The show Dubaibling is a fun show for women to watch. They can ogle the accessories and bling. However, because most of the people must be talking in Arabic, they dub English on top of it. So when only two (2) women are speaking it sounds like 20! First I thought it was my older tv, so I went to my two day state of the art one and it was the same. Also, I'd love to see more of Dubai, some real shopping and famous places and how the ladies get from natural to so beautiful. Dubai does things the US hasn't even thought of yet! But fix the dubbing!
Well worth it but nothing less than a decade old
I enjoy Netflix and having the ability to have thousands of media options available. Price is kept reasonable to the consumer for affordability. This coupled with hulu allow me to forgo cable and is 10 times cheaper and lets me have more to watch. I've never had an issue with customer service and have always found them to be easy to work with. 2019_____________
Add on: I enjoyed Netflix in 2017 and took a leave from it for 2.5 years. I recently reactivated it for 6 months 2020. Several old tv shows that were fan favorites got removed. Main hollywood favorites got replaced with terrible seconds. Netflix doesn't supply full seasons and leaves you missing a season here or there. Watch one show and the algorithm fills up your page with this or that. Watch one cartoon and it fills your page suggestions up with cartoons. I tried to find other stuff to watch under different categories and it wouldn't display anything but children shows.
Love, love, love this service
It's not a website - it's a window into filmography and describes 90% of my downtime. Yes, I am biased - and use Netflix every day I've even paid for my family to use this service, as they have their own viewing habits. I like the feature to set up different accounts and I also enjoy the email/whatsapp notification for a new series link or episode. It's one of the few websites which has changed the way I spend my leisure time and I think concept for investing in new netflix shows are funded in a non-traditional, low budget series really supports the fact, I am enjoying TV more now than I have ever watched before.
So, in summary - give netflix your money every month and you'll enjoy every moment of the new series released to your devices. There's no debating the matter. The service is far better than Amazon Prime, Now TV or Apple TV (ive used them all) and wayyyy better than getting a DVD delivered or going to the local video shop (awww, remember those days?)
Netflix Dual Membership for $20/mo gives you access to 100,000 titles! Beat That!
If you want the Best Entertainment Value then a Dual Membership to Netflix is second to none.
The cost of for rights to streaming content is very competitive and expensive. Netflix still leads, and you pay $8-10/mo for streaming, I think currently about 4,000 titles, and increasingly original Netflix production.
Here's the goldmine everyone seems to be ignoring being so fixated on streaming -- If you want a great depth and breadth of content, Netflix DVD library is second to none! 93,000 titles! And access to New Releases, 9-18 months before they go to streaming, if at all. I pay $12/mo for 2 DVD's at a time. I might watch 8 DVD's month at this flat fee. If they were all new releases you could use Amazon PPV and pay $6/pop and the same 8 movies would cost you $48 in a month.
So for $20/mo I get the best streaming [protected]@ $8/mo for one TV and 12/mo for 2 DVD's at a time. So for $20/mo I get access to 100,000 titles! No streaming service alone will ever be able to match this simply because Netflix bought DVD rights cheap for years before the competition woke up and have an incomparable library of TItles - 93,000 plus access to New Releases on DVD. Streaming is great for skimming the surface. DVD's for going deep. Can't imagine where you can spend $20/mo for a comparable value of nearly 100,000 titles! Dust of your DVD player or go buy one.
Shows I never heard of
Ok so I live in Ireland and I only use saorview tv. Sky tv is just too expensive for how little I would be watching. So my 2 brothers and I went together to get the 4 screen Netflix account for 12 a month. It's great. Lots of programmes I had never heard of and in some cases programmes which my jobs had stopped me keeping up with so the convenience of Netflix is amazing. New stuff added each month then to make it better. I love how we have individual profiles so my list is just mine and the KIDS profile is separate so if my cousin's come this profile is there automatically so on our Netflix from the beginning it was one profile plus kids but then we edited and now have our 3 individual profiles plus kids. So they don't have to see what I'm watching and their programmes won't be in my list either. Also there are Netflix original series which won't be seen anywhere else. I'm obsessed with hemlock grove right now. All in all Netflix is a welcome and cheap edition. And also my broadband is unbelievably bad its only 1.7MB and the Netflix works on a smart tv and 2 phones at the same time so don't listen to this "you need at least 2MB". Oh and also don't forget the first month is free, at the beginning you give your card details but you will not be charged until the last day when you will then be charged for the following month but you can cancel before this day and not be charged.
