I ordered a stylus for a turntable that someone gave me
I ordered a stylus for a turntable that someone gave me. I ordered what I thought was the right part.
After a week or so of delayed contact, a conscientious employee contacted me. They showed me what I really needed, and the parts came within a week. Constant communication with me was helpful because I didn't know what I was doing. After installing the proper parts, the turntable works well.
I wanna say, their service is good, no complaints.

Audio-technica at-art7 cartridge from lp-gear
I paid $981 plus shipping for the Audio-Technica AT-ART7 cartridge from LP-Gear. When I received the package, some part was loose in the sealed package. When I opened the package, the cartridge and projector cartridge were hanging out in the box. The cartridge was hanging around the box and the needle scratched the entire box and the needle was damaged...

On 01/22, I ordered a *** 2100 cartridge from LPGear online
On 01/22, I ordered a *** 2100 cartridge from LPGear online. Unfortunately, the cartridge turned out to be defective as there was a constant hum in the right channel. I tried reaching out to the vendor multiple times, but I didn't receive a timely response. It's quite frustrating that LPGear doesn't provide a phone number for customer support, only a web entry form on their contact page. I left three messages, but nobody has bothered to return my call or offer a replacement or refund for the damaged product. It's really disappointing that an online store wouldn't take immediate action to rectify such an issue. It's been three weeks now, and I still haven't heard anything from LPGEAR.
I bought this thing called a turntable cartridge from LP Gear on 9/18
I bought this thing called a turntable cartridge from LP Gear on 9/18. They sent it to me on 9/22, but guess what? It didn't work with my turntable. So, I hit up LP Gear on 10/5 to tell them about the problem and ask for a return. I did everything they said I had to do to start the return, but they haven't replied to any of my emails since then. I even sent another email and tried calling the number I found online, but no response.
I bought 2 turntable belts from LP Gear's website on 12/19
I bought 2 turntable belts from LP Gear's website on 12/19. The order number is XXXXXX. I used my credit card and paid $48.88, which showed up on my credit card statement. But, man, they sent me the wrong belts! Like, totally not the right size at all. So, on 12/27, I emailed them about the problem. They told me to measure the belt I needed and send them the deets, which I did right away on 12/29 by email. They also told me to send back the wrong belts, so I did that too on 12/29 through USPS. The tracking number is XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX. The package got delivered to LP Gear on 12/31. But, dude, since then, I've been trying to get in touch with them, like, multiple times, but they haven't replied at all. I just want my money back, you know? Any help would be super appreciated. Thanks, man.
The company sent me the wrong product or a broken one
The company sent me the wrong product or a broken one. They wouldn't give me a refund or help me with tech stuff. I bought a new stylus that they said would fit my *** cartridge, but it didn't. Customer service took forever to get back to me and didn't offer any tech support. They wanted pictures of the product, so I sent them. I didn't hear from them for more than a week. When I finally asked for a refund, they suddenly replied saying they wouldn't give it because they said the stylus was damaged. I've been using hifi/stereo stuff for 30 years, and this product isn't damaged. It's just the wrong size for my cartridge. They obviously don't know what they're doing and are blaming me for their mistakes.
They messed up my order big time!
They messed up my order big time! I went on the *** website all excited to get my hands on a specific product, but what do they do? They send me *** instead! Like, seriously? That's not even close to what I wanted. And get this, it took them a whopping 5 weeks to deliver the wrong thing to me. So, I reached out to them, asking them to either send me the right product ASAP or give me a refund. But guess what their brilliant solution was? They told me to send back the wrong product on my own dime and then they'll send me the right one. Um, excuse me? This is not my mistake, so why should I pay for their mess-up? And on top of that, I'm not about to wait for weeks for them to receive the wrong thing and then wait another 5 weeks for the right thing to finally arrive. I've asked them twice how they plan on paying for the return of the incorrect product, but they've conveniently ignored me (January 12th and 13th, to be exact). I demand that they take responsibility, cover the cost of returning their mistake, and refund my credit card for the full amount I paid.
They say they only got the stylus I bought from them, even though I sent my old stylus and cartridge too
They say they only got the stylus I bought from them, even though I sent my old stylus and cartridge too. I got a new stylus for my turntable, but it wasn't right. They said to send it back with my old cartridge and stylus so they could find the right one. They gave me a label to send it back. I wrapped my old stylus/cartridge in bubble wrap and taped it. Then I wrapped it with more bubble wrap and put it in the box they sent me. I also wrote a note explaining what they told me and put it in a sleeve in the box. When they got the package, they emailed me saying they only got the stylus I bought from them, not my old stylus and cartridge. I know I put my old stuff in the box for sure. They either accidentally threw it away or kept it. They said they would refund me for the stylus I bought, but nothing about my old stylus and cartridge.
