Bad staff communications & experience
When I visited maxis centre in taman tun on jun 13th, I was told I was given a special deal as existing customer - maxis wifi-on-the-go plan rm 138 at rm 108 instead of rm 138 per month.
I have 2 products with them then - hp postpaid line and wifi-on-the-go plan rm 108.
I was unable to register on that day coz the modem was out-of-stocked. Later almost end of july, I received a call from maxis saying that they will go ahead to register my new wifi plan and my modem is on the way; repeating how much it would cost me.
Everything went on well till I received my billing when I am now charged rm 138 per month instead rm 108. When I checked why - now maxis is telling me that I have to be its existing postpaid handphone line in which I terminated earlier this month. But I am still its customer for its wifi-to-go plan rm 108 until I switched to this recent plan 138!
Obviously the lady whom I spoke to terminate my hp postpaid line and another lady who called to confirm wishes, didn't explain that to me, and all my initial contact at the taman tun branch right up to registration, no one said this so-called special deal is for its hp postpaid line customers, only said customers.
So it looks like having the maxis wifi-to-go plan rm 108, is not existing customer! Training badly required or is just some stupid word games to get an additional rm 20 per month for poor customers.
Well, all maxis gain is another. Rm 20 for another 12 months = rm 240 but would be losing another customer for good.
Had been with maxis for almost 22 years I think - well a lesson learnt.

I have to wait about an hour and long queue outside since you have 3 counters is working at the time .
Your counter are not allowed for the next customer within 10-20 minutes even after service a customer before the next customer .
I have to shout and complain while i am outside and your security guard yelled at me, asking me to "shut up" and point his hand on me like a gangster .
May i know is this the way you treat your customer ?

Paying postpaid plan RM128 every month for a very unstable internet service! Maxis unstable internet connection has been occurred before MCO, and it is still happening now after 3 months! It is useless to upgrade data for customer without a stable connection! Maxis is the most expensive telco in Malaysia with unstable connection. I hope this kind of issue would have solve ASAP. I've been using Maxis line for 4 years, but i would just change telco service if this issue is not solve. Everyone looking for fast and stable internet nowadays. They are too not worthy to pay this price for this turtle service. Again I would say, it's been more than 3 months for this unstable network.

Hello. I signed up for this plan on 28th of December 2019 which cost about RM89 per month and added an extra cost of RM10 per month for unlimited calls. Before I made this payment, I was told I had not fully cleared my payments due last time which I had no idea of. Then, the seller at the store in Maxis Kampar asked us to wait for the modem to be installed in my home. I waited for quite some time and soon after, I was told that this product was fully "used up" and they said they will return my money instead. I waited again and until today I still did not receive my money. I am indeed very furious. Please fix this soon. If I did not get my refund soon, I intend to lodge a report to MCMC. Thanks. Wow maxis number one plan 4G fastest network, bla bla bla piss off, you know how annoying when your data just cut off half game online, yeah that hurts alot sir, it's making me feel like I'm a joker laughing how gross the internet connection is, you guys should start cover up 4G network, maxis for 5G? 4G already bad [censored] network you want to go to 5G, don't ever think about that sht, I hope you fix la please, i got monthly plan and I'm one of the maxis dealer that has a free maxis simcard but hell no the free simcard seem pretty uselless and stressful, now i beg you to fix your goddamn tower because it sucks [censored]

The auto data roaming subscribing was totally an bad idea. There is no control over any charge to customer without request the service. The respond on this matter was totally dissapointed for 3 days charge data roaming RM114 to Thailand is insane. As local sim card RM20. Despite royal customer stay even line was bad but didnt get appreciated. Is gonna be for sure time to change Telco

I am Murali facing slow speed problem since day install until today.
already change two time router and still below expentated 40- 76.59mpbs latest test speed yesterday for 5g. for 2.4 is below 40mpbs. and now already from Thursday until now house telephone not work and call and complaint but no action is taken. whenever call and ask about status is feed back is very bad. for you info I have report noC23217692, but just now I call they say this report no case close. how can they close this case without solve the problem. on 21/12/19 your tech came and change router and use land cable to test with is laptop is ok can go up maximum but without cable is below 100mpbs. this is wifi so I cannot use cable all the time. if cannot support please let us know or I can find other sources to fullfill my problem. I this case some time my family member have to use they data to support. may I know how long need to wait. last week two time you technical people call and ask for speed test result. I am hope can get some feed back asap.

Then has been following up on 22/12 and 23/12 was told that the problem was being looked into. Called on 24/12 and was told technician will come to fixed the down Broadband internet on 26/12. I've been using Maxis for more than a decade, but recently after i extend my commitments by adding my sub lines for my children, Maxis signal getting bad to worst, sometime whole day i m getting emergency signal in my mobile phone. i thought it's my mobile giving the problem but asked my husband & kids, they also having the same problem. When i made the complaint to Maxis counter, they only ask me to ON & Off the mobile and can't do much as they mentioned certain area signals are slow & weak.

