I had a room last Sunday and the fire alarms kept going off all night long, I was unable to get any sleep at all! Then when I complained to a woman named Trish she was rude and hung up on me! They also only cleaned my room 1 time in 12 days! Filthy room, the bathroom floor had paint on it, the caulking was terrible, and just a nasty place! I asked for my money back and was told they don't refund ! Poor service, people congregated at front door of business every day and night! Then people park in handicap spots with out tags! Place is awefull!

When I entered the lobby to check in the floor was filthy and there were cockroaches on the floor. When I got to my room, the sheets on one bed had hair on the sheets and what looked like pubic hair! The carpet was disgusting, dirty and very worn. The bathroom was filthy! The floor had not been swept or mopped. The toilet had a nasty dark yellow brown ring in it and you could tell he had not been cleaned. I wish I could attach pictures to this complaint as I took several. Even the shower curtain had stains on it. Very disgusting and had it not been midnight and the fact I was exhausted, I would have asked for my money back and gone else where. I will never stay at a motel 6 again ever! You should be ashamed to have a motel in this condition!

Motel 6 located at 1585 Sycamore View Rd. Memphis TN 38134. Azi Aamar is listed as the General Manager who was of no help and, could never be found or he had to be tracked down. The television reception was lousy and the cleaning crew was useless, they didn't do any cleaning. They had to be tracked down and asked just to empty the trash cans in each room. The overall service and everything involving our 3 day stay was miserable!😝😡😠

I have gone to the Indianapolis 500 57 consecutive years. this is the first
time I have stayed at a motel 6. for 56 years I get a self address envelope
from the post office with the required postage. apprx $7. I guess I'm from
the trustworthy generation. anyway I did as I have done for 56 years and
gave the desk clerk at bash st, Indianapolis (ne) the envelope along with
5 dollars for their trouble and another $1.50 for the may 29th recap of the
indy 500(Indianapolis star) and have it mailed to me. the gray haired gentleman said consider it
done. I didn't know when he said consider it done that he was pulling a
con job on me and kept the entire amount of money and postage envelope. I only stay at motel 6 about 5 times a year, but if my 4 children

