I have contacted them numerous times over the past 48 hours about 2 dresses I want to return. I received a ticket number but no information about return address. All they want to do is offer me 10 percent refund.
I do not want the dresses as they do not fit I contacted them the same day the dresses arrived so well in time for returns period

I am an artist selling my artworks online. Last year I discovered that Light in the Box stole one of my paintings and made 521 copies of it and sold them on their website without paying me royalties or asking my permission. Or mentioning my name! They even used my own photos from my website to sell it as theirs . I sent them letters asking for royalties they never ever replied. To date they owe me over £3500 in royalties! Fraudulent company, stay away!

I bought some clothes from this company and although I ordered small they were massively oversized and did not fit. They make it sound so easy to be able to return and refund but once you have paid, processing took almost a month and the returns rubbish!

I spent £180 on clothes. All my items were of terrible quality, so different from the images. I requested a refund and supplied photos. I have emailed 6 times so far to get a refund and no progress. Customer Services keep telling me I will have to pay for the cost of returning the items in advance and offer me discount on the items instead. I have had 3 different discount offers. Each time I tell them I do not want a discount, I want full refund and how can I return. I am still trying to get a response. I think the best response, looking at other reviews, will be that the give me the return details and I pay for expense return postage ...and then get no refund. How do we stop this company conning so many people out of their money?

My wife bought me two sweatshirts but when they arrived they were the wrong size (the 40 inch chest is at least 44 and the sleeves are short). We live in the UK and they were shipped from the UK. When we asked for a return they replied that they would have to be sent to China (where they were manufactured) at our cost or they would give us a 10 % discount and we could keep the garments. This is just the most dishonest and dishonourable company to deal with. I do not recommend dealing with them in any way and intend to post my experience on every platform I can

Returns are impossible
I chatted with a rep online who told me I was able to order my clothing choices in both possible sizes and create tickets to return the pieces that didn't fit. Once I received them I sent tickets with pics of each item I want to return. The company has STILL not accepted my requests to return items, but rather has returned each of my tickets (which are NOT easy or quick to create) saying they were duplicates (which they were not) and offered to refund me 30% for it. :( If I just bought over $300 of mostly poorly made, cheap knock offs of the photos they use to advertise their styles and I can't recover any of it I will be sure no one i know ever trusts Light in the Box.

If you plan to be able to make returns, DO NOT order from this company. They have it all figured out how to take your money and not accept returns regardless of their policies listed on their website. DO NOT TRUST THEM. The garment I received was a load of cheap 'put together rubbish' and NOTHING like the pictures advertising the goods I wanted. None of the sizes suggested on their website will work for North American people. Even the suggested measurements they tell you to use on their website. These suggested measurements are done on Chinese men, with narrow shoulders, short stature, and fat. None of the items I ordered fit me. And I used their website suggestions. These Chinese pukes need to understand that North American men are TALL, WITH BROAD SHOULDERS. The Jacket I order was XXL, and it just doesn't fit. I took the jacket to a tailor, and the guy told me that my size should have been 5 times (XXXXXL) in order to fit my broad shoulders. Over two hundred dollars were thrown in the garbage with this [censored]ing, fraudulent, company, country, and people.
I will report this fraudulent company to the BBB, and all other major scam alert protection companies here in the USA to keep people alert and OFF YOUR SITES.

Quality of product, deceptive and fraudulent business practices
I ordered items on March 29th and paid $71.30 rapid shipping cost and received order on April 25th. Tried to process returns for items and not able to get any help from this company. They offered 15% of what paid, are they out of their mind? Now I can't get any response from them and after 2 days the return tickets are closed. There is no shipping address or label in or outside of the box so I do not know where I can ship to.

Online purchase of Lamps
On March the 4th we bought 1000 USD worth of lamps for our house.
Today end of april we have not received anything. They keep asking for patience and all communication is via the platform or email. They have no escalation system so it is simply always the same.

