Motel 6 too loud/ roaches

They gave me room 101 by the office at the north lakeland location. The issue I have was that the guests arriving to check in slam the car doors shouting and carrying on the staff makes too much noise doing their job. It felt like the world was falling when they were up on top pressure washing which by the way got me wet with the mist as I came out to see what was happening with the rumbling sound. The housekeeper knocked my door at 10am loud banging which scared me. And continued banging until I opened the door. I was just getting my sleep when this happened. I had checked in at 2am. Also I was laying down when I observed something crawling on the bed rest panel. To my surprise it was a roach and a spider. I took pictures of them. I have the pictures handy if needed. Besides that, the bed and the room was clean and the bathroom was clean to as well but I got no rest during my stay and after seeing the critters I could not shut my eyes concerned that anything would crawl on me while I slept. And the door slamming was also a issue. I look forward to hearing back from someone in regards to a refund. Thank u. Edwin arce [protected]

Motel 6 too loud people banging the walls and housekeeping knocking at your door at 10:30am when check out time is at 12pm

I reserved a room in turlock ca it was the worse all night was not able to sleep people banging on the walls I was down stairs and people jumping up and down you were able to hear all their conversations and after not being able to sleep in the morning at 10:30 housekeeping banging on your door after I told them I was not ready they came back 2 more times. At 12:15 me getting ready to leave the manager came knocking on the door and pretty much kick me out like if we were whatever after I told her what happened she dint say anything anyways it's the worse place to stay and the treatment was so ghetto I would never stay in a motel 6 again

Motel 6 entire room

We stayed at the motel 6 on sycamore view in Memphis Tennessee. We floors were disgusting. The bathtub mat was coming unglued so when my kids tried to take a bath the adhesive was floating everywhere. There were ants everywhere, the toilet didn't work right and the lock didn't work on the inside. The worst part was picking stuff up to leave in the morning and finding the cap to a needle on the floor. Tried telling the guy at the front desk but he didn't understand me and shrugged it off. I'm so disgusted.

Motel 6 in regards to being mislead

I'm extremely disappointed in the lack of communication and mislead by our reservation. When we called we were told that the reservation was for the next day to come check in anytime, we were traveling back from visiting family and didn't get in till 12:30 am though it was the next day we were rudely told around 10 10:30 that housekeeping needed to come in and told us we were to check out that same morning. We were than told that because the system didn't switch over they had gave us a room for the previous night not what we had reserved and if we weren't staying another night we needed to cancel the reservation or be billed. So not only did we pay for a full night we didn't even stay over night. Not recommending this hotel.

Motel 6 general manager

A certain gm has been harassing me. I'm not saying his name but i'm not the only person who has complained. Not sure where to go from here. I was let go due to this. I just want this company to be aware of this because in no way shape or form is this acceptable. So i'm out of a job and i'd like to know who will answer this. I'm very afraid to say his name because he is very intimidating. I am taking a huge risk here by opening my mouth. Just do something about this matter.

Motel 6 bathtub

So i'm assuming theres a leak in the bathtub as soon ive been told just now. However, I take baths everyday to be able to soak in epsom salt from body pain. Anyways, i've just been notified I can only take showers because the floor below me has a leak. It could've been from my sink. Im not sure, but if it was the tub it would've been everyday ive been here for 3 days and not just now. I pay for a room to have the ability to take a bath if I wanted a shower I would have went elsewhere. But should be able to use what i'm paying for without being told I can only shower because their' wall or cieling is messed up. This is like ripping me off for something i'm paying for and can't use. It also doesn't make sense because if the tubs leaking under while its holding water from a bath then its leaking while a shower is being ran the whole time and I would think that would be worse. This is not very business like and not professional at all. If they cared about guests they would offer to move me rooms but didn't. What happened to the hospitality and fair act law? This should be fixed to where I can use the bathroom or I should be moved free of charge since i'm paying $60 a day and can't use my bath now. Not very satisfied. I fractured my ankle and couldn't walk two weeks ago so if I was still in pain I would've basically had to bird bathe out the sink because I couldnt stand. Hence as to why if I can only shower ;if I was still handicapped it'd be impossible and I could sue if harmed for being told not to take a bath. This doesn't make any sense as to why it falls on me. Can this be fixed somehow

Motel 6 the worst motel 6 room I have ever stayed in!!