Since the early days
I have been a member of netflix since their earliest days and am still old school in that I receive actual disks in the mail. Don't ask me why - it just works for me. I've never had a problem and find that turnaround time is fairly fast. I think I am near a distribution center. I can mail a watched disk back in the morning and receive notification that something new is on its way evening.
I have used Netflix to watch many, many cable shows I never had the chance to see when they first aired - series like The Sopranos and Nip/Tuck. Netflix's inventory includes many shows I enjoyed the first time and want to watch again in sequence like The Office and Parenthood. It's also good for viewing shows I never paid attention to when they were new but want to watch once hearing the hype later.
I appreciate the short and sweet online descriptions for shows and movies and find the site incredibly easy to navigate. I choose not to rank what I have seen because I know many suggestions for things I might like would follow.
I know it's probably crazy but I also use Netflix for research. (Yes, I know about google and others made for this purpose.) Often, we will see an actor and wonder what he or she was in before. A quick search on Netflix almost always gets us an answer.
I have been hearing about rate increases the last couple days. Although I love getting the little red envelope in the mail, I am not sure I will continue the disk plan if rates will affect it too much.
Netflix has truly revolutionized
Netflix has truly revolutionized the way we consume entertainment. With a vast library of shows, movies, documentaries, and original content, it has become the go-to streaming platform for millions of users worldwide. As an avid Netflix subscriber, I can confidently say that this service has exceeded my expectations in every aspect.
Firstly, the user interface is incredibly user-friendly and intuitive. Navigating through the extensive library is seamless, thanks to well-organized categories, personalized recommendations, and a powerful search engine. It is effortless to find content that suits my mood or interests, making the browsing experience enjoyable and efficient.
The content variety on Netflix is unparalleled. From critically acclaimed TV series like "Stranger Things," "The Crown," and "Breaking Bad" to blockbuster movies, Netflix offers something for everyone. Additionally, their commitment to producing original content has given rise to exceptional shows like "Ozark," "Narcos," and "The Witcher." These exclusive series not only showcase the platform's dedication to quality but also offer unique and engaging storytelling that keeps viewers hooked.
What sets Netflix apart from other streaming services is its commitment to diversity and inclusivity. The platform offers a multitude of international content, allowing users to explore different cultures and perspectives. From Korean dramas like "Crash Landing on You" to Spanish thrillers like "Money Heist," Netflix embraces global storytelling, making it a truly inclusive platform.
Furthermore, Netflix's recommendation algorithm is a game-changer. It learns from your viewing habits and suggests content tailored to your preferences. This feature has introduced me to numerous hidden gems that I might have otherwise missed, expanding my horizons and exposing me to new genres and creators.
The streaming quality on Netflix is exceptional, with options to stream in HD or even 4K, depending on your subscription plan and device capabilities. The seamless streaming experience, combined with the ability to download content for offline viewing, ensures that you can enjoy your favorite shows and movies anytime, anywhere.
Lastly, Netflix's affordability and flexibility make it an unbeatable value for money. With various subscription plans catering to different needs and budgets, it offers a range of options for individuals and families alike. Whether you're a casual viewer or a binge-watcher, Netflix has a plan that suits your needs.
Netflix is not only a rotten company but completely lied to consumers.
Netflix promised to send last DVDs in queue but instead mixed up my queue list, sent me wrong DVD, (which I had either removed from queue earlier or never had included), delivered Tuesday which I sent right back. Instead of mailing me the next DVD on my list, they REMAILED the same mistaken disc instead of my requested one which was on my list. Their whole promise to long term subscribers to send out a last day disc was totally bogus. Netflix, long ago put Blockbuster out of business, last contract with Warner Bros. leaving very limited selections and, meanwhile Netflix original productions are dumbed down garbage.
Recommendation: Short their stock, don’t subscribe to streaming, go to Prime Video, Roku or whatever.

11 days subscription ripped off + Call Center Incredibility
PLEASE, I REQUEST SOMEONE TO LISTEN TO MY CALL CENTRE CALLS ATTEMPT."
