LG Electronics huge noise in compressor

Air Conditioner was purchased on july 2010 and installed at c-415, Pragati Vihar Hostel, Lodhi Road, New Delhi 110003. after installation the machine was found faulty and was replaced by LG and new machine was installed. It was told that to avail the warranty facility the AC is to be serviced and accoridingly the servie was got done from LG. since then the AC is making huge noise. Despite lot of efforts we cooudl not catch the people on their telephone number [protected]. I request that LG should send their people to ractify the deffects.

LG Electronics worst customer service

Hi,
I have bought 1 ton split AC on 20.08.2010, der is no cooling in my AC for the past two weeks. I registerd a complaint twice, complaint nos are : rna110505000120 & rna110509050577 . but till now my problem is not solved and i make follow up also everyday, they said 'sorry for the inconvenience ur problem will solve within two days' & they give local servicve centre nos [protected], [protected] & [protected], i tried all these nos, two nos are ringing and no der is no reply, I caught 1no ([protected]) on line, she said definetly we will replace the compressor tomorrow, but next day itself shes not picking my call.

one person came for service on 09.05.11 after checked everthing he said will replace the compressor tomorow, and he removed the screws but he didnt fix it also, but till now der is no reponse from lg, day by day i registerd a complaint also at [protected].

LG is a very big and trusted company, Im not expected this type of customer service from LG, I request you to kindly take care of my issue and replace my AC immediately...

LG Electronics piece of junk

So I got a 27 cubic ft stainless steel fridge on March 3, 2011 and I have now had 5 service calls. PLEASE COME TAKE THIS PEICE OF JUNK AWAY.
Lg phone people are very nice and the service man is nice but wondering about how competant he is as every time he comes he never checks to make sure its all working well after he messes with it. I cannot take another day off for this stupid fridge, take it away!

LG Fridge door Rusting. Rusting at the bottom of water and ice dispenser. No idea why - no idea where water is leaking from as it looks dry. Out of warranty. Not sure what to do.

LG Electronics junk phones

I bought 2 LG Optimus LW690 Cricket cell phones on May 2, 2011 for my wife and myself, on May 7, 2011 5 days later both phones screens went black within 1 hour of each other. I called LG for their warranty and was basically told that the phones were either dropped or abused and would not be covered. My first impression of the phone was correct and I should have gone with my instinct instead of listening to the Cricket salesperson. It does not have the feel of an Iphone, the cover edges are rough, like it doesn't fit together properly, the touch screen feels thin. Our last phones were Motorola RAZRs that lasted about three years, they must have lasted so long from dropping them so much. My daughter and son-inlaw both have Huawei and have worked flawlessy for 2 months each. The LG Optimus is JUNK buyer beware.

I had a similar situation. The biggest problem concerns Cricket more so than LG. Cricket salespeople will tell you anything. Talk to three of them, and you will get four different answers. Managers are even worse. They specifically lied to me on three occasions about my account (change over from Pocket) and phone upgrades. There is no recourse.

LG Electronics installation

Hi,
I bought LG split AC 3KR2 on 7th April, 2011 from Electronics Paradise North Exclusive LG shop at E-57, Vikas Marg, Luxmi Nagar and the invoice number is VM/R-109.
The company sent the engineer to install, but the engineer was so arrogant. I asked to install the AC on the different wall but he fitted it on the other wall wherever he wished and he charged me Rs. 880 including the service tax Rs. 81.
When i complaint him for the same, he assured me that he can reinstall it anytime without any cost if i face any issue.
But now i am facing problem with my AC because the engineer installed the AC's wire in the way of ventilator and the rat has chewed that wire as i was afraid of and this is why i was asking him to fit the AC on the other wall so that the wire can go to other way.
When i called the LG customer service for this issue, they said that they will resolve it but did not send any engineer in the last two days.
After two days and so many phone calls, when the engineer came this evening, he said that it will cost me RS. 1000/- .
I refused him to give a single penny as it was not my fault. I was given wrong information by the engineer. I already made the complaint and the number for the same is RNA [protected].
Kindly look into the issue and resolve it as soon as possible.