LP Gear ain't giving me the replacement I asked for
LP Gear ain't giving me the replacement I asked for. I bought this thing called SHSV15IIIHE LP Gear VN35VL (HE) stylus for Shure V15 Type III cartridge (Order No. ***) from LP Gear on November 28, 2022. It cost me $121.41. When I got it, I realized it was messed up, so on December 8, 2022, I told LP Gear I wanted a replacement. On December 9, 2022, *** from LP Gear gave me a RMA number (RMA # ***s) so I could send the stylus back to them. I mailed it on December 12, 2022, using *** tracking to see when it got delivered. According to ***, it was delivered on December 17, 2022. But LP Gear hasn't said anything about it. So on December 30, 2022, I emailed them asking for an update, and again on January 4, 2023. But they still haven't responded or given me the replacement I want. This ain't right. LP Gear better give me a working replacement or my money back.
I got a problem with LP Gear, man
I got a problem with LP Gear, man. They sent me the wrong product, and I can't get a hold of them at all. I've been trying to reach out through email and fax, but they ain't responding. It's been three weeks, and I hate to do it, but I might have to file a complaint. I ordered this stylus with my Christmas gift money, cost me a hundred bucks. But what did they send me? Some cheap $32 version. Can you believe that? I checked the website forum, and other folks got the same wrong stylus too. I even compared the packaging, man. It's clear as day that they messed up. I've been sending them emails every week, but they ain't saying nothing back. Meanwhile, they're still shipping stuff out to other people. It's messed up, you know? They take your money and send you the wrong thing, and then they don't even try to fix it. That ain't right, man. And on top of that, they sent me a cheaper product. It's just not cool.
I got my stuff from LP Gear but they're messed up
I got my stuff from LP Gear but they're messed up. They ain't responding to my refund request. I ordered some spare parts for my AT727 Turntable on January 5th. My Order ID is XXXXXX and it cost me $98.08. Here's what I ordered: - *** Sound *** AT *** turntable belts - 1 - $29.80 - *** - LP Gear *** stylus for *** cartridge - 1 - $29.95 - Shipping costs to France - $38.33 I got the stuff on January 19th and I'm really unhappy. The little belt is too thick compared to the original one. So it don't fit right in the pulleys. Both belts are too small compared to the original, especially the smaller one. So the motor is struggling and the speed drops from 33 1/3 to 30 1/2. The stylus is garbage quality. The sound ain't clear, it tracks poorly, and it skips. I got some pictures attached to show you (LP Gear belts are on the right side of the picture). Also, check out these YouTube videos I made to show you how bad the LP Gear stylus is: - Sound *** with *** Original Stylus => *** - Sound *** with LP Gear Replacement Stylus => *** I chose LP Gear 'cause I wanted good quality parts. It wasn't an easy choice 'cause it cost me almost $100 with the $39 shipping. I was expecting to get my money's worth, but that ain't the case. - On January 20th, I tried to contact LP Gear through their website to ask for a return and refund. No response. - On January 22nd, I sent an email to ***@***.com for the same reason. No response. - On January 25th, I sent an email to ***@***.com and ***@lpgear.com like it said on the delivery slip. No response. - On January 27th, I even sent a fax. Still no response.
On August 9, I ordered a new needle from LP Gear
On August 9, I ordered a new needle from LP Gear. I paid a total of $44.93, including tax. My order number was #XXXXXX. I got an email called "Order Confirmation" to confirm everything. When the needle arrived on August 11, I saw that it was broken. I have a photo to prove it. I sent an email to LP Gear to let them know about the problem. I attached the photo and asked for a replacement needle. The next morning, on August 12, I got a reply saying that I couldn't get a refund, return, or replacement because of LP Gear's return policy. They said that all needles are checked before they are sent out, and that I must have broken it myself. They even sent me a link to their return policy. According to the policy, I can't get a refund if the company has checked the item and thinks I broke it. But they never checked my item. Since it arrived broken, it should be eligible for a return without any fees. I have the return policy documents to prove it. LP Gear has been really disrespectful by not taking responsibility for sending me a broken needle. In a capitalist society, it's up to consumers to make sure companies like this are held accountable for selling broken stuff and blaming their customers. I want a refund according to their return policy, and I want them to waive any fees because of the trouble they caused me. LP Gear should also be investigated for their contradictory and shameful actions.