NETFLIX IS SO INCREDIBLE WITH CUSTOMERS ALLOWING A RIPPE OFF AND THEY WILL NEVER INVESTIGATE YOUR ISSUE, BEING SO IRRESPONSIBLE WITH THEIR CLIENTS. IT'S VERY ANNOYING FEELING THAT NO ONE IS Willing TO HELP YOU.
Netflix is in almost everyone's home, yet they really seem not to care solving problems or to respect their customers due too many excuses + Blaming much on customer End, and worse they claim giving credits while they didn't and they refuse listening to previous records.
We subscribed to STANDARD Using brother Email. We renew IT whenever needed. So the story as Follows
December 28th, 2022. We paid Standard which allows you use to screens at the same time. Out of sudden the screen should ANNOYING renewal messages by the second week. And SERVICE STOPPED ON 17TH JANUARY 2023...
I called to address the issue. There are too many excuses in every call and never solution and they go like "You want to cancel your account or pay new fees?"
No solition.
1-they tried pointing at the due date. That it is recorded to be 17th of every month and so service stopped even though you are ripped off because this is how it is.
2- someone has upgraded to 4 screens and that is why it stopped on the 17th. The Lady Agent at probably second call. Informed me that THE UPGRADE CAN JUST HAPPEN SIMPLY BY PRESSING YES TO IT. They blamed it on us... I tried to explain that you created the sharing service, so you must protect who ever paid by at least a conformation or an informative email saying that someone has upgraded... when i said this probably happened by mistake. They said it is your fault to share your account... I can't believe they created a sharing service and no confirmation for any addition and BLAME IT ON YOU FOR SHARING. I thought this is what their business all about. SHARING...Guess what was the respond by one of the agents " This is how it is, we can't offer anything."
- Credibility Gap was the worst and felt insulted and belittled by thatwas the worset.
One of the time waste attempts. They offered 25% off if i renew subscription and simply forgetting about the 11 days i was deprived of. I refused obviously. BUT TODAY 14TH FEB 2023 QATAR TIME. I CALLED AND THEY WEREN'T COOPERATIVE PLUS THE AGENT CLAIMED I WAS CREDITED 15 $ AND THEY RETURNED MY SCREEN AND ALLOWED TO USE THE SERVICE ON JANUARY 2023, ADDRESSING THAT MY ISSUE WAS SOLVED... I SAID THAT IS NOT A FACT AND THE SCREEN STILL OFF SINCE JAN 17TH 2023. ASKING HIM TO INVESTIGATE AND LISTEN TO PREVIOUS CALSS... AGENT CARELESSLY SAID NOTHING TO INVESTIGATE AND NOT NECESSARY TO LISTEN TO RECORDS...
I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY SIMPLY CLAIM THAT I WAS CREDITED AND ISSIE WAS SOLVED AND IMPOSE THAT FALSE ASSUMPTION AND NOT WILLING TO BELIEVE ME NOR LISTEN TO PREVIOUS RECORDS THAT PROVES MY SOLUTION HAS NEVER BEEN SOLVED AND STILL I'M DEPRIVED FROM THOSE 11 DAYS..
