Just purchased a brand new Kingstown mattress on 6/9/2023 and it sleeps horrible! Feels like the top/bottom is going straight to the floor! Head and neck is dipping downward and the foot is sinking low! Help us to either in either replacing/ refund! Kingsdowne mattress and boxsping- we purchased a queen set from Sleep country and after first year the mattress was sagging so bad. It was ok when it was just me but as soon as my boyfriend slept as well we both felt like we were falling in and had excruciating back pain.every day. Sleep country came out after we filed a warranty claim but denied because they said wasn't sagging enough. When nobody is in the bed it looks flat until you lay on it. I am a Firefighter first responder in collier county Fl. I have serious sleep issues. I purchased the Matress in Oct, 2020 from the Estero location. Ref#S033220455. Purchase reciept. the last few months my issues started to re-appear and my back began to hurt no matter what position I slept in. After looking closer at the matress I notiiced a sizeable dip in the middle of the matress. I contacted MatressFirm who advised me to go to their web site and fill out a warranty claim. I took several pics. from several angles including the labels on the matress and the boxspring. I used a straight edge to show how much the matress had sunk in. I waited about a week and matress firm sent me a letter saying that they were not responsible for the damage and that I must contact Kingsdown. that claim # with Matress Firm is #88505. I was advised that I should return to Matress Firm on Sat June 12 to the Estero location and speak to the manager for assistance. I explained the process I had followed and he advised me that it was out of their hands. I asked him if he could assist me by forwarding the pictures and info that I had already supplied explaining to him I am computer handicapped and it would save me a lot of time and stress if he could forward the info to KIngsdown. He told me he didnt know why I came back to the store but he couldnt help me. He said it was Matress Firms Warranty Dept. That I would have to contact. When I asked for the Phone # he said he didnt have any phone numbers and had no way of reaching out to his own Warranty Dept. It has now been 2 weeks since I started this process and I have gotton no satisfaction, no new matress and no sleep. Please help me

I purchased my Kingsdown mattress in 2014. We noticed after less than 2 years that the mattress started to sag. A Kingsdown representative came to inspect the mattress and claimed that it was not sagging unacceptably. Since then it has gotten worse. This 7 year old mattress has sagged to the extent that is completely unacceptable. It appears that your products are of poor quality and that Kingstown doesn't provide any customer service. I can only say that your company's products and customer service are nothing short of a disgrace.

I bought a second Kings down mattress from Leon's it not even a year old and it's sagging in on both sides with a big jump in the middle my husband is getting severe lower back pain and numbness as well as me there is huge body indents sagging in and it feels like we have to lean up hill when we turn our bodies to the side facing inwards. When we sit our daughter in the middle she falls outwards because the mattress is so sloped, Its extremely uncomfortable theres supposed to be a 10 year warranty on the Mattress and Leon's is of no help! This is the worst customer service I'm so disappointed I'm not only in pain and not sleeping I'm now in the hole 4000$ that's not only effecting my health but killed my pocketbook.

Kingstown mattress and box spring set queen
Purchased from Sleepy a $4, 000 retail value on a clearance sale, costing close to $1, 500. This is the most expensive set I ever bought and thought it was going to be a great investment. Well, April 2017, it was 1 year old and as bad as it was then, it's ten times worse now. We are elderly on a very fixed income and the back pains are so intense we are now desperate to have a recourse on this terrible mattress set. I have recently read horror stories about your companies indifference to customers problems. I expect a prompt solution and I have already written letters to consumer products, local news stations and several other outlets. Better Business Bureau exc. If I don't receive a satisfactory, positive resolution. I promise those letters will be mailed certified by me personally ASAP. Hope, that's not the direction I will be forced to pursue. At 65 years old this should not be an issue I need to invest time and energy into. Unfortunately the pictures you've provided aren't detailed enough to really show any problems. I can understand you're not finding the mattress comfortable. Could this be a problem with the mattress? Sure. However it could also be that the mattress is not to your preferences. You should be aware that different mattresses are constructed differently for each person's like or dislikes. And although $1500 for a bed set may be very expensive to some, it is far from what many may consider expensive.
Although you are welcome to send the letters certified, I'm not sure what you may feel that would accomplish. We would recommend contacting your retailer about any warranty provided. I'm sure they'll be happy to assist you in any way they are able.

