football games with bended knees
take your league and shove it where the sun doesn't shine. may you be cursed with disease any financial loss until you apologize to america for your tolerance of players defaming the national anthem. fire the [censored].
Desired outcome: fire the [censored] players
American people division
When you provide a Superbowl 2022 Pepsi half time show only representing one culture and one race you encourage division among Americans. You claim diversity and inclusivity but your Superbowl half time show falls way short of the mark. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
You need to change your ways ought you will lose more followers like myself
Desired outcome: Unite ALL Americans together
I agree 100%. I don't watch football for politics. Now because the NFL has inserted itself into politics I don't watch the NFL period !
2022 Super Bowl , Feb. 13, 2022
I was shameful that the NFL allowed Eminem to ‘take a knee’ during our National Anthem at the 2022 Super Bowl , Feb. 13, 2022. Eminem’s performance pay should be penalized/reduced.
Desired outcome: I would like a response: Sheldon L. [protected]@freilich.com
NFL Choices and Commissioner
This message is for the commissioner and his advisory staff.
I’ve always loved football, but I hate the way you cater to these police hating celebrities and organizations!
The choices you’ve made and the side you’ve chosen to stand with makes me a retired NYC Police Detective sick to my stomach to say the least.
If there was an impeachment process for the NFL commissioner I’d vote to get you thrown out in a heartbeat, you’re a disgrace to the United States of America and by far the worst commission the NFL has ever had! You’ve alienated so many loyal NFL fans like me with your coddling and pandering to these organizations and celebrities.
Stop fueling the fire and try to calm it, stop with the racism captions all over the fields and uniforms of the players. That doesn’t help it makes it worse because the majority of this country isn’t racist as you project it!
You’re a major part of the problems we have in this country today.

Superbowl Half Time Show
I am very upset that you allowed Snoop Dog to be part of the NFL Superbowl Halftime Show. If you listen to his music, you will see that he promotes killing law enforcement officer, uses vulgarities/profanities, and the "N" word in an very negative way. In the future, please screen your acts before approving them to make sure they are consistent with the NFL's mission statement and good clean United States of American beliefs.
Desired outcome: Clean, quality halftime entertainment
The NFL has gone woke. Goodell needs to go. I don't watch anymore. I know where to look if I'm interested in politics & a football game shouldn't be it. The owners need to wake up & get rid of Goodell.
Superbowl
WORST Half time show EVER
Time to STOP watching Superbowl
Desired outcome: Improve NFL Superbowl
Super Bowl
I heard that M&M, the superstar gangster, took a knee at the super bowl. So glad I did not have to watch this as I stopped watching the NFL a few years ago,. Nothing but overpaid thugs. I went underwater in Desert Storm to knock out Iraqi mines. Then cleaned out Kuwait. If this is this clown's thanks, then apparently I was fighting the wrong people. This is a slap in the face of all veterans who fought to save his rights to live a free life, and not, it does not give him the right to disparage us. He should move to Cuba. I'm sure he would be happier. They will love him protesting too.
Desired outcome: NFL broke.
Super Bowl Halftime Show
I just watched the worst Super Bowl Halftime show ever. If only 26% of the American population is black then why were all but one major performer black? Additionally, over 95% of the backup dancers were black. Where is equal representation? The only good thing was that the sound was so poorly mic'd that I didn't have to hear their so called rap singing. I did, however, have to watch Snoop Dog and a couple backup dancers grab their crotches, which was disgusting. Maybe next year year you can provide a decent experience.
J. E. Litman
It appears the NFL wants to cater to the black population in this country. There are few Caucasians involved in singing the National anthem or being involved in any half time shows. I'm sure that because about 70 percent of NFL players are black they would say they are more athletic/ more qualified. The same cannot be said for coaching positions and yet they continually want to push for more black coaches---WHY? One of the main reasons there is such a division between whites and black people in this country is because black people want to keep that division going--they have the Black College Kick Off game--there is no white kick off game--that would be Racist. There is a BET- Black Entertainment Channel--there is no White Entertainment Channel--That would be racist. There is the Black Entertainment Awards---there isn't a White Entertainment Awards--that would be Racist. Until we all just become Human Beings / American Citizens there will always be division between us--created mostly by the Black Community and the NFL.