Netflix has become one of the biggest scams on the streaming market
I live by myself have multiple TV's in my house hold, and talked to a representative about 3 years ago about adding my parents to my account even though they don't live with me. They told me to get a premium account which allows you to add up to 2 people who don't live with you. So for over 3 years now I've been paying $300 a year so my parents could use my Netflix. This is what the plan description says
Premium
Unlimited ad-free movies, TV shows, and mobile games
Watch on 4 supported devices at a time
Watch in Ultra HD
Download on 6 supported devices at a time
Option to add up to 2 extra members who don't live with you
Netflix spatial audio
It list in a completely separate area that: Premium: 20.99 CAD / month (extra member slots*** can be added for 7.99 CAD each / month) which to me and every single person I know means that if I need anything above the 2 extra members included with my premium account it will be an additional charge. This thinking was also confirmed by the scam artist over at Netflix when I spoke to them. Come to find out that after this new primary residence verification thing they are doing, that was not the case at all and that I (according to them) misread the plan details and its not the responsibility of Netflix to ensure I understand my plan details. Even though this was the description of the plan I was given by a customer service rep at Netflix. I'm a single guy who lives by himself. I could of got a basic plan for $10 a month and saved myself almost $200 a year for the last 3-4 years and received the exact same benefits I was receiving from a premium plan. Called Netflix today and was basically told sorry about my luck. So I have cancelled my subscription after being robbed of hundreds of dollars for nothing. Zero compensation offered for being mislead by a representative of Netflix, absolutely no care at all that a member was leaving after having Netflix for over 15 years. In all honesty with the content included lately I'd advise everyone to switch to one of the other providers with better content and clearly better customer service. I understand the update to stop people from sharing their Netflix accounts and I to could of scammed them and just had a basic account and shared my password with multiple people. But I paid for premium so that I could share with other people and it turns out that instead of supporting the company that provides me with entertainment with the accurate member rate and not scamming them, they were scamming me the entire time. Why would a single guy who lives by himself need the ability to watch on 4 separate devices at the same time and download on 6 different devices at the same time. Why would I agree to all of those add-ons that were explained to me by a representative If I didn't think it was part of sharing with my family as explained to me by an employee of Netflix. 10 year member lost and hopefully many more. Congrats Netflix your greed will cost you in the end. Sincerely scammed out of hundreds of dollars by Netflix.
6.50/month additional cost for the plan.
I received an email advising that my plan had been changed to the most expensive plan (I was on the grandfathered plan), which is essentially the same thing. I called in to have this corrected as this was not a change that I made. I was told by Netflix that I couldn't go back to my plan because it no longer existed. They kept insisting that I made the change, again, I didn't, my account was hacked. So because my account was hacked I now had to pay an additional 6.50/month to get the same thing that I was getting prior to that? I was also told on the same call that a manager would call me back only to find out, when I called back and after receiving no call, that Netflix doesn't do callbacks. So to review, Netflix hacked my account (can't think of anyone else who benefited), gaslit me saying I did it, told me someone would call me back and didn't. They obviously have a monopoly on their programming and feel that they can treat their customers however they want.

Subscription cancelled for paid period
Hi,
On 21-02-2024 I found out that Netflix had removed my subscription from my account. This was done without any notification/explanation.
I contacted customer support through chat. The rep indicated that my subscription was cancelled due to 'unusual activity' but could not explain what it was about.
I was told that I needed to restart my subscription with a different card and basically pay double for part of the period I paid already for.
The credit card was used for 2 consecutive payments which were both successful.
It's unacceptable that Netflix cancel the subscription while it was paid for without any explanation. What could even be a reasonable explanation for such action?
I doubt whether I will ever restart my subscription with Netflix.
Desired outcome: Netflix should pay back the period: 12/02/2024–11/03/2024Receipt No: 8C12E-76AE1-6D4B0-1D18E

Netflix gift card
I received a Netflix card for Christmas (in Canada). We are on vacation for a couple months in another country and brought the card to set up and enjoy Netflix. We went through the account setup and entered the gift card info and everything seemed get set up. We launched Netflix ten it stated that we could not view in ths country.
I reached support via chat within 15 minutes of having ths issue and spoke with Karthik who told me a gift card from Canada could not be used abroad. I asked how we could proceed with this issue as the card did not state on it that it could only be used in Canada, nor did the account setup process flag me that the card could not be used away from Canada. Rather it took the card then stays you can't use it (as Netflix know where you are and where the gift card is from) . The customer service rep was zero help. I came up with a number of suggestions and these were his answers:
1) We can't credit the gift card despite it can't be used
2) We can't put a credit on your account to compensate for the gift card amount
3) We can't place it on hold so you can enjoy Netflix when you arrive back in Canada
So in the end Netflix has the ability to know your location and know the gift card can't be used in that location, but still takes the card and the money for a service that they can't or won't provide and offers no recoarse.
I asked for his superior and he stated there was nobody. I asked for an email for the complaints department and he satted there wasn't one he could give, I asked for his ID # and he said he couldn't give that out.
Very, very disappointed with Netflix and I will be openly sharing this experience on every solcial media platform that i have as I would hate for others to experience the unprofessional, unethical practices of this company. In a time where there are so many choices like Amazon Prime, Disney, Crave and many more choices I would've thought that they would be able to figure out how to provide a remedy for an issue that could've been resolved if they didn't allow a card to be used to try to purchase a service that was not offered. I just can't fathom a company taking money, not being able to deliver the product, and not offering a refund, credit or other solution.
