MyLife MyLife.com

MyLife.com has charged my credit card $155.40 for a service I NEVER subscribed to. I had only asked for ONE search for a lost cousin, at the listed price of $4.98. And instead of giving me contact data about my lost cousin, it gave me contact data for myself. I have initiated a dispute of the unauthorized charge, of $155.40 with the assistance of my credit card's billing department.

Telephoning MyLife.com results in a recorded voice asking the caller to Email But Emailing MyLife has proven to be useless.

MyLife Background search service

I’ve had a subscription with them in the past when I had to do background searches on myself, as well as, my husband. I kept their services for a year. They even helped me to locate my husband’s long lost son. Now the site is not available and if you call the voicemail is robotic and it tells you to go to the site. You can’t get help anywhere, nor can you use the service.

Desired outcome: There’s something not right. I want my money back. They’re using logos on their sites showing that they’re safe, Norton & McAfee & need to know their good names are being used on a site that doesn’t allow their customers access.

MyLife Cancel this app: MyLife.com

My bank is questioning the charge and has canceled my acct temporarily expecting fraud. Do not charge my acct again. I am not satisfied with the acct. your company has associated many individuals that are not related to me. It is not complete. I wish to talk to an associate if possible. Thank you

Your online assistance said my request for resolution will not attract attention from a customer representative of this company. Why?

Desired outcome: Cancel any further charges. It is my request and my right to cancel this app.

MyLife Personal background check

Clicked to do the 29.85 for 3 months and was charged for that and 155. Emailed them because you cannot get a person on any phone number you can find. They told me I had used it and I said to look up one person which gave me no more info then I can find for free. Now I see it is set to take another 155 on April 23rd and emailed 6 days ago that again I wanted to cancel which they told me it was last time and have not heard from them

Desired outcome: Would like a refund of the first 155 and definitely do not want any future charges to come out

MyLife Unauthorized charge made to my debit card

My bank sent me a text message saying they suspected fraudulent activity from my debit card and asked if I had made a $41.85 purchase from MYLIFE VI PPL on March 15th around 5:30 pm (I wasn't even on the internet at this time). I did not make this purchase and I just want to know exactly where it came from. I now have to get a new debit card, which means I can't make any purchases for 5-7 days until I get my new card in the mail. I wanted to know if MYLIFE VI PPL (that's how it appeared on my statement) is related to mylife.com, a site I never go to, and I wanted to know if they are hacking random people online.

Desired outcome: I would just like to know who in the heck MYLIFE VI PPL actually are so that I can have some piece of mind.

MyLife Subscription

I never wanted to have this and been changed twiced 83.40 and 155.50 total 238.80 I need my money badly can't ever get someone on the phone at all please please help me my life 55 # [protected] and [protected] are money numbers and the date was 02/22/2023 they took both the same day. It has a number [protected] and all it does is tell you to email them and love done that so many times with absolutely no results

MyLife I am sick of my life .Com

Ypou do not have any right in posting our personal info and that of our families...You have profiles of dead people and false information on my profile ...I have asked them to delte my profile and they said they did but they did not ./.I jhate my life .Com ...You cannot even get through to a person, and their damn robots are so rude when you do call in ,.,,,they just tell us to email them and i have with no resolution...Shame on my life.Com ...They are a bunch of lazy crooks liars and scammers

MyLife People search of public records. Mylife.com

I paid id for a "one-time" check on a debtor but when checking my card, I found that MyLife had also charged me another $155.40 for an annual ($12.95x12 months) subscription which I DID NOT request! I am trying to get a refund as I did not agree to this charge and do not need this service.

When I called the toll-free number, it simply referred me to email "customer service". I have emailed MyLife, and they have not responded. Please I am asking for a full refund of $155.40 back to my card and cancellation of this service/ membership.

MyLife My life refund

It's been 6 days now that I opt out and asked for a refund my money was taken off my card over 200$ I'm a single grandma with custody of my grands woo needs this money why would anyone pay that much money l just needed it refunded you can't talk to a human no phone listed the email says they will get with you in 24 to 48 hours yeah right they haven't

Received a email saying that info on myself and to verify my email l did verify and then my notifications from my debit card started beeps so l click over 2 charges mylife. 55.[protected] on 02/22)23 $155.40 #2 was 02/22/23 $83.40 Tryed calling only to get to email customer service did it so many times. Finally after days they replied they found the account give 24)48 that also didn't happen said the subscription was not paid if I could send verification that it came off my card and I did that also and haven't heard a word

MyLife Unauthorized charges

I requested a one time search for 9.95. (No subscription) And the search came up nothing, However when I checked my bank account a few days later they charged me 9.95. Which I agreed upon then 2 more charges that I did not agree upon. One for 179.40 and another 155.40. all 3 charges were on the same day! I have been emailing the customer support every day with no response

MyLife Unauthorized debit card charge on feb 17th, 2023

Paid for a "one-time" check on a debtor but when checking my bank records found that MyLife had also charged me another $155.40 for an annual($12.95x12 months) subscription which I DID NOT request! Still trying to get a refund.

