My sales rep assured me the crew was skilled in handling the satellite dish installation
My sales rep assured me that the crew knew what they were doing when taking down and then putting the satellite dish back in place. I was worried and was told many times it would be fine. No, it was not fine as I have no service. I spent 30 minutes on the phone with customer support before they agreed something was wrong. The soonest they could come out was 1 week later. I was told they would be careful and take all kinds of precautions. However, there are long black marks all over the back of the house. They also broke a wooden post top on my porch. After I complained, I was told that it is normal for technicians to come back out and it is not their fault or responsibility to ensure I am satisfied because I signed the contract which stated they will not take any responsibility for damages. They wanted pictures and proof that I was not lying about the siding. I was promised that someone would come out to inspect the work and ensure my satisfaction. That never happened. The roof looks great, but broken posts, black streaks, and no service for a week is not a good trade-off. Once you sign the contract, you're screwed. They will ghost you like they did me. Be careful.

Never received email copy of contract after giving salesman $580 deposit
Never received email copy of contract after giving salesman $580 deposit. 3 weeks after giving deposit, gutter subcontractor showed up to do half of work discussed with salesman. Called company and they said that was what contract showed and salesman would have to straighten things out. Salesman called 2 days later and said it was a misunderstanding. Told him I never received copy of contract. Said he emailed, but no such email found in my inbox, spam or trash folder. Asked him to email another copy of contract, but never received. Scheduler called about a week later and could not describe full extent of work to be done as discussed with salesman. She became angry as I insisted on confirming full extent of work to be done and she hung up on me. Same scheduler called back a week later to schedule work and I told her I didn't want company to do the work as there was no written contract provided and I couldn't be sure the work would be done as discussed with salesman. She said salesman should have given me a copy of the contract when I gave him the deposit. Said salesman would contact me to discuss refund. Haven't heard from salesman in over a week since scheduler called. Roof has now been leaking since before August 2 when salesman came to give quote. Just want deposit refunded at this point.
Mr. Roof put a roof on my garage and separately replaced the top of my chimney. Very pleased with the work, speed, and professionalism of both teams. Office staff was easy to communicate with and friendly, able to get answers to questions quickly when they didnt have the information at hand. Cost was not bad either, which only helps, right?
Shingles are covering most of the gutters. They destroyed existing gutter protection even though I had in the contract that they would work around it. *** give me an estimate of $7,000 to fix what Mr. destroyed. They came out to look and promised to install Mr. gutter .protection They will not return my phone calls and they have done nothing to help remedy the problem they created.
Damaged small part of my driveway and haven't fixed it over a month. I should have not made my dad's second payment. I wish I could upload a photo on here.
While it hasnt been but a couple days since my roof was completed, I have had nothing but a great experience and hope that doesnt change. Our salesman was straight forward and honest. He did mention that they would do their best to put my dish back in as close as a position as it was before and I may need to contact my provider to align it. When the workers arrived, they were extremely courteous, professional and efficient. The team leader asked if I had any questions about the job and spoke with me before replacing any boards that were not already covered in the original cost. Just waiting for the inspector to come out and review the work that was completed. Overall it was a great experience from start to finish, to include the price.
My home needed new soffits so I contacted Able Roof for an estimate
My home needed new soffits so I contacted Able Roof for an estimate. I was quoted what I thought was a reasonable price on March 18. I was contacted on March 29th that their workr would arrive on March 30 to complete the work of installing new soffits. I had a doctors appointment that day and when I returned the worker was getting ready to leave. I pulled in the garage and when I came out to talk to the worker he drove away. I then proceeded to check on the work done only to find out that ONLY the top was done and not the lower level of my 2 story home. I called the worker on his cell phone and he informed me that he was told the contract only involved the upper level. I informed him that is not what I contracted for. I wanted all soffits done upper AND lower. He informed me that he would contact CHARLES K, my sales person, who wrote the contract and have him or someone else from ABLE ROOFING to get in touch with me because he was just the sub-contractor. I did go reread my contract and the words "upper" had been added to my contract and I did not see them when I "signed" on his i-pad. Only when I printed out the contract later, March 31st, did I see the word "upper" was added by Mr K. I know this ended up being my mistake and my good deal ended as a very expensive lesson to me to always REread my contract before I do sign them.
Another great experience with Mr. This is my third time utilizing their services and once again I was not disappointed. The salesman was punctual, explaining the different options without any pressure. The installation crew arrived early and performed an amazing job, which is why I always recommend Mr. to friends and family!
My new appliances were installed in June . I had a fantastic experience from start to finish with Mr. Smith of Nashville! And when I had to make a recent call for a possible chimney leak issue, I received excellent service once again! Project Manager John came out the same day I called to share my concerns. Not only did John inspect every piece of the chimney, including the flashing and the cap, he treated me kindly, respectfully, and provided honest and helpful feedback. It was a true pleasure working with John and the amazing team at Mr. Smith's.
Very professional and hard working. Did a great job, cleaned up well, asked several times if I had any questions.
Great roofing job by a hard working crew. The roof looks incredible. They did the complete job in 1 day and didn't leave any mess behind.

