I recently checking into a room at the motel 6 located in Barstow CA on Yucca Dr . I was given a room and within only being there maybe an hour and had bed bugs crawling on me. I went to the office to see about getting another room. The manager set me up for another room but programed the key for a room next to the room she assigned me. Once I had the correct key i went to the new room which was not much better. Upon entering I inspected the bed to be sure of no bugs. The floor has multiple stains. The blankets have stains. Crushed cockroaches on the wall and the remote was covered in a dark black film. When asking for a refund they said I could only get 50% back cause I ha already used the other room

This has got to be the worst Motel 6 I have ever stayed at at. The rooms are disgusting and when I went and told them that acted as if I was crazy. There was blood on the sheets, the shower had mold all around the bottom, there was blood on the walls in the bathroom. The bottom of the shower looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. I went and bought my own bleach to clean the shower. On top of that we were not able to check in until after 6 because our room was "not ready". They said they were still cleaning it. The next day we left for the day, housekeeping was clearly in our room because all the blankets were on the floor and there were no towels when I went to the Front they said we will send someone because we don't have anything in the office. A man walked into our room, no knock no checking if we were in there. He used his key to let himself in. He said did you need towels? My husband said do you not knock? He handed us the towels and took the blankets that were on the floor and I had to walk back up there to ask for blankets. She again said they would send someone. We left for dinner and came back and and still no blankets. I went up to the desk again and the lady said they didn't bring them and I told her no. She said I will have to lock up and go get you some. Finally at 9:15 we got some blankets. I explained to her that the level of service was not acceptable, and she acted as if it was no big deal. Additionally we had a baby in the chilly room.

First no ice for 3 days-never had it fixed.
Second fought everyday to get 2 facecloths. Had problems in the past 2 years and the management always blamed the maids-found out this trip they only let them put on one face cloth for two people?
Yesterday came back after being out - trash still in the container. only one face cloth left, also dirty face cloth left on the floor, bed only partially made. Went to the front desk and they wouldn't take the dirty face cloth, I asked them to have the maid service come get it and the manager stated the maid service was limited on a holiday weekend and no maids were available? So dirty rooms even though we paid for the room.
Have stayed at this chain many times and had some problems but not bad for the price. This is the last time we will stay with them.

Checked in horrible manners at front desk, decided to go swimming and my 5 year old split his head wide open on the horrible tiling job in the pool. Had to phone ambulance no available towels near by went to front desk to ask for a towel as mh son was bleeding Guy rolled his eyes asked again he finally provided the towel then proceeded to tell me to make sure 'none of that drips on the floor, and make sure you put the towel in a bags' unbelievable no concerns. As to if my son was okay or if we needed assistance or an ambulance! Finally get home from my son receiving stitches and go to get ready for bed and my son pulls a shot gun shell out from under the side of the bed! Walk it to the front desk and again literally no concern. Never again motel 6!
Actually I was right beside my child when it happened. And no they didn't threaten to call the police at all. I have no idea how that first comment that says I was napping and they threatened to call police even got on here. So again how about instead of speakimg from complete ignorance you get the entire story. Not once in 5 years have either of my children ever been injured! This is the absolute first time
and to be clear I never posted that comment. Never once Loud my kids to go to the pool while I napped at all and I had just checked.km about 45 minutes befofe this happened.
Also they told me that they were going to call the police on me because i left my son in the pool unattended and was in my room napping. That children under 12 were not allowed in the pool alone. Well they have lifeguards. This was the day before when they told me next time they will call the police. Well what are lifeguards for?

Ok ive been staying at motel 6 1121 becuz me in my children are haveing some hard finaicial times, this motel charges you for wifi $4.99 for 24 hours. My son went down to office n purchesed wifi from Vicki, then he came back to room to connect and it says inssufdiant funds, him n i go back n she tells us to call 1.800 help number n they say the same no money on prepaid wifi card, so i ask her nicely to refund the money n she throws another wifi code at me so i go n try no working we go back to office n she gets rude, like yall are the only ones that cant hook up to wifi n saying our u sure ur not trying to get more then one code for more devices n only pay for 1, she finally returns his money n tells me now i have to sign all the paperwork i created by complaining bout wifi...she akso said no more wifi for us here. You know everyone else here is so nice to us n my teensagers just wanted a litte normalcy after what we have been going thru the last 3 months...

