I was completely unaware of this site until a family member told me that all my information was publicly displayed. Everyone could find my phone number, addresses, even a violation from years ago that is not public record. This puts me and my family's safety in jeopardy. I called them repeatedly and waited for 30 minutes or more and they just hang up. I signed up for their trial program and they agreed to take down my public profile. This is blackmailing at it's finest

Hello I have been trying to cancel my account for 5 days now. I get put on hold then I get disconnected after waiting on hold for half an hour or longer. I want to cancel this and I need help doing so please contact me as soon as possible I am going to contact my credit card company and not allow you to bill me again since I am having such a terrible time canceling. I think this is very poor and I will not recommend your sight to anyone

I recently followed the opt out guidelines provided on the home page of mylife.com. I received an e-mail from "Lawrence" (an employee) stating that they will not remove my information as I requested because said info can be found by a "simple google search". Not true! When I google myself, I have hundreds of hits for others with the same name, but none about me. They have posted my date of birth, which I fear could lead to identity theft. They have also posted my political party affiliation, which I do not want everybody to know. Other info that they are trying to gather, such as my phone number (unlisted), my annual income (only between me and IRS!), and my net worth (nobody's damned business) are things I would never give out to total strangers, which those who own/operate this site are to me. I find this company very intrusive. They will not even let the dead rest in peace. They tell me I can pay to "manage my privacy". I consider that extortion. I will not pay them one brown cent! I believe that any so-called "information brokerage" should allow people to opt out with no arguments or questions asked. I know this company has a very bad reputation. I don't like a single thing about it. I have contacted BBB and FTC with my complaint. They must remove my profile. I won't take no for an answer!

January 28, 2019- this company lures you in with questionable and false background information that you have to pay to access... Of course anyone would be upset to see what has the illusion of detrimental branding... Once you obligate a payment source you can look at your info and make corrections... The info is distorted to make it appear detrimental: eg, I had a traffic ticket years ago that was presented as if I had a criminal background... I had paid the ticket at the time it was due and no problems... They present it as a criminal event... Than once you think it's straightened out and opt to cancel the ‘subscription', you're given more lies... On jan 5th at 1147am, I was told it's cancelled, no more charges to my account... Not that easy... I was billed on my credit card anyway for the january amount of $19.95... Didn't know until the credit card statement came... Shortly after, received an email that mylife.com would renew again on feb 5th... I called them at their 888-704-1900 number and got a line of bull again how because it was already the 5th of january 2019 when I called to cancel, it was too late and already cycled, but february's cycle will not.."so feel free to use the site up until than" we'll certainly they want me to access the site so they can justify their charges... I told them on the phone i'm not falling for their scam, this is a big con that they're trying to pull and I will be notifying every consumer agency that is available as well as my credit card company...

I am appalled that people are listed on this website with personal information that is really no one else's business. Birth dates? Car driven? Supposed family and friends? This is all data that could be used by a stalker or someone with less than honorable purposes. I never signed up for this "service". I want my names and all information removed immediately. Are you ready to deal with a class action suit?

This is completely and unequivocally untrue. This is slander. I want to file a complaint and start a lawsuit against this company.

Is there a class action lawsuit pending?

This company provides false information online for anyone to see and be influenced by their slanderous activity.

We have run a business for 19 yr now. The info on Mylife is false. It also hurts our business to make mylife a few bucks. I am ready to join a class action against this company. I have the money and time and I may just sue them myself. This company should have been taken down a long time ago and the owners incarcerated. I plan to go see a lawyer today and see what my options are. I had them take the site down months ago and threatend to sue. Now it is right back up ruining our business and reputation. Threatening to sue doesn't work. So now I am actually going to do it!

These people will go to great lengths for your money to add false information about people. I looked up my profile and they have me as 100% being evicted from my home. That is not true and a false aqusation ! There are other remarks that are false stating Im related to ppl I don't know.
Im wondering if a person can go after these idiots for false accutions. Im going to find out. They need SHUT DOWN!

Every time I call I am like the 20th or 21st person in line. I get all the way down to be the next call to be answered and I always get disconnected. Total scam outfit.

Everytime I try to sign up for their service I am linked to the wrong person. They seem to find it impossible to link me to my profile. Something isn't right about this company.

They post my reputation score without my approval, verification, and no opportunity ti challenge their information on which they base their scores.

I tried to look up 3 people their spelling is bad, info, incorrect on me. I gave them my debit number experation and number on back as they asked. I want to cancel and when I looked up mylife I read it is a scam. I am afrraid they will use my card. How can I resolve this matter and be sure my card is not used and is deleted by this fake company my life.

I have a clean background. Never've been arrested for anything in my entire life! I am an elementary school teacher! Mylife.com will publicly rate anyone under "5" just to catch attention in order to profit from anyone who continues to their website. Please be careful. Their information is absolutely incorrect from the moment you type in anyone's name. They will always make sure to put "negative content found on so and so" because that's the hook they use to scam you out of your money. Once they have your interest, you will feel obligated to pay. In the end, once you purchase a report on someone, it will most likely be clear, and you will still lose money. Use other trusted companies. This one must be prosecuted for damaging reputations. We are starting a petition today.

If I can subscribe online, it should be just as easy for me to unsubscribe online.

Further my subscription renewal occurred on a holiday there was no accommodation, the account was simply renewed.

I want my account canceled immediately, I want all but my original fee returned, I want no further charges on my charge card.

I looked up my name online and found myself on their Mylife's site. They have erroneous information about me and the make my reputation look horrible. This should be illegal and something should be down about it. I wonder is there any way to sue them. They have people listed that I am not related to and I have never done any time for any type of crime.

Any company who behaves in this way should be looked at for every state's Attorney General's office.

Mylife.com uses fear to force people to 'pay' to increase their reputation points or hide 'lock' their account. In any other form, this would be called extortion. Regardless of whether the information is correct, approved for publication by the individual, or considered legal. They have been prosecuted by the Los Angeles DA, to date.
In my case, they listed a family court custody hearing as a Criminal Offense and had multiple 'family' members listed that are of no relation. They must delete your account upon request. There are laws being broken here, and this is a Grade A extortion scam.

I went to search myself on MyLife.com It has wrong info on the limited report I can see. It has relatives listed I've never heard of. And the phone number shows an area code to which I have zero affiliation. And in red it states criminal activity to which is very disturbing. Yet I am supposed to pay to have it corrected or made private? Isn't this a violation of the Fourth Amendment?

I try to access the free My Life report and I keep getting one on a Karen Kasper. I have called the company on this twice and it still comes up. I explained to them it is not fair to me or to this person to show information that I did not request. I am sure this other person does not want their info showing up to every Karen that accesses their site.

I would like to see the info they have on me not this person. So far I have had no resolution to this.

I don't have any recall of subscribing to this MYLIFE.COM and have been charged sparacticly which is suspicious in it on right every 2 or 3 months I already use Been Verified for any back Ground information I need research Please discontinue this deduction from my bank account in which I don't know how you got my information and would like some verification as to me signing up for this and why I'm charged every 2//3 months
