Hello sir.. My self kiran akhani.. I have a hyundai accent and I listened about true value of maruti suzuki.. Coz I wish to change my car, I visited tanu motors, palanpur - banaskantha who is authorised dealer of maruti suzuki.. They saw my car.. And told me to come with them to a broker directly.. My 1st question is if maruti company also dependable on broker? And after discussing with broker, I came to know that they have kept too much margin in this value.. So.. My question is in which way this called "true value"? My father is a president of north gujarat of consumer protection and action commitee. But before I inform him, I would like your help.. So, please could you help me in this? I think this is one type of broking buiseness, with the name of maruti.. Could we trust on the name 'maruti suzuki now? Please take action as soon as possible.. improper service causing permenant damge to car
Dear Sir,
I had purchased a maruti swift VDI-ABS car on 10/1/2008 and I had taken extended warranty also. The car was given for routeine service at 30, 000 KM to Popular Automobiles, Killipalam, Trivandrum. They returned the car the next day evening and I parked the car in my car porch. The next day I found a pool of oil below the car. y son an Automobile engineer examined and found that the opil had leaked from the drain nut. There was a sharp cut in the crank case adjacent to the drain hole probably caused by sharp chisel used for removing the drain nut. A new flower nut was put which was also tightened with improper tools. I telephonically contacted the dealer and their response was unsatisfactory. So my son used a file to make the drain hole regular and used additional washers to control the leak and he had to put in additional 2.5 litres synthetic oil to top up.(Each litre costing Rs:950/-). Even though the damage is temporarily corrected the permenant remedy is replacing the crank case with a new one. I request your urgent attention to redress my grievences including payment for the lost oil and inconvenience caused to me which may be charged to the dealer. I also request you to take steps to see that proper service be given to valuable maruti customers.

Sub - Complaint against Maruti and Competent Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi
I have booked a car - Maruti Swift Dzire (Silver VXI) on 18-03-2010 (Receipt No.- 4637, Allot No.- 0895-D-L00766, Cheque No - 005401, Union Bank of India, Pahargang, Rs25000/-). I was promised to deliver the car within 2 months of booking so I started following up after 1.5 months. The loan of Rs2.5 lakhs was sanctioned by 27 May, 2010 (Can be verified from HDFC bank associated with Lajpath Nagar). We were promised to get the delivery on 29 May. We visited the showroom and met the Manager Mr MM Joshi and he informed that they do not have any stock still we need to wait for 2-3 months.
The loan is valid for 1 month and they were asking to wait for another 2 months or cancel the booking (costumer harassment started right from here). After constantly requesting he agreed to deliver the car in between 6-10 june. He gave the case to Mr Pawan #. Manager (Mob no - [protected]) who asked us to complete the formalities.
Since 6th June I have been following up with Mr Pawan to get the delivery, every time I call, I have to hear –Sir sorry we don’t have the stock, we have sent your car demand to maruti etc. No body in Competent is giving me present status of my booking. They simply say if you cant wait you can cancel the booking (Very harshly and filled with attitude). We have landed in a situation of begging for our car rather purchasing (Matter of shame for Maruti)
1) I want to ask Maruti about the status of my booking as of now and the date when the car will be delivered as I have a right it information against my booking. And in case they cant please give me in writing to cancel my booking.
2) If Maruti cannot fulfill the demand, they should not take booking.
3) Why Maruti is involving dealers to take booking which encourages black marketing (which is maximum during marriage season).
4) Why there is no centralized system of booking from Maruti to have a transparency in the system.
All this clearly shows that Maruti is also encouraging black marketing along with the dealers and taking undue advantage of the reliability of the name MARUTI.
Being a Maruti costumer from past 12 years I was having a faith which is now all shattered as I feel that Maruti is fluttering on its sales figures of may 2010 and are now least concern on costumer relationship.
MY DESIRE TO OWN A DZIRE HAS REALLY BECOME UNDESIRABLE!

hi this is vinayak bhosle having vehicle zen estilo MH-04-DN 2160, i service my vehicle at thane spectra motors but the service done by them was not satisfying the vehicle is still giving a jerk and misfiring, called up spectra motors at thane no response from their end and suddenly got a call from them after 3 days and was assured that they will send their technician but they dint its almost more then 25 days so please take a proper action and make the availabilty of the technician as soon as possible