Very impressed with the *** Corning product together with Mr. cooling layering product and chimney flashing product not to mention solar ventilation. Joses installation crew was specifically requested because of his well-ran and respectful crew in their efficiency and timeliness. Mr. initial salesperson fell through and Im grateful I persisted to reach out to customer service who did an amazing job with resolving my initial sales situation.I personally sought out Mr. for their Maserati high end roofing product as they did two roofs for my brother-in-laws family with beautiful results and satisfaction. I also, in turn, referred two other homeowners. One in which got the same high-end product roofing with installation this past week. The referral homeowner stated two days after the new roof installation, there was a huge difference with homes cool comfort with the hot weather of 95 degrees two days after installation. Their roof was also installed by *** roofing crew. Additionally, Mr. provides a small referral fee to homeowners and my brother-in-law is well deserved. My referral to my friend needed no overview of Mr. based on the results of these previous installation and my own due diligence with Mr.. Four new Maserati roofs installed with very happy homeowners. How many people do you know that get excited over a new roof. I recommend the high-end roofing product by Mr. warmly referred to as the Maserati roof.

Omg, the salesperson was great and gave me an excellent deal. The workers work very hard and completed the job even though they were short two workers. Also came out in less than 24 hours. Another company said it would take four weeks and their prices were very high. They also mentioned that I was going to choose another service provider because they couldn't match their deals!
Very prompt and communicative. Work was done professionally with very good quality. Clean up was very thorough.
Excellent job thank You. Salesperson was wonderful, workers were outstanding! Was so happy I was practically in tears!
Excellent Expedient Efficient! Our roof looks great. Thank you Mr. Smith and hats off to John and his crew, and Mike and Jake!
Mr. of Alpine in a certain town cheated me and stole roofing material I paid for
Mr. of Alpine in a certain town cheated me and stole roofing material I paid for. Overestimated the roofing material needed for the job. Used less square footage for my roof but billed me for more. The project manager loaded excess shingles and other materials into a company truck. When asked about a credit for the surplus, he dismissed it as waste. Thus, I paid for building materials now on another's house. Customers are inadvertently purchasing materials I financed. Misled on shingle layers by a salesman, I ended up overpaying for the job. Charged extra for a repair without a clear cost, I was told it would be added to my loan without worry. They damaged my gutters and siding, and when reported, the response was indifferent. The manager rarely visited the site and was preoccupied with other projects. The number of laborers was inconsistent, with some leaving for hours. Workers had long shifts with only a lunch break. My complaints to the office were met with silence, and my calls were eventually blocked. When I pointed out installation issues, I was met with a shrug. I never received a materials list for my job. I cannot recommend doing business with this company, as they lack customer service. Additionally, most workers seemed to have a language barrier, with only the crew leader fluent in English.
We hired *** to install a new roof and skylight for our home a few months back
We hired *** to install a new roof and skylight for our home a few months back. They were great at first, came out and installed the roof quickly and when we noticed an issue with the skylight leaking, we called them and they were out to fix it very shortly after. A month went by and we started to notice the siding on the chimney did not look secure. We got up on the roof and saw that there were holes in the siding as it was not properly installed when the roof was replaced. The original piece of siding should have been removed and replaced once they were done working on that section of the roof and flashing. However, they cut pieces out of the siding in order to put the roof in place. The flashing is not flush and the pieces cut out of the siding cause gaps in between the siding and roof, allowing for water to enter in the chimney and subsequently, into the house. Also, the siding that is in place, was not correctly fastened after roof install, causing the pieces of siding the ability to shift. We have made several calls and left voicemails with no return contact. In the recent days, we got strong winds, which caused the siding the fly off of the chimney into our yard and our neighbors yard due to them not being properly fastened. There is now a giant hole in the chimney that will cause severe internal and structural damage if we have any rain since it is going directly into the house. We have placed numerous calls today and made it very clear that it is an urgent matter as we are expected to receive rain tonight but we have not received any responsive communication. It seems that since we have paid the invoice in full - they no longer value us as customers or care to provide services to fix their original mistake. Im highly disappointed because we now have a high chance of significant damage due to the customer negligence.

I had Mr
I had Mr. come out for a roof estimate in late December . I was told that all debris would be cleaned up and my gutters would be cleaned out 'and look like new' from the Project Consultant. When the roof was installed January 2022, upon completion, I asked the Project Manager if the gutters were cleaned. He said "We cleaned our debris but there is still previous debris in the gutters." I explained to him that the Project Consultant promised the gutters would be cleaned. He said "my guys have already left so I will contact 'Project Consultant' to discuss". I refused to pay the remainder of the roofing *** until the gutters were cleaned, because I was promised they would be. The Project Manager later came out to do the job himself, but said they were so bad it would take him all day. I again, refused to pay the final ***. I never heard from the Project Consultant again, and thus the Accounts Receivable contact became my ONLY contact. He offered $400 off the *** as the Project Consultant said that is how much it would probably cost to clean the gutters. In April 2022 I had a company come out to clean the gutters. One downspout was clogged with shingle debri and roofing nails, and all the gutters had numerous debri and nails in them as well. Recall I was told by the Mr. Project Manager that their debris had been cleaned out, it was not. I was promised by the Project Consultant the gutters would 'look like new'. At that point, I just wanted to pay the *** and not be sent to collections, so I agreed on the $400 off the final ***. When you pay $18k for a new roof, and promise to clean the gutters, just do what you promised you would do. I am so disappointed in their resolution of the gutter issue and the no response I received from the Project Consultant that sold me the roof and made the promises. On the bright side, the roof looks great.