To whom it may concern:

I am writing to let you know about our recent stay at your motel 6 location at 11333 grand ave, youngtown az 85363. This is the worst motel 6 I have ever had the misfortune to stay at. We booked a room there because we were traveling from california to arizona and needed a room for 3 nights, from thursday january 11 through sunday, january 14th. We were charged $226.08. The room was advertised at $67.00 per night, but this amount comes out to $75.36 per night. However, the room accommodations were so bad, we checked out a day early because we could not stand to stay there for one more night.

The room was advertised as having a queen size bed. No way did this room feature a queen size bed. It was more the size of a double bed. My husband and I have slept in queen size beds before with no problem. His feet hung off the bed this time.

The room was so microscopically small that the bed was pushed up against the wall on one side. Needless to say, accessing it properly was extremely difficult and inconvenient. The mattress was so horribly uncomfortable, sleep was nearly impossible.

The bathroom was extremely small, and the toilet was not secured properly to the wall — it moved every time we sat on it. The shower was horrendous. It was like trying to take a shower in a phone booth it was so small. It was circular, and only had a wall on the rear half of the circle. The entire entry side was open, with only a shower curtain to close it up. When we tried to take a shower, the cloth shower curtain would move from the blowing air in the room, became soaked and would stick to you. When you tried to adjust it, it would flap outside the stall and flood the bathroom floor. The water temperature only adjusted from very hot to scalding. Because of the way the stall was set up with the showerhead at the top of the entry flowing away from the curtain, there was no way to avoid the water coming down on you. Also, there was no flow adjustment, it was either on or off.

The location of the building was built right in front of train tracks, so even if the room and bed were anywhere near comfortable, needless to say the trains going by several times in the middle of the night eliminated any chance for decent sleep.

And, in addition to all this, these people had the nerve to charge a fee for the use of their wi-fi!

The unbelieveable, unavoidable misery caused by staying here was just too much to take so we checked out one day early.in light of the horrific conditions we experienced, I am requesting that I receive a refund at least for our 3rd night.in my opinion, it is the very least you can do, and this location should be closed immediately! It is ridiculously uncomfortable and not worth $6 a night, let alone what we were charged!

Motel 6 poor management

The motel 6 at 20651 military rd s seatac wa 98198

This hotel has been around since the early mid 80s, but it started life as the apple inn. It has been going down hill since. The last couple of years have been the absolute worst. The manager they have now, brandon, is clueless and usually missing. You need the manager to review the security videos if a crime has been committed, you need the manager for a refund from a laundry or vemding machine, you need a manager to discuss rates. Brandon is never there.

The laundry has two washers, one is broken down and has been for as long as I can remember. Lights are burned out throughout the place and nothing happens for months.

One light near the office has a long slow blink with a blue lens making it feel like the police are raiding the place. They should. Every kind of criminal you ever heard of logdes there. Heroin and meth are sold from certain rooms or in the parking lot. There are always hookers around and the smell of pot smoke is generally contant.

They brag about their security, but if you have a crime committed agajnst you dont expect any help or support. They want to pretend it didnt happen. I work up one morning to have 3 of my 4 tires punctured completely ruined. I could not look at the security tapes until brandon got there. Many hours later her came. He didnt allow me to see the video but his interpretation of it was that the video quality was too poor to use. And on weekends they have roving security but he must have been in the office trying to score with the ladies because he never intervened nor even seen the crime being committed. Before I could get the three fix a fourth was ruined. Again nobody could tell what happened. I was parked right up to the building with lights and cameras trained on me from 2 directions
Then brandon told me I have to immediately get my truck with 4 flat tires off the property. He never even appeared to care that visitors are often robbed or attacked under his watch. He just wants your vandalized vehicle out of there so it doesnt cost the hotel money. You cant have new visitors see that the security is essentially non-existent.

