I'm tired of going into this Kroger store and trying to communicate with hispanic non english speaking employees. If they are from a different country and can't speak english in the USA are they here legally and how can they work without a ss #? When I asked an employee about this problem I was then told that 1 was a co-managers neighbor and he got her the job and was very protective of her and I then found out that this non-english speaking employee makes more than 8.00 hourly wages! I know for a fact that there are american employees there not being paid this much! what an insult! I then noticed that there seems to be an awful lot of hispanic managers in this store alone and was wondering if they are basically promoting hispanic people over other races on purpose? Hispanics helping "their own kind" I won't be shopping at that Kroger store anymore just so you know.

What evidence do you have that they are illegal? It is hard for companies, especially of Kroger's size to keep this process in place. I suspect your review has more of you racist assumptions than of facts.

I am Hispanic, was born here, but have also lived in Mexico for two years. A revelation for all you open border people. The Mexican immigration laws are exponentially harsher on their illegal immigrants than those of the United States. Not only are these people lawbreakers, but they are not even thankful for being allowed to be here. Crime rates have soared in areas highly populated with hispanics. I could give example after example about why/how illegal aliens are a cancer to our society. People that don't agree are simply ignorant of all the facts and devoid of moral aptitude. If it were up to me... well, I guess I better not post that thought.

How do you know they're illegal? It's hard to learn a new language; I've been learning Spanish for about 8 years and am still not fluent. Get off your high horse and maybe make an effort to learn a few Spanish words.

Look lmc_0391, just because you have problems learning the language doesn't mean anybody/everybody else does. Living on the border all of of one's life, you tend to pick up on a phrase or two, even if you don't mean to. Then there's my first wife who is actually from Mexico. Then, after we were married, we lived in Juarez, which was not then, but is now the most dangerous city in the world. With all of this, you learn the culture, the patterns of thought and even the way the different classes of that country dress. I don't need somebody else to tell me they are illegal.

You've never spent any time with a group from another country, have you?

Then, there are those like gesserfan. These people are oblivious to MOST of the facts because they listen to half of one side of the story and use profanity and insults (not even clever ones) to force the opinion they've formulated with that limited knowledge. Let me guess; did you vote for Obama, gesserfan?

TRY WORKING WITH THEM! Krogers is NOW famous for hiring and NEVER FIRING these folks who create tremendous problems for people who NEED NEED NEED NEED to work. Now they are SUPERVISORS and department leads who do nothing but bring down a persons' success.

Krogers will be reported as a former employee mistreated, affirmative action and sexually, physically and mentally harrassed. Now Kroger's forces people whom need jobs to take out the trash and have to endure unpractical work environments by people WHO CAN'T EVEN SPEAK ENGLISH OR get off on illegal practices of Affirmative Action. In Texas, you WILL be harrassed by co-workers who are upset that you don't join their union.

KROGER'S WILL HEAR MY VOICE AND MY CONCERNS. RACIAL DISCRIMINATION AT KROGER'S ... IF YOU DON'T SPEAK UP NO ONE WILL EVEN LISTEN OR CARE ABOUT HOW PEOPLE ARE BEING TREATED AT THESE LOW LEVEL JOBS JUST TO GIVE TO SOMEONE THAT SHOULD WORRY ABOUT THIER OWN COUNTRY AND LEAVE THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA TO PEOPLE WHO WANT TO WORK WHO WANT TO BE PLEASANT AND WHO NEED JOBS. yEAH Grocery store business is horrible but I did the best job I could do. Even though awful complaining customers you HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IT'S LIKE UNTIL YOUR IN THE SITUATION AND IT IS 5 TIMES WORSE DEALING WITH PEOPLE DEMEANING YOU CUSTOMERS, WORKERS AND SUPERVISORS . STOP DISCRIMINATING AND LET PEOPLE WORK IN A SAFE HAPPY ENVIRONMENT AND MAYBE we can all reach goals of making ends meat that we are not anymore!

I PUT IN MY COMPLAINT AS A WORKER. AND WILL PROTECT MY LAW AS A HUMAN BEING NOT A DOG, RAT OR CAT OR ANYOTHER ANIMAL A RESPECTABLE BEAUTIFUL TALENTED WOMAN WHO DESERVES THE BEST FOR SPEAKING UP ABOUT UNFAIR HIRING AND FIRING PRACTICES. You don't know what a person goes through until you walk in their shoes but yes employees are sick of having to work with people who bully you just so they can stick together!

ENOUGH OBAMA ... ENOUGH!