Made reservations online to travel down from Wv to Jacksonville, Nc to visit my son. Scheduled to arrive on 7/1/2017. Upon arrival to the front lobby I was notified that the outdoor pool was closed for "another inspection" one of the reasons we chose this place was because they had an outdoor pool.
As we were packing our bags upstairs there were roaches running along the stairs(as if it were a NASCAR race.) We get to the room only to find the toilet broken, the phone didn't work(found that out when I picked up the phone to call the front desk to report my toilet was broken), cat pee in the carpets, holes in the curtains, bubblegum on the curtains, HAIR that belonged to someone else in my bed. When I requested a linen change, they brought me the sheets for me to CHANGE MYSELF at 10pm. They promised to move us to another room yesterday 7/1/2017 and it's 7/2/2017 at 12:30pm and we are still in this nasty room.
The problem with moving from this motel to another, is that it's July 4th week and nothing else available. I've called all morning.

On june30, 2017 I check in a motel 6 in Pittsburgh ca, around 2am'ish, 3am I was confirm that I wouldn't be checking out at 12noon, not only that I was charge like 90'something dollars, 12noon came knock at the door check out time or are you staying another night, I call the front asking was there a mistake, the front clark stated no and I need to hurry down and pay because I'm late check out is at 12abd its a little after"mind you I just got the knock at the door"she let me know checkout is at noon at all motel's 6, no matter what time I check in, now I stop and ask a guy who was wearing a motel 6 shirt can I change my towels he pointed me where to go to change them, as I'm walking up to one of the maidserver repeating what the guy just told me she shook her head no then rudely turn around and grab me a little face towel"mind you I turnt in two big ones and one little one then rudely said"tell the other lady's to give you more, I do down here, I let her know again what the guy said and let her know the maid server haven't came to my door, its 3:02pm as I'm writing this complaint now and still no maid server came, "she then stated"he's not a cleaner he can't tell and walk off pushing her cart

On the second night when I tried to enter my room the key card didn't work. The hotel clerk said that I wasn't booked and they put all my belongings in the Lost & Found, including medication and food that was in a cooler. They refused to return them to me until the next day. I said I needed the contents tonight. They said the guy with the key went home. I said I would call the police, and at that point, the guy who went home, came back and returned my belongings. When I opened the cooler it was empty. I can understand throwing out goods that are perishable, but they also threw out unopened dry packages of nuts, cereal, bread and soda, etc., gel reusable ice packs and plastic sport bottles.
I would like to be reimbursed for what I had to replace int he cooler as well as the two nights they billed me for even though they said I wasn't booked for the second night.

2 night stay motel 6 in Lompoc CA, all hotels were booked up. Check in a breeze. The room was #171. The bed covers had burn holes in them from what appeared to be pot seeds popping from joints. The bath room had black mold by ceiling & top of shower. The bath tub floor had big chunks peeling up from it & was full of rust. I took pictures. Bathroom was so bad we did not take bath or shower during our stay. We wiped of with bath cloths wet in the sink. Sprayed beds with Lysol before getting in bed.