All the garbage can in front of the units have 5 foot diameter stains from years of neglect. I had to pour bleach on the stain in front of my unit becuse the smell made me sick. And if the workers seen how well a cup of bleach worked on a trash stain maybe the staff would start to do it too. Rats a a real problem there and can always be seen from dusk till dawn, but they are often seen even in broad daylight. Something about rats that dont run away from humans. Its like they stake off territory that they are willing to fight to keep. Lots of garbage and uncollected dog feces as well. I doubt you are any safer there than the city dump. I sure would never let a little kid run there in the grass or anywhere. Not only rats and dog feces but usually you will always find hypodermic needles laying around from iv drug users that just use the parking lot to get high and then toss their needles out of their way. Vomit is seen in these places, stripped out stolen cars bags of clothes from nearby stores with all the rags still on them. Including anti theft tags. Broken pieces of anti theft tags litter the whole parking lot in fact.

People overdose on drugs regularly. It is not uncommon to see aid workers wheeling out the dead and the dying. There have been murders committed (plural). Police make rounds there every day but dont appear to be too effective.

I am completely un favor of the eeo.in concept that would mean the workforce could be a metaphorical pie. Slices of the pie would represent races and ethnicities. That pie would be equal to society as a whole. However you will not find a single white person working here. Mexicans or better central americans represent almost all of the cleaning contingent while african americans represent management, security and counter help. They did have a single white lady working there and she was quite likeable. It was very obvious she was having a hard time making ends meet and she worked very hard to keep her job. One day she was gone. I have no clue why, but she was replaced by two people.

The counter help is a unique group of their own of nice looking nicely dressed african american ladies, so quite arrogant. Because I was a long long term guest because of a local work assignment the maids never cleaned my room. I would have to figure out how to get my own towels and other consumables every day in a system of ever changing policy. There were hand written notes on various doors and boards that contradict each other. The lady at the counter would contradict those. I was sent to the hotel laundry one night to get my towels. There was no answer at rhe door repeated times. I went to the counter and told the lady I was tired from working a 12bhour day and she looked at me like I was nothing and told me that was not her problem.

Motel 6 disrespectful management and unclean room

I paid $1, 500 for 10 nights. The room was unclean, the management was disrespectful to us. The problems also have continued on through the 8 days we were there... My fiance and I were told that because a friend came to pick us up at the motel that we had been supposedly having an extra person staying with us. We had not. I had a diabetic issue and ended up in the icu of a las vegas hospital... Upon my release... I went back to the room... And my key didn't work. So... I went to the office, and the manager himself started calling me a pinchè cavrone... I personally tried to avoid all confrontations. He told me that he doesn't care... We had to figure out where we were able to get the room anther night. So... I will never rent another room from motel 6 again... There were cigarette holes on all the the blankets... And the room next door to us smelled of sewage and had bed bugs. We didn't get our money back for the nights we ourselves didn't get to stay. I also got $500 taken out of my bags while I was there at the motel 6 on boulder highway. I personally will be on las vegas' fox 5 talking with reporters about your filth and disrespect. I also will be contactung my attorney about the racial slanders I heard from the managers and the employees... Motel 6... If this issue isn't ended soon... I'm gonna contact ice and our nation's president and explain the terrors I dealt with... Enough is enough...

