Subscribe to KyLin TV for a year contract. Feels like to watch no-man operated IPTV service, the TV screen always shows black sever busy signal for scheduled TV programs and lots of misplacement under TV program titles. Outrageously when we tried to cancel our services, we bombarded with sales call from KyLin TV. There was $15 rebate when we signed up one year contract, of course this never shows up! All my friends have been canceling their services. This company is doomed to go bankrupt one day! Now they try to suck Europe customers!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

I certainly would not recommend kylintv to anyone. Their bad billing process and errors will cost you a credit score dents. Their inconsisitent response in customer service will cost you time and money to deal with.

This is not true…… at least the black screen /server busy part. I watch KylinTV for 1+ Years and it works very well. I use Verizon at home. I never got a server busy signal. My mom likes its channels and dramas. My son likes the cartoons. We have no complains about the service. It is fabulous!
Sep, 1, 2010. I order Kylin TV for replaced my Dish Newwork TV, meantime they charged $65 from my cred card account. But I found Kylin TV screen low quality so I cancelled the order and return their box soon by UPS ( I paid the post) on Sep, 4 2010. From Sep, 4, 2010 to Now (Oct, 4, 2010 )they not only did not return my money that they have been charged also delay and delay. They can not supply return money day, and just let me wait and wait. This is a very bad TV company, any order their TV need be catrefully!

I recently sign up for the promotion where I have five days trail period for free. The sales representative told me that if i'm not satisfied with the service, I can cancel at anytime within the trail period. On the first time of watch Kylin Tv, I know I will NEVER subscribe with them. There's always additional charges, gradually slows down the internet speed in my house, and a bad video quality. NOT CLEAR AT ALL! I called the customer service for cancellation, in the beginning they always said my account doesn't exist. So I provide my name, address, phone number and even the model number on the cable box. so they finally admit that i do have an account after my 5th time calling. OK, now they've got my information, I stated my request of cancellation the service. They disregard my request, instead, they are trying to sell me more service. I specifically told them my purpose of this phone call is to cancel my service, That's all. They put me on the phone for about an hour or so, because I was so certain that I want to cancel it, so they ask for my e-mail address and saying that I will be receiving cancellation form via e-mail and then following the instructions on how to return the cable box.
Off course no e-mail show up. And I felt that i'm being fooling around by the customer service.
As also a victim of Kylin TV's fraudulent, I want to spread the horrible experience that I had with such scam company.

I have been searching for a reliable IPTV service with Chinese programming for many months. I came across two providers, mainly GEKTV and KylinTV. I recently subscribed to GEKTV but found that it requires alot of bandwidth living on the east coast as it had many buffering issues. Initially, their set top boxes were all backordered but finally was able to subscribe. During our subsciption, the internal power supply shorted while watching. Thankfully, we were home to witness this. After calling GEKTV, they stated that they still do not have any Set Top Boxes for replacement. 6 weeks later, still no replacement, so they agreed to cancel the subscription without penalty. I researched KylinTV and found reviews on this board and was VERY reluctant in trying them out with all the complaints in the past. I called Jackie Xu and spoke with him directly and I am happy I did. Jackie stated a majority of the complaints on the internet were old and in the past, but he assured me that previous issues have been corrected for the most part. I agreed to try the service (2.0) for the free trial period under their current promotion. Within a few days, I received the new Set Top Box and was extremely impressed with the quality compared to GEKTV. The Set Top Box (2.0) would compare to a ROKU Box that you would use for Netflix. Jackie assured me that bandwidth required would provide adequate viewing with no buffering issues. After using the box for the past few days, I have yet to experience any buffering issues that was experienced with the GEKTV Set Top Box. The Video quality with HDMI is highly acceptable. Overall, it seems like KylinTV is on the right track. Only wish as a subscriber is for KylinTV to provide more channels with Cantonese language as a majority of the programming is in Mandarin. I hope, if possible, one day, KylinTV will offer TVB and Tai Seng which is offered by GEKTV and DirectTV. Should KylinTV pursue this, they will corner the market for Chinese IPTV beating Dish Network, Direct TV, Cable, and GEKTV.
We got Kyin2.0 HD and very frustrated with it. While watching a movie, it will frequently stop and get a black screen. We will have to restart the chapter again. If we use the fast forward it will frequently stop again. When I get so frustrated with this, I will go on my laptop and watch the same movie on the internet. On the internet it is free, I don't get the stops as Kylin2.0 and the fastforward works. The news channels on Kylin don't stop as often which is the only redeeming value. Frustrated Customer in IL.

I had one year package with Kylin TV and continued with another yearly package for my parents, however, they still charged to my account even I clearly told one of their representative -- please stop my pogram after my yearly package is done...now they are sending me the bill for the service that I did not request at all...
any kylinTV customers, please switch to Charming China, they only charge $5.99/month with 50+ channels and 10+ HD channels, hundreds of new film -- all free! i was paying Kylin TV for $360/year with this terrible customer service.
In order to stay away from the harrassment from kylin TV, I agree to pay the money they asked, luckily, my credit card was changed, they stopped their service, so the bill would not be scary! the representative talks like a answering machine, "this is my company policy"...Kylin TV will go bankruptcy for sure, just the matter of time!