Sir,

Sub: Complaint regarding faulty service.
This is to draw your kind attention in the following lines that I have purchased a LG semi automatic top loading washing machine Model: WP 9241, serial #: W64N503IL025217, from your authorised vendor at KONNOGAR, HOOGHLY, on 29.08.05. It worked satisfactorily till 2010.
On 13.12.10, I contacted your service centre to arrange to change one lint collector net as it has torn. On 15.12.10 your service engineer showed up and supplied two pieces of net filter @ Rs.30/- and charged a service charge + service tax (10.3%) of Rs.221/-.
Within 4(four) months of your Life’s Good service the water from the washing drum started draining out automatically and washing could not be done due to most of detergent water drained out without soaking. So, on 13.04.11 I registered a complaint (RNA [protected]) on urgent basis. On 14.04.11, I again made a reminder. Lastly on 15.04.11, your service engineer showed up and changed the Bellow charging Rs.66/- and again for your Life’s Good service Rs 221/-.
Unfortunately during his visit I was out stationed for my job but while the job was finished, I contacted your engineer Mr. Sourav Das of NORTHERN SERVICE 73, G.T.Road, Mallickpara, serampore, PIN 712203, to check if any problem is still there, he responded that everything was fine working.
Astonishingly today on 17.04.11, when I washed and opened the drain switch the machine started leaking at the bottom and my drawing room was flooded with inch deep water. Previously problem was water was draining out of the drain hose now on opening the drain switch water is passing both from the hose and also from the bottom.
May I know if there is any ill motive? Again customer will contact the service cell and again a service charge of Rs 221/- for LIFE’S GOOD service? Again the complainant will wait for your mercy till 72 hours?
Kindly do the needful at your earliest to save me from my flooded condition.

LG Electronics almost one month has passed and service has not happened warranty

It has been almost one month since I called Leons at their warranty phone number. Not only that as I live in AB I had to wait till the next day to connect with them as their office closes at 5 o' clock ES time in Toronto. I called them in Yoronto a few days later as I never heard from the people who do the warranty work, which Leons ststed they would call me.. I also called the store in Edmonton asking them to call Artic Holdings the warranty fixers. Still no call from the repair people, I called them myself, we made a time for the repairs which was today 11 Apr for the hours of between 3PM and 5 Pm, at 4Pm I called them and asked if they would be here. The response I got was she could'nt reach the person by phone, needless to say they never showed up and no call as to the reason he did not come. It would be hard for me to go to a pay laundry as I am unable to walk a distance or to carry a heavy load. I have a months laundry to do and am running out of towels and clothing. I think the best bet is not to buy from Leons as the warranty you pay extra for is unreliable. The more people I talked to the more run around I got, I would think that it would be in LLeons favor to have some one else that is reliable to do their warranty work!

LG Electronics holes in clothes, now black large spots

I bought new washer and dryer. After removing clothes from dryer I have holes in various items. Price of damaged clothes are a lot more than price of high priced dryer. There should be a class action suit on these LG products, for I have seen a lot of this complaint on the internet. I do not believe these excuses. I know for a fact that it is the dryer. Now there is some type of oil or other product also in spots, on a pillow, on a cover for a pillow. Aren't the holes enough? I have never had a problem with a dryer in some 40 years (electric). And I have had nothing but problems from this Conns and the merchandise I have bought from them. Beware of their products for they may be out of date, and damaged as I have experienced. Their installation, and service are even worse if they can get worse.

I am having same problem every shirt is coming out with holes .Brand new clothes, hundreds of dollars worth of clothing ruined . I believe its the screen in the back of drum inside. If you rub your hand over it, it's so rough it will cut you finger on top of being hot when you run dryer.Clothes are getting torn on that .

We too are having issues! We have had multiple clothing items from new to older shirts... but the same result 3-4 small holes in various locations with our LG front loader. I read people saying that it is something with daily routine, something near the washer/dryer... not a chance! Too broad a spectrum of an issue and I'm really sick of this happening to my families clothing, it has ruined expensive dress shirts to the average t-shirt - not all of which is knit like some have had, we have cotton t's and knit collared and it happens to it all. The only thing that has been safe so far are my pants (khaki, dress, denim). If anyone has some info on a class action law suit against LG, I'm in, actually thought about contacting my local attorney friend to have him write a letter on my behalf to start the ball rolling.

