credit card fraud
You know who you are. Now I do too.
Total click-bait scam. While trying to correct the false information listed by "mylife", as it is listed on this scam site, my credit card was charged a fee to which I did not agree. For all the false information listed they had no problem getting my credit card information correct, without my knowledge or consent.
Everyone I know will know about "mylife" including the Attorney General and various federal law enforcement people I know. I have just two words for you, and they aren't Merry Christmas. Watch me flame...
a stupid unnecessary comment made by an anonymous person plus wrong info
There was an anonymous comment written they wouldn't be friends with me as if that is a mark on me rather than someone's opinion. I probably wouldn't be friends with them either and I am not responsible for anyone's bias who wasted their time to write such nonsense. This company shouldn't even print such stuff. Also I am affiliated with two people who I never knew who appeared to be past neighbors.
You used to be able to post an anonymous review of someone right there on their page. It looks like they stopped letting users post reviews of someone. All they let you do is say whether or not you would be friends with them or not. Why did they stop letting someone write a review on people.?
fraudulent information about me
I happened to find this site accidentally. I didn't even know this piece of garbage site existed. Much of what they note about me is fraudulent. Without purchasing an account to clean up their shoddy research and fraudulent reporting, they are leaving much disinformation about me on their horrible site. I have filed a complaint to the BBB and will take all means necessary to get them to remove my profile--WITHOUT paying them a RED CENT.
reputation clean up
So Jeffrey Tinsley, whose name you won't find on his own site, created a site to scare people into purchasing a service to clean up their reputation. The site sweeps public records to look for something as simple as a speeding ticket and gives you a glaring RED mark stating you have a criminal history. Ridiculous. If you call customer service you talk to...

I found a disturbing amount of information about myself on this site. After I searched on how to resolve it. I tried to email them to opt out and remove my information. They refuse to remove it unless I pay money to create an account with them! Everyone needs to file better business bureau complaints against them. No one should have to go through this.
ineffective or no report
I signed up for your service and it's ineffective. First off, my name is Lloyd M. Brock, not Angela. The people I wanted to check on were not the ones I wanted to know about. Two of them you had no infromation on at all, so your service is of no value to me. The people I wanted information on were possibly trying to scam me for money. I filed a report with the FBI and ICE and haven't received any ainformation thus far. Please cancel my subscription.
Thank you,
Lloyd M. Brock

membership/ information
I searched myself and the system kept telling me my name is LaTonya Wright, however, my name is Tonya White Williams. The system would not allow me any full background checks even be n myself although I was led to believe I had a premium subscription trial for 1 week. I am unable to view any of the premium searches under the one week trial and had to order another one which also requested money after each search but never received the trial or premium searches I was led to believe I would receive on purchase. I am requesting a refund of all transactions because I don't feel your site honored any of what I was told I purchased and the free information I did receive of myself was not accurate therefore I don't feel any of the other information I received free to be true either
mylife service and request that I pay to make me look better
I did a Google search for my own name a few days ago and it produced a MyLife Web site report on me, stating in bold red letters that I have a criminal record. And when I announced that I am the person described and that I would like to see more detail on that statement, I was invited to pay MyLife money to improve my "score" - which would apparently include removing this falsity. I am not aware of having any criminal record (and I would consider myself a fairly reliable source on that). And, I will not permit my name to be smeared in connection with an old fashion extortion scheme in modern dress. I am also contacting MyLife directly to recommend they respond to this charge by identifying its evidence and source of this "criminal record" as being the only way MyLife is going to potentially avoid a suit for defamation.