On June 4th, 2017, my boyfriend and I took a taxi to the Motel 6 in East Aurora. We did not have reservations, we just walked in. Actually, I walked in by myself and my boyfriend waited with the taxi so it wouldn't leave (in case there were no vacancies). The person at the front desk was the day manager named Cathy. She said she had a room with two double beds and I said that was fine. The total came to $101.01. I paid $1.01 in cash and put the remaining $100 on my debi card but it went thru as credit. After the transaction was complete, she started telling me the "rules", one of which was that any person besides myself that goes into the room had to check in at the front desk with an I.D. At that point, I went outside to see if my boyfriend had his ID with him but he did not. I went back inside the motel and approached the front desk. I explained that he didn't have an ID so we couldn't stay there. I explained that she did not tell me the detail about extra guests needing to check in with an ID until AFTER I had paid. Nor, at any time did she ask me how many guests were staying in the room. She may have assumed it was only me because I was standing there alone. I told her that I wanted my money back and she agreed to process the refund as a courtesy due to the circumstances. However, she said it would take up to 3 days to be refunded to my account. I cried because I desperately needed that money back right away so I could have a place to stay that night. I mention this only because me crying makes me think that the whole incident would stick out in her mind and was memorable. When I left the front desk, I was still crying and upset and was under the impression that she had already started the refund process on her end so I would just need to wait it out. As of today, the money is still not in my account. I've called several times to speak with Cathy but she was never available. Today, I finally got a hold of her. I attempted to refresh her memory by repeating what happened. She said she did not remember me! This surprised me because I know she deals with a lot of people every day, but i imagined my "incident" doesn't happen everyday. She then put me on hold for 6 minutes and then I was disconnected. When I called back, a clerk at the front desk answered and refused to let me speak to the manager again. She said, "Kathy told me that you did stay in the room that night so you are not getting a refund." When I calmly explained that this was a mistake and I did not stay in the room because my boyfriend didn't have an ID, she cut me off and rudely stated, "I'm not going to listen to you tell at me." She then hung up on me. I was in no way yelling or loud. So the manager goes from saying she refunded my money but it takes 3 days to post to my account, then says she doesn't remember me after that time period passed, and finally to saying I in fact stayed at the hotel which is a lie because my boyfriend didn't have identification. If u check the surveillance video, you will see that I never went to the elevators. I went to the front desk and then back outside into a cab and drive away. The only way to access the rooms is via the front desk so what she is claiming us impossible and ridiculous. Why does Motel 6 refuse to acknowledge that I did not stay in the hotel and will not speak to me or refund my money? This is no way to run an establishment. In fact, it's fraud. I was charged for services I never received. Plus she supposedly had already processed the refund that night. Additionally, there was a security guard standing there so if u ask him I guarantee he can back up my facts because he was standing right next to me. I want my money back and fast. We have been traveling around the region for the last month working and staying at various hotels in different towns. The other day we stayed at a Motel 6 in Bremerton, WA. The room was clean and in nice condition and overall a decent experience.
We decided to try Motel 6 again when we traveled back down to Pierce County, WA. We reserved a room online and arrived at the Fife, WA location late in the evening. Upon arrival we were told they didn’t have any rooms available. The girl at the counter said to us “ I don’t know how the hell you booked a room online, we are completely full” We were exhausted and needed to get some sleep and back out early for work. She fiddled around for a bit on the computer and then told us she had one room left we could have. We got checked in and went to our room only to find the most disgusting odor ever experienced in a motel room. Keep in mind we have been traveling for work and we have been staying in budget lodging at every city we visit. We simply need a place to sleep and shower before heading out for work again. The point being our standards are not high, but this experience has opened our eyes to just how bad it can be. When we inquired about the odor we were told that was a smoking room and that was all that was available. She also told us she would Not refund our money if we wanted to leave. We had to go to the store and purchase disinfectant and odor spray to try and make the room tolerable. We both agreed that there was something more than just stale smoke stinking up the room. Once we got settled we pulled the blankets back on the bed only to find the sheets were dirty and the bed was full of hairs – Disgusting! I went to the bathroom and found the shower and toilet seat also covered with hairs. We called down to complain again and the best they could offer was for us to come to the front desk for new sheets.
At this point I was not feeling up to sleeping in that disgusting bed so I got my laptop out to do some work – of course the wifi doesn’t work either. I had to tether my cell phone to get internet service.
This morning I got up thinking I would have been better off sleeping in my car. We were just going to move on and chalk it up to experience but then all day today I’ve been itching little red bumps all over. I am covered in some kind of very small, itchy bug bites of some sort. Now I need to interrupt my work schedule to go see my doctor.
We are completely appalled at the condition of this location and the manner in which we were treated. This is a heavy traffic area and the local lodging is always at capacity. We just cannot believe that a national franchise like this would let their place go so far when there is obviously plenty of revenue to keep it updated and hire decent, respectable staff.
Neither myself nor anyone associate with my company will ever stay at a Motel 6 again. I wish I could find the words strong enough to make it understood just how bad of an experience this was, but this will have to do. I would ask for a refund but even that at this point would probably seem insulting to me. Everything I brough into that room reeks of some un-earthly odor and I am freaking out about going to the doctor to find out what the heck is all over my body now.

I paid for a checkin date of [protected]. I was unable to make it for that date due to unforeseen circumstances. When I requested a refund I was told that I should have called and cancelled so I was charged for a room I didn't use. I was told that I would not be charged for the room until I checked in. I made the reservation by phone and was not told that the 82.00 dollars would still be charged. Needless to say I am upset...I feel I should be refunded my money..😏
That's standard for all hotels. Why should you be treated special?

On May 26, 2017 I booked a room at the Motel 6 at 6311 Central City Blvd, Galveston, TX., before we went on our cruise.
When my husband and I walked into the room it had a bucket under the air conditioner (which my husband had to empty), it also had water on the floor, holes in the wall, door jam dented in and rusted, chair had stains on it, toilet seat not on completely.
I paid $144.85 for this room and it was just down right disgusting. I feel we should get a refund for this. I just can't believe they rented this room out to us let alone anyone else.

Owner is mean and rude. He had a new employee, and obviouly didnt teach her how he wanted things, instead, he proceeded to yell at her...
I heard him ask her how she was doing, she replied with doing good just trying to hurry up so i can go home and eat.
He then yelled at her saying he ia not having emploees tell him when they ate hungry she better eat before she cones to work. Then yelled at her for not having 8 rooms done in 15 minutes. It takes a person longer than that to throughly clean a room. This is unexceptable. You need to replace him with a calmer owner. This is not the first time i have heard this from this place. No wonder he always needs help.