LG Electronics panel error from manufacture

I have bought an 37LG5000 LCD tv. After 2 years, we noticed that the vision on screen divides into pieces .We called the technical services and they informed that the reason of the problem is the manufacturing error in the panel. It is not possible to repair the panel and to buy a new panel costs same with a brand new LCD tv. Warranty period is 2 years but the problem is a manufacturing error. So it means that the error occured before expiry of the warranty period. Supplier company (TEKNOSA) refuses to change or to repair it. Does it mean that the product life for an LG LCD TV is 2 years. What is the logic in warranty.? If it is obvious that the error is a factory mistake, what type of warranty is this? KORAY KARAKAŞ [protected]@hotmail.com

LG Electronics worst service from lg, after 1 week of purchase of washing machine still not installed

Hi,

i have purchased the LG washing machine (LG F1056LDP) on 31st March 2011, till date it’s not installed .

i have called customer care several times . Below is the list of complain ids.

Almost every day i am calling the customer care . but the service center guy is cancelling the compain saying no not reachable, i have set missed call allert .

these people are simply cheating ..this hopless attitude towards customer making me frustrated .

I got the local service centre no [protected], Maria service centre in charge no [protected] from customer care no .

I tried several times, But no luck .

I don’t know when they will install it. After 24*7 hours has passed ..this Most irresponsible attitude towards customer . Today is the 7th day . There is no proper escalation system also in place . Worst ever customer service i have faced .

Same day i purchased the Samsung refrigerator it was installed within 24 hours, where as LG still i am struggling to get it installed . Worst part is till now i didn't receive a single call from these people .

LG Electronics service not proper

This mail from P.Varadarajan, IT Officer, Engineers India Limited (A Govt of India Undertaking-under Ministry of Petroleum), Thalamuthu Natarajan Building, No.1 Gandhi Irwin Salai, CMDA Building, 5th Floor, Egmore, Chennai - 600 008, Tamilnadu.

We would like to bring to your kind notice that we had lodged a complaint on 1.5 Ton LG Make A/C Conditioner on 22.03.2011 to your Authorized Service Partner M/s Ganpath Electronics, 61/27, Arunachalam Street, Puraswalkam, Chennai - 600 007. After a gap of 10 days they have taken the unit from our premises on 31.03.2011 and they have brought the unit on 06.04.2011 only. After installation the unit is not functioning upto our expectation and in turn the reasons are so many from them. Apart from this, they are demanding to pay the charges immediately without making the Unit functional.

You will appreciate that being a PSU Company and the present A/C installed in Server Room (which needs 24 hours coolingness to take care of our Servers, PCs & other peripherals) should take care of the Servers & other PCs.

We have also carried out the gas filling on 21.01.2011 vide their submission of Invoice No.3687 dt 21.01.2011 and whereas the cooling output has not happened. They have done gas filling without arresting the leakage from indoor unit. The payment for this gas filling has already been paid to the vendor on 21.01.2011. But the problem still persists.

ON installation of A/C Unit on 06.04.2011, the problem in the A/c is still encountered as per details below :-

1. Still Coolingness is not taking place.
2. While taking the Unit, the indoor drain tray was in working condition, but after bringing back the unit to our office, the drain tray was found to be broken. This has been broken in view of poor handling of M/s Ganpath Electronics.
3. Leaving all these factors aside, your partner is demanding the payments immediately from us.

You are aware that Engineers India Limites is a PSU Company and most of our Clients viz., ONGC, IOC, BPCL, HPCL, IBP etc., are valuable customers and our turn over is Rs.2000 Crores PA. Whereas your company does not rely on us and expect us to settle the payments that too without making the unit functional.

Though ours is a Govt Company, we would normally make payments to all our Customers, Vendors & Clients in time.

Keeping all the factors in mind, kindly depute / instruct your authorised partner to take care of the A/C which is still not functional. We assure you that we will make payments as per our normal Co's procedure.