After some damage to our siding from a recent storm, we decided to replace all of our siding
After some damage to our siding from a recent storm, we decided to replace all of our siding. We obtained several bids, and Mr. had good reviews, used quality materials, gave a competitive bid and could start within several weeks. Project was scheduled. We were then contacted; project was pushed back due to weather, and in all fairness we had had a lot of rain. Project rescheduled. Contacted again to push back project. Contact person confided that they had counted on an additional crew, that did not materialize. So, I took this to mean that too many jobs got booked. Rescheduled for the third time. Finally started 2 months late. Day 1: started at 11:30 AM. Day 2: started at 09:50AM, day 3: 10:35AM and day 4: 10:00AM. Originally told that it would take three days, but now, longer. Most projects we have done have *** starts. Now for the bad part. Came home from dinner to find multiple nails through the bedroom wall, that they were working on as we left for dinner. I spoke with project manager *** and his manager, *** and I asked just to be clear, nails through the walls are acceptable?" and both stated that per the contract, that is acceptable damage that they are not responsible for. They did offer to patch with drywall mud. Buyer beware.I will check with company policy, but workers smoked (on the job, not just on breaks) frequently. Poor cleanup on some days, with nails and cigarette butts on our back patio: yard was supposed to be cleaned daily. Gate to backyard was left open first 2 days, until we had to remind them to close it. We have a dog and we found this a real issue. Just had house painted and lots of dirty smudges on trim. Also, there was no consideration for our landscaping. Scrap thrown over plants and one Japanese maple was destroyed. Silicone caulk on multiple places on patio that required professional cleaning. I understand weather delays. Not professional at all. In short, I would not recommend or use again.

