £55.80 when I should have been refunded 21.87 for my missing items plus compemsated for freezing cold chips. This isnt the first order they have messed up. I will never use them again after this experiance nor will my son who orders regularly. This was from Orpington high st macdonalds kent

The order was 2 hrs late from Seacrest fish and chip bar and this isn't the first time so the owner of the shop said that he would give me a full refund as it had taken so long , I reported it to 'just eat' and they said you can have £13 and the order was over £30 . All they keep saying is we have closed the complaint. The best part is they haven't even paid me the pathetic amount, again !

Food ordered at 12:10pm, and it was delivered at 13:30pm. Food was cold, so contacted just eat. Poor customer service, as only refunded less than half of the money that was spent.
The receipt from the order shows the order was completed at 12:26pm yet arrived an hour later. This restaurant is 15 minutes away. I continously asked them why the driver seemed to have disappeared for an hour, and why were they not concerned that their employee was not doing their job.
I'm actually less concerned with the money and more concerned that the driver just seems to have been driving around doing god knows what for an hour while my food was sitting there getting cold.
This took place on 24th Feb, 2023.
1.5 hours late and food inedible
On Sunday evening, we ordered an Ice Cream order from Sweet Haven, Tranent. It was due to arrive between 9.20-9.30pm but by 9.45 it hadn't arrived and I have 3 kids who were looking forward to it and getting tired! I tried to call the shop but there was no answer. I requested an update via the app and got a text saying it was coming at 10.30pm! It got to 10.40pm and it finally arrived but the ice cream was all melted and runny (like hot milk) and the cookie dough with strawberries was all splatted together and we couldn't get it off the paper in the box. The whole order was inedible and we had to bin it!
I have requested a full refund but it got declined. My husband went to the shop in person to speak to the manager who was rather rude and said it was down to Just Eat to refund and out of their control, which is why I have contacted you. The order was for £31 and an absolute waste of money and time. We are regular customers of Just Eat and order at least once a week from the app, so I feel we deserve to be treated fairly.

Funds taken out of my 16 year old daughters bank account following cancelling order
My daughter ordered her food to the wrong branch of Burger Box in High Wycombe instead of Chesham on her Just Eat app. She then bought her meal physically in Burger Box in Chesham in person.

Just Eat have refused to refund the £13.10 that was taken out of her bank account following confirmation of the cancellation from Just Eat.

I ordered a takeaway on 4/2/23 It arrived 45 mins late. Contacted the takeaway and just eat to complain on the same day. I requested a refund from just eat because my food arrived and it was freezing cold my chapptis where stiff so had to be thrown and the rest had to be re - heated in the microwave (defeates the point of getting a takeaway) I provided just eat proof of the call times etc as I noticed the restaurant put they delivered at 20:35 that was a lie because the driver called my phone at 20:52 looking for Francesca street. No street exists he arrived 10mins after the call. Just eat resounded to my complaint on the 5/2/23 stating that they can’t refund my £15 takeaway buy can instead offer me £4.20 credit in-line with their cold food policy. I requested a copy of this policy under the freedom of information act and so far my requests have been ignored. 7/2/23 I received a Twitter DM advising that they are sorry and want to issue me with a full refund and as a gwg to keep the £4.20 credit. But I don’t want that I just want my refund. On the 8/2/23 I get another email refusing my refund… as a company back tracking is a dirty thing to do so I’ve reported this to trading standards and I’ll also be seeking legal advice in regards to legalities of this internal policy and the fact it’s not in your T T&C’s or anywhere on your website. I think consumers need to be aware of this policy so they can make a better choice before ordering via just eat incase their expensive food order is wrong and their given credit by some guy behind a pc can just make up Any random figure that’s not even HALF the price of your orginal order or what the customer even asks for!
Just Eat Delivery
I ordered a grocery delivery via Just Eat, from a local retailer, I work from home, so its more convienient for me. I had a call about an hour after placing the order from someone who sounded Polish to say he would be there soon and to look out for his car, why I dont know, as previous orders had been delivered to my door, so I stood by my window and waited, and waited and waited, no sign of a car outside my property.
I tried to call the number that the call had come from, no answer, I texted, no reply, so I then called the retailer One Stop, who informed me that the driver had said he'd waited outside my property for half an hour, which was a total lie, and he'd returned my order to them.
I'm now in a battle with Just Eat who are refusing to refund me of over £24, this is disgusting, I'm not going to pay for an order that I didnt recieve, but I will not let this lie, I'll take this to their CEO if needbe