LG Electronics led tv blanked out

Hi,

My LG TV's picture has blanked out and all I have is sound. Have a world cup final tomorrow, and I had spent so much to enjoy the world cup matches on my LED. I registered a complaint on Thursday, and LG sent a customer service technician and he said that a part in the power supply box would need to be replaced (within 1.5 months of purchasing the TV!). I heard from no one today, and when I called up the customer care I found out that the customer service had closed the request without solving my problem! I cant tell you how frustrated I am with LG at this point. I will not be able to enjoy my world cup final despite spending a bomb on this TV.

I can only keep my fingers crossed that I will hear from someone tomorrow morning and that my TV would start working.

Thank you LG for making my world cup final miserable.

LG Electronics dryer sheets

I purchased an LG dryer in February 2011 (barely 6wks ago). Had to have a service man out y'day because the dryer was making a terrible rumbling noise when I used it. Apparently the dryer sheets were somehow finding their way down inside the drum of the dryer and getting caught and binding the dryer parts. The service man told me his dryer had the same problem twice with dryer sheets (as well as socks) and then presented me with a $149 repair bill ! It was our fault the dryer broke - no a manufacturer problem he said. APPARENTLY the manufacturer DOES have a problem. How on earth do dryer sheets and socks escape the inside of the dryer? And for the service man to tell me he's had the same issue? I called Home Depot (where I purchased the dryer) and was told they've had other customers complain of the same problem...Home Depot offered to split the cost of the repair with me. Home Depot should not be responsible for the repair bill - nor should I! I filed a complaint with LG this morning...let's see if they are willing to stand behind their product!

Please do not buy and LG product. The products are overpriced, (Even at Home Depot) and there shelf life on a durable good is about 3 to 5 years, where as a Maytag appliance last for over 20 years. In addtion, thier customer service is terrible, and they just don't care that you spent thousands of dollars on thier products. If something happens outside the warranty, you are screwed.

The complaint is simple: this stupid dryer will not dry clothes. After endless hours of restarting the drying cycle and many service calls I am on my way to the store to buy a different brand dryer. I will never buy another LG product EVER!

Our LG dryer drum split at the weld seam at around 2 years of use. It is a DLE8377. These drums are defective and a recall / class action needs to be initiate, PLEASE. We still have it and can send a picture, if needed.

LG Electronics fake prices

We went to leons to purchase new stainless appliances. The fridge i wanted was priced at 999.00. however they said they didnt have any in the back only the floor model but would knock off 50.00. 5 mins later the sales guy came back and said oh i guess we have one left in the back and by the way the fridge price is wrong it 1299.99. but we will sell it to you for 1199.99 the floor model. The fridge should be sold for what the price says on it. this is false advertising. we left the store at closing time returned the next morning to purchase the fridge in the back we were the first people in the store as the doors opened and the sales guy said the fridge sold already all that is left is the floor model for 1199.99. Not even possible we were given the run around and completely lied to. when i called head office they told me my complaint about the manager and that store had to be told to the manager of the store what a joke he is the problem are you kidding me. i will never deal with leons and hope no one else ever does!

LG Electronics washer is not what I like

"my life is not so good" when buying this lg (Lifes good) washer, I had really thought it would be a good washer. It has some features on it that I do like, but when I used it to wash my laundry, it was not what I wanted any more. But I think that I was stuck with it anyways since we bought it 200 or more miles away & was just not very happy lugging the big machine back. One of my first complaints about this washer is the "load sensing" feature, it spins the laundry around so darn hard when it first starts up & after spinning water out, that it has torn two different items of mine (Blouse & towel). This "load sensing"feature also distributes the laundry in an uneven manner, that when the washer fills up, starts agitating & goes into spin cycle it is so off balance that the washer makes tons of noise (do have it balanced right) I have got to rearrange laundry to even it out again but then it just does the same thing again & again, leaving me with no choice but to just let washer do the thing, that lg.co. Designed it to do. Another feature I do not like is, washer will not fill up with hot water, only warm (Yes connection is right). Have to turn cold water off, just to make sure only hot water goes in & I have adjusted water flow for this problem but seem to have no avail, other than turn cold off. Then have to make sure to turn it back on when in rinse cycle. Washer also will not let me open lid when filling up with water, "I hate that" might be a safety feature if you've got children or whatever, but I would rather it had a lock or not if preferable, for us grown ups who need to open up washer for one reason or another while it is filling up. Soaking whites overnight is something that I do prefer to do when I wash whites only. Washer will not let me do that. It wants to drain water after about 10 minutes that I turn washer off, not letting me soak my whites overnight. When calling lg for assistance & help, they had no answers for me, just wanted to send someone out to look at washer for any faults it could have. I refused, I am not going to spend good money on a service call, to let them tell me, nothing is wrong with their washer. I know, that I have a big problem with their washer, "I do not like some of it's features, they're so, not, what I want or like". But I am stuck with it now, right? Why can't all of these companies, just take a consumers complaint about their sorry a — product & make a better working product for us all so we can be satisfied with what we have spent our good hard working money on?.