I have been experiencing very bad service with the stability of my internet connection on my phone. I have done multiple speed test during these occurrences and the results have not been poor. Please note that all of this cases have happened within the Klang Valley and I have started to make records of it since the 24th of October 2019. Photos of the speed test results are available for your review and action. As a customer of Maxis and Hotlink for almost 10 years I am gravely disappointed at the service provided. Your prompt action on this matter is much appreciated.

Poor service staff . Bad attitude . What a such things I just wanna to activate esim and ask me to wait for 1 and half hours! A Malay girl told me that her manager will come over at 230pm. I wait since 130pm until 240pm . The other staff told me that the manager not here yet . And he ask me to other store?! Seriously, Are you kidding me ? I been waiting for 1 hour and 40 min . On 6 november 2019 at 7.34pm I have taken a no to change my hotlink prepaid to maxisone98. it has been taken more than 2 hour to handle a customer just to change the plan. the officer over there have taken 2 hours to registered me to maxisone and finally I don't get a good result or a good product or good solution.
I wanted to registered for samsung phone but no stock and I decided to change to oppo reno, so told them I want black and the officer start registering my name for oppo reno, black after few minutes later the officer told me that no stock for oppo reno black, so I change to oppo reno ocean green and the officer start to register my details again from the beginning, so I also waited, after completing the registration they change my sim card and told me to go to 3rd floor and get all the details to transfer from my old samsung to my new oppo. when I went to that shop which not connected with maxis they are not involve in any of the maxis customer "the shop man ask me why maxis send to us and I don't know why maxis telling all the customer to come here, we are not connected to maxis" that shop man told me.
My complain against maxis:-
1. treat me very bad until make me to wait for 2 hours just to change my prepaid to postpaid.
2. treat me very bad until I need to fetch my wife from office and 1 year old son from baby sitter house at 10.30pm which I need to fetch them at 8.00pm
3. treat me very bad not giving a proper explanation where to change my phone details
4. treat me very bad make me to wait until I got over stress, hungry and not giving good solution
5. treat me very bad make to go to a shop which make to disappointment, embarrassing and shame
I have no chance to use my oppo reno phone until now but my bill already started yesterday 6.11.2019, free data, free call none are still utilised yet.

Past 2 days, the browser took longer time to load and streaming also very slow.
Used to be 4g+ and fast, able to stream drama from site smoothly.
Recently, it's very slow to load a page, not to say to stream drama or movie. Keep lagging.
Even though restarted the mobile and there are enough data still left behind.
The service too lagging causes much inconvenience.

Dealer : House Of Phone at Emart Matang Jaya.
i need a prepaid card for temporary use with higher GB. Dealer name Teddy 012-8829969 he help me to register a postpaid RM188 plan. so that day i never realize is postpaid because he ask me to pay RM188 first, if i finished the internet still can top up. i need it for 1 month use only. So i accept everything and make payment.
i passed my sim card to the oversea teacher to use so i dont keep anything record for it because in my mind set this is prepaid for 2 months.
end of October i saw in my Maxis app why i still have overdue Rm307.65 but i never received email or bill. so i go check with Maxis center at the spring on 4th November. i try to ask why i never received anything bill about this and i thought this is prepaid why charges me so much. they ask me to go back to dealer to double check.
4th November 6.15pm i go meet dealer at Emart Matang, i ask him why that day i register for prepaid and you give me postpaid and i never received any bill and the e-billing also not my email address. The email address is register under dealer email.
so i ask for refund and he said over 3 months can not refund and or cancel. i need to pay the overdue by myself. he never admit the mistake.
if i dont use Maxis app i will never know about i have overdue bill with big amount. why the dealer can register the e-billing under his own email. so i think he must responsible for my bill. i already settled the bill if not my name will be under the blacklist.
i hope management can take any action for this dealer. i wish them can pay me the overdue and last payment.

I'm using postpaid 98 plan. 20gb weekday 10gb weekend. My plan renews every 24th of the month. As usual it renewed this month on 24th october and my network start being so [censored]ing bad from bad... Last month I have call maxis customer service to help me with my network coverage but after 1 days.. The network start slowing back and it interrupted my game and my life.. Maxis.. Please be responsible towards your service because we are paying you for your service.. And my phone next 1 that I got from the 98 plan was so [censored]ing useless because always restart and loss the notification bar and needs me to format it and after that I need to install back all my data..
poor if not none coverage of 4g/3g or 2g in bukit jalil
I am staying at Unit D 41-02, Parkhill Residence, No 12, Lebuhraya Bukit Jalil, Bukit Jalil 57000, Kuala Lumpur. Malaysia.
For the past few months (since August 2019) we have been experiencing poor network reception in our house. Complaints to the maxis careline have resulted in lame excuses such as the unit is too high for coverage ... this is unacceptable as radio frequencies does not behave in that manner.
I am a loyal Maxis postpaid customer with 4 sub lines and the purported 4G connectivity is non-existent in our residence building. There is absolutely no reason for there not to be 4G connectivity as Bukit Jalil is in the City and close to Maxis as well as Astro Center.
Hope to get this matter resolved soon.
