customer service
I have been a customer with netflix for nearly 4 years continuously. I had my Cable turned off and pay for internet only because of netflix. My account was cut off today due to a payment. I called to request that my service be turned on for less than 24 hours due to my paycheck being available at midnight tonight. They refused to do so. I work night shift and have a house full of children with no computer no game system and now no tv. If this is how netflix repays their loyal customers of multiple years I feel sorry for them. With all the other online service to stream television I'm sure they would be happy to have me as well as any others my voice reaches as customers of theirs because netflix just proved it doesnt care. And get this they are no longer the best service available. Keep it up netflix it may be the age of digital media but it still consists of a world of consumers that are still human beings that are loyal to the companies that treat them as if their business matters.
australian call centre
I called the 1800 number yesterday only to have an Indian person answer the Australian number, which honestly does not worry me but I explained to them that I could not understand their accent andcouldthey please put me through to a manager, at first he refused, and was extremely argumentative accusing me of understanding him when it suited me, in truth I caught the odd word here and there and obviously replied.
I have no problem with whoever answers a phone but I would like to at least understand full sentences. But the more I as, ed him to put me through to a manager the angrier he became, eventually he put me through to an " apparent manager" who spoke English a little better, I proceeded to explain my problem in a very calm voice, even saying I'm so sorry but I could not understand the other person, by the time I finished the last sentence they'd rudely hung up on me.
I have no cancelled my Netflix subscription and I will NEVER use Netflix again after being treated with such disrespect.
Why is an Australia number diverted To India? If this is where their call centres are then we, asconsumers have the right to know before we make a decision.
Absolutely appalling treatment of a long standing customer.
anne with an e
I am very disappointed in Netflix for creating original series that seem like family-friendly favorites but which are actually shows with political secret agendas. I was really excited about Anne with an E, until every episode was suddenly riddled with homosexuality and condoning a lifestyle that I don't approve of. There are plenty of platforms to reach...
Read full review of Netflix and 4 commentsanne with an "e", second season, episode 3
Come on. Seriously? Netflix can't adapt a classic book to a TV series without injecting the LGBT agenda? This was nowhere in the book! You've ruined a great story. And for the newly enlightened added gay character, Cole, to be told, "You have such a life of joy before you!" it's just sad! Too many gays I know, even after they come out, are conflicted and unhappy, not "joyful" at embracing this lifestyle. Anne wonders how there can "be anything wrong with a life if it's spent with a person you love?" Ask that of the woman whose husband left her because he fell in "love" with another woman. Ask the child whose grandfather "loves" her in a sexual way. Just because someone (hetero/bi/homosexual, etc.) "loves" someone does not make a sexual relationship right. Stop trying to shove your morality down our throats and let the story just be the story!
There is love between two people of the same sex and then there is incest. I find it concerning you do not know the difference.
incomplete seasons of voltron legendary defender
Voltron Legendary Defender is supposed to already have released 6 seasons on Netflix excluding the upcoming Season 7 that'll be due to air on August 10th. There's only 2 available seasons for Malaysia and the show first aired in 2016! Fix this, subscribed for good shows and COMPLETE seasons to watch. Don't waste my money. I have to watch on pirate websites for season 3-6..
my account has been hacked
Hi my name is [removed] and I have been using the trial account of Netflix with the id [protected]@gmail.com but I am not being able to log in and when I tried forgot password and account and put in my name and bank account details it says my account is linked to dh******@gmail.com which is not my email account. So I would like help to resolve this issue and if possible deactivate my current account which was signed in with [protected]@gmail.com. Would be happy to see the problem solved and expecting a revert mail from Netflix on this issue
season 3 of miraculous : tales of ladybug and cat noir
When I checked on "coming soon" I saw that season three of Miraculous : tales of ladybug and cat noir was coming out on July 13, 2018. And i was excited as i had just finished season 1 and 2, as the day approached i checked to see it season 3 was there and surprisingly it was not. I thought there had to be a mistake so i waited another day and still there was nothing. It is now August 7, 2018 and there is still no sign of season 3
inappropriate viewing content. do not sent to australia
Dear Reed Hastings, CEO of Netflix,
I really don't know how to express my disappointment with Netflix.
I must ask: "What is Netflix thinking?".
I just saw the teaser trailer for your new cartoon series "Super Drags." This appears to a sexually explicit animated show clearly geared towards young and vulnerable children.
Netflix offers many great shows that children enjoy. Please don't give in to the pressure to sexually exploit our children.
I humbly ask you to reconsider adding this series to your line up.