Mattress has severe body indents
My wife and I have enjoyed our mattress and turn it every 3 months to keep it plush. We started not sleeping well on the mattress approximately 1 year ago and noticed body indents in the mattress. It is not comfortable any longer. We were told by our local store that sold it to us that there was a 10 year warranty against internal wear.

Kingsdown king mattress.
One side of the mattress has a 2 inch plus indent/ sag. The other side is 1 3/4 inch sag. My husband weighs 160, I weigh 90. My husband can't sleep in the bed anymore because of pain. My 14 year old son weighs 115 lb. He is in emergency rt now with back pain from sleeping on this mattress. We bought 6 mattresses from kingsdown so far.in inspector came out today and refused to warranty the mattress because he said there was a stain near the foot of the bed that is not visible to the naked eye and no where near the indents. He told me before he looked at it if there is a stain he won't warranty the mattress. I video taped and photographed the "inspection". I am taking it to youtube, social media and all complaints boards. The warranty is the biggest scam.

We purchased our mattress and LP box from Sleepys on May 10, 2013.
Gradually over time the mattress formed a hump in the middle of the mattress which made it very uncomfortable to sleep on. We did some research and found some suggested solutions to this problem including rotating the mattress and box spring which we did. It solved the problem for a short time however the problem returned and now we can barely sleep on the mattress without the fear of rolling out of the bed.
We spent a lot of money expecting a quality mattress.
We would like a solution to this problem.
Poor customer services in consulting and solving client's complaints
We orderred online a Kingsdown Imagiination Mattress Queensize at the local store in Vietnam (address: Vincom Mega Mall Showroom/ kingsdown. [protected]@fefv.com. vn) on 14 March 2017 and paid the full amount before their delivery.
On the delivery date (16 Mar 2017), the store delivered the mattress and put it on the bed. The staff opened the plastic cover themself without asking us. Upon the mattress put on the bed, we saw it was 9cm shorter than our bed. As 9cm short is too much, the bed looked ridiculous, we suggested to return the mattress. However, the sales person refused for us to return the mattress as the seal was already opened. We are very upset as the staff removed the plastic cover under the instruction of the sales person, not from us. We suggested that we would cover the incured expense and they had to refund the rest amount to us. But till now (1 week away), the mattress was delivered back to their store but we haven't received their feedback regarding the refund.
We have the feeling the sales person tries to push us into the corner when removing the plastic cover themselves without asking and consulting us regarding the return policy.
We hope our complaint can be listened and solved out reasonably.

I bought a Kingsdown Sleep to Live 800 mattress 6 years ago. Within the first year the mattress started to sag. I had a mattress inspector come and inspect the mattress. It was sagging 1-1/4 inches after 1 year. Kingsdown did nothing since it didn't meet the 1-1/2 requirement even though this was less than a year and it was 1-1/4.
Now 6 years later the whole middle of the bed sags, 1-3/8 on the left side, 1 inch in the middle and 1-1/4 on the left. It is impossible to sleep comfortably on this bed. My wife is 8 months pregnant and can not sleep on it at all. Both of us wake up with back pain and toss and turn all night long.
Kingsdown still will not take any action on this mattress even though there is a major sag across the whole bed. The customer service in this company is terrible and the mattress is even worse. I have a $4000 mattress that I can not use.
I would never buy another thing from this company and I encourage anyone who reads this not to buy anything from Kingsdown. They do not stand behind their product at all.
Mattress quality
Having read the first complain about Kingsdown, I truly feel for this person. My husband and I purchased the Kingsdown 3 months ago, this is the worst bed ever. We contacted warranty and they said that 3/4" is normal wear for 3 months and I explained to them that this isn't normal for any mattress, when spending $5000.
My husband and I both wait up every morning with back issues and let me tell you, my husband about fall to the floor yesterday, coming out of bed because the mattress is not giving the support as indicated.
I have contacted the store and warranty and still waiting for a reply, but will tell you, I will be taking this to the next step if they do not give me a warranty replacement or let me pick a different mattress.
Manufacturing defect
I'm an owner of a Kingsdown Alumni (firm) mattress that I had purchased from Leon's Furniture (Scarborough) on May 16, 2014. Almost after 1 year in there are already signs of sagging in the center of the bed. I've contacted Leon's as soon as I could but based on Leon's and Kingsdown's policy they say that sagging must be 1.5 inches deep in order to be categorized as defect. However, after having contacted CSR for a scheduled appointment by their technician they did not followup on time as promised. So I've been forced to be rescheduled again for inspection at a later date. I feel mislead and not doing their part. Having said that, I believe that the bed was deemed refurbished/damaged from the beginning rather than provided brand new. Doesn't make sense that after start of 4 good months of noticeable firmness and good sleep, the bed just failed on its own without any tampering done to it. I feel conned. Anyone out there who can give me some suggestions on this? Where/whom should I file a consumer complaint to the business? Thanks.
Kingsdown hayworth duet mattress
I bought Kingsdown Hayworth Duet mattress 9 months ago from Sleep Country, Canada. The MRSP for this mattress is around $4000. I paid ~ $2000. It is the worst mattress I have ever had. Every morning my wife and I wake up with terrible low back pain that is so bad it hurts to bend over the sink to wash my face. My wife's pain is exactly the same. The pain subsides as the day goes. The store told us the mattress has sagged and we went thru a lengthy warranty procedure and mattress measurements but at the end our claim was rejected because the mattress has not sagged enough for them to replace it. Now we are stuck with painful product. I'd avoid both Sleep Country and the manufacturer in the future.

