Just Host Just Host's Terrible Customer Service and Unfair Charges

I gotta say, I was pretty bummed out with the customer service over at Just Host. I mean, I had been getting charged for their service for a whopping 2 years, and I hadn't even been using it! Can you believe that? And to top it all off, they had my credit card all set up for some kind of auto renewal. So, I get charged in January for a whole year, and I don't even find out until February 8th when I see it on my credit card bill.

So, I reach out to them and ask for a refund, since I hadn't even touched their service in over 2 years. And what do they do? They tell me that they'll charge me for January, but then refund me for the other 11 months. Like, what kind of solution is that? They could clearly see that my domain had been hosted somewhere else for the past 2 years, but they still wanted to charge me for something I wasn't even using.

Honestly, their customer service was just plain terrible. I don't think I'll be using their service again anytime soon.

Just Host Just Host: Disappointing Experience with Malware and Customer Service

So, we had a bit of a problem with our website and Just Host was supposed to help us out. But things didn't go as planned. We got hit with some malware and Just Host immediately tried to sell us on their internal security team. They told us that our website had viruses and that we needed their help to fix it.

But then we ran into some issues with getting into Just Host. We kept getting a "bad gateway" error due to Cloudflare. The security team told us to contact Just Host to have the Cloudflare removed, but when we called Just Host, they told us to contact the security team. It was a frustrating back-and-forth that wasted a lot of our time.

And to make matters worse, our website is still down and we're locked out by Just Host. It's like they're holding us hostage! We can't access our own website and we're at the mercy of Just Host. It's not a good feeling.

It's especially frustrating because we know that Just Host is trying to generate business by scaring people with the threat of hackers. But if they can't even help us with a simple malware issue, how can we trust them to protect us from hackers?

Overall, we're really disappointed with our experience with Just Host. We feel like they let us down and we're not sure we can trust them in the future.

Just Host Just Host Review: A Nightmare Experience with Scam Charges and Chinese Adult Spam

So, like, a few years back, I had this thing with Just Host, right? I was chatting with someone on their support and I was all like, "Yo, I wanna cancel this service." And they were like, "Sorry, bro, we can't refund you, but we can cancel it for you." And I was like, "Okay, cool, my bad." But then, the next year, I go to my old site and it's all Chinese adult spam! Like, what the heck, man? I told them I cancelled and they were all like, "Sorry, bro, we can't refund you, but we can cancel it for you." And I was like, "Seriously, dude?"

And then, this year, they charged me AGAIN! Like, are you kidding me? And they were all like, "Sorry, bro, we can't refund you, but we can cancel your account." Like, what kind of scam company is this? I wouldn't touch them with a ten-foot pole, man. I had to go to my bank and close my PayPal just to make sure they couldn't charge me anymore. It was a total nightmare, dude.

So, yeah, I would definitely avoid Just Host at all costs. They're just not worth the hassle, you know? There are way better hosting companies out there that won't try to scam you like these guys. So, yeah, just steer clear of Just Host, my dudes.

Just Host JustHost: Unreliable and Caves to Threats - Avoid at All Costs

This website and the hosting service it provides are just plain ridiculous. They went ahead and shut down a perfectly good website, http://thejiannareport.com, just because they gave in to some threats from other people. The admins of the jiannareport.com website were not doing anything wrong, they had simply set up a database which is not illegal. And to make matters worse, it wasn't even against the TOS of JustHost, but they still used it as an excuse to suspend the site.

If you're thinking about using JustHost, you really need to think twice about whether or not they will cave in every time someone threatens them. They need to stand up for civil liberties and not just give in to anyone who makes a fuss.

Overall, my experience with this site has been terrible and I would not recommend anyone sign up for webhosting with them. Their performance is just plain bad and they don't seem to care about their customers at all. So if you're looking for a reliable webhosting service, I suggest you look elsewhere.

Just Host Just Host Review: Unethical Billing Practices and Subpar Services

I decided to give Just Host a try by setting up a test domain to see what their features and services were like. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. In fact, it was downright horrible. I was so disappointed that I decided to let my domain expire and move on to another provider.

However, my troubles with Just Host didn't end there. A year after my domain had expired, they started trying to bill me for services I never signed up for. To make matters worse, they attempted to charge my credit card six times in a single day. Thankfully, my bank was able to catch the fraudulent activity and put a stop to it.