So, 7 years ago I got a roof from Mr Roof
So, 7 years ago I got a roof from Mr Roof. Paid an additional $3500 to get the grand and glorious " caddilac of roofs" as the salesman called it Thunderguard roof. problem 1. Told I would get ridge vents and that ridge vents are way better than box vents. Well, when the roof was installed they didnt put on ridge vents but re used my old box vents. Guess what? Now, according to the salesman Box vents are way better than ridge vents. Funny how that changed. Not one cent returned to me. 2. Nails and debris left everywhere. Found em in my yard for months. Real safe. 3. the yearly roof tune up I was promised, happened one time in 7 years and thats after I called like 20 times with an emergency leak ( oh yeah, my glorious rubber roof was leaking after only 7 years). So now 7 years later I need a new roof. Guess what?' the grand and glorious rubber roof you paid extra for doesnt cover hail and wind damage, read that really fine print. Guess what's gonna more than likely make you need a new roof? Storm damage. The warranty doesnt cover winds past 65 mph. How do they know how fast the winds were? The girl on the phone at Mr Roof told me they have their ways. Funny, the salesman who came out just climbed up there and said it won't be covered under warranty. No special tools, nothing. so 3. I decided to have Mr Roof quote me a new roof. Once their shifty, seedy ,salesman finds out there's insurance money involved he won't quote a price. He wants to see the insurance amount and he wants you to commit to using him on there spot. No getting other quotes. He literally refused to quote me a price. Started looking around saying I'll get them to pay for this and that and that. Shady as can be. Finally after weeks I get a quote.I knew I wasn't going to use them but wanted to see anyway. They were offering free insulation with a new roof, but I won't get that he says, that costs this much more. So do you get free insulation with a new roof like they advertised?" No, no you dont, which is false advertising but honestly from this group of crooks I'm not surprised. So my quote, starts at $17, 850, starts, there, it will be more based on what he gets approved and finds he says. My other quotes from other companies are at about $10,000 total, out the door. Salesmans reply to that when I told him. " But our roof is better". Folks, this is the same awesome roof I'm replacing 7 years after having it put on. Do yourself a huge service and go with a different company. Dishonest crooks at Mr. Roof. I gave them 1 star, wish there was a negative star to give.
We had 4 companies give us bids on our large (84 Square) and steep roof along with gutter replacement
We had 4 companies give us bids on our large (84 Square) and steep roof along with gutter replacement. I granted the bid to Able because I had had two of my co-workers have their roofs done by Able and they were very positive in their experience. The work was completed on April 16 by 6 hardworking men. I did have trouble communicating with them since only one of them spoke some broken English. I was told that our three skylights would need to be replaced with the new roof because they were 21 years old and they didn't want to take a chance of them leaking. When they were removed, however, I was told that they were in great shape. The old ones were Pella brand. After the job was completed, I walked our yard and driveway. I had a long magnet on a metal arm and gathered over half a coffee can full of staples and nails. Most of these were on the driveway where we could easily have put a nail through a tire. Wrappers from the shingles were blown into our *** and I am still finding trash from their work. An oil stain was left on our front walk where they put their air compressor. They could have easily sat it on a piece of cardboard or something to protect our walk. Some of the landscaping was smashed as they walked all over it and threw shingles from the roof down to the ground on their tarps. The new skylights were not as deep as the original so they had to send a subcontractor down to place trim boards inside the house so you didn't see the unfinished edge of drywall. While he was here, he said that all he did full-time was go around fixing their mistakes. We never had a leak before for 21 years but a couple weeks after the new roof was installed we saw a *** spot show up in our breakfast nook! I called our project manager, ***, on Friday and he returned my call on Monday. He came and looked at the leak and sent one of the guys, who didn't speak English, to fix it. The worker brought a large tube of caulk and used it all and said it was fixed. Some broken shingles were noticed at that time and he said he didn't have any shingles with him and he would come back on Saturday. Needless to say, he never showed up on Saturday. I called *** and told him that the money I spent on this roof for a 35 year shingle and he fixes the problem with perhaps a 10 year tube of caulk was unacceptable. He later sent another guy down who tore off the shingles in that area and installed new flashing and shingles. He said he would send someone down to paint our kitchen ceiling but it is August 31st and we have not seen or heard from anyone. This company promises customer service but falls way short on their delivery. I can only imagine that I will not hear from them again because they got their money and have forgotten their promise to take care of the *** spot on our breakfast nook. I would not recommend them. The other roofing companies may have been my best choice.
Mr. Roof, Able Roofing & Contractors Complaints 12
Horrible workmanship on our siding
Horrible workmanship on our siding. After they had someone come back out and work on some of the complaints they still neglect the cosmetics. Ok losing battle there. They left a HUGE mess and completely destroyed our landscaping and refuse to clean it up! Thousands of nails, garbage and debris have been picked up. Now we still have sharp shards of aluminum all over but also millions of paint chips. So, underneath the siding where there is aluminum trim there is fascia board. When it was originally built, the builder painted the fascia board to protect the wood against mold and mildew. Typically then they used lead based paint because it worked great to protect the wood. The problem comes when the paint is disturbed like it was. With the home being 60 years old, the paint just flaked off as they removed the old aluminum trim. The flaked all over our landscaping are most likely lead based paint! We want Mr Roof to clean up the job or pay to have it cleaned up. We got a quote of $1700 to clean up their HUGE mess! In the meantime our dogs and kids are being exposed to this as is our neighborhood. Also, the sharp shards of metal all over and nails are going to injure someone! The VP will not budge and is refusing to clean it up!
Roof not finished some plywood bowing in and some push up where plywood meets, chimney leaks, missing bracket. The damage to the inside where nails come into house not fixed the way promised. Double charge for insulation and for metal wrap. Did not put adhesive on roof which was reason price raised from origninal contract but did not take that cost off of bill.
The roof was not properly done. I worked on roofing with my father for years, there are nails that are not properly fastened, the shingles were not properly extended, it's just a lot of stuff that's not proper but covered with useless stuff to hide the clear sign of malpratice. I hired this company for 16000 dollars, I want my roof done right.
I was charged $2,000 an hour for labor. I was quoted for a roof tune-up. Had I know in advance that the work would only take a 1/2 hour and that my billing rate was $2,000 or a total of $995. I would not have agreed to the work. Tried to work with the salesmen and home office, but was told that the rate of $2000 an hour was not unusual.

I needed to get a new roof for my garage and the company I hired to put a new roof on my garage also looked at the roof on my house and informed me that the rubber roof on the back of my house was damage. I informed the company that I just had a new roof put on my house in January . I called Able Roof in August and informed them that the rubber roof was damaged. A representative came out on September 10 and gave me an estimate of $3,000 and he informed me that I would be responsible for the amount since the roof was damaged by squirrels. I had to get a tree cut down before Able Roof would even replaced the rubber roof. My house is 1464 square feet and the total to replaced my house roof in 2018 was $9,000. The rubber roof is .060 square feet and the price is $3,000 that is a third of what I pay for the house roof.. I am really shock at the price of the rubber roof that needs replaced. I went into the office of Able Roof on October 26 and put down half of the price and of this date I have not heard anything from them. I call Able Roof on November 12 and asked them how long does it take to get the supplies to replaced the rubber roof. The representative at Able Roof had no clue how long it would take to get the supplies in. It has been almost two weeks already. II am very disappointed with Able Roof.