I agree 200%… next year I will record super bowl so I can fast forward through that most boring and disgusting half time. It made me lose interest in the rest of the game! Who made the decision for rap during all of half time? I know we all have different tastes in music…so why not mix it up a bit? I’m not looking for polkas or big band music…but can’t we find a middle ground somewhere?
I will absolutely agree that this was the worst Halftime show I have watched ever. Football is supposed to be a family sport that can be watched by all. It is not. Pepsi should be ashamed
to put this Halftime show on tv.
Worst calls on the last 3 minutes to give the game to the rams!
Did you miss the long TD pass to start the 3rd quarter by the Bengals? The WR committed a 15-yard facemask penalty, Offensive pass interference, and grabbed the defenders Jersey to drag him to the ground before he grabbed the pass. There were three penalties on that WR, and instead of being called for one of them and nullifying the TD, he was granted n undeserving TD. And after that Aaron Donald Pushed the QB out of bounds and was even easy about it. He did his job and didn't commit a penalty or any unnecessary roughness, yet a few Bengals ran over and started shoving him. That is a Un necessary roughness penalty and unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on the Bengals and should have been called and wasn't. 15-yard penalty. Bengals should have scored 13 points at most in that game. Call that penalty in the third, take away 7 points and this game isn't even close. Rams would have won more like 24 or 27 to 13. Shouldn't have been close. Obviously, the refs were shaving points or giving points to the Bengals so they would cover. How do you not call a penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct or roughing when you are the ref and you are actually there pulling the offensive players away from the defender that they are shoving? How do you not call the penalty? You can't say you didn't see it when you are standing right there. This game was fixed in favor of the Bengal's, yet they still couldn't win it. It wasn't bad enough all the points that the refs hooked up the Bengal's with. it was as if the WR was told, go-ahead and throw the defender to the ground and catch the ball and run with it, we will not call the penalty. If anyone was robbed, it was anyone who bet on the Rams. Go ahead and tell me you didn't see the facemask AND the hold where he grabbed th should part of the Jersey and forced the defender to the gtound. Go ahead an say that didn't happen. Just like the crybaby Saints fans a few years ago, you want to base the outcome of the game on some bad call at the end and completely disregard all the bad or non-calls that went your way throughout the entire game that let you be in the game in the first place when they had no right being in the game at the end. Rams should have ran away with it but as I said. The Refs were allowing the Bengals to do whatever they wanted without calling penalties. They finally call a penalty on them in the end when it was gaain deserved and you want to cry about it. You should be damn glad they didn't call all the other penalties that they didn't call or score may have been 30 to 10. But I guess when you get used to not getting called for penalties that you should have been called for, you are shocked when they finally do their damn job and call them. in this case they were able to do their job as the Bengals were going to cover the 4 and half point spread even if the Rams scored. So the refs were relieved that they didn't have to ignore more penalties by the Bengals in order to keep it close. That game shouldn't even have been close. it was a disgrace. This league is a disgrace. They think that they have a better product by fixing games to keep the scores close to the end instead of calling the games as they should and if a blowout ensues so be it. But stop with the calling penalties only when games are close and ignoring them to keep the games close. This league stinks anymore with the way they call games.
Superbowl 2/13/2022 referee not calling fouls
Someone needs to investigate referees. Question, are they shaving points in the Superbowl on 2/13/2022. There was a facemask in the beginning of the 3rd quarter & no flag. The second was in the 3rd quarter when the quarterback was running and a Rams player pushed him out & no flag for the Bengals hitting that play, not one Bengel player but 3, right in front of the referee. Even the commentators said no flag. In 1st quater there was other plays that needed a flag right in front of the referee & no flag. Someone needs to investigate these referees because even if they are not shaving points, they know their friends & family is betting & that could be a cause to shave as well. I am disappoint how the NFL has become a mecca for shaving points & no one does anything. But if it was a player, NFL quickly gets on them. So why not get on the referees as well. Me, myself don't bet on it, I just like watching the game, but if that is how it goes, then what is the sense of watching. I am speaking out for a lot of people who are sick of the ref's not calling, especially when it is in their face.