Furthermore, Netflix recently hosted Michelle Wolf's disgusting, vile, and blasphemous "Salute to Abortion." This comedy piece spits in the faces of your Christian subscribers and other pro-life individuals around the world.
And that's not all! Netflix is also hosting an Argentinian movie called DESIRE that includes prominent child pornography. Despite concerns from critics and subscribers, you have refused to remove this movie from your platform.
Perhaps Netflix isn't right for me anymore. Do not make this available on the Australian market
Like thousands of others, I will not be subscribing to Netflix due to your continued attacks on life and the family.
I was once faced with something on Netflix I would not imagine watching. I tossed and turned for days, trying to think of the impact this show would have on the children! I thought about it for days, I could not sleep, could not eat...until I finally came up with a solution...I just didn't watch the show.
I felt like a weight had been lifted!
Maybe you should try it.
missing episodes 14 and 15
Both episodes 14 and 15 of season three of Avatar the last Airbender are missing. They provide major context for the series. The missing episodes are titled "The Boiling Rock: Part 1" and "The Boiling Rock: Part 2" and are highly important to the story progression of the show. By not including them, the series is confusing and obviously missing something important. Please Fix.
someone used my email and your floor manager adam said it’s ok
I had someone use my email to reopen or open an account and I called to try and resolve it. And after speaking with someone... who said there wasn't anything I could do. I asked to speak with a manager. The floor supervisor manager Adam id# 1029032 came on, and after trying to see if there is anything and him saying no he finally said that they will flag the account. I would have been happy to hear that before speaking with him. But after I found that out I asked why cant you just shut the account down or something along thoses lines. And he said no that's not how it works. Then to be honest it got a little unprofessional. My part and his. But I was trying to speak with his manager to try and see why this is ok with Netflix. Why someone can use my email. And well he said their is no one higher in the company I can speak with. And I called him a liar. So Netflix will you please contact me at my email Vincent.[protected]@gmail.com oh and I have a recording of our conversation and I hope to show someone at the company to see if he was fallowing company policy.
avatar: the last airbender
Avatar: The Last Airbender is missing four episodes on season 3 (Book 3 Fire). The episodes missing are "The Boiling Rock, Part 1", "The Boiling Rock, Part 2", "Sozin's Comet, Part 1: The Phoenix King" and "Sozin's Comet, Part 3: Into the Inferno". These episodes are all important to the series and it makes no sense switching from episode to episode. Please add these to the Canadian Netflix. Thanks.
Had a direct live chat with Vincent John, got immediate response
seasons available
Hi, so I was living in the US but now I moved to Colombia and yesterday I was Scrolling through Netflix and I noticed that season 1 is the only season available and I got so sad because I already watched season 2 while I was living in FL and season 3 is coming out in fall and I'm not gonna be able to watch it, and I really really love the series so please if you can do something about it, I'll be very happy and it would mean a lot to me .
Thanks.
new zealand netflix
I believe that New Zealand hasn't got access to as many resources as the United States does. what i mean by that is, we dont have as many movies or shows as they do... for instance, i would like to watch shows such as friends and greys anatomy on netflix but they are not on the new zealand netflix unfortunately. so all i am saying is that it would be so much better if we got what we paid for. The USA netflix is also cheaper than ours which is kind of unfair as they get more bang for their back. Excuse my bad language but nz netflix is crap! its so dull and all of the movies/shows aren't interesting...at all. america has shows like greys anatomy and friends and all we have is my little pony shows and shrek remakes. it is absolute crap... i just think that adding better content will help you guys in the long run, as it will help people to want to continue to pay for and use netflix.. just a thought. more people would want to have a netflix account as there are shows on there worth watching... sorry to bother you xox
orange is the new black
Absolutely disgusted that this show has used Down Syndrome in an episode of season 6 in a negative way.
Having a character use Down Syndrome as an insult is absolutely uncalled for, I know it's not down to the actress saying it but it just highlights how backward and insensitive the writers are and that they are happy enough to use a disability as an insult.
sacred games
u r showing violent sexual content in your show which is totally inappropriate.
(saif and sunny)-(nawaz and cuckoo).
this is a fu***** [censored].
hell of a show showing stuffs forcing people to attempt crime..
i am not asking u not to show the story thrill in the show but stop sexual-violent nonsense stuffs.
this is affecting teenage...
if u do not take action i can approach to supreme court and charge against you that you are showing contents which is destroying future of my country(India)..