Motel 6 service

On january 8, my boyfriend and me went to stay at a motel 6 in hayward ca in room 186 we seen like a few roaches in the room. One was crawling on our bed and I moved quickly m hurt myself because im on crutches the smoke alarm went off 7 times and we had a smoking room cause I smoke cigarettes im not happy with our stay and im very upset that I hurt myself a little more due to me being on crutches from my knee surgery didnt bother contacting with office because I wanted to keep from me saying things that were unnecessary up on them so I figured I would just contat the main office so im hoping for a full refund im very upset and so is my boyfriend. The picture that I got is blurry because I moved when I zoomed in and didnt notice it until I looked at it right now. Thats the best and only picture I got and im sending a picture of proof that I have had knee surgery just so u know im not lying bout that also.

Motel 6 poor condition of room and reply from staff

Regretably, I chose to stay at a motel 6 on jan.7, 2018 while making a brief trip to seattle. I live in omak washington. I made the 5-6 hour drive betwwen cities starting that early am. Time passed and I chose not to drvive back before getting some rest.
I made a reservation at the motel 6 in seatac around 4pm. I arrived to said motel 6 exhausted around 7pm. The attenandant first assigned me to a 2nd fl walk up. I mentioned I was tired and asked for ground level if availabe.
It was changed to room 125. Upon arrival the room it appeared very clean but had a strong bleach and pinesol odor! I called the attendant who said all the rooms smell that way because the cleaning service uses too much bleach! She reccomeneded that I leave my door open for air saying no one would bther me
I later noticed that the malodorous bleach scent was a cover up for the feces scent noted every time the room air conditioner/heater system went on.

I left unrested well before my check time! Appalled and disappointed.
This should happen to no one.
So
Not worth the $60.00 of hard earned money.

Motel 6 poor conditions of rooms and inadequate customer service

Just stayed at a motel 6 in rockwood oregon and im sad to say that it was one of the worst stays ive had! Its my 3rd time in this particular motel so I didnt expect the treatment or lack there of or the condition that the room was in. I first was sent to rm. 218 which the key card wouldnt allow entry so next was sent to rm. 219 which was suppose to be a non smoking rm but from the smell it was obvious that it had been smoked in and the television that was in the room was an older tube tv from the 1990s which was broken and had been tampered with so finally one of the house keepers suggested thay I go to room 212 and that she had just cleaned it so I said okay. As before it was suppose to be a non smoking room but had clearly been smoked in. When I turned the tv on, the corner of the screen had been shattered and so color was disstorted and had lines running through it. I called front desk and notified them and was told not to worry about it as long as it still turned on and off so my son had to watch half a tv screen and guess what channel he mite be flipping on but the thing that was the most upsetting was that I started to hear a chirp every 20 seconds or so. The noise was from the smoke alarm which haad no battery in it! I called front desk and reported that the alarm would chirp and had no battery which I was told that they werent able to locate a battery and I would have to wait till manager got back to install new one in an hour or 2. Well time passed and no manager ever showed so I called foh again and asked why the delay and was told not to worry and that he would be up soon, another hour passed so I went down to office and asked to be moved to another room with an operating fire alarm but was denied he claimed that he had already moved me 3 times so he wouldnt move me again and to just "be patient". So much to my dismay I ended up not getting hardly any sleep due to a continuous chirp! Fortunately there wasnt a fire in the middle of the night because I would of had no way of knowing it! So not only did I get blown off and not have my concerns addressed but myself as well as my 11 y/o sons lives were put at risk by having no operable fire alarm in our room! I was suprised to see that I was charged anyhow for my stay considering all that went wrong and without even an apology. I understand this isnt the hilton and is affordable for a reason but there was no reason to deny to move my son and I just for safety concern, there were several open rooms open and vacant. Needless to say this was inexcusable and I will consider different options next time I choose somewhere to stay as well as pass the word on to those I know frequent motel 6's. The room is completely disgustingly dirty not worth $ 60 bucks

1) feces in the toilet toilet does not flush or go down!

2) blood stains on the closet doors !

3) feces stains on the window curtains !

4) boogers on the wall!