Just Eat App
on 3/12/2022 I ordered food via the Just Food app. at 18.33 According to the app the ETA for delivery was 19.05 so I went and had a quick shower. I got out of the shower at 18.58 and the Just Eat app still stated 19.05 as ETA for my food. When the food order hadnt arrived I called the shop. They said that they arrived at 18.50 and because there was no answer at the door (I was in the shower) they contacted Just Eat who said that they would call me. After waiting for Just Eat to get back to him, the delivery driver return to the shop.
I received no such call from Just Eat. In order to obtain my food order I was forced to pay a further £2.50 to the delivery driver.
I have tried to contact Just Eat customer services several times. The e-mail address given isnt monitored so there is no way of contacting Just Eat to make a complaint directly.

Shumi Tandoori restaurant
Hello,
My partner and I ordered an Indian takeaway from Shumi Tandoori in Medway. The order arrived fine and the food tasted fine. However, I noticed a couple of pieces of chicken were really hard/rigid to bite into. Approximately eaten at 6pm.
Fast forward to 3am/4am both my partner and I were up in the night with stomach cramps, shivering and feeling nauseous. I have not stopped being sick all morning. I am throwing up green bile and can't even keep water down. My partner has suffered from diarrhea and cramps.
Due to this, my partner was due to go into work but obviously cannot and has lost a day of wages. My mother has also had to cancel her plans to come and look after our toddler as we are so unwell.
Desired outcome: I would like a refund for the meal purchased as it has cost us so much by not only being so ill but missing out on paid work.

Order from brownies fast food on just eat I forgot to add item in the deal bundle I was getting so I cancelled writhing about 4 mins of order and replaced order but was charge £18.50 and never received a refund so I rang the takeaway company (brownies fast food) they said they didn’t start preparing my first order and have not took any payments from myself or just eat so I complained to just eat and they said in an email that I would not receive my refund as I didn’t cancel order with in the right amount of time and this is to protect the restaurant for when they prepare food but I spoke to the takeaway and the didn’t start preparing it so I email saying u could understand you taking delivery charge for setting off for food but I couldn’t understand why you have taken all my money knowing people are struggling as it is so basically I’m being charged for nothing just because they can it’s disgusting the service is awful can never get hold on phone says it has online chat but I can never find it anywhere the emails I have from them took atleast a week never ever going to use this service again

indulge desserts preston refund scam
on the 10th of october i made an order from indulge desserts preston and the order was paidf for and delivered. i was then charged a second time on the 8th of november for the same order with the same number ([protected] GB) and checking my emails it looks like they tried to give me a refund that i didnt request but they instead took the money out. i can produce my bank statements and emails as proof.
Desired outcome: i would like the money back and and some reprimand if this was not an accident

We originally complained to McDonalds who stated that we would need to contact yourself., on the 30th Oct an order was placed . the collect number was 73521 12:46:44 hrs received around 15:15 pm., when delivered the person took the drink from under the seat of the modped and this was obviously crushed and half empty, which in turn made the package of food wet and also after such a long wait the food was cold...

I ordered at 19.11. From macdonalds, Cambridge road, Middlesbrough.
My order was incomplete, there was a Oreo McClure and a large milkshake missing.
I called the restaurant and they said it was not there fault, they said it was the delivery drivers fault and said that I had probably been given the wrong order. They told me there as nothing they could do.

So I reordered these items for my grandchildren, which then cost me a further delivery charge, and the charge of the items Again. I also left more to check items are correct, before sending order.
I am beyond furious to this as it happens every time I order from them, either McDonalds are not getting the orders correct, or someone is sterling items from the bag before delivery.
To can check through all of my orders, I order most every week, there has been something missing from each order for at least 3 months worth of orders now, and I'm not just gonna write it off as a couple of ice creams anymore.
I will also discontinue using just eat if there is not something done about this immediately, I expect a full refund.