JAI HIND!
streaming genres
Seriously? I want new material in the new release section! That movie called Handsome has been released to the public for about 5 years now. This is ridiculous how I can stop watching Netflix for like 6 months, come back, and only see like 1 show added in each category! Hulu used to be crap comparatively, now it's like waaaay better! Getting tired of this [censored]!
deceiving titles
It is alread very irritating having to look and look and look on Netflix for a new show/movie. When I go 30-40 minutes looking for something and finally find something that interests me I get super excited after reading the ENGLISH title and the ENGLISH description only to find out that the show is not even English. I am all for having shows and movies for everyone to enjoy, I think it's awesome that you guys have options for everyone, BUT it would be super cool if I knew ahead of time before getting excited about a new show that it's a different language. For example, have them in separate categories, or even have the description in the language the movie/show will be when I turn it on. This issue is just getting worse and more annoying. Hopefully you guys will do something to make it more known to people before they have to waste their time over and over again.
I agree. Foreign movies should be marked as whatever language they are in.
netflix
For years I have had a problem with the connection for Netflix in my bedroom and because I have other things I can watch, I always let it go every time but this time I'm really pissed off. After 5 Hours of trying to sign in I called Netflix customer service just for the person on the other end not to know anything about what could be the problem. Now I totally understand why they charge so little for this service as the people at Netflix aren't even knowledgeable about their own service let alone any technical knowledge of network or troubleshooting. It is a hit or miss with the service with no one to help you
Pretty sure that would be down to your ISP provider dude. Not the Netflix app.
why is netflix fatshaming streaming customers
Being B.A.D. (Big A$$ Divas): Self Proclaimed YouTube Junkie
I am an avid YouTube junkie. I find myself watching more YouTube channels than anything on Netflix or any other channel on the internet or TV. I'm a fan of being able to tailor my viewing experience. For nearly two years I watched nothing but Nigerian TV or Nollywood. Even though there was an overwhelming amount of cultism and witchcraft in Nollywood TV, I enjoyed the family messages of the older movies and television shows.
I moved on because I found myself disheartened by many of the storylines. Money and power were the focus of so many Nollywood TV shows. People were killing their own family members for money and power. I was ready to move on. There is so much garbage in the media, I don't want to sit down after a long hard day to relax and watch people sacrificing their own for fame and fortune.
I decided to watch Korean Drama or KDrama after watching a few Korean series on Netflix. Because they dealt more with family issues and were more focused on family values, I became a KDrama lover. I still watch KDrama and several YouTube channels such as Empressive, Lovelyti2002, and Unwinewithtashak whenever I want to see celebrity nonsense. I also watch multiple how-to shows such as D4Darius, Selfpublishingwithdale, and Bright Side for interesting how-to information. I watch
The Young Turks and other news channels for news.
As I stated before, I am a YouTube junkie. I find that YouTube allows for more diversity than any other media platform. I am even thinking of canceling my Netflix subscription to subscribe to the YouTube channel because Netflix does not do a good job of representing all of its viewers.
My question for Netflix is who decided on your Obese TV lineup and WHY? Where are the movies geared at making the plus size community feel included? Oh, and by the way, I don't mean the shows you currently have such as:
Netflix Fat Folks Lineup:
* Big as Life: Obesity in America
* Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead
* Killer At Large: Why Obesity is America's Greatest Threat
* Obesity the Post Mortem
* Shut-In's: Britain's Fattest People
Plus sized people have accomplishments, careers, dreams, friendships, goals, and romances. Why are these things not being reflected on your site? It is absolutely ridiculous in this day and time for people or a corporation to be so narrow minded.
The way plus sized people view your communication is that being overweight makes them and enemy to America or somehow inferior. Netflix should seriously take a look at its line-up. Your communications are really foul from a big person's perspective. Overweight people makeup approximately 68 percent of the population and yet are treated horrendously by corporate America.
Netflix it is almost like you are FATSHAMING those viewers who are overweight. You should check yourself before people realize they can go to YouTube and find a similar service which even allows people to create their own channel if they don't see something they want to see.
streaming
For the past 3 months in a row beginning around the 20th of each month, my streaming quality goes to garbage. I have high speed comcast internet with over 50mbps. However from the 20th to the end of each month I am almost completely unable to watch anything. The shows load extremely slow and quality is choppy along with rebuffering every few min. When I contacted netflix they blamed my internet but its constantly high speed and Netflix is the only thing that experiences trouble. It almost seems like Netflix is only allowing me to enjoy their service for the first 3 weeks of each month then it turns to crap for a week then goes back to full throttle at the beginning of the following month. Extremely tempted to terminate my service.