Desired outcome: I don't know, cause the game is over & the winner will be claimed.
From experience in flag football back when i played referees make bad calls. they miss about 50% to 80% of calls that we can see are flags and miss call non flag issues. they have to watch the whole field and don't always catch it. also if i recall no coach asked for a review of the call [or at least wasn't reported] so they didn't review the calls. they both played a great game despite this. lets just let it slide and learn from this mistake ok guys?
I have the same complaint as others. Beginning third quarter. Not only did the WR commit a 15-yard Facemask penalty, but he grabbed a hold of the defender's jersey at the same time and dragged him to the ground. That was two penalties on the offense, yet neither was called, and a 70-yard TD was granted. Also, when the defender shoved the QB out of bounds legally, defenders came and started pushing the defender for doing what he is SUPPOSED to do! They should have been flagged for 15 yards! No penalties called. The refs weren't there to call the game. They were there watching with seats on the damn field! We are fed up with these refs. They are no longer needed. Put people out there to break up skirmishes and leave the officiating to the cameras. Why can't a game be officiated from New York?! At least it would be fair! Sick and tired of the officials deciding when they want to call pass interferences or let the players play! Who the hell are they to have the power to decide if games will be played by the riles or played by no rules?! THIS LEAGUE IS A DISGRACE, and the owners need to vote to get rid of Roger Goodell. He is a disgrace! And congress needs to put these officials along with Goodell in congressional hearing as gambling on football is legal in many places and these refs are deciding who they want to win and calling the games accordingly! This is Fraud on the part of the NFL and should be treated as such. The Bengal's should have scored no more than 13 points in that game. The refs did all they could to ensure they covered the spread. And again, this League is a FRAUD!
Nation Anthem
There is only one United States National Anthem. Why wasn't it sung at the Super Bowl? YouR organization is dividing this nation. YouR decision not to have it performed is DISGUSTING.
NO LONGER A FAN.
Desired outcome: RESTORE THE TRUE NATIONAL ANTHEM.
It was played! I retract my complaint. Well done on the National Anthem.
Super Bowl ticket prices
I am writing this as an ordinary Bengal fan. I have season tickets and have been a loyal supporter for years. I have followed the Bengals for years and have gone to London to see them, Las Vegas for an away game and Kansas City for the playoff game.
I am not a flashy fan who puts things out on social media so I am not going to be given tickets to the Super Bowl like some fans (I am happy for them, but I guess jealous of their good fortune).
I did not want to be given free tickets, I just wanted to be able to purchase them at face value, but resale markets are charging $5000 and above just to get into the game, not counting travel from Cincinnati. My husband and I are retired and could purchase them at that price, but not sure it is a good fiscal decision.
Please think about the everyday fan who got their team to the Super Bowl and do something so we can purchase tickets and cheer them on!
Thanks for listening and I hope you think about this for future fans who team will go to the Super Bowl.
Unsettling how MJ Costas' wardrobe tends to reveal too much cleavage on a regular basis.
If she were working in most professional settings in corporate America, she would be reprimanded for how she dresses. The men she works with wear professional attire and tasteful casual wear. They don't show up next to her posing in tight tank tops showing off their gladiator type profiles and physique s.
I find myself turning the channel to other sports programming consistently when NFL female cohosts flaunt their sensuality.
I'm an x college football player and get the testosterone thing, but "common man".