When I signed the contract to replace the siding in summer of 2022 the salesman told me that I would not have to pay until I was completely satisfied with the job. The job was started at the end of November. On December 8 we did a walk through with the rep and discussed areas that needed to be addressed (one of which was the first level shutters needed to be removed and the soffit redone). After this I was called by financing twice to which I mentioned we were waiting for a few fixes. They said they would confirm with the rest about what needed to be done and when it would be completed. After I reached out a few times, on March 4 I messaged Sales rep that someone came to complete some of the items on our list but that the issue with the shutters on the first floor was not listed on his list and so was not addressed. On March 19 I messaged Sales rep again to ask about where we were with the final adjustments and requested more information since it has been 4 months since the job had been unresolved. I received a call on that day to which he said he would take the issue to the manager to get approval for the final work to be done. On March 22 the sales rep called me to ask me to send an email saying that I would pay for the work when the shutters have been patched up. I clarified that the hole does not need to be patched but the area needs to be redone. To which the sales rep agreed saying, "When it is done you should not be able to see it was ever there." On June 2 the workers came to repair the soffit and were told to patch the hole from the shutter. I explained that the agreement was that they would be redone and they said that the manager told them to patch it up. They told me they would send my request to the manager to see what can be done. The rep called me that night to say that Mr. Roof is saying the job is complete even though the work is not done the way we agreed upon. Thankfully, I have not yet paid for the service per the agreement described.
Hello, I am contacting you in regards to Able Roof and the horrible customer service I've received, not once, but twice
Hello, I am contacting you in regards to Able Roof and the horrible customer service I've received, not once, but twice. They replaced my roof from hail damage a month ago, and my step dad who did residential and commercial roofing came over to look at it and noticed inconsistencies and issues that shouldn't be there. Steve the manager from Able Roof said that everything was up to code and done correctly. The trim on my house was damaged by the first crew and he finally acknowledged it. So he scheduled his "best" crew to come out on July 16th to correct the issues. While my trim is still damaged and I am waiting to hear from "their" siding guy, I noticed the second crew damaged my actual siding. I called Steve to let him know and he defended his crew and said there's no way that they could have done it. I proceeded to tell him that this needs to be fixed along with my trim from the first incident. We then started to get louder with each other and I brought up my step dad and his inspection the first time and he said "I don't give a [censored] about your step dad" So I said ok, I will contact the Complaintsboard.com, *** and ***, he said, go ahead, we're big contributors to ***. So here I am reporting 2 awful experiences with Able Roof. I not only have damaged trim that hasn't been replaced but now I have damaged siding. I'm contacting you in hopes that I can get this resolved and turn 2 negative experiences into a positive one. My phone number is I look forward to speaking with you regarding this issue.

On July 8, we entered into an agreement with Mr. Roof for the replacement of our chimney cap. The installation took place on August 12, and the total cost for the project amounted to $3790.00. Later in November, I sought the services of a professional chimney inspection company to evaluate my chimney and fireplaces in preparation for the installation of two gas inserts. The inspection team provided a report, complete with photographs, which highlighted that the newly installed chimney cap had not been properly cemented by the mason. Additionally, it was noted that a critter guard was absent and some components were merely resting on the roof without proper attachment. In response to these findings, I promptly contacted Mr. Roof and forwarded them the inspection report. Despite sending numerous follow-up emails, the necessary repairs have yet to be addressed. I am seeking assistance to ensure these repairs are carried out.
I have several engineered roofs under contract with Mr. Roof in Nashville TN.. Two of them are having issues and we have repeatedly reached out to Mr. Roof over the past month always with them promising to send a Tech. out to check the roofs which never seems to happen and we never hear anything back from them.. The reason that we have done so many of our new roof installations with Mr. Roof in the past is because of the 10 Year warranty and quality products.. Their warranty covers materials and labor for up to 10 years from the time of installation and both of the properties are still under warranty.. At the moment I'm extremely disappointed in the company and the way they have ignored our requests.. What I would like is for them to uphold their end of the contract...

On February 22 I purchased siding for my residence, financing $9,600.00. The contractors installed the siding a few weeks later. My issues are listed below 1. the contractor cracked a shutter that was to be reinstalled, I purchased new shutters 2. the installers bent my privacy fence hinges, the fence was new and installed last year, the hinges are now repaired at my expense. 3. they left with a dent in the trim and said that was as good as it gets. The manager phoned me and we came to an agreement the board needed to replaced under the trim. They never suggested this at the beginning. 4. they left me with a shutter that was not aligned with the window, when they replaced the board the contractor said he straightened the shutter, however, when I arrived at the house it did not appear to be touched, he said the window was the reason, however, the window was new. I called another company to align the shutter at my expense. 5. the trim still has a wavy appearance and the board did help but it is not resolved. I plan on contacting another company to inspect the trim and have it repaired. 6. when the other company was repairing my shutter and my fence he noticed my gutters were not completely attached. Trying to resolve issues was not an easy task. I was told on several occasions, the window was the problem, heat on the trim is causing the wave and cannot be corrected etc.. I finally said it looks great and phoned another company to inspect the house. I basically caved in and come to the conclusion that I will have to contact another contractor not from Mr. Roof.