My Name is Joshua Ligon and I've been in your establishment at 1738 N Whitley Ave, Los Angeles, CA for about 2 weeks now. Myself and my cousin Andrew Keyes. Since I've been here, I've been receiving some of the worst service ever. And it's not from everyone, just two guys. They always give me problems. The one guy Manuel at the front desk has an ongoing issue with me. When I need keys for the room it's an issue. When my parking pass is prepaid for he doesn't give it to me. I work for a 4 star hotel and we will never treat a paying guest like this. We've had issues before, me and Manuel about the same things and he constantly does it. I don't want to be the angry customer but I will if need be. The parking guy also tells me I can't park in the lot when I clearly have a parking pass on my dashboard. This is becoming a major concern and issue. I'm trying my best to handle things professionally but when talking to the manager she doesn't care either. So I'm expressing my concerns to you. With the service I've been getting from this guy, he makes me want to fight. That's how bad it is.
refusal to honor my expedia reservation
On Friday June 23, 2017 I had a reservation through Expedia for a room at the Shepherdsville KY Motel 6 for a king room for $55.61 (the total with fees price). When I had made the original booking, there were 2 king single bed rooms and 9 double bed rooms available for the same $55.61 price. One of the friends that I was meeting up with asked me to inquire when I checked in if any of the double bed rooms were still available since he was starting to have second thoughts about his original arrangements. So, after waiting what seemed like forever (about 15 minutes) for a desk clerk when I checked in, I inquired about the double bed room and was told that one was available and that it would be $94.00 in which I immediately refused. I was then charged $74.00 if I wanted my original reservation back. I was not given any warning whatsoever that it would negate the original price of my reservation by your desk clerk and that it would result in a non-negotiable price from Jessica for me to get my original reserved price back and that was that! So, of course, I called Expedia to try and straightened what I automatically assumed was a misunderstanding. After about another 10 minute wait for Jessica to get back to the front desk, she finally made it back to answer the call from Expedia in which resulted in me looking for another room at another Motel that ended up costing me $30 more than my original booking. Also, I had arrived at your Motel 6 with pretty much a full bladder after driving a grueling 8 hours from Michigan mostly in heavy rain only to be refused a restroom by Jessica because I wasn't a customer. Anyway, after all was said and done, I ended up wasting over an hour trying to get a room while I had had three very hungry friends waiting for me to show up. Since their motorhome was already hooked up at the campsite down the road, they were depending on my car for transportation which is why I couldn't just meet them somewhere. I had never had to deal with anything like this before in my life and I have booked plenty of rooms over the years. I am almost 60 years old with a lot of road trips under my belt, especially now with so many of my closest friends and family living out of state now. I seriously doubt that I'll ever stay in a Motel 6 again unless not given any other choice. I am also wondering whether or not Jessica was just being incompetent with me or whether she was actually trained to treat me like she did...either way, this is now at least making for a fun story for me to relate to my many friends... reserved room not held for me and I was sent away at midnight without a room
I called from the road on Saturday 6/24/17 and reserved a room (confirmation # 1278M27012) for myself and 3 small children (2 of which are special needs) (Roanoke Rapids NC) I didn't get to the motel until a few minutes after midnight and entered with all 3 children and suitcases, only to be told that my information was taken and it was in the system, but the employee forgot to assign me a room and they were all booked. She told me this about 1minute after she swiped my bank card. She then couldn't stop the transaction and not only was I sent away without a room to travel exhausted until after 2 am with 3 small children, but I also was short 67.59 of my traveling money because I had to wait 2-3 days to get it back from you! This was an absolute horrible 1st experience with your company!
misleading/false information about providing an airport shuttle
My husband Eric Taylor stayed at your Motel 6 Seattle Sea-Tac Airport South location (18900 47th Avenue South) on 6/26/17.
Our MAJOR complaint with this location is all descriptions of this property say there is a complimentary airport shuttle. My husband has heart disease and some mobility impairment.
Since he had a flight from Seattle on 6/27, he went through major gyrations yesterday (on 6/26) to return his rental car a day early and take the Motel 6 airport shuttle back to the motel in the evening so that all he would need to do this morning (6/27) is get the airport shuttle to the airport.
When I call the front desk this morning (because his room has no phone), they tell me they NEVER have an airport shuttle on Tuesday. NO ONE told my husband this yesterday.in fact, my husband said to the shuttle driver, “See you in the morning, ” and the driver said, “Okay, see you in the morning.” Now we have the MAJOR inconvenience and expense of a $15 taxi ride to the airport.
We are extremely upset about this. My husband went to great lengths (with a mobility impairment) to return the rental car yesterday, take the rental car shuttle to the airport, find the courtesy area at the airport for the Motel 6 shuttle, call that shuttle, take that shuttle back to the Motel 6. It took him hours to do this IN ORDER TO only have an easy Motel 6 shuttle ride to the airport this morning. Nobody, nobody, nobody working at Motel 6 told him at any point that there wouldn’t be a morning shuttle. So instead of a stress-free morning, he’s now very stressed (which is harmful for someone with a heart condition and mobility impairment) and facing the unanticipated very expensive taxi fare.
If there are days when your properties NEVER provide a shuttle, that should be very clearly and emphatically stated in any and all property descriptions.
We are highly inconvenienced by this and are very angry about it. After everything my husband did yesterday, the last things we should be faced with are more stress and expenses. It's inexcusable.
Yes, I'd like a refund for his motel stay. I'd appreciate some action on your part to make this right. Very angry.

