My experience was not good
My experience was not good. Just months after installation of a new central air system, the connection of the air handler to my house completely failed (lots of mold around the connection and air leakage into the garage every time the AC ran). When a company rep came out to inspect the issue about a year after installation, they added some metallic tape around the leaking area. That worked for several months but then totally failed and I was back to the initial problem. All of this happened in about an 18 month period. Last night, I needed to have them come out to repair the previous repair and was charged $215 to fix the problem. Looks like a better job was done this time (time will tell) but the company did not respond to my email asking them to review the situation for a possible refund or discount. For this reason, I would not recommend this company. It appears they do not stand behind their work. Very disappointing but will move on from here.

Ductwork was suggest to be installed wrong, I called them many times. They didn't get permit from City of Tarpon Springs. Now I need new ductwork. They replaced ductwork between [protected] when they put in new AC in 2014. I kept calling them but they didn't do anything to fix their bad work.

Millian Aire Enterprises, LLC installed a new AC unit for us about 3 years ago, but unfortunately, they didn't do it right. We've had to call them for service at least 20 times since then. On a few occasions, they even left us without AC for more than one night. We recently discovered that they never completed the necessary permits with the city, most likely because it wouldn't pass inspection. It's been a real hassle, and now they're asking for more money to fix the problems they caused. To make matters worse, it seems like they've blocked our phone numbers. As a result of their poor workmanship, my ceilings have been damaged. I really need to speak to the owner, ***.

On January 17, Millian-Aire came to my house to replace the air conditioner. They were also supposed to seal the ducts in our attic, as stated in the contract we signed. We believed they had completed the job as agreed. However, when they returned in July this year, my wife was informed that the ducts needed sealing due to moisture causing water to drip through. They charged us $2278.00 for this service. Since we had already paid for it once, we refuse to pay again. We have made numerous calls to them, but they have been unresponsive. Only one service man came out to replace the thermostat, which was installed along with the air conditioner. He mentioned that it was not functioning properly and conducted thermal imagery of the duct work to identify the source of the leaks. However, they have yet to seal the ducts and do not seem to believe it is necessary, despite it being clearly stated in the contract. The Trane Air conditioner system was the product or service provided.

Purchased HVAC Trane 5tonTEM6, 5TON XR15 on 01/06. The company sold me an oversized unit that caused problems in my home. I've been dealing with mildew and possibly mold for seven months. Finally, the company exchanged the unit for a 4ton Trane, but I'm still having issues with the air handler. The mastic on the air handler has dissolved due to the high moisture in the supply plenum. The aluminum tape is showing. They didn't even install the UV light! These past seven months have been a headache, and I've lost trust in the company. Every time a technician is scheduled to provide a service, they either don't know what they're supposed to do or don't have the right tools, so I have to wait and reschedule. Now I'm still waiting for a proper resolution regarding the moisture in the outside supply plenum. The company has failed to provide customer satisfaction. I'm requesting a complete resolution and for the company to regain my trust without any more issues, along with an extended warranty.

My fairly new air conditioner (1 1/2 yr) stopped working (I live in Florida). I lost work $2000 because I work out of my house, also with a bookkeeper, and it was too hot to sit here. The company sent a technician over the next morning. He checked things over and told me the compressor is bad (parts are under a 10 yr warranty). Estimated cost just for the labor is $1,643. Here is the complaint: 1) First, I did not need a compressor because of their negligence and desire to steal money. They came up with a false diagnosis. I know this now because after two weeks of sending documentation to the manufacturer for assistance and speaking to other air conditioning companies looking for an estimate. Two items surfaced: one is their estimate was more than double what another company would charge for the labor, and second, two other technicians in 5 minutes said it is not the compressor. I have contacted Millian Aire, the installation company owner, and sales manager first by phone and email, and then sent them a certified letter. I never heard the slightest response of any kind. A minor part is needed that caused the Freon to leak out, which is out of stock. However, when the technician added Freon, the system works but not for long. Now my problem is going on one month tomorrow since I discovered my system was not working. In Florida, it is dangerous to not have air conditioning because of the humidity, which can easily form mold and ruin your house. Had they not made this erroneous, irresponsible diagnosis, I would have the system probably working by now. But as a result, I assumed they were correct and looked for remedies based on their incorrect diagnosis.