Despite my efforts to resolve the issue, Just Host continued to try and bill my card multiple times a day, every day. They also bombarded me with countless emails, demanding that I pay for services I never received. To make matters worse, they claimed that I had signed up for auto-renewal, which was not true.

I tried to reach out to Just Host through email, but all of my messages bounced back. I then turned to their live chat support, where a lady assured me that she would put an end to the constant billing attempts and emails. However, a week later, the problem persisted.

At this point, I had had enough. I reported Just Host to the fraud division of one of my banks and vowed never to do business with them again. In my opinion, they are nothing but crooks and scammers who should be avoided at all costs.

In conclusion, my experience with Just Host was a complete disaster. Their services were subpar, and their billing practices were unethical and fraudulent. I would strongly advise anyone considering using their services to look elsewhere.

Just Host JustHost.com Review: Misleading Refund Policy and Confusing Setup Features

I decided to give JustHost.com a try after seeing their advertisement for Free Instant Set-Up and NO HIDDEN FEES. I was excited to get started on my website and spent three days trying to navigate their setup features. Unfortunately, I found it difficult to make sense of their system and was unable to add any services to my site.

After four days of frustration, I decided to cancel my agreement with JustHost.com. To my surprise, they charged my account a total of $61.54 on the same day. I was confused and frustrated, especially since they advertise a "Cancel Anytime" policy.

I reached out to their customer service team and was told that I needed to have the original Welcome Letter in order to start the refund process. Luckily, I keep all my important documents and was able to provide them with the necessary information. However, I was shocked to see that they had charged me for a "Faster Server". Why would I need a faster server when I couldn't even build a website?

To make matters worse, JustHost.com deducted "NON-REFUNDABLE fees" from my refund, leaving me with only $7.95. I was extremely disappointed and felt like I had been ripped off.

In conclusion, I would advise anyone considering JustHost.com to stay away. Their setup features are confusing and their refund policy is misleading. I learned my lesson and will be looking for a different hosting provider for my website.

Just Host JustHost Review: Terrible Customer Service and Frequent Downtime

I was with JustHost for like three years and I was hoping things would get better, but it only got worse. I couldn't backup my site for some reason and their customer service was terrible. They always said everything was fine, but clearly it wasn't.

My site was down for hours at least once a month and it took forever to get in touch with someone from tech support. By the time they answered, my site was already back up. How convenient is that?

The last straw was when AT&T blocked the server I shared. JustHost didn't give me any information or indication that they were trying to work things out. Apparently, this happens a lot and innocent customers are affected because JustHost just doesn't care.

I can't believe I stayed with them for so long. If you have a website, go with another host if you rely on the site for your business or income. JustHost has only gotten worse over the years and I wouldn't expect any improvement.

Just Host Just Host Review: Terrible Customer Service and Website Issues

I had a really bad experience with Just Host. It was a real pain in the neck to get my website up and running properly. I had to contact their customer service multiple times over the course of a week just to get my website to display properly. It was really frustrating!

To make matters worse, I received a message saying that my account had been automatically renewed, only to receive another message a short time later saying that it had expired. I immediately responded to the message, but they didn't seem to care about ensuring that my service was working properly.

At first, my web mail wasn't working at all. I had to have some really difficult chats with their customer service team just to get it restored. They kept blaming the domain registrar for the problem, but I knew that wasn't the issue.

Then, my website suddenly reverted to an earlier version. This was really strange, because Just Host had been hosting my website for a while and it had been working perfectly up until that point. The staff at Just Host kept insisting that Weebly was responsible for the problem, but I had a hard time getting in touch with them to confirm this. When I finally did get in touch with Weebly, they told me that they needed to repoint to their servers. I passed this information along to Just Host, but they refused to act on it.

In the end, I just gave up and cancelled my account. I don't see any reason to continue using their service after the terrible experience I had. Their customer service is really poor and they don't seem to care about ensuring that their customers are happy.

Just Host JustHost.com Review: Terrible Live Support and Misleading Refund Policy

So, I recently signed up for an account with justhost.com and I have to say, the signup process was pretty easy and inviting. I added a few features to my account and was excited to get started. However, my excitement quickly turned to disappointment when I checked out their live support the next day. It was just absolutely awful, I haven't experienced something so unprofessional in a long time.