The room had roaches, the bathroom sink would not drain. There was 1 towel, no soap, shampoo. The microwave was nasty. Crumbs on the stand with microwave. It took 30 minutes to check in because the lady was not experienced enough. Called for towels never received them. I paid over 340$ for two nights. The floor was smelly. Smelled of mold or something. I'm not happy at all with my stay.

We stayed at motel 6 in temple Texas and it was filthy dirty the carpet had large stains and had not been vacuumed particles all over it. The ceiling in the bath area had mold on it. Should not be allowed to rent something so nasty.
Also the carpet in the hallway was also nasty.
We work hard for our money and should not have to spent it on something that dirty.

I booked two rooms for two nights at Motel 6 in Mason Ohio. Checked in first night refrigerator had been unplugged carpet was wet. Rooms smelled terrible. My fiancé woke up the next morning with suspicious (red dot) bites on feet and hands. We didn't think much of it until after our day at kings Island. Upon returning to our rooms the 2nd night. My daughter & her boyfriend comes knocking on my door saying dad we have bedbugs. Went over and looked & sure enough there were 3 bedbugs on their beds. After that I went back to my room removed the sheets from the mattress of the bed I had slept in last night. Atleast 10-15 bedbugs in the seams of our mattress. Went straight down stairs told the clerk we wanted to switch rooms that the two rooms I had just spent over $500 for the two night stay had bedbugs. The clerk not acting surprised at all said there's nothing I can do but leave a note for the manager. So we checked out at 2am for our 5 hour trip home. I know it's more than likely gonna be useless to complain or contact customer service. I'll never stay at this location again or another Motel 6 for that matter.

I was told by staff ok to grill on back of property . Then manager phil says 'absolutely not. Today commercial grill at pool with large group . Staff says manager Phil not here so ok . What is the message to the consumer. Me who has spent over 1500 over past three weeks at property? Is it ok to grill except when manager not present? If it is a large group at the pool grilling and not an individual it is ok ? Justice for all ?
broken air 93 degrees in room
I am in shock as I sweat sitting here in paducah today. I didn't get a bit of sleep, I have complained to three different people in the last 24 hours and they still haven't fixed our air. One worker said to shut it off for a few, didnt work, then another front desk employee came to check it out, SHE WALKED IN OUR ROOM WITH A LIT CIGARETTE RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY TWIN BABIES! I CANT EVEN BELIEVE THISS. we asked for another room and they said they we're booked but I seen many empty rooms at midnight when I walked out for air since it's cooler outside. I paid 76$ to stay here. And this is how they run this place? Not even an apology!
bed bug bites!!
I just spent 2 nights at the motel 6 SeaTac and am covered in suspicious bites under my arm pit on my breast and shoulder. We stayed at the location as my husband had a job convention and staying In a 200+$/ night hotel was not an option. The location was very shady...lots of " interesting " folks coming and going...the staff must be used to the questionable people as they seemed very unfriendly. I'm extremely grossed out that Im cover in over 15 individual bites from just 2 nights...i head home tomorrow and I'm concerned about my luggage! How am I to know if these filthy creature are now hitching a ride back to Canada with Me?!
I stayed in 213 and need this to be addressed very soon. I feel the need to share this information publicly if it's not handled, because this is why these disgusting pests spread ...nobody takes care of the problem.

-We had a reservation (made 3 weeks beforehand) for a Queen sized bed with fridge and free coffee, and were given 2 single beds, no fridge and no coffee, with no room change possibility (we asked the clerk).
-We had a reservation for 2 nights, and the second one, our keys (both of them) were disabled. We had to ask the clerk to reactivate them, which was a GREAT pleasure for her (insert sarcasm here).
-There was a group of people (which had rooms in the motel), for 2 days straight, constantly drinking at the entrance and the lobby. The same people made inappropriate remarks to my wife.
-The clean-up in our room was obviously botched (bed covers badly placed, towels not switched).
-2 of the 3 clerks in the lobby we saw obviously did not like their job there since they never smiled, barely speaked to us. They had a bad attitude overall.
-Windows were not cleaned, we saw kid handprints everywhere on them.