MyLife Subscription charged that was not selected

I, Thomas P. Hobart, purchased an initial report request for myself from My Life for a charge of $9.95. At no time did I select a full year membership. I recently received a notification from my financial institution of a possible unauthorized charge of $84.00. When I inquired with my institution, they advised me that it was My Life. Repeated e mails to My Life to address this issue have gone unanswered.

MyLife Membership I did not authorize

I was charged $155.40 while trying to delete my profile account with MyLife. The site said “click here” and the next thing I knew, I was charged money. Then, I tried to call the number they provided to contact them and got a voicemail message stating I need to email the company. I emailed them over two weeks ago demanding a credit back on my credit card and have heard NOTHING! I want my $155.40 back!

MyLife Annual membership I never agreed to purchase

On 01/16/2023 I saw an email in my inbox regarding new critical information on mylife.com profile. Seeing that I panic and login. Of course I can't see anything without payment which is just not ethical in my opinion. I think if you have personal info on your site that is incorrect I need to have it removed otherwise it's slander. But I mistakenly decided to pay the one time charge of $9.95 to access my report. Paid that then immediately was also charged $155.40 which I did not ever authorize. I never clicked on anything approving another charge. I have emailed this company at the email address they posted to contact with issues. I have emailed 4 times now and have not heard anything back.

I am livid to say the least. As a single mother of 2 I can't afford $155.40 charge especially for something I never approved nor initiated. I have begged for assistance with no response.

To other mylife users, do not give them your card number. This has been a nightmare and is just taking time from my family and job chasing my money that was stolen from me. Please help me.

MyLife Unauthorized credit card charges

I placed a one-time charged on mylife and got charged 3 times for 2 annual fees which I not authorize. They do not answer their phone number so I have to resort to email and cancel my credit card in the meantime! Also for that one time fee I did one search and probably got incorrect info on top of that! When I tried to do a second search, they wanted more money, even though my fee was for one month's services! Who are these people? I did all of this today - 01.12/2023. at 09/12 am.

Desired outcome: First I'd like my money back. Second I'd like a better search results. Third, I would like a full month of search.

MyLife Annual membership subscription and no customer service response

I conducted what I thought was a "free" online background search on www.mylife.com. After I conducted my search and logged off. I received an email identifying that my debit card was charged $155.40 ($12.95 x 12) for an annual membership subscription. After reading the email I attempted to contact the phone number provided [protected]) and an automated message directed me to respond by email to [protected]@www.mylife.com. I did not authorize this charge and no one has attempted to contact me regarding this issue. I could see charging a minimal fee for a background search although no one that I am aware of would want an annual subscription unless they were a business or related to law enforcement.

Desired outcome: Subscription fee refunded.

MyLife Scam

I purchased one background check for $9, and I got charged $44 then $59. I didn't get the research I wanted, instead I got my own information. I can't get a refund! This is crazy, this company is wrong.

The information about myself was wrong too. The background check is not comprehensive, there are only addresses and phone numbers in there.

Stay away, they are scammers

MyLife Unauthorized credit card charge

I am a researcher and signed up for the $1.99 service of looking at my own record. They immediately added a second charge, which I didn't authorize, of $44.85 for a subscription. I called within minutes of seeing the charge was told the subscription was cancelled. Seven days letter, I stll haven't received a refund. When I call back, after much back-and-forth, that they can only refund me $34.90 since I had used the site. Yes, I used the site to get the phone number to call to cancel and to follow up. The representative said that they cancelled the account which meant I wouldn't be charged an additional $44.85 in 3 months when the next payment was due.

MyLife Refusal to close my acount

I have requested my account to be closed many times over the last year. also requested them to stop sending me e-mails warning of negative or criminal activities in reference to my name. Their tactics are bordering illegal in that they make false statements to entice me to spend money with them

Most frustrating is their refusal to remove my name from their system and close my account. If they warn me that my so called profile is negative, then what assurance is there that they are not falsely informing others?

MyLife incorrect address cities for Mary R Moseley Jacksonville FL

Report states about cities where I have lived, it lists Brooklyn, NY. I have never lived in Brooklyn, NY and lists Mary Moseley has having lived there and also with fines. Again, I, Mary Rickman Moseley, have never lived in Brooklyn, NY.

Desired outcome: Correct the the information. Remove Brooklyn, NY from my record.