I tried switching to different representatives, hoping to get a better experience, but my luck didn't change. The second representative was even worse than the first and the third wasn't helpful either. All I was asking were simple questions, like "can you confirm the server version my account is running on" or "I have signed up for a dedicated IP, why do I have to upgrade in the cpanel when clicking dedicated IP, when I already paid for it at signup" and other questions.

But the biggest issue I had was when I asked about their cancellation policy. They told me they would refund the full amount, except $20 if I wanted to keep my domain. So, I decided to request a refund and move on from my bad experience with their live support. However, when I received my refund, I was shocked to see that they only refunded me roughly 50% of my 1 year prepaid expenses.

To make matters worse, all the added features I paid for were NOT refunded, even though live support had told me they would refund everything. During the cancellation process, they even offered me a ton of free stuff to keep me on, but I knew they would probably charge me big time after the first year.

Overall, my experience with justhost.com was horrible and I consider them to be a scam par excellence. They really have it down to look great at first and then F%#$& you over big time. I would not recommend them to anyone and suggest you look elsewhere for your hosting needs.

Just Host Just Host's Poor Service Damages Our Small Business: Website and Emails Down for Over a Week

Just Host has been a real pain in the neck for our small business. We've had two major issues with them in the past year and both times our website was down for over a week and our emails were suspended for over a week in one instance. This has had a really damaging effect on our business and we're not happy about it.

The first issue we had was when our emails were suspended. This was caused because the domain server was transferred to another entity and Microsoft couldn't read it anymore. We called Just Host on Monday and they said it would take 24-48 hours to resolve. After waiting for this period, we found out that they sent a verification email to an account that hasn't been active in 5 years. We didn't realize this until the waiting period was up. We verified the account on Wednesday and were told it would be another 24-48 hours until the domain was propagated with the correct information. On Friday, we were told that the propagation process was never started and there was no note of any issue in our file beyond updating the out of date email address. We've been waiting for another 24 hours for an update and we're not sure if the issue will be resolved. We've been left in the dark and we're not happy about it. We haven't been able to receive any email at all in nearly 7 days.

The second issue we had was when our website was suspended due to a "malware" attack. Just Host told us that we either had to "clean" the "malware" ourselves or pay an additional $15/month for Sitelock service to clean and restore the website. We're not IT people and we couldn't clean the malware ourselves. Our IT department couldn't do it either. We find it hard to believe that Just Host couldn't or wouldn't clean or protect the files for our domain hosted on THEIR domain service. We think they infected our files with malware so that we would have to buy the Sitelock service!

We're really unhappy with Just Host and if they weren't holding our website and email accounts hostage at the moment, we would switch domain providers. They're unhelpful, uncommunicative and this process has taken 3x longer than they originally told us on Monday due to issues not being properly documented and communicated on our ticket number. They also refuse to provide us any way of contacting the escalated support team and we're left to wait and pray that they might send us an email with an update. We're not happy about it at all.

Just Host Justhost

Justhost is removing their drag and drop website tool Builder and not replacing it with a new option. WordPress is their only option unless you consider Weebly an option. I have gotten the run around for the last month and finally today they said it is not an option to use anymore. I have created about 10 websites using builder and was happy with the results but now I am worried that I will have to recreate all of those websites in a new tool. If they do not come up with viable option I may have to move my account to another service provider.

Just Host Account restoration taking over a week

Extremely poor service, escalations take days and responses from escalations can take weeks, they are extremely slow, we have a reseller account and we can't get hold of the right team, we have 3 clients suffering masses of losses and have threaten to take us to court due to backup and sites being with justhost.

Just keep getting responses when we chase that its been looked into and someone will revert. Close 9 days now with no websites and emails. :(

Just Host Just Host Deleted Me Without Warning - Not Worth the Risk

So, I signed up for Just Host and paid for my hosting. Everything seemed to be going well at first, but then, out of nowhere, they completely deleted me from their system. I was so disappointed! I mean, what kind of hosting company just deletes their customers like that? And to make matters worse, I couldn't get hold of anyone to help me out. I tried calling, emailing, and even messaging them on social media, but no luck. It was like they had disappeared off the face of the earth.