Claimed loss: $30.00
Desired outcome: Any of the 3 options listed above are all possible, plausible solutions:1) Credit the gift card 2) Put a credit on my account to compensate for the gift card amount3) Place it on hold so you can enjoy Netflix when we arrive back in Canada

Old Content
I have been paying for Netflix for some time now however I rarely use this platform because the content is so old that there is no sense in logging on to see the same shows. Also if you watch a show it will be at least two years before they get to the next season. I watch more YouTube for free so Netflix before you lose another family of customers please step your service up for 2024. Happy New Year
Claimed loss: Paying for a crap service with no new content.Provide new content with some diversity
Desired outcome: I want bang for my buck however I am being charged more for a crap service with old content.

Inappropriate content
Netflix has a series out now titled 'Obliterated' and I feel that they have really crossed a red line here: the content in this series goes well beyond 'salty' and has now crossed into what I consider to be obscene pornographic territory. This show depicts overt sexual acts and displays body parts that I would never have imagined seeing in anything less than an 'X-rated' show. This includes openly displaying male/female body parts and drug use.
I think that I have been fairly patient and tolerant with Netflix over the years with their pushing the envelope on these issues but this show is a bridge too far.
Desired outcome: Remove this show and anything like it. This is to include everything scheduled to be broadcast.

Netflix customer service billing
On November 27th I received an email that said my Netflix plan would change at the next billing cycle. I went into my account to try to change it back to the original basic plan that I had but there was no option to do that.
I called customer service on December 1st and told them that my disabled son pushed the wrong button and I would like to go back to the basic plan. Mark at customer service told me that he did not have the option to switch me back to the basic plan. I had to cancel my service because I cannot afford $17 a month.
The rules of Netflix state that the basic plan is not available to new or rejoining members. The basic plan is only available for members who are existing. I explored that we made a mistake and that I didn't sign my password. Mark still did not change it back.
Claimed loss: Loss of favorite TV service. Loss of peaceful mindset.
Desired outcome: I want to change back to the basic plan for $9.99 per month please.
New netflix household system
Netflix,
My family and I have been loyal customers of your service for years & have enjoyed your entertainment greatly.
Recently, upon trying to relax after a stressful day, I went to my TV to turn on Netflix, only to realize that you implemented your new “households” system, which requires families to pay an extra $7.99 per month for additional members on their accounts. I heard rumors stirring that this decision might become a reality, but seeing it finally implemented is deeply upsetting to me, and I’m sure many other customers.
What you may not realize about this new change, is that it disproportionately affects families with college students, disabled adult kids, and low incomes. You claim to promote a message of inclusion, diversity, equality, etc. while simultaneously creating a policy that detrimentally affects the very populations you say you support.
I personally am a disabled 20-year-old, on SSI disability, unable to work. I live in a different city & household than my parents, and my independence has been and continues to be very challenging. But my independence is very important to me, and therefore, I’m fighting every day to make it possible. My illnesses & conditions have already caused a great burden on my parents, and decisions like the one you’ve made with your “households” system only make the financial burden more immense.
This decision has also caused college students (a population I am surrounded by as a young adult) to further struggle with finding a balance between financing rapidly increasing tuitions & their education, while also finding entertainment they can afford that allows them to destress after a long day of lectures, labs, homework, jobs and more.
And then of course, when a family has a student or disabled adult kid that can’t fit your costs in their budget, these increased bills then come back to their families, many of which are already barely able to make ends meet with all the massive price increases of groceries and other necessities. So they are faced with the choice of canceling a service that gives them a much-needed smile at the end of a long day or further tightening the budget they use to provide for their family, so they can accommodate the extra expense of entertainment due to a billion-dollar company’s profit greed.
So I ask you, with respect and frustration, is it worth it? Is the extra money you may make from this worth ruining your reputation as a company trying to promote the exact opposite message of the narrative this policy has created? Do you realize what harm your decision has caused? Was a person “Netflix sharing” that paid for an upgraded plan with extra screens to make this possible not enough profit for you, and therefore you decided to punish consumers of yours that are just trying to give their family the opportunity to enjoy your entertainment? When it comes to profit, I honestly believe these changes of yours will backfire; I strongly infer that the unaffordability and negative messages you’ve sent tied to this change will cause a lot of families to cancel your services and turn to cheaper alternatives, like Disney +, causing you to lose, not gain, the profits you hoped for.