The technician, who I won't name, was friendly and said he found the problem with the blower motor in the air handler. He said it would cost $2,500.00 to replace it, but then he magically lowered the price to $1,500.00. He kept pressuring me to buy a new unit and use that money towards it, but I said no. He agreed to order the motor and install it, but he wanted me to pay upfront, which I refused. I never pay upfront. Then he wanted the money for the service call, which was supposed to be $90.00, but I was told it was less. I called the company and they apologized. I spoke to a manager named ***, who was nice and said the technician shouldn't have pressured me. He said he would call me later. But then another manager called and tried to pressure me into buying a new unit, saying other things could break down and cost more. I refused, but I was really upset and my blood pressure was rising. I called the company again to talk to ***, and surprisingly, his attitude changed. He advised me to buy a new unit and use the money towards it because they don't guarantee anything. I'm really upset about how my husband and I were treated by this company. I think they took advantage of our age to scare us into buying an expensive unit when all we wanted was a repair. I will never call them again. I don't trust them, and I think they're dishonest. How can they charge almost $1,600.00 for a blower motor in the air handler? There must be better companies out there.

On 5/5/2022 I called Millian Aire AC because my AC wasn't cooling right. A tech came out, ran some tests, and told me my refrigerant was 3 pounds low. The unit had a 4.1 pound capacity. To refill my system, the cost would be $405. He offered to do a leak search for an extra $289.00 which I said no to, but I did buy the refrigerant for $405. The next day my AC still wasn't cooling so I called Millian Aire again. This time the same tech said he needed to replace my coil which was leaking. He said the coil might be covered under warranty, but the labor, which could be $1000 or more, wouldn't be covered no matter what. I checked my AC warranty paperwork and saw the company who first installed the unit gave me a 5-year parts and 2-year labor warranty. The AC was less than 2 years old. I called the original company who sent a tech. The tech told me I didn't have a leak and the reason the unit wasn't cooling properly was because my vents were aimed at the ceiling. Also, the control unit wasn't set correctly for proper cooling. I called Millian Aire AC the next day and asked to talk to the Service Manager, Pat O. I explained that the company that did the original installation told me I didn't have a leak. After some tense discussion, he offered to send another tech to prove to me I had a leak. I agreed. A different Millian Aire tech came and, using his leak detection equipment, tested my system and told me there was no leak. When I called Mr. O. back, he said it was probably a pin hole leak that couldn't be detected by equipment. Now a month later, my system is cooling properly with no new coil or additional refrigerant. I think the Millian Aire AC tech charged me $405 for refrigerant I didn't need. I want my $405 back, and I want the owners to know Mr. O., spoke to me in a condescending way and doesn't represent their company well. My invoice is attached.

They responded quickly and sent a technician who diagnosed a bad blower motor and ordered a replacement. I paid a $79 service fee and was informed that the remaining $610 for the blower motor would be due after replacement. They called when the motor arrived and a second technician installed it, but the AC still didn't start. After further troubleshooting, the technician determined that it was the control board, not the blower motor, that needed to be replaced. They said they would order a new control board and get back to us with the price. The next day, we had the motor and capacitor tested at a motor repair facility, and both were found to be in working condition. We then stopped by Millian-Aire and spoke to a gentleman who claimed to be the service manager's boss (unfortunately, I don't remember his name). We explained our situation and asked about the price of the control board, as well as expressing our concern about the excessive charge for the motor. He justified the high price by saying they have a lot of experience and mentioned charging $280 for a $9 capacitor. He informed us that the control board would cost $179, with the $79 we had already paid being deducted. We agreed to have them replace the board and switch back to the original motor. Later that day, we received a call informing us that the board had arrived and they would come to install it on 6/11. However, when the technician arrived, he was unaware that he was supposed to remove the new motor and reinstall the original one. We didn't ask for a price as we had been told the price by the person at their facility. The technician called to clarify the instructions and then came back inside to confirm that he was indeed supposed to remove the new motor, replace it with the original, and install the board. He completed the tasks and then stated that the total cost for the service that day was $360, with the $79 deducted from the overall cost. This was very different from what the service manager's boss had told us. It was a significant difference. We have since tried to contact the service manager directly to discuss the situation, but we have not received a return call. The person we spoke with needs to honor the price that was quoted to us. That's all there is to it.