5) tub is filthy dirty has not been clean or scrubs in years mold and mildew a ring around floor mat in tub!

6) no soap shampoo conditioner lotion or tissue!

7) no coffee maker!

8) blood or urine stains on carpet!

9) cockroach infestation!

10) urine stains on toilet seat from previous people!

11) pubic hair on toilet seat!

Motel 6 immigration

Recent report said motel 6 was cooperating with ice enforcement. A very patriotic thing to do. But now your ceo says you will not turn in illegal aliens hiding in your motels. I'm very sorry to learn this. My family accross the country will never consider staying at your motel ever again until your ceo recinds your unpatriotic stand on refusing to call ice of illegal aliens staying at your hotels. Such a dirty shame on you. I've stayed at your motels numerous times but not anymore. I notified all my relatives. They will not consider staying at your motels. Good bye motel 6.

Not a fan of illegals myself but they arent doing it to protect just them . The ceo meant they are not going to break privacy again wich could lead to millions of lawsuits . That being said, It is very obvious that you are a racist [censor] rather than a patriot . So who cares if you and your inbred family stays at a motel 6 ? Certainly not motel 6. Oh and btw, I left the light on for ya ...

Motel 6 service:

1 week ago today, 12/27/17. Denial of confirmed reservation. * The problem is employee, not a Manager, under Management making hostile, uninformed, dangerous denial of service. I have an open case under investigation with local police and they were called. I have a emotional support dog, and so fled a dangerous domestic violence situation. The issue is, I stayed for 1 month in November, and that is problematic as the State/County of SD is reimbursing. I am going forward with alerting State of CA, which I believe is one in question is undergoing issues pertaining to immigration. It's a cesspool here in South Bay San Diego/Chula Vista, and they denied a a loyal, customer.

Motel 6 prices & misleading information/made up “rules”

First, I would like to mention that I previously served as an active duty member in the Army. I have always (always) chosen Motel 6 any time I needed to book a room, no matter if it was just for one night (technically 7 hours-my min. Amount of time in the room), or 3 weeks (max. Time I've stayed in one. Literally I stayed in a room for 3 weeks-did my own Cleaning & wouldn't allow them to do it even.) I'm a loyal customer, and I never complain about things because there is more to life than complaining all the time; however, 3 nights ago, I booked a room (on location), payed cash (as always), and even tipped the front desk attendant.

Issue # 1) A 1 bed, 1 person room at this specific location is $51.84, with tax included in that. I know because I've stayed there many times. The man charged me $75 even. I asked why, and he said because the only thing available was a "suite", that EVERY room was full. I don't believe motel 6 even offers suites, but I paid it, and then when I asked for a receipt, he said his machine was down. Should have been clue #600, but I went on.

My room was a small/typical sized room, I asked for non smoking, it was clearly smoking. The smell, and ash trays (still dirty) told me it was most likely smoking. There was 1 pilllow (no pillow case), and only a sheet on the bed. No comforter. I understand it was most likely a mistake, so I was still understanding at this point. I went to wash my face and use the bathroom, and noticed there were no towels, rags, and no toilet paper. Luckily I just had to pee. On my way out to dinner I went back to the front desk, and let him know. He said that they charge for towels (a "renting" fee) because people steal them, and would be an after hours house keeping fee. I told him I'd use my towel, and that I just wanted the blankets in the room, I would do the work myself. When I left, and came back (with an old friend of mine that I was visiting while we were in the same town) that's when I encountered...