false reporting and or innuendo
The MyLife site reports enough correct information to make it appear to be legit however it reports straight up false or misleading information. I followed the trail to have it corrected and they want me to pay to "view the report" to correct the information. Not sure to call this slander, blackmail on a falsehood or what but it's wrong. I have spent a lifetime to build a good reputation and this site should not be allowed to potentially destroy reputations, lives and careers.
website that reports personal information that is incorrect or malicious to the public
My life was asked to remove my personal information in a very respectful way, the agreed to do so and when I went back to check, they added untruths, and changed my "good" reputation to "poor"; the reason that ai had requested to "opt out" is due to a stalking situation which My Life has made even worse! Shame on you, My Life, you deserve to be sued in court!
inaccurate information, cannot update, difficulty cancelling free account
Signed up for 7 day free account. Found much of the information inaccurate and outdated. Could not find out who was checking/investigating me, always listed as
"anonymous". What good is a company like this when much of the info is wrong, or
outdated. The sad thing is that people who check with such a website, believes the erroneous information! I called after one day to cancel my account, and then got an "automatic renewal" notice in my email. Called today, and found out that the account had NOT been cancelled. I threatened to call my credit card company to dispute any and all renewal charges, and then to call the California State Attorney Generals office, and file a fraud complaint with them. The customer service rep assured me that they would cancel the account. Stay away from this scam company. They are not reliable source for accurate information on you. Also, just FYI. Go to Wal-Mart store and get a "money card". Put $50 or so on the card. Use it
for these types of accounts. Then if they refuse to quit renewing the account, do not
put anymore money on the card. Call WalMart and have them send you another card, or let the card run out of money. Get a different money card. Just FYI
reputation score
What the heck kind of company is this...I run two real estate business and got a
.67 rating which is not true and could ruin my business! I want it removed immediately! And I want to unsubscribe from this illegal site immediately...
Or you will be hearing from my lawyer for defamation of character...good buy...
Arla Bretzing
This is a terrible service where someone can jusy get on here and say what they want even if it's not true or mistaken identity...
not happy at all and I want it fixed immediately! Crappy website
information revealed
They are lieing and ruining what I have left of an I theft name that was stolen years ago without producing facts about anything! Now I value my privacy and want this took out offline from MyLife as they are not telling all that's involved here and they need nto be sued over this and I am going to check with an attorney about doing so and let their reputation get stained and ruined both for ruining mine!
false, fraudulent information... affecting reputation, lowered credit & great damage.
None of this site's Internet posted information - `family' and `associates' (they of bad reputation) named are any relationship to me. By associated such to me, I am "guilty by association". But there is none, no relationship at all.
Such, one in particular who had gone to prison, living on same street being associated with me. Their bad history becoming mine. I have no relationship to such and don't even recognize names listed.
This site has chosen to link me to to them... giving alerts & warnings, adversely affecting my reputation, credit and life. OUTRAGEOUS!
Unwanted, constant phone calls now - I have had to put phone on silent, non-ring mode to get relief.
Credit affected adversely. Bank of America closed my account... THIS after 36 years, the account opened in 1983 and with no missed payments and virtually perfect credit BEFORE and historically. False information posted...
AND... RED ALERT posted in header for relationships, people I don't even know; don't even know who such persons are. There also someone with legal problems, they jailed, convicted that went to prison LINKED TO ME! HOW?! WHY?
This is OUTRAGEOUS! Formerly sued under their previous name, Classmates.com, they do this after they settled a $9 million dollar class action law suit. Then they turn around, of new name and DO WORSE.
I have never seen or experienced anything like this... with heretofore PERFECT credit and now great hurt and abuse. THIS MUST BE STOPPED! This is WICKED. It is nothing less than EVIL!
internet personal data
Do not sign up for this service unless you want to be overcharged, and put off if you want to get things fixed. You actually get nothing in what they say they will provide and they say it is 100% satisfaction guaranteed but gettin service is virtually impossible. I was on hold and stuck in there to finally get answered after an hour. I requested and immediate cancellation after about an hour of service. Not only do you get charged once for service, there is an additional charge that led to a total of $250.80 in one day. Those two charges were supposed to be refunded and I actually have a refund confirm number. I was not refunded but charged twice again! I am in to them for over $500. My only guarantee is that the card will negate the charges. Never pay for anything with other than a credit card.
Mylife subscription
My complaint is simple: I enrolled for a free trial on Mylife.com just to check the details on the information I could see on me went I visited the site. I thought that the few things I could see on my info without being subscribed were not updated/accurate. So I subscribed, and asked for my picture to be removed and my information revised. When I looked up again, being already a member, I could not access any of my background reports. I noticed that my reputation had changed from fair to good but I didn't find the details on the inaccuracies, or how they were revised. I started to suspect that my reputation improved just because I became a member, not because they looked into my real info.