I don't know what happened, but I do know that I won't be using Just Host again. It's just not worth the risk of losing all my data and not being able to get any help. I mean, what if I had a really important website or business that relied on my hosting? I would be completely screwed.

Overall, I would not recommend Just Host to anyone. They may seem like a good deal at first, but if they can just delete you from their system without warning or explanation, then what's the point? Save yourself the headache and go with a more reliable hosting company.

Just Host Just Host Review: Promises Broken, Prices Jacked Up, and Poor User Experience

I gotta say, my experience with Just Host was not the best. They make all these promises about refunds and low prices, but when it comes down to it, they don't deliver. I bought a bunch of stuff from them that I ended up not needing, and when I asked for a refund, they said no way. What a ripoff!

And don't even get me started on their prices. They lure you in with these super low rates, but then after the first day, they jack them up like crazy. It's like they're trying to trick you or something. And when you try to cancel, it's like pulling teeth. They make it so hard to get out of your contract, it's ridiculous.

Plus, their website is not as user-friendly as they make it out to be. I had a hard time figuring out how to do things, and I'm pretty tech-savvy. I can only imagine how frustrating it would be for someone who's not as experienced with computers.

Overall, I would not recommend Just Host. They're just not worth the hassle.

I recently had an experience with Just Host and I have to say, it was not a good one. I was hoping to find a reliable web hosting service, but unfortunately, Just Host did not meet my expectations. I gotta say, Just Host is one of the worst hosting sites I've ever used. I've been hosting my website with them for a few years now, and let me tell you, their uptime stats are just plain sad. And don't even get me started on their customer service - it's like they don't even care about fixing any issues you might have.

Just Host Just Host Review: Avoid at All Costs - Illegal Handling of Private Information

Just Host is a web hosting site that I would not recommend. They seem to be doing some illegal things with your private information. Once you pay for their services, they will take all your private data, including your ID information and photos, and save it on their own server. This is a big red flag, and you should be careful when dealing with them.

It doesn't matter if you pay with PayPal or not, they will still get your money, block your account, and take your photo, ID, and other information. This is a huge risk because hackers can easily get their hands on this information. I think it's highly illegal, and they should not be doing this.

In my opinion, Just Host is a really bad web host. You should watch out and avoid them at all costs. They are not trustworthy, and you don't want to risk your private information falling into the wrong hands. PayPal has its own security measures, and Just Host should not be taking your private information. Stay away from them!

Just Host JustHost Review: Shady Business Practices and False Malware Claims - Stay Away!

JustHost used to be the bomb, but now they're just a hot mess. I've never dealt with a more shady company in my life. I had to bounce and transfer all my stuff to a new host. They straight up shut my site down and said it was infected with malware. But when they sent me a list of the infected files, there was no malware to be found. Then they tried to sell me sitelock for a whopping $500 per domain. Like, what the heck? And don't even get me started on how they raise your prices without any warning. And they'll add services and charge you without even asking. It's like they're trying to scam you or something. I wouldn't recommend JustHost to my worst enemy. Stay far, far away.

Just Host Support gave me incorrect information

I've been with Just Host for over 10 years, but in March 2023 when I was due for renewing, I called in to find out if I could cancel my website (I'm retired and thought it prudent to cancel my website) but keep my e-mail and the tech guy I spoke with said "sure you can do that". It turned out not to be true because when he took my website down, the e-mail came down with it. I called the next day to find out what could be done and another guy told me you can't have one without the other. However, it has cost me dearly: $135 for a computer consultant who couldn’t get me a new e-mail address, $100 from another computer guy, a new cell phone with text for $75 (to confirm my "new" e-mail address) and $70 for some new software for my desktop (my version wouldn't accept a new e-mail address). WOW - this has been really expensive for me (especially on a fixed income) and wasn't even my error.

Now I'm notifying companies, banks, government, doctor's offices, etc., of the new e-mail address. Everyday I handle a few but it is so time consuming. I'm very disappointed in your service after so many years of being loyal to you. My e-mail address with you was "[protected]@onthewritepath.biz".