He will not buy any more sheets or other linens. They are all stained. Also seen bed bugs. All from danville illinios location. This is gross! You need to do something about this! The employees should not be treated that way! Poor girl was crying because she disnt understand why she was getting yelled at for simply saying she was hungry! You better fix this and that emploee should get some type of apology and extra pay for dealing with that! She was not even a housekeeper. He hired her for front desk! He works them to the bone and treats them like total garbage! Complaining about room 146 Cleveland ave. Santa Rosa CA. The room had been smoked in before. Tub didn't drain. Dirt on the floor. No table and chairs. Was probably the worst experience I've had with motel 6 ever. Completely unsatisfactory experience. I will probably never stay in one of your motels due to this experience. Unless you somehow make it right with me.

I want to make a complaint against the Motel 6 in Ontario Oregon. We booked a room last night for a one night stay and it all seemed well enough. When we got to the room it seemed clean but had an odd smell. When my sister went to shower the water would not stay hot, and there were holes in the towels. All of them.
We decided not to make a fuss over it and continued our evening as we had not seen eachother in a very long time. But at 6am the front desk called about a mistake that was made with my debit card when we checked in. She said i needed to come down right away to get it fixed because she had another job she had to go to in 5minutes. Very tired and annoyed, i got dressed and got my room key to head to the office (all of 2 minutes) and she called again. I assured her i was coming down and she was very impatient. After get that sorted i went back to the room and figured i should just get ready for the day. Still no reliable hot water for a shower.
About 2hours after checking out i get a call on my cell that they will be calling the police for "damages" to the bed? They say there is a small color stain that they cant get out. The only color thing in the room was childs hair chalk that comes out with water and shampoo because i forgot to take it out of my purse (my childs hair chalk) and the CLOSED container had landed on the bed when i lay my purse down.
This is rediculous! "Damages" is broken furniture, paint or marker on walls, that leaning and unsafe uppersidewalk on the second floor by our room. Not a water soluable chalk fleck smaller than the size of my pinky nail.

Ppl spray painting in the parking lot and doing it towards cars. Mine had paint over spray all over the back if it cuz someone that was doing that. Fight broke out when me and my pregnant wife got to motel 6 in Salem Oregon on hawthorn st. And my car was hit. Ppl running past rooms late at night. Came to the area to be with family on may 23 2017 as it was the same day my mother passed away. What a [censor] service and horrible stay and by far the worst stay ever I have always gone to this location as its convenient for me.
Me and my wife both have been regular guest and feel like this us the worst stay ever. Would like to be compasated for that night we stayed there.

i spent a night on 5/27/2017 at the Winter Park motel 6...I think I would have been better off sleeping in the street, but there was no other option available being a weekend holiday. As soon as i walked in the room, the smell of marijuana was overwhelming... not only someone had clearly been smoking it in the room, but people was constantly outside smoking pot...in and out of their cars, right across from my door. The floor was stained and dead roaches, large and small where everywhere. No decent towels and the two small ones that were there, had long black hair hanging out of the folds...same situation for the bed sheets, where not only I found head hair, but clearly hair belonging to other body parts ...I had to use my own towels, a plastic shopping bag to place a few personal items on the dirty shelve and a sheet I had packed with me. Slept just enough to be able to get back on the road and absolutely refused to take a shower in a tub that had all sorts of dead insects and human hair stuck on the surface. Although the personnel at the front-desk was absolutely exquisite and nice, the sanitary condition of the room was despicable and unacceptable. The worst stay of my entire life. I'd like a refund because given my experience I will never stay at a motel 6 ever again!

Horrible rooms management was very nasty when I brought my issue to his attention I was inconvenience had to switch rooms then get to the second room and had to make my own bed I complain that there might have been bed bugs and the first room which is room 524 took pictures after being switched to the second round sheets with dirty had to go back to the front desk to get sheets and make my own bed speaking with the general manager Bill McKee who is very rude sing a bit racist and really had no interest in my discomfort and horrible stay you. I understand this is no Hilton but customer service is key when you are in this business he did nothing to try to accommodate me I'm a frequent visitor and I come from New Jersey to the Philadelphia Essington PA Motel 6. You expect a little decency when you spend your money because without the customer there would be no business I'm pretty sure you could have handled the situation a little differently but I truly believe because of the color of my skin I was treated the way I was treated there's no excuse for the things you said I'm extremely frustrated and will never recommend Motel 6 or nor will I stay there again and this is because of management and how situations are handled when people spend their money to give you guys business

