Control mastercard prepaid direct deposit
In June of 2020 chose control mastercard to have direct deposits made there was over 12000.00 dollars total deposits made, atfer a week or so my card was reported stolen, not by me but by and unknown person, my card was cut off so learning this I called the cc card company and was sent another card to my adress on file, everything seemed fine and then it was once again reported stolen I followed the same procedure again, another card wasissueds and sent to my home adress, after this it gets really weird the card once more gets reported stolen only this time they wont reissue another card, I am ask to verify my identy to which I complied and then I was asked to verify my home adress so I did but this time somehow my home adress I had been using was changed to something other than what I had originally given and also where the replacement cards were sent, since then I have made numerous calls and ask to send in doc uments proving my identity and adress, I have sent state issued identification, birth certificates, bills with my adress bank statements and any document they ask for not just once but 4 more times and they still refuse to release my money over over 10, 000 dollars this is wrong my name is Angela Rene Stallings my adress is 384 Four points Rd, jackson ga 30233 phone [protected] dob 5/15/1965

Unauthorized purchase
On January 2, 2022 unauthorized purchase was made on my debit card number [protected] of $79.73. Due to the unauthorized purchased of $79.73 my card was cancel on January 2, 2022 with claim number #[protected]. After the investigation a new card were to be send with the amount of $79.73 posted back to the new card. I am still waiting on the new card to be send with my $79.73 posted. How long will it take before I receive my new card with my funds of $79.73 posted? The complaint were filed on January 2, 2022 the same date the action took place. It have been over 48 hours; today is January 7, 2022. I have not received my new debit card yet and it is now 5 days later. Could you let me know; how long will it take before I receive my new debit card and my fund of $78.73 post back on the card? Thank you.
Desired outcome: Send me my new debit card with fund post of $79.73.

my name is Jonathan Wilson and i had my tax money sent to card.com permium bank account .
on june 15 the irs put the money on the card, i was in jail for tickets, i was released on june 17 11;50 pm. on the 6/20/2022 i go onto the IRS wheres my refund and it said check wit your bank by the 6/20/2022 if you havent recieved you funds. i call card.com and the card i have was a old card they said a new one was sent out, it was $1200 left in the account, i said i nevered ordered a new card i havent even activate my card. so it was 76 transactions on the card of over $25000 spent
so i faxed in dispute form and a writen letter and the jail ID card they give you when you get out.
card.com still denied my claim so i put in a rebuttal and also denied, i dnt no what to do im 2months behind on rent and car payment. what do i have to do, i was a victim of identity theft and mail box theft , i also made a police report to plz help ..[protected]
Vanilla visa gift card
I purchased 2 $50.00 gift cards as gifts for Christmas and one of the cards was used before it was even opened by the recipient. Not honored by the company. When company called customer service agent was rude.
Desired outcome: Replacement card or check for $50.00.
Takes hours to reach customer care service’s representative, and never have anyone on the phone! Impossible to resolve problem with Vanilla Gift Card.
Never ever will use this gift cards again and always will say only negative opinion to my friends and relatives about this cards.
Unclaimed Property
I have dental insurance through Starmount/Always Care Benefits. I moved and benefit checks were sent to my old address. Starmount said they were "archived" to MetaBank and they gave me the date, check numbers, amounts and a phone number to call, [protected]. When I call, the recording asks for my account number on the letter I received from MetaBank. If MetaBank did send me a letter, it would have gone to my old address just as the checks did. Without an account number, it is NOT POSSIBLE TO TALK TO A HUMAN! I emailed customer service and got a response saying they could not help me and to go to the FAQ or call [protected]. I called the number and it is the same recording! The FAQ refers to an Unclaimed Property Reimbursement Form. I write back and ask for the form. I get the same exact response that they can't help me and to call that same number or go to the FAQ. Clearly it is NOT A HUMAN WHO RESPONDS TO THE EMAILS! How can I talk to a human at Meta Bank to get the money that I am owed?

I am a 100% Disabled Veteran. I had my VA monthly allotment frauduelently taken by some thief electronically. They open up an account in my name at MetaBank and did an ACH transfer out of my account. My bank provided me with the ACH details. I have called every telephone number listed on the internet trying to get a human. NO SUCCESS. I am on a fixed income and I can barely walk. I have no food, I am bein charged late fees for rent. I need a human from MetaBank to reach out to me.

I was recently advised by email that my account had been closed due to inactivity. And when I called, the money that had been in that account had magically disappeared! Customer service was so poor that they couldn't even tell me where the money went!
Desired outcome: Refund of my account balance
Stimulus
2 of my economic where deposited into an account that is not mine and has so.ebody else's name on it. IRS did a trace payment on the payments on May 21, 2021 to return the money and nobody has responded to the irs or have they returned the money that was deposited in somebody else's account. Irs gave me the banking account info the days they were deposited in the account and also is trying to reach out and do a follow up on the trace. They also provided me with metabanks number which I can't get through to a live agent.

Inappropriate fees
This company, or one of its subsidiaries, charged me inactivity fees while I was waiting for a replacement card. Despite it being impossible to use a card I was not in possession of, they felt comfortable claiming the 'terms and conditions agreement' justified the charges. I purchased a Norwegian Cruise Line Gift Card for my mom before her last cruise on NCL. I didn't realize it was through a lousy institution called METABANK. My mother was saving her $250 gift card for a 2022 NCL cruise. It expires 05/23. BECAUSE OF their RIDICULOUS FEES there is NOTHING left. She never used it.
Why not keep putting your fees in the fine print and taking advantage of people! Bunch of CRIMINALS.
And the FDIC allows this?