I bought Swift Dezire Ldi on 24/08/2010. It was only 8001 Km when i faced the problem of Engine Noise, Poor Pick -up and Very low mileage (12kmp/lt).
I informed about this to our dealer at Yamuna Nagar M/s Pandit Automobiles. The reply at workshop was why you have bought this car from Bharatpur ie M/s T.M Motors. I said so what this means u will not provide me the services give this thing me in written on your company letter head then they said ok we will check it out...
Job Card No JC10000094 dated 03/04/2010. I was told that as there is Oil collected in the Inter Cooler. They cleaned up the Inter Cooler checked the noise. They assured me that this was an manufacturing fault that the oil was left there. as you will run your vehicle it will come into normal routine.
Again i visited with same problem on 21/05/2010 Job Card No JC [protected]. This time they accepted the problem that there is fault in the fuel injecters.As there were not having the injecters in the stock. They replaced it with the demo car and found the injecters are not working properly.
Instead of changing all ie 4 the changed only 2. When i said that why are u changing only two the reply was Bill bahut mota ban jayega hamare MD sir aur Engineer sahib pass nahin karege... What i reply from such a esteemed organisation...
And more over i was forced to buy extended warranty policy buy saying that sir aiysi problems future mein bhi aayegi yeh Diesel gadi hai. Contract No [protected]..
Still the position is the same it seams that we are driving a 1980 model tractor instead of Swift Dezire with very poor pick up.

Subsequently, I had sent my car on the 19th of May'09 after giving all the details of the jobs to be done. Sir, I stay in a remote place and it is not possible for me to come to korba every now n then. I am very very disappointed with the after sales service of yours authorized dealer. On 31st may 2010 and on 1st june I was told that the "ecm" of m y car has a fault but wat fault they did not gave in written.
And service station person to whom I was in contact mr. khan told me that "ecm" will not be covered under warranty.
This is very dissappointing from maruti.
I would suggest to provide me the valid details and warranty of my "ecm"

We have been facing problem in break & engine abnormal noise especially from january 2010. this problem has been told a number of times to the service centres but has not yet been solved till date. according to service station engineers this problem is in 90% swift vehicles, but, we are not accepting the same and this has to be resolved as early as possible.

Let me first introduce myself, I Sanal Jagdishan, working as a Senior Application Engineer in Leica Geosystems AG and Placed at regional office in Trivandrum, Kerala. Sir I have been using Maruthi Car since last 5 years, first I owed an Alto then I Upgraded it to Wagon R in exchange in January 2009.
Now when the new Wagon R VXI was released I decided it to again upgrade the old vehicle with the new one. So I approach your dealer in Kerala Popular Motors as these were the people from whom I purchased both of my old cars. I booked the car on 10th of May 2010 with a commitment that the car will be delivered within 20 days and gave me a tentative date as May 28th. During this commitment I specifically told them that my parents are out stationed from Kerala and they are arriving to Kerala for vacation, so I need the vehicle at that time as I have a physically challenged sister and we have to travel some places. I had told them that if you have any doubt in delivery date, then I will postpone the purchase to next month once my parents go back after vacation. These people said they will 100 % do the delivery on time. So on 13th May 2010 Rs 3, 26, 000/- was deposited from HDFC Bank . Again on 24th May 2010 I surrendered my old car to True Value and the total on road price payment was done, now after receiving the full payment, they are saying that they don’t have vehicle and it will take 1 to 1.5 months for delivery. Now this is cheating!, if they had told me before I would have bought the car afterwards.
I called up your Maruthi Area office in Trivandrum yesterday and lodged a verbal complaint, they committed that person from dealer side will give a call, yes I received a call saying that he will call after two days. One Mr Suresh from your Area office in Trivandrum tried to call me yesterday evening but I was out of coverage, when I got the missed call alert I called back to him, he said he was on some other call and will call me back, but unfortunately he didn’t till now. I called up to him this afternoon some other gentleman attended the phone and said Mr Suresh is out of office and he will pass the massage to call me back, but again no response.
Now my situation is that I have hired a car for rent and doing the things which is giving me a serious financial burden and all this has happened because of your dealer’s commitment. I sincerely request and expect that some firm action will be taken from your side so that at least other people are not cheated. And I would humbly request to make them deliver the vehicle at the earlist.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I would like to inform you that I bought a new Maruti Wagon R car on 25th Apr’10, registration No. DL6CL 1654. I was very happy & excited to drive my dream car till the time it went for 1st service at Magic Auto service station situated at Moti Nagar, New Delhi. There I faced series of disappointments & my excitement turned into sorrow. I would like to explain them all in detail:-
1) Firstly, it was a first service of my car & they kept me waiting for 5 hrs to give my car back. I don’t what were they doing. And, I have a doubt that they may have replaced my original parts in the mean time.
2) Secondly, in 5 hrs time, 4 service advisors were changed to handle one car & none of them had an idea that how much time it is going to take.
3) Thirdly, I was the first one to buy New Wagon R car from Magic Auto Karol Bagh showroom and at that they had only piece with the & it had a defect in it that one of the cup holders was not working & the showroom people told mw that they will get it replaced in 2-3 days but no one called me for 1 week. Then I called the concerned person, Harsh Taneja & he told me that their training is under process for the replacement of parts, he said he will call me in 3-4 more days. But, again no response, again I called up & then Harsh said, you can get it done in first service, I was fine with that. But during the 5 hrs of first service, no one told me that they do not have this part available & they have to order it & again it will take 3-4 days. This is purely not acceptable.
4) Fourth & the biggest blunder happened after service, all the meters of the car stopped working after an hour of service. I went back to them but they were unable to diagnose the problem & asked to come back again the next day. I went again next day, they replaced the sensor but still the same issue as the sensor was not for this car. Now, again they had the same issue, they do not have the part available & I will to go back to them to get it replaced when the part comes.
5) And, now the display screen is showing an electronic error.
I did not expect such a poor service from Maruti. Earlier I had Santro car & I must say that Hyundai is giving far far better services than so called best service providers Maruti.
I would like to inform you that if my issue does not get resolved till Sunday, 23-May’10, the first thing on Minday I will do is file a case against Maruti services in Consumer Forum. I am highly highly dissatisfied by the behavior & lack of commitment of the employees.
Please contact if anyone is concerned about the image of the Maruti & the satisfaction of its customers.