I would like to lodge a complaint against Motel 6 North, Sunnyvale, CA.
I am a Veteran and was quoted $120.32 including taxes for one night with two beds. It was 2 adults. I received a confirmation for the amount of $120.32. Once we got to the Motel to check in we were told the room rate was $126.89 and the total for the night would be $140.38. I have been going to that Motel for years and it has never deviated from what was confirmed. We were told Corporate is the one changing the amount depending on whether the Motel was full or not. If you are quoted a price and followed up with a confirmation, that is what should be charged when you arrive. I asked for the Corporate Phone Number and they didn't have it. The gal said she looked it up on google and gave me a number that was wrong. Because of this, I will never stay at this Motel 6 again and will make sure my friends and family are aware of your business practice.

management and "cleaning" of the room
My husband and I are in transition having just moved to Klamath Falls Oregon from Alaska. We have been in the motel 6 for three weeks. I have often just asked that the floors be cleaned (we have a large hairy dog) and usually ask that towels be changed. It's a problem for me to leave the room as I have multiple health issues and my medication is in the room. I stand outside by the window so that can keep an eye on my medication and my purse. Today I had my cigarettes in my hand and was told in a nasty manner that I couldn't smoke even though I pay for a smoking room. Being already frustrated and in pain (they promised to clean my room first as they never even knocked on the door yesterday so hadn't taken my medication) and it was already noon I threw my cigarettes onto the bed. The housekeeper started screaming at me that I threatened her! I am visibly frail which makes that a joke. She went and got the manager and they both proceeded to tell at me saying how rude I was to staff whom I had been very friendly with even though they didn't do their jobs and all I had done was complaining. I asked the manager to take a look under the bed, she refused. She continued her tirade for probably ten minutes during which time I was still standing, beginning to shake badly then told me that when my husband gets back we have to leave! Lucky me! We only planned on staying longer because we're paid through the 29th. We will see if I get the promised refund! When paying $430 a week I don't think it's too much to ask that the room be thoroughly cleaned at least once! Besides the aforementioned bathroom issues not once was anything dusted and today was the first time anyone so much as moved the chair when doing the floors! Between the poor housekeeping and the rude management I can't get out of here soon enough! I have stayed at other motel6 locations but it won't happen again! Even the misnamed customer care doesn't care that this location is giving them a bad name! I wouldn't recommend that anyone stay here unless they want poor housekeeping, a refrigerator that self defrosts so often that anything in the freezer thaws completely and management that is rude! Most of the maids were nice enough, they just don't do much of a job cleaning! Almost forgot that they never have needed supplies such as enough clean linens, plastic cups, tp etc and the signal for the tv is terrible!

Have been a longtime customer since March 12 every day as I have been in transition with my family and cannot come up with the upfront deposit to get a place to rent so this being the best option we expect to get great customer service since were here to stay thus making the company longterm money. This location off of downey has had the worst management yet. Theyre protocol for procedures are rediculous. About four days into stay I paid the full amount of weekend rate which was after taxes $92.73 each weekend night (fri, sat)-after paying for room around noon the maids knocked 3 times throughout day, woke up my napping babies TWICE so found out they didnt update their housekeepers room list-the second housekeeper knocked as she was opening the door and I had to slam the door back beause my dog was right at the door. These housekeepers need to have a walkie talkie and to note their room listed clipboard that the customer just paid another night - to NOT STEP INTO ROOM WITH PAYING CUSTOMERS. Then the a/c stopped working around 9p at night, with it being humid 80degrees, and the only option they gave me was switch rooms - which is an inconvienience since were practically living in this room with two kids and a dog. Declined room switch and wanted a discout for next day since the maintenance man couldnt fix it with the two minutes he spent in room looking at the a/c stating he was off work at 9pm so he would come back in morning at 11am. With it not working the manager on duty stated he would note in file we could get dicount next day. I waited for the morning and noshow at 11a had to call front desk and was It didnt get fixed till 12p next day and did not recieve refund or discount for next day, knowing my family will have spent over $725 in room amount. They dont do weekly rates so if a customer has been staying over a week I feel they should pay regular weekly rate like the other motel6 had done in Oregon and we just paid a weekly rate of $356 . Here its $350 for five days and weekend rtes are $187 for TWO DAYS. Its impossible to stay here with spending that amount every day. Customers that come and go should get regular rate while the long stays should get a discounted weekly rate. Very dissapointed with how they treat theyre customers.

i payed for a week stay at the Hammond Indiana motel 6 for my wife while I'm in business. she called me 3 days into the week that the room she was in was smelling a lot of marijuana, and that her toilet wasn't flushing I called the desk and an unprofessional employee name don said its none of his business what people do at the hotel and that for the toilet there was nobody to fix the toilet, so I told him how my wife and kids suppose to use toilet he reply "that's not his business"