Desired outcome: I'd appreciate an apology AND a refund for at least 1/2 of the total amount I've spent that wasn't necessary in the first place. I was 30 days without an e-mail at all. It has been awful. New e-mail: [protected]@outlook.com

Just Host Domain Redirection/ Customer care

Trying to have someone replying to me for one month with no success.

This company holds domains and don't let do a redirection if you don't pay a (costly) hosting service apparently.

I have been their client for at least 10 years with no issue whatsoever. Now it's a plain nightmare.

I have 3K+ followers, I will advise them not to work with Just host.

Desired outcome: I would appreciate to be able to proceed the redirection or to get my domain transferred

Just Host Server migrations

I have been using JustHost to host my training website for over 6 years with no issues.

Over the weekend of 20th June, they had a server migration which has resulted in updated PHP (coding) version. This has made my website totally unusable with customers unable to log in and complete their training. I am furious that JustHost didn't even notify me of this and I now have to spend thousands of pounds with developers to rectify the issue.

I have requested that they roll back the update, but they tell me this isn't possible.

Just Host customer service knowledge and lies

I have an issue transferring accross un-used service from e-host to just host as part of the merger.

Something that should be very common.

I have been trying to get this resovled now for over 5 days.

Each time I am in conversations with someone I get a different story and lies.
They can provide no complaints procedure.

1 minute my issue is with a technical team when i ask for an update even through its not a technical issue the next they dont actually have access to look at my case to tell me whats hapepning with it.

Just Host hosting

HORRIBLE CARELESS SERVICE

My website was down on peak business hour and I contacted just host to help me fixed what it seemed to be a hacker attack.

I got first answered by Eddie which, seeing that the website was hacked and was down, simply said "Oh, I know you are having this issue but I noticed you don't have our website protection thing, do you want to buy it? In the meantime, I'll transfer to someone else"

Then another person answered me and instead of tackling the issue right away to make the website work again and avoid me losing more clients, she sent a token number to my email and told me to tell me what the token was (even though she saw that the website was down and my request was to fix it, not to have access to any secure part of my account...which means if I would be in a flight, none of my employees that don't have access to my email wouldn't be able to solve this issue and would have to wait until I had internet access again)

The worst of all is that as soon as the problem was over I check my email as it is part of my work and what do I find?

An email from Eddie TRYING TO SELL ME their protection services.

Eddie didn't wait for my problem to be solve before sending the email. No no, the email was sent WHILE MY WEBSITE WAS DOWN.

Eddie didn't ask if the issue was sold. Why ask that? that doesn't make them money.

I WILL RECOMMEND EVERYONE TO STAY AWAY FROM JUSTHOST.

If you are thinking about getting hosting with JustHost, STAY AWAY.

If you type "best hosting providers" and ignore the ads, you should find people making lists of the best hosting providers and you'll see JustHost is not even there. I'd recommend you going with any of them.

Just Host changing of name servers

I have tried multiple times to change the name servers on your website to a different provider and it doesn't work. Ih've been through your customer services a number of times and they have been useless. Either hanging up, saying it is done and not doing it or simply not getting back. My other website is up for renewal. If you cannot sort out the changes for www.skagensommerhus.com I will not be renewing and making complaints and negative reviews is as many places as necessary to ensure I get the correct customer service. It is a simple nameserver change... Just get it done!
It is for change of name servers to ns107. Ehosts.com and ns108. Ehosts.com, for www.skagensommerhus.com