Fraudulent Charges
I had just moved into the apartment and had new roommates . I have been dealing with these charges since July 2021. Have called many times on the issues
at hand, and every time I've called I would get a different answer. I was informed it took up to 90 days . I was told I would receive a letter around October 15, 2021, I have yet to receive anything from them in regard's to the issues at hand. And then I was told I would receive another letter on November 15th, 2021. The charges where made to Door dash and Amazon.com. I have never had and account with this company nor do I want one. Meta Bank then sent me a new card. I should of been refunded the charges. Have yet to hear from Meta Bank . As for Amazon, they to should of made things right . Not a happy customer. I never opened an account with your company
I received four letters in the mail today about four separate brokerage accounts that were opened with Vangaurd, and the person used my name to also open accounts with Metabank. NONE of the accounts were opened by me, nor with my permission. I tried to call your toll free number [protected]) to have all of the accounts closed, however this number is not set up so that the customer may speak with a representative. I am hereby requesting to have ALL accounts associated with my name to be closed IMMEDIATELY. If anything happens with these fraudulent accounts, I will speak with a lawyer about what needs to happen next! The routing number for the account: [protected] - The whole account number was not provided, but it ends in 5102 - opened by someone with an email address: [protected]@hotmail.com...Whoever this person is, they have an interest in some kind of fraudulent activity that I am not willing to be a participant of. Please be advised that refusal to take the proper action in closing this account WILL result in a lawsuit for Metabank.

Direct Deposit of payroll and inability of employee to access funds
I am the Controller of a large landscaping company. One of the employees set up a MetaBank account through a Prepaid visa he purchased at a WalMart. Over 12 weeks ago his card was damaged and unusable, further the prepaid card does not recognize the account at MetaBank. I have tried for HOURS to find a phone number to call MetaBank to reverse the funds back to the employer as we already wrote the employee checks as he can't access the funds sitting in MetaBank. MetaBank has NO banking locations and despite both the employee and us requesting a return of the funds to the Employer (us) nothing has been returned. No new card has been sent to the employee to allow him access to withdraw the funds and repay us. I need a representative from MetaBank to get in touch with us immediately and reverse the two wrongful direct deposits, which the employee will verify he wants as well. Linda Baldwin

new checking and debit card account
Attempting to get any customer service is like hitting your head against the wall a million times. I opened this account last month, and have had several deposits being put into the account beginning Monday. Several were posted today. This evening I have attempted to access the account. I have been unable to do so. New passwords were originated. Calling customer service is not working as no one is available other than a computer dubbed voice. I have initiated several debits to the account and was concerned that errors may occur.
The issue here is that communication is a two way consideration.

Prepaid Debit Card
I have over $6800 in a Hard Rock Cafe prepaid card, which represents my paychecks. Over 2 1/2 weeks ago, my card was "locked-up", they call it pausing. My paychecks go into this card, or they did...After 2 weeks of fighting with them, they charge my account $29.95 to "expedite" a new card to me. Was supposed to receive it today, it's not coming. They tell me all kinds of lies about what's going on---they refuse to wire my money into my credit union, they refuse to send me a card in a reasonable time--to them, expediting your card is stealing $29.95 out of your account and telling you your card will be there in 14 business days...yet the card never comes.
I want my money back, and I will go as far and high as I have to, to get my money, including to the Federal Trade Commission. I want my money.

All Access Account card -strangers name with my address
I am in the process of selling my house. I have moved to a new home but check my locked mailbox for mail that hasn't been forwarded yet. I found an envelope from meta-bank with someone else's name on it and the address of the house I am in the process of selling. I suspect fraud. The name associated with my address of 6017 Cedar Bend Dr., Clarkston, MI, 48346 is Nakeyia Wyche.
The card has not been activated, thankfully. I tried contacting meta-bank by phone but could not get through their voicemail with out a Social Security number that matches the one probably used by the applicant, Nakeyia Wyche.
Desired outcome: Remove all acct. info. Associated with my address and report this as possible fraud.

Netspend all access account
I keep receiving cards at my address for numerous individuals. My address has obviously been compromised. I have called customer service numerous times with no resolution. I am not able to connect with an actual person and have tried numerous numbers attempting to connect with the MetaBank Fraud Dept (that you are legally required to have as a financial institution).
I am requesting that Metabank remove my address from their servers and from their approved affiliates servers immediately. If I do not hear back, my next step is to call the FDIC Fraud and Abuse Section.

i setup up my deposit to go into my card.com premium account which is partnered with meta bank . Meta bank provided card.com premium the routing and account number. MAY 10, 2021 I have court for traffic tickets the judge sentenced me . i was released JULY 25, 2021 FROM COUNTY JAIL. I got my mail that builded up while i was locked up . i was trying to get into my card.com premium account i was unable to log in . i emailed card.com premium to assist in geting into my account they ignored me and never responded . i tried to call them to let them know i didnt receive my debit card and i cant log in my account. card.com premium system by phone didnt have my information correct so i couldnt get throw the zipcode was not matching . at the point i knew it was changed . July 28th i finally was able to talk to someone i found out my money was stolen out my account home address has been changed pin number has been created . by me not knowing the address it was changed to and me never receiving the debit card.com premium requested my identification documents to verify me before correcting address and sending me a card. july 28th 2021 i also filled and returned dispute form . august 10, 2021 my dispute was denied . august 10 2021 i filed a police report and sent to card.com premium and asked them to reopen my disput e . the provided me a denial with little to no explanation and no investigation material to show why i was denied . so i was robbed 10, 053.00 dollars and car.com failed to keep my money safe.
