Cool food/undelivered food/missing food
I made an order on just eat on holiday down south, we got someone else’s order and it was cold. Tried to complain through the app and they gave us £5 voucher (apparently?). No refund for missing food.
Ordered last week, food didn’t turn up, driver “delivering” an hour. Came stone cold. Sent it back. £5 voucher for cold food? Erm? £40 refund pls?!
Desired outcome: Just want a refund of the food that couldn’t be eaten. I don’t want compensation I’ll be deleting my account and never using them again. I want my money back for food we didn’t/couldn’t eat! It’s legalised theft!
Food arrived in an unsealed bag, freezing cold and missing several items
My food eventually arrived from kfc I could see the driver sitting in car park for around 10-15 minutes before leaving.
Food arrived it was in an unsealed bag, was missing 3 mini fillets and the side from the meals and it was absolutely freezing cold and had to be binned.
Requested a refund and just eat decided that I could have £6 refund for an order of £23.44 - considering that I could see the driver on the map sitting so long and then food arrives in an unsealed bag - suggests the drivers are helping themselves.
I have went back to just eat they ignored most emails however came back and said £6 was correct and I wont be getting any further refund so stop emailing which is ridiculous how many people would give food to children when it looks like some random driver has had his hands in it or even when it is stone cold
I ended up having to then spend more money to order an other meal of course avoiding just eat
The attitude of the line manager in email was also disgraceful

This is not the first time the company has made me beg for MY money back.
This is the final straw though!
I used an apology voucher to try shopping for groceries on just eat yesterday (ironic…).
Up to 5 items (over £5) didn’t turn up - no acknowledgement, no refund, no customer contact number, no live chat function, all phone numbers go round in circles. Sent 4 emails now - no response.
All I want is my money back. Just eat used to have a live chat function but appears instead of sorting their vendors issues, they’ve shifted the burden of cost on to the consumer. I can’t call them or talk to a human. Just endless emails begging for MY money back.
How can this possibly be resolved? Seems just way just want to take customers money and not give them a leg to stand on when thy want the money back.
7 days for a reply to an email, which I had to hunt to find the address for, and longer for a refund to my account is unacceptable. There should be an instant service for those who have had vendors take their money with no intention of supplying the products.
Just eat need to reinstate their complaints avenues and start putting customers Money first. If vendors are taking money and not issuing refunds or acknowledgments of missing items, why is the burden of cost on me in a major cost of living crisis?!

I ordered 3 items from Mcdonalds, 2 quarter pounders and an apple pie. It took over 1 hour to be delivered through Just eat. It arrived stone cold; the cooking time stickers had been removed. It was all inedible. The burgers were also hard as a result of them being cooked over an hour before. I asked just eat for a refund. I was then told that the burgers looked good in the box (do not know how they knew this) as they did not, the usual thrown together. For that reason, I was refused a refund and was told £5 would be credited to my account. I complained the food was stone cold and inedible and that I should not pay to get food poisoning and the service received was unacceptable. Told, it looked good in the box nothing we can do NO REFUND.
I closed my Just eat account as a result.
To refuse a refund on stale cold food is appalling.
Waiting over an hour for inedible food to be delivered stale and cold. Having then to find an alternative and have to pay for that. This 1 order on just eat was a disgrace. Customer service very bad.

I placed an order at about 530ish for a Mac cheese bite and caramel sundae . It’s said it would come about [protected] it was nearly 3 hours waiting . I rang them up and they said another 10 -20 min and then it came an hour later it was freezing cold the Mac cheese balls and the milkshake was all watery . I was so upset I put in a request for a refund and they said they declined it. I was so upset this a lot of money to spend on something I didn’t eat and was freezing cold . food delivered soaked with coke and very salty chips unsafe to eat
order arrived 11 minutes late from JUST EAT . than the drivers says the coke lids were open so the food got soaked and as he was new he couldnt find the addrese .when contacted , they said they cant collect the soaked food so they offered £5 compensation in stead of full refund . i said the food is unsafe to eat . still i requested manager to contact me . instead team leader named karen came back and said she cant get me credits nor refund and she is gonna close the case . it is against the food industry policy to deliver soaked and cold food to customers . and i clearly said to karen she should know better than any one else . im still waiting for the manager to get back to me . another agent emailed saying karen was the manager . when karen emailed me she clearly said she is the team leader .all bunch of liars and also robbers . taking money from customers and trying to offer compensations that also not even close to the amount spend .all i asked for full refund for the food i order which was delivered cold soaked and salty .at the end we end up cooking food .even though we got home late from holidays thinking that we gonna take it easy that night . but it was a night mare experience from JUST EAT UK

My just eat account was hacked and fraudulent order was made. Just eat will not refund. It is there responsibility because it is their online platform that has been compromised. I have reported to trading standards, actionfraud, just eat and my bank. Appalling customer service from just eat. Suffice to say account deleteed and will never use again.
Unauthorized credit card charges
17/8/22
2 charges to my bank account from the just eat app, 1 for £30.00 and the other for £38.50. Managed to login and delete card details before anymore went through.
The first order says collected but I managed to kick the hacker out with a password change before the other order could be marked collected.
After looking at reviews for the restaurant its clear this has happened to many before me, and that the establishment isn't real. The phone number is disconnected and the address is for another legitimate restaurant.
Desired outcome: Please Refund.
Seemingly resolved.
1. login change your password.
2. delete your card details from Just Eat/
3. phone your bank tell them what happened & explain to the fraud department.
The fraud squad seemed confident of getting my money back.