Signed contracts for roof and siding 3/30. Roof completed in timely fashion. Told siding would be completed 12-14 weeks. Called end of June for progress. Told delayed. Would be completed by September. Emailed end of August. Emailed back that project was on schedule for September. Called last week in September, told because of covid, there was a two week delay. Also told we might have to substitute siding. Verbally agreed. Told we were one of next jobs and to wait for call. Today is Nov 19. No call from them.
On September 27, I had a quote done to repair or to replace my roof. The sales guy was very nice and took his time to inspect my roof before making a quote. While we waited for the calculations for the repair, he showed me the three replacement packages. The three packages came with different options plus they had a special promo running where you received free upgrades. After reviewing the price for the repair of my roof, I decided that it made more sense to replace. We went over the packages again to see which was right for my situation. I told him that I didn't want to go with the low-end package because the room that I want to replace was a cheap shingle. We then talked about the high-end package, but I told him that I didn't want to spend that much. He then asked if I planned on staying in the house for a long time. My response was that I was looking to move in the next 5 years. So, we both agreed that the best package was the middle of the road option. Which I remember verifying with him 2-3 times to make sure that the ring shank nails and the surenail shingles were included. So, I signed the contract, and they scheduled the install. Before then they dropped off the materials. But before the scheduled day we started to get a heavy rainstorm, so I covered the material with my tarp. About a week later they did the install. After it was all complete, I found out that they took my tarp. I was able to get reimbursed for that. However, I also found out that they damage my facia and gutter. Still waiting for repairs. 12/15-16/21 we had some nasty windstorms which ended up blowing a couple shingles off my roof. This is when I discovered that Mr. Roof installed the low-end shingles on my roof. I contacted Mr. Roof about this issue on 12/16 and the guy was going to forward my info to someone else. Contacted again on 12/17 and they said that I didn't buy the middle end package and would call me back after they looked into it. Still waiting for a response.
We sign our roof replacement on 9/27
We sign our roof replacement on 9/27. He said the able roof will install the roof between 2 weeks to 4 weeks after we sign the contract. On 10/22 we finally received a phone call and told us that they will come and work on the roof on 10/26. People are working very hard to get the work done that day. But they are missing replace much wood on the sunroom that we specifically told them to need to replace. The team supervisor told us they will be back the next day to redo the sunroom area and replace the damaged wood. I contact project managers a few times, he told me they will be here to get the work done. Today is 11/14 still no one show up. I received an invoice from Able on 11/13 for the reminding balance. Otherwise, they will have a 2% charge per month on the unpaid balance. On the invoice, they also state "Failure to pay balance in full will result in a void of warranty." Your company did not complete their project yet. Why they are asking for payment already. First, it took your company 29 days to come and replace the roof. Second, your team left many nails in the driveway and front door. We still keep finding nails. I just replace one of the tire on my van a few days later after they install the roof because the tire replace shop found a nail on my tire. They also left a big mass on our sunroom, too. Third, It has been 19 days since they installed the roof, they still have not come in to fix and complete their roof replacement project. Is it your company that should check your project progress and make sure the work is complete before you send the invoice out for your customer? We will pay the remaining balance after you get your work done.

I met with a sales person from their company who assured me that the issues I was seeing on my bricks would be taken care of by tuck pointing on
I met with a sales person from their company who assured me that the issues I was seeing on my bricks would be taken care of by tuck pointing on the outside of my house. Once the estimate was given, I provided half of the payment for services. Even though I was told I would receive a call to set up a time for service within ten days, it took two months qnd a lot of emails and phone calls to get someone to set up a time for service. Once the contractor came to see the house he reported that work on my front porch could not be done because there was paint on the bricks, which I believe is something the salesperson should have been aware of. The contractor did not perform work on any of the areas on the outside of the house that might address the issues I was seeing inside the house. When I asked questions about this, I was met with resistance and told that the issues I was seeing inside were not notated on the service order. I was told that they dont do the service that would be necessary to resolve the issue I was seeing. Since then, I have complained several times but received no response from the management team, and have been threatened with collections. It is my stance that I was sold a service under false pretenses, and that this company has been dragging its feet to address my claim in the hopes that I will give up and accept that they sold me a service that did not fully address the reason why I putchased the service. They have been non-communicative from the start. I also got new gutters installed by this company, and there were issues surrounding the salesperson's ability to do their job effectively in that instance as well, but the bricks were my main issue when contacting this company for service.