Said dealer is that every time after getting the vehicle serviced I have to take
It for running repairs and they never complete the job in one go I remember in march 2007 I got the bonnet changed for the same vehicle and within a week while driving
On flyover the bonnet opened itself as the clamp was not fixed properly then I took the same to dd motors they again changed the bonnet & charged me for the same.
The unfortunate part of the story doesn’t end here on 5th of may 2009 I gave my vehicle
For servicing & I took the delivery on 6 may 2009 I was told that they will rectify all the flaws but as the pollution machine is not working so I have to get it done outside at some petrol pump & they will clean the spark plugs, injectors, they will decarbonise the engine & also they will flush the engine for all the jobs they have charged me in the bill & the total bill paid was rs. 9176 /- then after that on 7 may 2009 I went to three different petrol pump to get the pollution check & I was told by all the three petrol pump attendants that the pollution is more & they cannot issue a ok certificate when I contacted dd motors I was told that these petrol pump people never change the filter of their machines & that’s why the pollution machine is showing more pollution & now our machine is fine so we will give you the certificate in between I was travelling & unfortunately on 29 sept 09 when I took the vehicle to dd motors for pollution check in running repair they told that in case if they open job card I will be charged so without that we will do the job they tried but again they failed to give the certificate as their key board & printer was not working this time & I was kept waiting for close to two hours under the sun & at last I was told that whenever next time I bring my vehicle for service I must get the converter changed which will cost me rs. 12000 that too without checking the converter which is linked to silencer and while checking the vehicle they left open the nuts & bolts on the top of engine while checking the throttle the only business of dd motors is to make fool of the customers, scratch their pockets & to cheat the innocent customers this incident is highly shameful for maruti suzuki india ltd & dd motors wazirpur delhi as this is the exact position of 3 s dealership which is iso certified & the same is for maruti suzuki india ltd the only & only thing which works in dd motors is their high billing system for the customers the moment in the morning you take the vehicle inside before even opening a job card they will ask you is wether you will pay by credit card or cash that is the only concern dd motors has for the customers.
So good bye to maruti suzuki india ltd & dd motors in my life I will never buy a maruti product also will never go to dd motors till the time I possess the existing vehicle.

steering wheel hardens
I have a Maruti Swift (VDI) for the last 1 1/2 years. It has been running fine without complaints.
Of late, I noticed that sometimes, while driving, the Steering suddenly becomes hard and the orange light on the Tachometer lights up. I stop the car and switch off the engine. When I restart the car, everything becomes normal.
I referred this to the Maruti Workshop in Noida the first time and they changed a sensor which, they said could have been the problem.
I have also observed that on idle running, while trying the turn the steering left or right, there is a vibration, something like, as if two gears are not meshing properly and there is a play.
The problem still persists, but nobody seems to know the remedy. Surprisingly, the User Manual has no mention of the EPS Orange Light Indicator on the Tachometer, why and when does it light up, what is the reason and what is the remedy.
Can someone facing the same problem, please revert with a solution.

