After 5 days to diagnosis the problem, the "recommend to replace radio assembly" at a cost of $3, 800 just for the part was disappointing, to say the least. This is the 3rd Lexus I have owned and, especially as a retiree now, I don't think this amount is reasonable for a major failure that shouldn't have happened. So now what? My name is Dawn Mahoney and as an 11 year Lexus customer I'm contacting Lexus Corporate as a last resort due to an ongoing issue regarding Lexus and North Jersey Collision Auto body shop. On December 23, 2020 I leased a 2021 Lexus ES250 and 27 days later on January 19, 2021 I was involved in an accident. I was rear ended and was assigned no fault and all claims initially went through the other driver's insurance. Now, my medical claims are being handled by both Progressive and State Farm. A payment was issued to North Jersey Collision by State Farm in the amount of $24, 460.50. I was offered a rental car reimbursement from State Farm in the amount of $166.96. Bob from North Jersey Collision issued me an overpayment check in the amount of $1, 500.00 to be used towards a rental vehicle. That payment covered me for the first 26 days of my car being repaired.
Today is July 22, 2021 and my vehicle is somehow still being repaired at North Jersey Collision.
Desired outcome: reimbursement /loaner
My 2017 Lexus display screen
The screen is all messed up and bubbly looking. I have the 2017 RX 350 with approx 48, 000 miles .
when i purchased the vehicle almost a year ago now, I was told it was the plastic covering over the screen .
it is not … i have written the dealership multiple times and called

Is there a warranty on this piece ? Have there been problems with others ? Thank you so much .

2019 NX 350h
Nightmare is the best way to describe the experience and the car so far.
We went back to the dealership today as we were told to pick up the car - nothing was done as promised, to the car.
We sat there for hours waiting after I asked when I went in there was the car ready. I was told the car was ready and just needed the temporary plates.
The items promised that were not done:
The tonneau cover promised (Chris our salesman prior to agreement) of the trunk was not in the car.
The LED screen (main screen for NAV, ENTERTAINMENT, CONTROLS, ETC) was not replaced and does not even light up.
The yellow warning light came on in the car 15 mins driving down the road.
The car does not lock, key must be dead.
Car is dirty inside and not detailed as promised, the paint chips were not repaired as promised, etc etc
We went back with the car because he car simply does not feel safe to drive on top of everything else not being done.
Mirrors do not operate, sensors on the car work intermittently - both for backing up as well as seat belts, etc.
It just seems like we were told whatever so we would buy the car - like a scam.
Two other dealerships I had called for the same vehicle checked in with me to see if I had made the deal with Lexus of Marin and I told them the whole story and they said you should have read the Yelp reviews! Their cars needed none of the items that we were promised on this car from Marin Lexus.
This is the killer though - the sales manager was rude and mean to my girlfriend when she went back with the car and told her she had to keep it! Would not consider giving her old car to use while they fixed everything on this car. Thank God I was working in SF so I couldn't be back there for that because I would not have taken that from him after making us waste hours upon hours for the car and nothing done!
How is that for a first time experience with Lexus of Marin?! And Lexus in general!

Went in for $212 80,000 mile service...
But was also told that my car had a broken motor mount... which sounded suspicious! Because my car had no vibration noise! I told them not to do job... Because of that and the price that was quoted over $800? Which is crap. For a 100 dollar part... I took it to my mechanic and after a thorough inspection. He found no crack motor mount! Which now I'm furious and I will be making an issue with attorney General NJ... And BBB complaints... And with Lexus Cooperation! Try to take advantage of my wife! SMH
Car wash
We bought our first Lexus last summer (in the middle of Covid). Part of the sales pitch was we could get a free car wash at any Lexus dealer. Of course the car wash was not available at that time. But now, in July, most things are opening up. However our dealership (Park Place Lexus, Grapevine, TX) is still closed. In April we traveled to San Antonio and in May we went to Colorado. In both destinations we were able to get a free car wash - no questions asked. We were very pleased with Lexus. However we came home and we're still not able to get a car wash. I emailed our dealership and questioned when we might expect this customer service to be open again. It has been a week and they have not given us the courtesy of a response. We know that Sewell Lexus of Dallas has their car wash open. It seems that only Park Place dealerships are not concerned about offering this service yet.
Desired outcome: Would like to know when we might expect to have this free service available again.

wife out of town car wash rip up the license plate, and they would not help her. told her she would need to leave car and were very rude. needed needle nose and was told could not even help with a tool. 3-5 minute job to help a lexus customer. lucky the plumber fixing the bathroom had tools and fixed for her in a few minutes. disappointed in the service from this dealer ship completely!

Thank you for your congratulatory letter for purchasing another Lexus from Lexus of Louisville. After having purchased three new RX350's, I'm sorry to say that this purchase failed to meet my expectations. In fact, it fell very short in terms of acceptable customer service.
We visited your dealership in October and selected the car we'd like to purchase. At the time, we had not determined if we, in fact, were going to purchase the vehicle. Bill Marshall stated that the dealership would go ahead and order it and if we didn't want it when it arrived, we weren't obligated.
On February 13th I was notified that the vehicle had arrived. I told Eliot that I'd like to pay what I owed and pick it up on our way back to Indiana from Florida on March 19th. I was informed that was totally impossible because of the 45 days in which he was required to turn the car. My feeling is that the trade-in vehicle was already sold. The distance from Cape Coral to Louisville is more than 1, 100 miles each way. I asked Bill, via email, if we could meet halfway or do anything to eliminate the grueling 2, 200- mile round trip. I received no response.
We ended up making the trip, and it indeed was grueling. As we took delivery, I asked Bill to have the mechanics save my power cord for my radar detector. A week later I asked if he had and he said "no, " it couldn't be salvaged due to the steering wheel air bag. If he was going to attempt to deceive a customer, he should have come up with a better story. I sent Eliot a receipt for the new cord, which was about $25 and received no reply. This was the second time this had happened -- and the first time it cost me over $75. Very poor customer service once again.
Since 2016 when I first purchased from your dealership, I have probably referred 300 people to Lexus of Louisville. I raved about your service and excellent pricing. My glowing references ceased with all the recent problems. I regret that when we took delivery, I didn't stick my head in your office and explain to you what was going on.
As we departed this last purchase, we got the distinct feeling that we were just another number on your sales board. Business obviously was booming, and you do not need ours.
I can say I have purchased my last Lexus in the state of Kentucky.