I called Able Roofing in November to address a leak that was coming from the roofline meeting the roof right above my family room
I called Able Roofing in November to address a leak that was coming from the roofline meeting the roof right above my family room. I was clear - from the beginning - I needed to stop the leak from the roof into my family room. I received three competitive bids. It was my understanding, from Able, that the solution they offered would address and stop the leak. In early December, they replaced my roof at a cost of $9422.50. They promised me this would take care of my problem. I paid $4711.25 or half the cost to get the job completed. I would be billed and pay the second half when - as a satisfied customer - the roof was repaired. Every person connected with Able - to that point - made the promise that their work would take care of my problem. On Christmas Day, 12/25, water started pouring in from THE EXACT PLACE where the leak had previously come. I immediately wrote a letter to the President of Able Roofing - a letter he or anyone from the President's office - has ever responded to. In January, they sent out two men to assess the problem. They both acknowledged that there were problems with the leak they had not addressed. Josh, (their stucco guy), said that either $300 to paint the stucco would take care of this or it would cost $7,000 to repair the wall. I told him that he was the first Able Roofing person to tell me this. I also asked why they had replaced my whole roof when I really didn't need that. He told me that the salesmen sell roofs. That's why they know. I said, Able needs to make this right. Able gave me a $300 credit for me to paint my stucco on the wall. There was no offer to do the work or to make it right. I told them that was not enough because they had my money for doing the wrong job on my roof. Today, I was told by Lisa in the Billing Department that everyone including the president has told her she needs to collect my money and they are now done. I need this fixed. They are sending me to a bill collector on 3/2.

When I signed the contract to replace the siding in summer of 2022 the salesman told me that I would not have to pay until I was completely

June 11 I had a 12 shingles on the rear ridge of my roof blow off
June 11 I had a 12 shingles on the rear ridge of my roof blow off. I contacted Mr. Roof to see about getting a temporary tarp put on until my insurance company could access the damage. I met with a salesman (Justin) Friday June 12 and he looked at it and gave me 2 quotes. $500 to tarp it or $950 to fix it. I told him I had my insurance company coming to look at it, but if he thought the ridge was the only thing needed then it would not meet my deductible. $950 for 12 shingles in my opinion was expensive, but he assured me that he would have it fixed or get a tarp put on it prior to the next rain. I signed the contract and paid half up front. He told me as he was leaving he would email me the receipt and contract. He only emailed me receipt. I was willing to pay a little extra because I needed it done quick. The insurance guy came by afterward and agreed that I only needed the 12 shingles replaced. He said his system said it would not be that expensive but most roofers would probably charge a $500 minimum. So Mr. Roof was charging almost double, but I didn't want the hassle of shopping around and I didn't want it to rain while I was shopping. After a week of no tarp and no fix it rained heavily twice. I called Justin the following week (June 22) and he thought my roof was fixed. I told him that he failed to do what was agreed upon and the damage was done. The whole reason I was willing to pay a premium was because I didn't want rain getting in which it did. I told him that now that it had rained he could do it for $600 or refund me the $475 I had paid. He said he needed to talk to his manager to get it approved. After 3 more days and another storm he said he could not do it for any cheaper. I told him to give me a refund. My attic is wet, insulation is damp, he missed his chance. Another month later and several calls and online chats the office manager said she had issued a refund but it would take a couple days. That was on July 6. As of July 27, still no refund. I have called and left messages but don't get a call back. I am tired of the run around and I need my money back. I am trying to be patient and nice but I am starting to lose patience. I tried to contact the person on the Complaintsboard.com prior to making this complaint to work it out, but that person no longer works there and the person that answered sent to to a number to leave another voicemail. This is beyond frustrating for 12 shingles. I wish I would have just found a guy on craigslist to put the shingles that blew off back on for a couple hundred bucks. I went with what I thought was reputation and guarantee. Big mistake.

Able Roofing contracted with us to remove an old roof and install a new one
Able Roofing contracted with us to remove an old roof and install a new one. The salesman Scott H told us over 90% of Able Roofing projects take one day to complete, but some take two days. Our project started on 11/23. It was clear it wouldn't be finished the first day. The workers left and returned the next day without anyone contacting us to let us know what was going on. After they left on the 24th and the work still wasn't finished and no one contacted us, I called Robert - the individual I was told was our project manager on 11/25. I first texted him because he was supposed to be available to us for immediate contact during our project. When he didn't answer after several hours, I then called. When I still received no call by 11/27, I called again. Finally later that morning another individual called me and said Robert wasn't even our project manager and said he was. He told me someone had been out to finish the roof on 11/27. I told him that was impossible as I and my husband were both home the entire day and no one arrived. He then realized he didn't even know my address and was thinking about another project. I told him part of our roof still wasn't finished and we couldn't figure out what was going on. I also told him part of the roof appeared to be finished incorrectly as shingles were popping up and not laying flat. Without even looking at the roof or ever seeing my home, he told me those shingles were fine and probably just popping up due to weather. On 12/5 I woke up to a ladder being placed against my roof and 3 men were suddenly outside my bedroom window. I literally had to crawl on the floor to escape my bedroom without them seeing me indecent. I put the clues together and realized it was Able out to finish the job, but no one had called me or my husband to let us know they'd be back that day. 12/9 Still receiving absolutely zero communication from Able, a bill showed up threatening to void our warranty if we didn't pay in full within ten days, so I called the office again and left a message with someone who promised to contact our real project manager and his supervisor. 12/14 Still with no return call from Able someone (maybe our project manager - who knows?) randomly showed up at the house and confirmed our roof didn't look right and needed to be fixed. When I arrived home from work my husband relayed this visit to me and I called the Able office yet again to ask what was going on. I was then assured we didn't have to pay the invoice and that. The woman I spoke with, Kiersten, told me we didn't have to pay until the issue was resolved and that she would make sure our project manager contacted us. 12/21 We still haven't heard anything from anyone at Able, part of our roof is messed up, this issue has been going on for nearly a month when it was supposed to take 2 days at most, and everyone at Able appears to be ignoring us while also expecting us to give them another $4,500