I wanted to deactivate my account online, the same way I enrolled, but it couldn't be done. Actually, you have to call them. I thought they would send me a reminder before the trial expired, but they didn't. Instead, when the seven day trial membership expired, they just charged my credit card automatically. They just emailed me when the charge was made to my credit card. I don't think this procedure is honest, nor the service offered very efficient, and let me tell you, it's pricey. I am also greatly concerned about how these people handle records and mix up identities. A site like this shouldn't be alowed to mishandle people's personal information.
For anyone that is having difficulty with this company, please file a consumer complaint with the California Attorney General's office. Even if you are not a resident of California you can file your complaint online. File at the noted address and enter MyLife.com address and enter Jeffrey Tindley as CEO of MyLife.com at 1100 Glendon Ave #1800 Los Angeles, CA United States - [protected]+[protected] go online to the Califonia Attorney General's office and file the complaint online at web address is https://oag.ca.gov/contact click consumer complaint and file your complaint. Jeffrey Tinsley has been successfully sued before and he can be sued again. Other companies that are like myLife will remove your information if you ask but Jeffrey Tinsleys CEO for myLife does not comply as easy. Call email over and over until you get results. Be relentless about it and don't give up. Also, want to let everyone know my MyLife.com customer service is located in Manila Philliphines but CEO Jeffrey Tinsley lives in California. Do not be afraid to file your complaint the more complaints file the more power we will have for a class action lawsuit and to shut this company down. Also, try contacting major news stations tell your story ABC, NBC, call or email any and all news sources until you get results do not give up
poor customer service & impossible to contact!
After being on hold for a half hour I was disconnected. To say that I am furious would be an understatement. I had problems setting up my password on their site. - I want to cancel this account and stop any future payments.. I started out as caller 20 only to be disconnected and when I redialed I became caller 23. Trying again, already on hold for 24 minutes.(Disconnected again at 30 minutes) No email contact address available!
Sincerely,
Kevin Maloney

Mylife.com is a data aggregation site that collects data about you from anywhere you've posted information about yourself, by using a web crawler /scrape /bot. The information is shows you about yourself is not coming from them, but sites you've voluntarily participated in as well and other federally available public records that contain info on your life.
The problem here is how this free and readily available information is presented to the you to get you to sign up for their services, which consist of using deceptive thumbnails in the free search results to present the impression of something being wrong with your information as to being the reason why you need their services. Additionally you are shown a initial low social credit score as another means of making you feel you need their services to correct it. None of which is true and none of which you need from them.
The ability to control your public info on their site is so not needed as the information they find is from sites you've made your info public and that is public in nature.
What Mylife does is pull FREE aggregated data on you and place it behind a PAYWALL to give you a false impression of control. Data on you can be obtained and controlled by you for free using other widely available means.
Mylife also collects data on you during sign up and turns around and sells it even it you don't sign up.
How do you get off the site?
www.mylife.com
First they do not have my information correct or even close and yet they DO say that I have a criminal background because I have had one single minor traffic speeding ticket in my 59 years. I had paid $25 to update my information, not only was I charged this amount, but it was not changed and now they want to charge me again to see the information again. Now I have been on hold for over 30 minutes and still waiting to speak to a representative. THIS IS A CRIME that they can steal your money for nothing and then try extort more money in an attempt to correct information that they seem to purposely inaccurately publically post to the internest to knowing tarnish your reputation.
reputation profile
I've been applying for jobs and have not been having much luck, which is unusual. A family member suggested I look online to see if my name comes up on searches. I found myself on Mylife. How dare Mylife drag my name through the mud. I can't believe companies like this are legal. I make every effort to be a good, hardworking, ethical person. One look at the Mylife website and I become a deviant not worthy to be trusted to hire or even know. No wonder I'm not getting any call backs. Mylife seems to use blackmail, fabrications and subjective opinion to coerce people to use their services. How do they legally get away with that? I try so hard to be an upright citizen.
It is so dishearting to see my name (me) slandered this way.
This is happening to me too. The information is false. How is this fixed?