Get it together NFL
PS... I'm 64 and a lifelong fan of the Washington Football Team
Desired outcome: Higher standards
The pro bowl
Dear NFL,
I've been a fan of the NFL my whole life. Please don't wright what I'm about to say as the get off my lawn guy but the pro bowl is at its all-time low and embarrassing. I understand not wanting to get hurt and stuff but come on. Take off the pads and put on flags if it's going to be like that. I feel bad for the people that paid money to be there. Most of the people I talked to about the game said they could not stomach it and shut it off. I missed the game and watched the highlights, wow! way different from when I was a kid. To be fair I dug up on YouTube pro bowl highlights from 1990 to see if I was being fair in my judgment. Not to my surprise I saw an NFL quality game. my suggestion is: get rid of the game and concentrate on ppl getting inducted into the Hall of Fame instead. If I had more time, I'd get into things in more detail, but I think you get my point, especially if you watch the 1990 pro bowl compared to today's game. thank you for listening and your time.
Sincerely,
Sean Blazer
Desired outcome: get rid of pro bowl and make a bigger deal for the Hall of Fame inductees
Complaint against outrageous prices for SuperBowl tickets
Hello,
I am Elisha P. I was born & raised in Columbus, Ohio! GO BUCKEYES! And I am A die hard Cleveland Browns fan-thanks to my grandpa & dad who were born & raised in Cleveland! So Cleveland pride & Ohio pride runs very, very, very strong through my veins! So you can understand our excitement, when Bengals got all the way to the Superbowl! But you can also see how shocked me & my fiance Kyle, and fans were when we went to check for SuperBowl tickets they were over $5000 per ticket and that is OUTRAGEOUS! Fans shouldn't be allowed to buy & sell tickets like that (especially if they are only buying them to just sell them) and neither should the NFL & owners & artists be able to sell tickets that much because it makes it impossible for true fans to be able to go! When ticket prices are as outrageous like that, it makes me feel like NFL really cares more about profits then it does their fans, which is extremely disappointing as a super fan. And as a super fan, it makes me not only to travel to California not does it want to support NFL at all. If the NFL cares about their fans at all, I would suggest never ever selling tickets at that price ever again for any NFL games, whether Superbowl game or not so all fans can afford to go!
Desired outcome: Make every NFL ticket affordable to all fans, whether it's the SuperBowl or regular season ticket.
Airing of Superbowl at Cincinnati Stadium
I am appalled to learn that the NFL would not allow the citizens of Cincinnati to watch the Superbowl at their stadium. The NFL should not have jurisdiction over a city's use of their stadium. You do not own them, as you do not own their team. This is a simple request. They have waited too long to be denied the opportunity to cheer their team on.
Desired outcome: Don't deprive them the opportunity to celebrate at their "Field of Dreams". Come on NFL, show your humanity. Allow the citizens of Cincinnati their right to watch the game at their stadium.
Network programming
Am watching NFL now at this very moment. I noticed that Aditi kinkhabwaa who has covered the afc north forever, has all of a sudden been replaced on the Bengals beat by James palmer. Despite the fact she's been covering the Bengals throughout the playoffs. Start the journey but can't finish it, huh? I don't necessarily view Mr palmer as that much of a better reporter than her, so why the change. Its not a good look. Aditi has been there at the network for quite a while now. I would like to think she would be treated better than this.
Desired outcome: Do the right thing.
Rigged games
Not fair when teams like kc don't get flagged for wrong doing, giving kc touchdowns, that are not real touchdowns. Calling flags only on other teams... ridiculous and unethical. Why can't we watch a game that's real, does it really only have to do with money. How sad is it. Greedy. Examples Kansas City vs Buffalo Bills. Kansas City vs Cincinnati Bengals. Stop hyping up quarterbacks that are not that good. Just because they are on commercials and make people more money, how disgusting. 🤔
It's obvious it's rigged... Take a look at the longest yard, remember the titans. If you haven't seen these movies, you should watch them. What happened to letting the best team win? That's real entertainment, not paying people off to put more money in the pockets. This team KC should not go to the Superbowl, they should be disqualified and the last games should be replayed in fair standings. Bills and Bengals games and actually give them a real chance to play a game worth watching
Tony Romo as an announcer for NFL games - horrible
I love watching football and these Playoffs have been wonderful. But I absolutely HATE it when Tony Romo is an announcer. He is the biggest bag of hot air spewing pointless nothings during the entire game. It's obvious he loves to hear himself talk, and usually talks about pointless things acting more like an excited kid in the stands instead of an NFL announcer.