Worthless warranty
Dont buy a kingsdown matress if you want a warranty that is worthless. Super nice looking and feeling matress, but you are pretty much guatanteed to get body impressions or rather large dents on the sleeping surface. Everyone i know who has/had a kingsdown has had this problem. The warranty is pretty much worthless, because they send out an independent company to inspect your matress and that inspector is paid bonuses based on how few defect returns they approve/decline. Ive heard and seen this firsthand both with my matress and other people i know. Complete scam company, people feel comfortable buying a $3000. matress because they figure its high quality at that price, however that is very wrong human nature. Kingsdown co went into pre bankruptcy recievership just recently i heard, from a large nationwide matress store. BUYER BEWARE
We are in the same boat. Only had ours for 18 months and my husband is suffering terrible neck, shoulder and back pain. He is a surgeon and must not have pain to do his job. The “test” kit is a joke AND the pillowtop seems VERY strategic in hiding the true failure of the mattress. We purchased ours at Furnitureland South in North Carolina. We trusted our salespeople and didn’t research - had we done so we would have never! Bought this garbage. In the process right now of trying to get something done.

I received a kingsdown kristen mattress/box spring in april of 2013 as a direct replacement with a $400 fee from the manufacturer for an original discontinued mattress/box spring from october of 2006. Our Kingsdown mattress is seven months old and has been replaced (with a Serta). At first it seemed much more firm than the mattress in the store and then it started to feel better after three or four weeks. My wife and I seemed to be fine for about three months after the initial break in. I started to have back, hip and shoulder pain and found it impossible to get a good sleep. We noticed that the mattress was sagging about an inch on my side (I'm 175lbs and my wife is 120lbs) and about half that amount on my wife's side. We turned the mattress and the break in period started again! We found that Kingsdown will only replace the mattress if it sags more than two inches. At month seven I was sleeping on the floor with my foam camping mattress with a memory foam topper. The story ends with our dog having a $2k queen mattress and box spring set…. not bad for the dog….. unless her hips start hurting! Really the SPCA should be called on me for putting my dog through this!

Snooze promotes the 'sleep to live'system which is actually a computer system that after you lie down on a mattress hooked up to a computer it will tell you what the ideal mattress is for you. Unremarkably it will recommend a kingsdown mattress which is a usa brand heavily promoted by snooze[an australian franchise]. Snooze advertising says'snooze'. . . Takes the guesswork out of mattress selection'. . . It so happens that kingsdown evolved the 'sleep to live'system which doesnt work. A cursory search of the web inputting the words 'snooze kingsdown complaints'will reveal the sheer avalanche of dissatisfied enraged victims of this product and this retailer. We purchased a mattress from them for $5499[plus bedding and it is a disaster. . . Neck / back / arm pain, not one night of peaceful sleep, a hump in the middle of the mattress and a slant. But worse is the refusal of the retailer to honour the warranty and provide a refund, the manufacturer will not reply to our emails and the franchisor [snooze]didnt bother to inspect the mattress, nor talk to us about our complaint. A terrible experience.