Weeks after have ordered / purchased two shorts on this website I received a email from the seller that my items have been out of stock because of high demands and the seller would organise a different manufacture to make me a similar product as possible. As a result of that the seller informed me that my order will arrive much later as planned.
However this wasn’t mentioned to me before I lodged the purchase order online instead I receive a confirmation that my items have been shipped and processed already.
I have tried to contact the seller to express my disappointment and ask for a full refund of my purchased price as I wish not to continue with the purchase of a product which I haven’t seen or ordered originally, but no response.
I just can’t believe it that this seller is getting away with such a activity, but now I found out about many complaints about this chinese business and wonder “what a scam “.
Dress of poor quality and wrong size
I ordered a dress for my daughter. It cost me $145.
When it arrived, we discovered that the size was completely wrong despite us taking exact measurements as instructed on the seller’s website. Additionally, the quality was extremely inferior to what we expected for the money. The fabric was dull and looked like cheap curtains. All the seams were sloppy with threads hanging down everywhere and the dress bottom was unevenly cut to the point where it looked like someone tried to trim it in a hurry.
We decided to return. And the saga started. They offered us 20% discount and already typical - just gift it to someone solution. I insisted on return and refund. It took two weeks to get a return address from them. The dress was shipped back. It has been two months now. I can see by tracking that it is in Beijing but still no refund or updates. Instead they conveniently closed my ticket as resolved.
I tried to enlist PayPal to help to get a refund. Little did I know that PayPal has a horrible reputation with Customer Service as well.
So here we are - exactly two months later. My money is gone.
Save your time do not trust these online sellers.
Buy in the store where you can try it on and see for what it is.
Lightinthebox is definitely not the place for satisfying shopping experience. Stay away.

Cheap clothing; difficult return process
I ordered from Light In the Box. It took weeks for the products to arrive. The clothes are not as advertised; they are cheaply made, poorly sewn, and do not look like the pictures at all. I emailed a request to return all four items. After several emails back and forth trying to convince me to just take a 30% credit I demanded my money back. Instead of being able to return the items to the shipping address in NY they told me I needed to return to CHINA, which is a small fortune, and I would only receive a portion of it back. They do not care about the consumer and swindle you into thinking you’re receiving quality products as shown on their website and when you don’t you can’t do anything about it. I’m out $73.73. DO NOT purchase from Light In the Box. Cheap crap you cannot return. False advertising.

Trying to return an order
Trying to return an order which won’t fit even though I filled the sizing requirements. I’m going round and round in circles on the website. No phone contact or email address to write to. I certainly won’t be ordering ANYTHING from these people again. I ordered cycling shirts from Light In The Box. They did not fit and so I returned them at a cost that was half of what the shirts cost. I expected a refund, but instead was given a credit towards future purchases. I resolved to not deal with them again. Then today I received an email from them stating that my account had been inactive for more than a year, and if I did not login within the next ten days I would be charged a $1 administrative fee for each month to be deducted from my credit. This company is totally unscrupulous, refusing to issue a refund and then keeping my money and threatening to use it for their administrative fees.

They did the same to me. I had ordered some shirts and Jackets, but even when using the measurements on their website, still, they won't fit any man here in the USA. We are men of broad shoulders, and the measurements they have is for tiny Chinese men with narrow shoulders, short, and fat. Then I tried to return it, and they told me it was going to cost more, than receiving a 20% discount on my next purchase. The problem here is that they charge so much for delivery, plus taxes, plus insurance, that whatever you buy is actually less than the shipment charges... Bought two bikinis they came up very small, I’m an 8uk I ordered a medium and a large neither fitted both very very small. Very difficult returns policy and eventually had my return validated, only to find they said I had to return the goods to China! The cost was more than the goods, so they said they would only give me 10% of my £49 back. I’m disgusted and will be reporting this to trading standards, and any other body or tv program I can.