Just Host customer services rep

Your customer service rep has been terrible at handling my call today and left me in a very upset state after the worst phone experience i've had to any business. I have had trouble contacting justhost for three weeks via facebook, phone, email or live chat. its cost me a fortune in phonecalls even his one was a waste of more money i have lost and loss of earnings and i desperately need your service teams help today and was treated like my struggle was amusing to him or a joke. I do feel he was also lying to me if you hear the phonecall that has been recorded please. he said the password was wrong 8 times i said and he was still putting it in wrong not listening, then muting my call and not answering me for long delays frequently. then having me say the email on my account three times to get verifcation sent to it, and he said the five accounts i gave him were not right.
so i had to log in myself whilst he was on the phone and he kept saying sorry cant verify you so im cutting the call. when i was saying he just has to wait a second whilst i log in because the email i believed was on my account he told me wasnt working. after i was rushed (and 'paying' to be rushed by this awful employee ) to log in with the details i gave him which he said were not working i looked at my account and it showed the email account clearly listed there as i had told him three times, i tried to get him to be reasonable and he said im taking out my issues on him, !? but he doesnt go around doing that?! I was angry because he haqd me repeat myself eight times telling me im wrong when i wasnt?! now says this, then it started to dawn that he sounds not quite with it like hes under the influnce of a substance of somekind. I want a proper response please because im very very upset by this staff member and have had trouble for three weeks with my own site and i make apps and such things for other businesses it was letting not only me down but five years worth of clients. i would like reimbursement for the expense of all the calls trying fix this issue and no one has ever even aswered a call but i ring the US for an hour on hold still no answer. no reply on tickets from email support, live chat a little bit of help sometimes maybe once a week. the staff member is edward jones, the call was connected around 11.45am today. please listen to the call he got me very wound up, i have anxiety and have had three weeks of trouble needing your assistance and hes in a role where hes meant to HELP us kind of people. not laugh and ignore us.

Just Host Fraud prevention

Iam hosting an account (www.apexqualityme.com) with them.
Unfortunatly, my it guy has hacked the account and changed the details etc and left the company.
All the domains, last credit cards etc are under my name, but still iam unable to take back the control of my account.
Their system is favoring more to hacker than the actual buyers.
Stay away from them or at least don't put all your eggs into one basket else you will cry like me.

Just Host Hosting service

For last two weeks we were not able to open the cpanel for just host. Whenever I tried to contact, online chat specialists confirm within 24 hours it will be resolved. We are struggling for last two weeks. We were renewed service last month. After just two weeks its started cheating. Please think before registering your service with just host as they are poor in supporting now a days

Just Host The entire service

Avoid justhost - most insincere, untrustworthy company

I purchased a domain name, hosting and a who is privacy with justhost. I have since deleted the hosting and domain name for the site but then i find out months later that my personal details (Which i wanted kept private and therefore purchased whois privacy from justhost) was on the internet for everyone to see.

The website which had the information never responded to their email to take my personal details off their site, but they gave an option to remove my details which required justhost to be involved.

However, despite calling justhost several times and talking to their staff via their live chat service on their website- including the most most insensitive and unprofessional live chat staff on justhost - nisha a, who refused to give me her manager's details -no one seemed to care and didn't want to assist me. All i needed was for just host to visit the site, click on their email address (Which the site had records of and linked to my domain name) and then once they received an email from the site click a link to remove my information from their site.

Just host were unconcerned even when i said my safety was on the line with my line of work and having my personal details easily accessible on the internet and because of them because the website showed they got the information from justhost.

Whether over the phone or live chat, all their staff refused to put me through to a manager. I'm appalled !

Just Host Billing

Hi I had a website hosted with justhost for 4 years and I want to change the hosting service to another provider due to they want to charge 9 dollar per month. So I went into the account and I transfer my domain and called them do not renew my hosting service. just host told me to go to the account and change it to manual renewal. And I did., also I took out the credit card number from he site. But when the renewal comes they did charged me 455 dollars. When I asked them they said oh we have your old credit card on the file and you did not cancel thru their site sending a paper cancellation. My question is why they renewed my site even I changed to manual renewal. Second how can the company using my old information on file to charge my credit card. So any one using this company make sure you cancel thru a paper cancellation. they cheat you unless.

Just Host unwilling to cancel account in timely manner

JustHost's billing department is giving me the run around. I have, over the past 18hours, received 3 emails from them. One to try to get me to agree to let the site die a natural death and expire in 2014 as scheduled, one to tell me I hadn't filled out the previous email received with the appropriate information and one telling me he'd send it to the billing department to handle (I was emailing the billing department)! Frustrated... yes! They have the worst system for cancelling hosting accounts. I am determined to warn as many people as possible not to use them unless you want to spend days handling a problem that could be taken care of in a few minutes. JustHost sucks!

I had 2 JustHost accounts and no longer needed one of them. I found the cancellation process to be very easy. I simply sent them an email requesting to cancel. They sent me a link which prompted me to login to my cpanel. From there I filled out a few things (like if I wanted to keep my domain) and then clicked submit. Within a few hours my account was canceled and the refund was sent. :)