I bought a new Maruti Suzuki Wagon R from Magic Auto on Dabri Mod, New Delhi on 14th Oct 2009, by selling away the my old WagonR .I gave my new Wagon R for the second service to Magic Automobiles Service Centre, Mayapuri on 3rd April 2010. Soon after that in my 6 month old car, it started developing problems in the AC.The AC belt makes noise whenever we switch ON the AC.The cooling effect has disappeared.The speed of the car slows down and it get get heated very fast.It seems as if my AC has been changed by the service center people.When i told them the problem, the manager calls me for getting the car AC serviced, but is not able to rectify the problem.Being such a loyal customer of Maruti, our sentiments have been hurt by this poor service.Please help.

over heating in new car
I have bought Wagon R LXi on 23 august 2008. Within 3 month axcel was gone and dealer has change. Exactly After 2 months car was overheat. And people working at authorized sevice centre they said it is due to head and gasket. They change everything in warrenty. But the problem was not solved. Within 6 months it happens again. And they change it again. I dont know what they are doing when we are givign our car to authorized service centre.
In month of march'10 it happens again. And they said it is due to your cng we need to change your car Radiator. And i think you will be agree with me that overheating is not because of the cng and Raiator chok up is not due to that as per auto mobile expert.
As i have 2 years extended warrenty and due to poor sevices and reply of Manan I went to another 3 dealer for their opinion and everyone said that we can change it in warrenty but they said your all problem has been tackled by Manan people so its better you go there because they know your problem since it has been searched by them.
As i have paid full amount inspite of warrenty and radiator chok up is not due to cng as per automobile expert.
Can i expect some caring reply as per your services across india and as per your brand value.

delay in repair, maruti auth service centre? workshop
My car, altolx up11j9281 met with an accident and subsequently for repairs had deposited the same at tanya automobiles workshop, meerut, uttar pradesh on 02mar2010. the vehicle was under comprehensive insurance, maruti insurance-in collaboration with national insurance company and so the reason for putting the same for repairs in a maruti authorized service workshop/dealer.
However, till date:todayi. e.23 apr2010:even after 53working days; my car is yet to be released after complete repair. every day a new issue or excuse is given for non completion:basically non availability of spare parts - and that too with an authorized service workshop.

I m mr. rakesh kumar singh of indira nagar lucknow, owner of maruti alto up 32 bp 7112, facing a problem since I got my car serviced through ktl pvt ltd about my car.
its average, after its service my car is giving average of 10 or 11 per liters. my car was registered in name of my company m/s kanoria chemical but at present my car is transferred to my name.

regarding short circuiting the electrical wires within ALTO-lxi
I have felt very bad due to the problems created by the servie centre regarding the unneseccary problems created by the saketh, authorised dealers of the maruthi suzuki cars, tumkur.
matter: last month we have met thorugh a very small accident in which the bach door, indicators and bumpers were damaged, then i leave the vehichal at saketh for the repair claming the inurance, they kept the vehical for about 20 days for the minor repair and by the time the vehical was deliverd it, indicator, head lite were not working, then saying the fuse is burnt, they replaced with 150w bulb, eventhough the specificaqtion is 90w. a day later, the brake lites went off, again when taken to the service centre, replaced that blubs, two days later, the reverse gear music connecting wires got through with the brake, and all of a sudden the wites were all burnt and burning smell came from the car on drive and all the horn and music started howling..when an external mechinc was called on spot he checked it and told due to heavyu load batterty and wrong insulation the wires are shortcircuited and entire wiring connections are completely burnt.
due to the irrersponsibilty of these guys i am in unnesscary troble and the spares are not avaliable anywhere to replace and order has been placed for that and to get it ihave to wait for another 15 days..they have given me a lot of unneccssary trouble...
who is resdponsible for all these..will maruthi suzuki pepole will take any responsibility?
i had booke a maruti suzuki ritz vdi(grey colour) on 29.10.09 and i was told i will get the car within a week and i have setlled full payment and loan is also started.till now i diidnt get the car .so i want some action from yhe company head office delhi .i have already registered a complaint via phone and the complaint no is [protected]. SO I HOPE MY COMPLAINT WILL BE RESOLVED IMMEDIATELY.ELSE THE COMPANY PAY FOR MY LOSS.