LG Plasma Televisions...BEWARE !
For anyone considering purchasing any LG plasma television, please read this very carefully. My name is William Abbate. I had a very horrible experience with LG. I spent nearly $5000 on a 50PY2DR set. Within 2 years of use, if you want to even call it that, it was broken. Keep in mind that I own numerous televisions and, this set was barely even used. I contacted LG with my concern and, they offered to pay for the part/parts and I would foot the bill for the service. Naturally, they chose the cheapest way out and only replaced the Y-board. Shortly after this horrific experience, after my floors were scratched to hell, low and behold...the television was broken again. This time it was outside of the warranty period. LG recommended one of their repair places near our home in Greenwich, CT. The technician was kind and astute enough to inform me that an improper repair was done originally which caused the tv to brake again. Both boards were suppossed to be replaced, not one. LG figured they would take the cheap way out. I would have to come back to them in the future when my tv broke again in a short period of time. DO NOT deal with this company. They are NOT REPUTABLE. Their customer service agents in Huntsville, AL are idiots with barely a pulse. I WOULD NEVER, EVER purchase one of their products ever again. In fact, I wouldn't even take one for free. They DO NOT care about customer retention. They are merely interested with making an initial sale. Bottom Line: Their products are subpar...in fact, they suck ! Management should review their customer experiences. I understand that the Koreans really do not care about customer retention. Their interest lies only in making a sale. BEWARE ! LG Electronics noise

We purchased a lg tv on Feb 26 ;king size mattress set;a tv stand and a chair for our granddaaughter, the mattress was ripped and the box springs were falling apart, this is how they were delivered.Called the brick and new ones were delivered in a couple days.Next day sound went on tv;called and a new one was delivered a few days later.Same problem;returned to store ourselves ended up getting a NEW Sony 40 lcd'it was not new had been returned by someone else .Also got a new a home theater;not new it had been returned and someone had left their dvd in it;two of the ends were broken;when I called they said that we had bought as is;BS I had them right on bill that it was not a AS IS ITEMS.Called and they assured me they would get right back to me, that was two days ago.We are tempted and prob will take everything we purchased back !NEVER AGAIN !

LG Electronics replacement

We purchased LG refrigerator (model No.245FFDG5) at Khammam, Andhra Pradesh, India on 13th October, 2010. Very next day, compressor get repair. We gave complaint at shop. They replaced with another one. But, it was also defective. It was got swetting from three sides and top. Again we gave complaint number of times orally. We went so many times to the Shop and Customer Service Centre of LG at Khammam and talk with Toll Free number of LG Electronics. Somebody coming and looking and going. But, no body giving any reply. Somebody saying, we cann't replace second time. Even they are not trying to repair. They said that, this is a major problem. Even after 5 months, problem was not settled by the company. Hence, please try to solve this problem

LG Electronics tv on standby

i gave my LG TV, at the place A-11, Lawrence rd, lahore, Pakistan, for the problem, , that the Tv went on standby, , , n it does nt get alright now.. the service cente, , took my Tv for 4 months ..n they still have it ; n they are not responding to the complaint.itz such a lousy response from LG people.
Caution for readers: i recommend, do not buy any product from LG company/ after sales service n response is pathetic.