My Husband and I hired Mr Roof in Jan 2020 to install a new roof because there was interior leaking in a few areas
My Husband and I hired Mr Roof in Jan 2020 to install a new roof because there was interior leaking in a few areas. The sales representative told us not only did we need a new roof but all new decking as well. We opted to go with the top of the line roof offered in hope this would dissolve all issues moving forward. We didnt haggle on any of the options provided and truly wanted to do what was best for our new (to us) home. Mr Roof guaranteed 1 day instillation which was one of the main reasons we chose to go with them as it was winter. This was not the case. The crew showed up at our house and asked us what they were supposed to be doing, we had to get our sales rep on the phone to explain the job to the crew, their "ultra light weight trucks" tore up our yard, and to our surprise the instillation was not completed in the one day as promised. We hadn't planned to take both days off of work so when we arrived back home after day 2 of Mr Roof being on our property we had noticed all of our gutters were gone. The crews had disposed of them while on site. Then around 6 months after instillation in the spring of 2020 our roof started leaking again. Mr Roof sent an inspector out that was down right disrespectful and nit picked our home that we have worked so hard for and told me that it is a waste of his time to come out because clearly our siding and windows were the cause of the house leaking. Taking his feedback to heart we have now had all 30 windows replaced and our very large house resided. To our surprise yesterday morning i woke up to yet again our roof leaking in the same places that we had issues with prior to getting a new roof in the first place. I called Mr Roof 4 times before getting a response and someone coming out to my home. The same roof inspector from the spring showed up and informed my husband and i that the leaking we were experiencing (next to electrical panel in my kitchen) was not a roof leak and in fact from ice buildup, "NOT MR ROOF'S PROBLEM AND NOT COVERED BY THEM". Shortly after he left i heard some dripping and walked up to our second story to find our ceiling caved in and water flowing all over the floors (around a 2ft by 3ft section). I called the inspector back and he again told us our roof was in perfect condition and this was not a roof leak but ice that was backing up under the shingles and coming in. He claims we need heat tape on the roof which we had prior to the roof replacement and Mr Roof told us at the time of contract signing we would NO LONGER require the heat tape because we would have proper ventilation and a "Leakproof membrane on the entire surface of the roof prior to shingles going down" Clearly this is not the case. Mr Roof is taking ZERO accountability and we are left with a 1 year old roof that pours water in our home every time it rains and snows. Mr Roof not only doesn't stand behind their product, the inspector is rude (even raising his voice and yelling at my husband and telling us he would have "up-selled the *** out of us" because we tried to just take the advice we were given and do the right thing), and they dont take any accountability for the incorrect information that you may get from your sales rep or when things go astray. Be warned this experience has been an absolute nightmare.

Mr. of alpine in the roofing company deceived me and misappropriated roofing materials I had paid for. They overestimated the amount of roofing material required for the job. They used a certain quantity for my roof but charged me for more than was necessary. The project manager loaded excess shingles and other materials into the company truck. When I inquired about receiving a credit for the excess, he dismissed it as waste. Consequently, I am financing building materials that are being used on another person's property. Other customers are inadvertently purchasing materials that came out of my pocket. I was misled about the number of shingle layers by the sales representative and ended up paying significantly more for the job. I was charged extra for a repair, the cost of which was unclear, as I was told it would simply be added to my loan without worry. The company also damaged my gutters and siding. When I reported the damage, the response was indifferent. The project manager rarely visited the site and spent little time overseeing the work, claiming to be managing multiple projects simultaneously. The number of laborers was inconsistent, with the crew leader often taking some workers away for hours before returning. The workers were pushed to work for 12 hours straight with only a lunch break. After lodging a complaint with the office, I was promised a follow-up that never came. My attempts to reach out further were thwarted by the company blocking my phone number. When I pointed out that the decking was not installed correctly, I was met with a nonchalant shrug. I never received a list of materials used on my job. I would advise against doing business with this company, as they have shown a lack of concern for customer service. Additionally, it appeared that most of the workers, except for the crew leader who spoke English, might have been undocumented.
Mr. Roof did a wonderful job. The salesman was friendly and straightforward. The roofing crew were very nice and polite. They did a great job and the roof looks fantastic. I love the color of the shingles. I'm so glad I called Mr. Roof
Great customer service. Respectful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Provided estimate and explained repair process. Respected my property taking care of my roof repairs. Mr. responded within 2 hours and quickly assessed cause of the water leak. The technician, *** is well trained to properly repair my roof leak. I highly recommend Mr.
