Lincare Holdings review: cpap supply/rental

I was diagnosed with sleep apnea and prescribed a cpap, which was sent to lincare in Fairfield, maine. Was told I needed to pay 157 dollars a month rental fee for my insurance copay, and they needed to receive the first payment before the would ship the machine to my address. I would be renting the machine anywhere from 6 to 8 months untill the total cost of the machine was paid.Since the cost was substantial I told them it would have to wait until after the holidays, at which point I was told it would be more after the new year because I would have to meet my deductible. Come January I was told the payment had increased to close to 270$. I said forget it. The average cost of a cpap is 800$ the most expensive one I could find was 1700$ the model they would be renting me was about 800 online

. So exactly how much are you charging me. I have a 100$ yearly deductible after which I pay 20% until I meet a 2000$ max out of pocket. Math is telling me you charge about 800$ a month to rent a machine an