Issue #2) we were in my room for 5-10 min. (At the end of this ordeal we figured it out, but I dont remember, I do know it was less than 10 min.) and I get a knock on my door. Thinking it's my bedding finally arriving I open the door to the front desk attendant. He is yelling at me angrily because my friend was in the room with me, and they "don't allow guests after 6 pm. (Which isn't stated ANYWHERE). I told him it was just for a little bit to visit, but he came in my room, and wouldn't leave until my friend did! He was very mean to her, and at one point tried to grab her by the arm to pull her out of the room, until I made it clear he shouldn't touch her. So she went to her car to wait for me, and he tells me I must leave because of the disturbance I caused, and complaints he received. The parking lot wasn't even half full, and I had been there (total) less than half an hour. He gave me 10 min before he called the police, (but I didn't mind that, and I got my things out which took about 10 minutes). I told him I wanted to speak to a manager, and he said he was the manager, and I didn't have a receipt to prove I paid so I couldn't get a refund.

This is BY FAR the most mind boggling encounter I've EVER had. Ever. I have my friend to back up my story, and will gladly give the location of the motel I was at. I love motel 6, but I didn't get a refund, and had the worst experience EVER. and I've been through some bad places, this was #1.

Please do something about this. I would love my money back. Or for him to lose his job. He shouldn't try and touch a female he doesn't know, let alone with the intent to pull her out of a room!

Motel 6 cockroaches, black mold, and disrespectful manager

Checked into motel6 in lumberton, nc in route to florida.
Was only there for an hr, and in that 60 minutes, as a woman with mold allergies and swelling of throat, noticed black mold while getting shower, and while in shower, hear my husband get angry, as 2 cockroaches ran acrossed his foot, and up the wall only.
I made complaint, requested room change, and was refused, therefore requested refund, and was offered 20$ and asked to leave property for attitude and becoming upset, mind you it was a blizzard and snowing terribly, yes in north carolina, which was why we even stopped in first place, and she still demanded we leave... Terrible ways to treat a customer, but even more so, just as a person treating a person..

I'm losing hope in humanity 💔🙌

Bed bugs that i found in my bed on January 1st when i woke up that i had been bitten by an i told the office an i askd for a refund an they gave me hassle about the situation i want my refund because that is unacceptable i should be able to get a room an be able to enjoy my stay if i am payn my money for it the person in the office even called the police on me...

Motel 6 motel room in denton, texas.

On December 26th, 2017 we stopped at the Motel 6 on I-35 in Denton, Texas. After we went to sleep I was awakened by feeling something crawling on my left hand. I then realized I had been bitten by a bed bug on my left thumb. When we got up on the morning of December 27th my girlfriend noticed that her left hand was itching badly and she too had been bitten in four places on her hand. When I went to the front desk to return the keys I informed the person on duty what had happened. He said he was sorry that we got bit but I was left with the impression that he really wasn't very concerned with my complaint. I don't feel that we should have had to pay for a room where we were bitten by bed bugs. My future patronage of Motel 6 will depend on your response to this complaint.

Motel 6 unethical behaviour/ uncaring

I rent a room at motel 6 in Roosevelt Minnesota booked it on line and it was suppose to be 54 I got charged 70.00. Room was a handicapped smoking room no ashtray, a laminate floor with sand all over it no throw rugs. I go and shower and I slip and fall in the tub and hit my head all because they don't have the tape in the tub that is required so that people don't slip and fall in the tubs, hit my head in tub have a golf ball size lump get dressed walk to office tell the person in office and leave a message for manager to contact me, I get no contact from manager the next day or for a week and it took for me to be demanding that I finally speak to the manager. At time of speaking to manager I ask her is she not concerned about the lady the slipped and hit her head in the tub in room 127. She tells me no she is not and that she has 127 rooms that are more important then me the lady that hit her head in the tub. I was floored when she said that to me. So for almost 2 weeks I walked around having dizzy spells every time I stood up.Not going to the hospital because I have no insurance and manager not giving me the claim number and insurance company name not making a bill I cant AFFORD. So driving out of town after 9 hours of sleep I blacked out and rolled a truck at 70mph due to an alerted concussion due to the fall in the tub at motel 6. Have gotten one call from their cooperate office since I contacted them back in Sept of 2017, never spoke to the woman at head corporate she left message and I have called her several times and still no call back Jan 1 2018