I place an order and the restaurant cancelled it. The money was taken from my account on 03/08/22 and I still haven't received my refund. I spoke to customer services yesterday who said they had processed my refund and I would receive it within 20 minutes and I still haven't. My bank states they have nothing to process for me. Now I am being asked if I am sure the money has been taken out of my account. YES I AM! I have even offered a copy of my bank statement to show I haven't received anything back. I am not happy about waiting this long for a refund.
Desired outcome: I want my money back for an order that was cancelled by the restaurant.

Just the same happened to me. Two orders, which do not even appear on my Just Eat history (only on my bank account).
I could not find a proper way to contact Just Eat to ask for a refund, so I have just written to a generic email address of theirs. Hopefully they will answer.
The bank told me that it's them who have to refund me, since I have given them my card details (an error I will not make again).
Of course, I have blocked my card and will never use Just Eat again.
Desired outcome: I want to be refunded, the fraudsters spent over £100 on Just Eat.
Stone cold food on arrival
On August 8th we ordered Mcdonalds through Just eat. Once the driver had left the restaurant with our order we tracked him on the map and he was going everywhere but the direction of our house. Stopping at some locations for a few minutes at a time. When he eventually arrived to us our food was stone cold and the only thing we could have was our drinks. The food went in the bin as it was so cold. I contacted just eat and i have been backwards and forwards with emails getting absolutely know here. There response each time was we have put a £5 credit on your account! I explained all the meals were ruined which came to £29. Just eat 'customer service' were unhelpful and said if i reply anymore it will be ignored as £5 is all they can give! I asked how is that the case when the driver was clearly not coming straight to my address which led to £29 worth of food wasted. No answer, just ignored that question.

it happened to me as well on the 24th couple of days ago .they delivered my food 11 minutes late than the driver said sorry about that the coke lids were opened and the food got soaked . and also he said they have problems delivery food . and as he was new he couldnt find my address. when contacted just eat all they say is £5 compensation . i explained that the food cannot be eaten . i requested manager to call me back in stead team leader called Karen comes up and says she can do nothing based on my case . and another staff said she can give only £5 and nothing else . i paid £15 plus and the whole food went in the bin . still waiting for the manager to call me back . they claim that decision if final . still waiting to hear from the manager . its like day light robbery.

Unauthorised order on my account. Managed to cancel it as soon as I realised but it said 100% charge and money not returned. Unable to contact just eat. I have filled in there online forms but no idea how long until they reply. Been on hold to my bank for 1 and half hours so far to the fraud team to try and get it refunded. The order was placed from what looks like a nan existant restaurant when I googled the address the restaurant is actually a different name

My matchday double bucket arrived far too early. Chicken pieces were cold and socked in grease. Chicken wings were cold and very dry and too crispy. I've have messaged just eats several times for a full refund back for the matchday double bucket. But they are refusing to refund me. I have know asked just eats for a freshly cooked matchday double bucket. I am not letting matter drop. I should be able to get my refund back.without having to keep messaging just eats to get my refund back.

At 24/072022 at 17:45,I ordered large fries and chilli cheese balls from burger king. The delivery man was driving a black Toyota. When he arrived, he parked just outside the housing state. I told him constantly to drive to the house don't park outside the housing state. Plus it was raining outside and i ran a km to get the food from him outside the housing state. He was difficult to understand as he was Eastern European and completely defensive. I told him that he should have drove to the house. But he was defensive and said that he was lazy and tired.

Yesterday on the 8th of July 2022 around 20:00 pm i was supposed to receive my delivery, i did track the meal but it didn't arrive it kept on saying 10 min away till it got canceled. I have had 2 paymenets taken out of my bank account neither of which are mine. Both totally £80 and different location in the UK. This is theft and fraud and needs to be dealt with.
Desired outcome: Money stolen should be repaid and the persons in question should have charges pressed aganist them. They can be easily traced.
KFC order destroyed and items missing
Ordered kfc 12/06/2022 and despite it coming early and despite me paying nearly £41 beforehand, all the sides (2 x large gravy & 1 x large beans), were open and spilt all over the remaining food. Paid for 2 large chips and didnt receive either. Only got half my order and the other half was open and leaked all over the bag. Not happy at all I want my money back. Full refund as I had to bin the remaining food anyway.
Desired outcome: I want a full refund, the food that i did receive i had to bin as they were all saturated in gravy and beans, something we couldnt eat. Paid £40 for NOTHING
On the 18th June 2022, I ordered a meal from Cheryl’s Sushi in Bournemouth from JustEat, I paid 25.06 via PayPal which was charged immediately by JustEat.
They then cancelled the order stating they were unable to deliver it.
I asked for a refund by email which was ignored, I then contacted PayPal for a refund who say they are still waiting for a response from JustEat.
This company is scamming customers as can be seen in the 91% similar bad reviews on TrustPilot.

Pretending to refund and keeping the money
I have been promised several partial refunds over the past few months and never received any of them. I have repeatedly contacted just eat where they lie and pretend they have refunded me and my bank is the issue but having had extensive talks with my bank we can clearly see no attempt has ever been made to refund me over the past few months.
These are all the promised refunds including a fake order which never happened. Below is the standard lie just eat keeps writing.
