This Mattress does not hold its form...has an extreme sag in the middle that causes a lot of back pain. Company acts like they have never heard this before, and have a very bad warranty replacement policy...even though they say lifetime warranty.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
We also purchased a Kingsdown Sleep to Live 800 series mattress. Had to send the first one back because the two sides were totally different. We both tested out to be "Royal" and although both tags at the end indicated the bed was "Royal" it was not. One side sagged and you nearly fell out of bed. The other side was lumpy, hard as a rock, and you had to roll uphill to get out of bed. This was apparent from day one. We complained immediately but they tried to say it was our frame, we hadn't given it enough time, etc. After three weeks of severe backaches and hardly any sleep I demanded an exchange. Another week went by as we dickered back and forth but they finally gave us a new mattress. This one doesn't have the issues the first one had other than it is still lumpy, has a huge lump in the middle and we both still wake up with severe backaches which go away as soon as we get up. Not sure what the problem is but I never had a backache/hip ache or general body malaise on our old Sealy Posturepedic. It was 16 years old and wish I had it back. Paid 5K+ for this one and we are very unhappy. We got it from Mattress Firm and they will exchange (within 90 days) for something else. We'll have to pay delivery charges and a restocking fee, but I'm thinking it will be worth it. Thinking of a Temperpedic - anybody got advice on them?
Having problems as well. I'm 178 lbs and my side is sagging like i weigh 578. I haven't tried to call the company yet. But I sure as hell am going to
I purchased the Kingsdown Wentworth. Six months into it and the sag in the center began. I only weight 120 lbs. I called Mattress Giant and got the run around. They threatened to charge me hundreds of dollars for a technician to come out and determine if the sag was normal wear and tear. Five years later and I am still stuck with this monstrosity. This bed has cost me a fortune in docter bills for my back. Now I am trying to contact Mattress Giant Corperate.
We have a Sleep to Live executive royal FIRM queen size mattress that is a year old. If I sit on the bed I sink in about 4 inches. Every night I roll toward the middle even if I try to hug the sides. I am in incredible back pain. My husband and son are moving our 18 year old mattress back into our room. I am on muscle relaxers and pain pills. I went out of town for 4 nights and my back pain was completely gone and was back after two nights of sleeping on this mattress. It is truly a monstrosity!
My son has this mattress for the last 2 years, he now weights 150 lbs and is sinking in to the point where it is cutting off circulation at night. Extremely dissappointed with this purchase. Has anyone had success putting a board under it, or flipping it.
we just got ours replaced from the softest series of 800 to a step up firmer. i thought it was a very easy and friendly return process. it cost us $200 shipping to get the huge mattress delivered, but even that came quickly maybe 2 weeks.
We had the Series 800 for exactly 7 months before it started to sag and create pockets that were hard to get out of. It was only comfortable is you stayed in the exact position of the cocoon! At twelve months we could no longer stand the backpain and replace it with a sleep number. Now trying to sell the horrible beast!