Replaced puddle light, but they were not the right ones
I expected the illuminate Lexus logo replacement light because mine were out. Dealership stated something about not getting them from-manufacturers.
The clear puddle lights were better. Logo lights frequently go out.
Is this true ? I believe I was given misinformation and dealership do not want to correct mistake. Will you sent me the correct lights to my home since I paid for lights and instillation for the wrong puddle light.

Software update
a proud owner of two Lexus cars. I purchased my first car in USA. I had great after sales service experience there with my IS 2006 model. I thank US lexus for there help and great service experience.
Recently I moved to Saudi, and purchased my second lexus, 2019 ES. I think Lexus SA, do not have proper training on how lexus experience should be. Special in regards of softwares and system updates.
For example, my new Lexus car, allow the dealer to update the media system.
When I asked my dealer, the main Lexus office in Riyadh, to update the system software. They seemed very ignorant about this feature.
Even Saudi Lexus website, does not have any software support section.
Hereby, I ask Lexus JP and Lexus SA to solve this basic issue.
NX300 2020
The Lexus NX300 2020 in Middle East doesn't have Apple Car Play, the Lexus service centre has no idea when it will be rolled out, and no way of adding the function to the car outside of Lexus without breaking the warranty.
Forums online mention that it's feasible via a software upgrade.
The built in Navigation is outdated and useless.
Appreciate if we can get an idea on how to get apple car play (or android auto) update.
I have filed several complaints about the same subject,
SA dealer is totally ignorant on software update. It makes me feel that i own cheap car. The Lexus experience here is zero

また、Lexus financial serviceは厳しい経済状況の中で、延長をしたし、service feeも課されます、続いてお客様に二重に負担させなければいいです!また、市中銀行よりも高い金利を提示します。
私の周りにはLexusを買いたいが、このようなservice受け購入したく案と思うだろう...権威したくない。
自動車はとても良いが働く従業員やDealerそしてLexus financial serviceは不満に思います。
大変な時期だから、お互いに負担は軽減良ければと思います...

I was driving on a snow covered but plowed side street. Going about 20 miles per hour. Came to slight incline in road with curve to left. Tried to turn to left and car did not turn. Antilock brakes were pumping with no effect. Felt like car accelerate dr slid directly into telephone pole. This is a road I drive on everyday for work. Why didn't bags deployed .?

I have purchased Lexus GS 350 2015 model, from the lexus dealer in Kuwait in 2016. The car is still under warranty. (2021) the car was sent for repair (hot air coming through AIr conditioning vents when it is off.) car was sent twice to the dealer workshop and it was not repaired properly. Loyalty to brand means nothing anymore!!!
I have been a Lexus own for over 20 years. I have purchased x4 lexus vehicles. one sedan and three GX460. I have heard rumors that the brand was not what it used to be and that its service has suffered as a result. I have been loyal to the brand for many years and always thought I would keep driving a Lexus GX 460 truck. on 10.6.19 my radiator blew while I was driving in the interstate. the vehicle ran hot which resulted in the head gasket blowing. the vehicle engine is designed to shut do=wn when over heated to protect the engine. THis did not occur. My emissions system was being recalled and was to be repaired on 10.13.19. the Emmission system made the engine light be on and I was not alerted that anything was wrong with engine. Cost of new Engine more than $10, 000. Called Lexus Corporate for assistance. They basically told me that it was my problem. They don't care about loyalty to the brand. They were Cold and Impersonal. I have a truck that is worthless. They wont help me repair. I can't go buy another Lexus becuase they do not stand behind there product. This is a malfunction of the Engine and recalled Emmission system.
I can't be loyal to a brand that is not loyal to me and stand behind there product.

Water drains in side the passenger side of the car.
Bring car to the Atlantic Lexus of 110 dealer as water is leaking in side the car at passenger side mat. Car vin number is 2T2BZMCA3HC066548. Car is under warranty and dealer is telling drain is not covered in warranty. I am the loyal customer of Lexus this is my second Lexus and before lexus and Toyota before these lexuses I used 3 Toyota vehicles please help me to fix my car as it is in under warranty. I bought a 2009 Lexus 350RX in 2015. I was never warned about the possibility of the dashboard failing, even though Lexus was aware of the problem at the time. I never received a letter regarding an extended warranty. A few months ago, my dashboard started cracking after taking it out of town instead of it being garaged. It is getting worse and worse and actually starting to melt. Lexus will not fix the dashboard, despite it being a known manufacturing defect.
I should have been told about this possibility by the Lexus dealership when I got the car. Despite the expiration date of the extended warranty, Lexus should still stand by its product, especially for customers who did not receive notice of this problem.
I will never buy another Toyota product again.