I sincerely hope that you will read this letter, and at the least, consider rethinking this change. I appreciate your time & consideration. Thank you for providing us with fun entertainment all these years.
Claimed loss: financial
Desired outcome: remove/rework households policy/system
I'm complaining about a show being canceled
The show is called 'the imperfects' it's a netflix original. Netflix please realize that you're failing yourselves by canceling all your shows — please im begging you bring it back. It gives me joy watching that show and knowing that i'll never get it back hurts so please. Just bring it back.
Control of my subscription area account given to a third party partner
I am reporting a crime that is happening with the approval of NETFLIX at this moment. Now I live in Spain, but before my Netflix account was Brazilian and was associated for two years with my phone provider in Brazil. I am a NETFLIX client since 2015. But now I have no contact with the phone company in Brazil, and at this moment, I no longer have access to the content, because the company in Brazil has suspended the package (which is obvious, since I am no longer their customer), but at the same time, the NETFLIX system prevents me from including a new payment method in my personal Netflix account.
I have tried to solve the problem via online chat and email, but NETFLIX just said that they are not able to do nothing, and I need to pay for internation calls to my old phone company in Brazil to try to solve my problem (so NETFLIX gave my subscription account control to a third party and wven as I request to give it back to me, yhey denied, what is a crime of identity thefh or account hijacking) .
Claimed loss: At the moment, I am on two days not able to watch content or to make a new subscription, using my account.
Desired outcome: Remove the control of the subscription are of my Netflix account from my old phone company (TIM Brasil), allowing me to make a new subscription by myself.
If you've linked your Netflix billing to your phone bill or a package with the phone operator (Claro?), that's a contract between you and the phone company that Netflix can't just terminate from their side. You may (or may not) have ended your contract with the phone company, but unless Netflix gets the cancellation notification from the phone company, they can't just disconnect your package from the account and start charging you from another method of payment. Once they get the notification from the phone company, your Netflix account will either automatically revert to your previous method of payment (debit/credit card) if you had one on file previously, or go on hold until you update the billing info.

I'm in the UK and I watched season 1 of Manifest, I was really enjoying it and it automatically went to the next season - nothing I watched was making any sense, series 1 left me on a cliff hanger and I see the person who was shot is walking around as usual, so they're not dead. Then I click back and see that I'm watching season 4, there is no season 2 or 3 - what on earth is going on?! I'm really disappointed and have, of course, stopped watching this now but I'm left really fed up and annoyed. I don't pay to be left with stupidity like this. Why do this?
Desired outcome: put on season 2 and 3 immediately please
Customer service
The lack of customer service @Netflix.com is incredulous. I was on the phone with the customer service department for at lease 1 hour 20 minutes and 8 seconds, which is when I last took a screen shot of how long I had been on hold with them and the run around they had been giving me.
My user account was hacked. NetFlix refused to tell me when / by how / by whom yet continues to bill me for services I did not receive. I requested a refund for billing of unused services and unauthorized plan upgrades by the hackee of my account.
Their response is that I should have changed my plan back to the lower plan option prior to the next billing cycle. Incredulously, I asked how I was supposed to do this when I am no longer able to access or recover my account with the email address assigned to my account since this was changed without my knowledge or express authorization.
I have not had access to my Netflix account since August 7 2023. Yet I am responsible for the charges of an unknown hacker. Towards the end of the conversation the customer service supervisor "Phil" and prior representative "Austin" magnanimously agreed to credit me for $4.50 since they could prove I had just accessed my account that day from a vizio smart tv. I asked them for the IP address of the streaming access point so that we could verify the origination point for this streaming access to which they were insistent it was my tv streaming and my device. Even though they had repeatedly confirmed they could see that the login credentials had been changed but would no tell me when, by whom, or where the new user gained the access.
Since Netflix does not have a corporate option for notifying them of a lack of service within their organization, this is the option left available to end users.
Desired outcome: I need an apology for the lack of customer service provided by both Austin & Phil. A refund for the lack of services paid for but not received from 8/7-10/16. An investigation of cyber security defenses for an information breach.
