poor customer service reguarding isuues with my phone and reception
i have multiple calls to koodo and koodo tech. must have 40 hours in time over the course of 2 years to deal with different problems. they say yjey will call back and rarely ever do

Highway Robbery for Extra Data Charges
Recently I made the mistake of forgetting to turn on my wifi at home and took an instagram call. This call drained all of my remaining data for the rest of the month in about an hour. I immediately paid my phone bill in advance, hoping that this would kickstart my next months data, but no. I had to wait 10 days for my data to turn back on, and I need to use it for work. Now over the time of the last ten days I have been forced to over 80 dollars for additional data just to be able to keep working. This is more than my monthly bill costs. This is honestly completely immoral and [censored]ED UP! Phone companies need to be burned to the ground and everyone who works for them is a criminal, in my opinion. You are literally stealing my [censored]ing money for some invisible airwaves. [censored] YOU! [censored] THIS COMPANY! [censored] PHONE COMPANIES IN CANADA!

I want to cancel my service but all the time there is a nice digital rep and this rep moves me here and there to many options but unfortunately it has no option of service cancellation. I am outside of country now since 28th Dec 2020, but the beauty of Koodo is that they are billing me and I am paying it. Is there someone in Koodo who will cancel my service. I also want a refund of my money back.

Ok here it is. I get calls on my phone but let my answering machine do it business. But when i check there are no messages left on it. So I simply redial the number. Someone who answers says they never called me? Alert! So it's a sorry and move on. Then it happens again and the guy said he never called my phone once, yet I just redialed the number from the missed call. These numbers are suspicious 403 903 ... which is the first 6 numbers of my phone. I am not the first one to say this as many of my friends are mentioning that they are getting similar calls to their phones. So what is it? Why are people playing with people on the phones these days? Who is behind this and why is it continuing to happen? I know for a fact that many people are experiencing the very same thing and including revenue canada caller scams. Think of the millions they pilfer off the gullible. It's a shame what this world has become. Try to fix this problem please. I'm uncertain why the police have not been involved in these phone scams. Don't they have to prove who they are to get on your network? Pretty certain I know the answer already. Just another hurdle for Canadians to jump. You got the point of my complaint. Something need to change.

My phone won't stay connected for more than a few minutes, it keeps dropping calls and not loading anything. The battery dies in just a few hours (maybe 4) and everything it does it does extremely SLOWLY. Mind you, I've had this phone for only just over 4 months. Their "insurance" is nothing but a scam and doesn't cover anything outside of the regular manufacturer's warranty. I am so upset that I can't return this phone without either A) paying 200$ to get it "fixed" through your "insurance" even though I've been paying monthly into it or B) to pay outright for the useless brick that never worked. I can't even afford to cancel my plan until the stupid thing is paid off.
roaming charges by koodo mobile
This is in regards to my cell phone bill [protected]).
During the last five months I have been charges extraordinary amount of money, in the range of 3 to 4 times my normal monthly charges, in roaming charges even though I hardly ever used my cell phone during my trips abroad. This will happen with my mobile data turned off!
I have paid these high charges trying to avoid conflict and finding that their customer service didn't really have much authority to help; but I am tired of paying these high bills.
I once went to a Kodoo store in a mall, and asked them how does one avoid roaming charges while abroad. And, they told me to turn off mobile data. When I told them that I was doing exactly that and yet I was getting these high bills, even they recommended that I contest these charges.
This month's bill is twice my normal monthly charge, which is about $80.00. I have been to Bangladesh for about two weeks and Chicago for about four days. My mobile data was turned off almost 90-95% of the time, yet my current bill is twice than normal.
Can anybody help.