During the Chiefs/Bills game he talked incessantly about nothing. He made pointless comments and on two occasions I heard Jim Nantz tell him to listen when the referee was explaining a flag call on the field. In last week's game, he talked over the referee three times so I couldn't hear the call against the team. It was infuriating. I wanted to reach through the tube and slap him.
During the OT play, he contradicted himself four times. He said he would have played it a certain way, yet the calls made on the field were superb and much better than Romo's could have been. Then he said the game wasn't over based on a call, yet immediately contradicted himself and said,
Oh it's over. During one point I turned the sound off and put on closed caption so I didn't hear his annoying voice. He's a disgrace to game commentators and I feel for Jim Nantz to be in the same booth with him during a game. Nantz hardly got a word in edgewise at times.
Desired outcome: Either train Romo to be a better announcer, or get rid of him. He's annoying, talks hot air incessantly, and doesn't add any value to the game. I ignored him most of the game.
Tony Romo WILL NOT SHUT UP! We don't give a crap about his opinions or what he would do! I wish I could just hear his co-host and not a single word from him! Every time he says, "I think . . ." I really don't want to know. He should stick with beer commercials or maybe he could transfer over to curling or synchronized swimming.
I whole heartedly agree that Tony Romo is the poorest NFL announcer CBS has! He is so biased on the smaller market teams. He attempts to call every play the way they are set up and it just gives the next team an advantage. I notice it's only when the Chiefs are playing he does this.
CBS... Romo has to go! You can't even hear the referees when they are announcing the penalties over him. When the games get heated his voice goes up and he sounds like a little kid screaming and trying to tell a story. I don't HATE anyone but HE comes awfully close!
Receiver low hits and OT rules
Receivers are extremely vulnerable to injury during a tackle as their attention is solely focused on sighting and receiving the quarterback's pass. They are essentially defenseless to the chance of serious leg injury. While helmet-to-helmet hits are (thankfully) forbidden, low hits are also especially dangerous to the receiver. Case in point: the Buccaneers Chris Godwin's season ending ACL tear at the hands of the New Orleans "Saints" in December 2021. During that game, it was clearly obvious that the Saints, who had no chance of being in the playoffs, took aim at receiver's knees repeatedly with the intent to harm. This is a repeating pattern of low-brow play by the Saints, and it must be stopped. A rule to eliminate low receiver hits must be enacted.
In addition, overtime rules must be changed to allow some semblance of fairness to both teams rather than giving a chance advantage by the luck of a coin toss. In the January 2022 playoff game between the Bills and the Chiefs, one of the most exciting battles of late game, quick scoring skill ever witnessed, the Chiefs won the OT coin toss and won the first (and only) chance to score. After the Chiefs scored with a field goal on first possession, the Bills had no opportunity to reciprocate. In a well fought battle for dominance after a lengthy season, both teams should be afforded an opportunity to secure a win fairly, by skill, rather than lose to the (bad) luck of a coin toss. That is a demeaning and senseless way to end a team's season. The OT period should be played out in its entire 10 minute allotted time, with the winner declared at the end of the period by score, not by the advantage of a flippant coin flip.
Desired outcome: Rule against low hits on receivers. Fair OT rule.
Over times
The Bills and Chiefs, Overtime rules! Not right .Flip a coin come on.Not fair Chiefs had the ball before that.U need to find a fairer way. This game will prombley be better than Super Bowl.I just don't feel this players were treated fairly.Just for calling tales he lost the whole season for his players. It should not be the excuse we been doing this for a hundred years either. It should be a subject to review.Very very disappointed 😢.