Kylin TV Customer service contacted me and removed the financial charge, I have already sent back the box to them.

Now as everyone understood and can check official statement from www.gw-tv.cn . KyLinTV is the ONLY IPTV company that was authorized to broadcast TV channels from Great Wall Package in North America. And KyLinTV is the ONLY company that delivers real HD quality Chinese TV stations outside of China. All other company claiming copy rights or HD are misleading and cheating customers.

我母亲看了他们三月份2014的报纸广告“$15.99 全球无限打 & 终生不涨价” 。所以就推出原来的电话公司交了一年的费用结果,结果从昨天起六月中2014电话被停掉. 打了十多个电话不是没人接是是不晓得原因。到今天下午总算有了个结果。说是我们欠费!我们问那“$15.99 全球无限打 & 终生不涨价” 呢?他们先是不承认有这样的广告,可遗憾的是我母亲留下了那份报纸。那位接电话的小姐就改口诡辩说我们看的是三月的广告,现在六月了不做数!
麒麟电视公司除了完全是个骗子加无无赖的公司外,他们的线路也很糟糕。在没有所谓的欠费以前就常有电话打不出去。要不就是朋友电话打不进来窜线。之前因为线路的问题我母亲就找过一开死联系她的Jeff。可是每次都找不到,留言后也不回电话。
劝诫大家不要用这家公司。他们和大陆一些恶人一样专门骗老人的。钱并不多但我最厌恶骗子。我把报纸扫描了发给你们。希望没有更多的人想我母亲一样受骗。
My mom saw the Ad by KylinTv three month ago and sign up their unlimited call program. (pay for one year in advance). The day before yesterday, June 18th. 2014, 3 month after she start to use KylinTV the phone was cut off.
Day One (June 18th 2014)
Phone being cut off without any notification. Call customer service and leave message. No one call back.
Day Two (June 19th 2014)
call over ten times finally, someone at 3pm. afternoon said they cut off the line because we need to some additional fee. We said we already pay one in year in advance. They said it's something additional. They asked us to pay for additional about a month ago as well for some TV they said we watched. Even though my parents has never use their service to watch TV.
Day three (June 20th 2014)
There is still no phone service. We asked to either turn the phone back on or cancel the service. My parents has use the phone number for near 20 years after they came to the U.S.A. They don't want to lose the number. Guess what the customer said. Their boss is in vacation. He won't be back till next week! Seriously?
Other experience in last three month every since my mother sign up one year international call service:
1. It's not the first time they cut off the phone. Once they said my parents need to pay additional because my parents used their line to watch TV. The funny thing is my father spent most time in China he doesn't even know how to use the TV remote control and my mom have problem to even using a cell phone. None of them know how to use their machine to steal the TV service!
2. Once a while the phone can't call out.
3. Once a while the phone went to someone's house when there is call from out side.
Now you see how sucks KylinTV is. Don't ever use their service!
By the way, the name of the customer service who talked with my mother is Sandy 周 #6071. She's the one said they can't solve the problem till her boss back from vacation. We will keep update in Monday. The day she claim her boss will be back.

My parent purchase the "全球无限打 & 终生不涨价" phone package (Unlimited Global Call & Never Increase Rate) three month ago and pay for a year in advance. Then the phone was cut off at June 18th. 2014

Phone still off; call multiple time; customer service can't explain te reason why the phone cut off; finally someone said my parents need to add fee to turn the phone back on.

My parent want to cancel the account and get back the number, since they have used near 20 years. Ask to speak to manager; customer service Sandy 周 #6071 said they can't solve the problem till her boss back from vacation. My parent have to wait.

Phone still off; customer service #6052 Joy told my mom the mananger will call her back in one hour; Less then one hour, Miss Li #6068 call back and told my mom to pay the additional fee otherwise they won't cancel the service; my mom asked for the place to return the machine and pay the fee; she refuse to provide the return address.
If it's not because my parent has use the number for near 20 years. My parent will not waist time to call them. Now I will have to waist time call for my mom to cancel the service and get her number back.
Kylin sucks and it's truly the worst company and service I have ever experience. I am Chinese myself and I hate to say this. Now I understand why many people doesn't trust Chinese business.

Additional...this is not the first time Kylin asked my parents to add the additional fee.
About a month ago Kylin asked my parents for additional fee. They said my parents watch their TV. The funny thing is my father was in China then and my mother doesn't even know how to use a cell phone (she learn it this week after Kylin TV turn off her phone of almost 20 years) She only purchase the phone service, how can she watch the TV?
Additional, this is not the first time they asked for additional fee. It happens about a month ago. They said my parents use watch their TV. First my parents only order phone service, second how the people who doesn't know how to use cell know how to steal their TV to watch (My mom just learn how to use cell phone in last several days after Kylin cut off her service?
KylinTV is political control. If a show in Taiwan and talked negative of China, KylinTV would make that show unwatchable. Don't waste the money on them, you can view most of TV shows and news on Youtube for free.