koodo kiosk employees
I am a long time koodo customer... 10+ years. I am a 20 year veteran of the Canadian armed forces and I have seen some nasty people in that time. Although I had never been treated with more disrespect than when I went to the kiosk at the cataraqui town center in Kingston Ontario. When I wanted to upgrade my wife's phone with the one I was using and purchase another phone for me, the employee, we'll call him Captain Minimum Wage because he would not give me his name, told me that it was fraud. I called koodo and confirmed that what I wanted to do was perfectly fine but he still refused to help me. When I asked to see his manager (Mike), he just told me to leave. I asked him to call koodo themselves and they threatened to call security! As I turned to leave, Captain Minimum Wage insulted my clothing! AS I WAS LEAVING! Now, I don't know how much you know about veterans and PTSD but he was very lucky I left without incident. I want that person And his manager fired! If this is the kind of people koodo employs, I will be leaving when my contract is done. I have never been so humiliated in my LIFE! I will continue to escalate this until someone at koodo decides to do something about these two [censored]s.

Today, September 28, 2019, I waited for and received a call back from an agent, for a question I had. I realize that Koodo has to ask many questions for security reasons she went beyond what was expected. Ive been with Koodo for about three or more years and I changed phones form an android to an iPhone and I wanted to know why I could not text when away from home. I would get a message that " I had no internet service". I did not get a chance to ask this question because she transferred me to someone else, so she said. But after a minute or so she came back and started asking me more questions. The whole conversation became ridiculous to me and I disconnected. I cringe when I need a question answered. This isn't the first time I've had this experience. I would appreciate an answer to my question before I have to change my service.

You got scammed man, koodo doesn't have a store outside of Canada and I can assure you that koodo don't use gmail to send e-mails nor do they sale anything OTHER than cellphones and plans. Plus we cannot take anything OTHER than canadian money and you would need canadian ID + credit card to open an account with us.
Btw, you couldn't take a couple of seconds to [censored]ing google about koodo? Someone by text message tells you to send them money and you trust them? Come on haha

I got new only talk and text plan from Koodo last month and few days later, changed my plan to 4GB for $55/mo. Since then I have to call them everyday because I am getting messages that I have 100 MB data and I used 100% of it but, I have 4 GB plan. Whenever I call them they say oh its a error but i do have 4gb plan and I used just 3% of it. Today my data plan is paused again. I don't not how this company works. It was my worst decision to get plan from Koodo.

When I cancelled my account with Koodo, I was told that the outstanding balance was going to show up on my next bill. Instead of receiving a bill, three months later I received a letter from Koodo saying that I my account was sent to a collection company and that I owe them late fees on top of my balance. I called the rep and told him that I was going to pay my initial balance right away but not the late fees because Koodo never sent me a bill. Two months later, and after a couple of unfruitful conversations with Koodo reps, Koodo tells me that I owe them money, that they cannot do anything, that I need to resolve the issue with the collection company. Outrageous, my contract is with Koodo, I paid them what we agreed. But Koodo keeps harassing me through the many calls from the collection company.

I have just purchased this device and through my searches, I know that it has a built-in FM radio receiver.
HOWEVER, it seems that this part of my new device is not accessible to me. I have downloaded an FM radio app and plugged in earbuds but the app tells me that I cannot access the FM tuner because my carrier has turned it off on the device. Either in the OS kernel or somewhere else.
Since the device in MINE, I would like to be able to use the FM tuner as well.

Hi there calling to make a complaint regarding an employee urlesef ( payment department ) i called in today Friday Nov 2. 2018 regarding outstanding balance on my account. I explained to him that as a person on disability i was having a hard time understanding the information he was giving me so i would simply repeat the question and information as i thought we were miscommunicating and he wasnt understanding. However he continued to cut me off and explain that all he was gonna do was continue to repeat the same information (the information i explained i didnt understand ) when i prompted him for his name and said i would talk too someone higher to that he responded "there is no one higher". I did call back though and spoke with a lovely female agent who i explained the exact same information to and her understanding the situation i was in reached out to her support team and helped me figure out my situation better and clarified the questions i had asked Urlesef without making me feel dumb. She didnt cut me off and she didnt repeat anything. She understood my concern. Please look into the agent urlesef as i believe the tactics he used made me feel very uncomfortable unheard and literally dumb when i had explained everything as best i could. He wasnt willing to listen