Lockwood and Co, the imperfects, and i am not okay with this(the show)
you keep making new season after new season and it's always the 1st one never a second, they always lead into a massive cliffhanger, without pursuit of a second season. They need a second season and the only reason you can't get people to watch the shows is because people pay Netflix to watch already completed and fulfilled story lines. not to watch an amazing new show just for it to be that: New. never to grow old and never to gain enough momentum from a second season if you only add a tiny bit of a show no one is going to watch something with one season if they don't think they're will be a second.
Desired outcome: i would like these three shows and more to have momentum. A second season. a reason they're there in the 1st place. a second chance
Netflix
We have used this service off and on. We think it's too pricey.

I canceled my Netflix account thru their app
10/03/2023
I checked my bank account, and saw that I was charged.I chatted with the company for a refund, we are still waiting. They are so quick to take money, but snail slow to return. They are not a good company for watching movies.
Desired outcome: Money Back
Watching a show
Yesterday I was watching a tv show and my girlfriend living in a different city from me, 8hrs away to be exact. We call on the phone to watch shows/movies together, basically pretending we are together while watching something. We were watching an episode and it played fine then the next episode it kicked me out saying that i need to either buy an entirely new account or try to reconnect with the main household account. We shared the Netflix account with my family for like idk 15+ years, the dvd mail order days? We have like 4-5 different profiles and I have one of them. So when I tried to reconnect to it or even used the travel option it still did not work. I live in a different city from my family as well. Nothing was working for me. I absolutely am appalled and can’t believe that “Netflix” went with this “new update” So for now I’m no longer a customer or supporting you guys at all. After being a loyal customer for many many years you guys pull this crap and took away the one thing that me and my girlfriend enjoyed doing. YOU took that away from us and I just can’t believe this at all. I don’t want any money, I don’t want a refund. The only thing i want is to be able to watch shows with my girlfriend again. Well thankfully there are plenty of other streaming services and we are happily able to watch without having to link to a main account or some other BS like that. I hope you are happy at the fact you ruined something that we enjoyed.
Desired outcome: I want a response and no refund.
Hate to break it to you, but you're the reason they did this. Netflix has always been intended to be used in a single household (as per their TOS), and because of account sharing they changed the system to keep track of where the account is being watched. You can still continue watching Netflix with your girlfriend or family, but you'll just need to buy an extra member slot for the account for an additional fee (or get a 2nd subscription).
I bought subscription for two devices but I must frequently confirm i’m the owner
Modern technology but same devices I use and frequently I should confirm I’m not stealing my own account. I contacted customer support and first they said I can use only one device but recently I upgraded my plan to use 2 devices. Basically customer support doesn’t have any idea about it I simply wasted my time chatting with them.
Netflix is a huge company and their application or whatever the system that they are using doesn’t identify same devices when you are using all the time
They determine your 'household' by the internet connection, so if you're having issues with 2 tvs within your own household check with your ISP why it looks like a separate connection to the system. If you're sharing the account with someone outside your household, depending on your region you may be able to buy an Extra Member slot (a side account, basically) for an additional fee.
You kicked me off my account
You’re a huge company that’s been very successful. I get it, you don’t want everyone sharing passwords with their next door neighbors or international girlfriends, but you have locked me out of my immediate family account due to my living despite:
a) being a college student
b) spent years being a customer (since you first released dvds online only (we were beta testers)
c) I’m still a dependent on my dads taxes
I think this is really lame. I used the “in traveling” option until that stopped working as well. We are just going to close the account (like a lot of other people I’ve spoken to) if you don’t find a better solution. Maybe charge like $2.99 or something for someone who is in the same family or legal household for using the account on one address each month. We’re already paying for multiple screens. There are so many situations where even spouses that live together 99% or the time may be in different areas. Maybe someone is taking care of their dying mother in another state. Maybe someone (like me) is in college. This is not a solution. We’re just going to update with Hulu and get YouTube subscriptions if you can’t work this out effectively and quickly. It’s just insulting and disrespectful to people that have paid for extra screen anyway, for YEARS.
Desired outcome: Restore my account access from my current address as well as my permanent address.
You can buy an extra member slot (a side account, basically) for 7,99 a month.
