REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ON HOW TO HAVE A PHONE BLACKLISTED.
My name is Gibson Mapokotera national identity number 63;018604-G-70 residing at House number 540 Nyaradza Township Gokwe. I work as a field manager for a company called Nyle and Kyle which is based in Bulawayo. Nyle and Kyle collects oral genealogies and forwards them to Family Search International for inclusion in their website
My job as a field manager is to recruit and train field agents and issue them with cellphone which the use to record oral genealogies and take photos. When a field agent gets another job he she is supposed to surrender the phone. When the phone is stolen the field agent is supposed to report to police.
Recently one of our agents got another job and initially he promised that he would bring back the phone but after a while he became evasive and declared that the phone was stolen. When asked to report to police he states that he has no time.
I am of the view that he is using the phone but so far he has refused to disclose his new address and am therefore unable to go and collect the phone.
I sought assistance from the police and the stated that refusing to surrender a phone is not a criminal offence but if I have proof that he sold it then it becomes theft by conversion.
I approached the small claims court and they gave me a letter of demand form which I completed and am supposed to take it to him so that he signs it. Since I do not know where he is am unable to make him sign.
The phone is a Samsung-SM-J120AZ IMEI number [protected]/08 SN R58HC53MFQL. Is it possible to have the phone black listed. Given the above situation what should I do to have the phone blacklisted or to be given the number which is currently using that phone.

I've sent multiple message no one responds. But when it comes to selling services their customer reps call me daily.

I used to use Net one for my overseas calls until One day I could not make any calls and was not not able to contact Net one for over a month. No one ever answered the customer service line so I finally gave up on them and switched to another very nice and reliable company by the name of Keep Calling. I had one hundred dollars left with Net One but I am more than willing to forget the money if they would only leave me alone. To this day, I receive numerous calls on my land line and both my husband's cell phone and mine from very obnoxious, nasty and persistent salesmen and women. No matter how hard I try to tell them that I no longer want to use their service, they insist on calling back every single day. I am now in the process, with the help of my lawyer, of filing suit for harassment against Net one and all their employees. A year ago I contacted NetOne that I moved and have a new number.Having their service for a number of years I thought switching to the new number would be easy. Up until two months ago I called many times to them to start service on my new number.They said I had to contact the phone co.to get things started, AT&T told me it was up to NetOne to contact them. I was getting phone calls for payment even though I had no service. I got in touch with BBB and filed a complaint. NetOne did not respond to BBB. Now I'm getting harassing phone calls again for payment that I don't owe.

Big scams
The biggest rip-off ever. You call their customer service line and you are put on hold then disconnected. On a rare occasion that someone in their office would answer the call, they simply state the computer is updating and call back in one hour. When you call back no answer. Their email is blocked so you cannot get in contact with them in that fashion. I am still getting bills from their company and I have not used their service in months and the bills simply state $3.87 for no usage which have been accumulating monthly. Also, they send a bill every 3 months even though the billing service is set up for monthly so they can charge a late fee of $10/month. When does a company bill someone for not using their service?

NetOne International disconnected my Long Distance Service in May 2010. I contacted Netone and enquired about the reason for the disconnection and to state that I had not received any physical Invoice from them. I was informed by the Agent that in March 2010, NetOne International upgraded their network and billing system and my account was caught in the process ie my bill was incorrect, my address was deleted from the system and I was given another account number. However, after consecutive efforts to have an invoice from them both physically and electronically to see what had happened with my Long distance Plan regarding billing they have not provided either and ironically each Agent quoted a different rate for the country I was calling. To make a long story short, they placed my account in Collections, still charge me late fees for each month it was unpaid, I have no idea was my invoice was for April and May, each time the Netone collection person called they quoted yet another $$figure to pay so at this moment, I am still unclear as what was I billed for, the rate it was charged, the reason why I cannot received an invoice for April and May and the true status of what I am being told I owe. Am I suppose to pay them regardless of not knowing what it is I am being billed for? The issue is not being able to pay but the fact that I have never received an invoice so that I can confirm the charges. How hard is it to resend an invoice? If you can bill surely you can have proof of what you are being charged for? NetOne International is acting very fraudulent in this scenario

I phoned NetOne international to cancel my services with them in October of 2016. The person I spoke to said that my account is cancelled. The reason for my cancelling was that they held my line so that I could not make any long distance calls overseas and my father-in-law was ill with heart trouble. They held the line because I was two weeks late to pay fro a bill that amounted to $16.00 or thereabouts. I called them repeatedly and payed the bill. They said the line would be released but they never released the line and I was not able to make any long distance calls for two months. In January, I started receiving collection calls for outstanding bill amounts. I told the gentleman who called that I cancelled the line in october and that I have not been able to use the phone for long distance since they did not release the line. He said that they cannot cancel until I pay the outstanding amount. I did not bother because I should not have been charged any amount for a line that was not going through anyway. FInally, I got fed up of the calls and I called them on March 9th, 2017. I was told that I now had a bill of $242.91! They cannot cancel my account until the payment is received. I screamed at the lady at this point. I was going to send them a cheque so I could be done with them, and obtain a record of cancellation on my accounts. Then, I thought, why am I paying for services I haven't used? Where did they come up with that number? I called back and asked for someone togive me a detailed breakdown of each month's bill from October to February 2017. I started investigating their track record as a company as well. They were imposed with a 1.6 million dollar charge for "cramming" customers. - incorrectly billing them after they had cancelled their services. I am planning to seek legal advice.
Monthly Bill delay
Netone International phone company has a delay billing practice, you get your bill in mail just 7 days before the due date. If you are busy or like 90% of folks in US who open their mails on the weekends, you have alreay missed the window and are out of luck. You will be billed $10.00 late fee, Great revenue generation scheme.
I have complained to them twice about it and NO change to their practice.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Monthly bills even after closed the account
I have problems with NetOne international. Even after I closed the account, they have been sending the bills with $10 late fees + $7 for taxes every month. When I closed the account their payment was $10, that came from previous month's late fee. I paid every month, but I was not ready for paying theri bogus late fee and now it is accumulated to $140 ($10 late fee + %7 for taxes + $0.99 for invoice printing fee), even 7 months after closed the account. They are cheating people. I never asked them to send hard copies to my home for filling my trash can. I am supporting Green Environament and paperless bills.
I have been bothered by their agents from Kochi, Kerala, India for switch over my account from Startec to NetOne. I had been with star tec more than 8 years and never had any problem with them. But NetOne international told me that they will credit $200 into account after switched to their service. But they never credit it and also bothered me a lot by now. I have been with another company for the last 7 months with the same phone number and I am paying taxes to them. I don't understand why NetOne charging taxes to the same number that I have been using with another company.

Pre paid calling card
They are a BIG SCAM ripping off people by changing the policy and not informing the customers. The ### took my money for the prepaid calling card and said the account has expiered because you did not use it in last 90 days. I confirmed with customer service by calling them before the purchase that there is no restriction or expiration but now the rascals say its on our website. I will call my credit card company and dispute the charges but these ### should be taughet soe lesson.

I can call India but Guyana South America. NetOne said they will fix the problem but it has been a long time and they are not doing anything about it, we cannot make any call to our relatives cell phones in Guyana either. At NetOne customer service, many of them take our phone call and all promise to handle the matter but no one does. Each time we try to connect and the call does not go through we get charged..it chew the minutes out. The call are very time consuming also...I have to use my break time at work. Too much problems, may have to switch.
Netone is the worst scam out there. I canceled months ago and am now receiving new bills with late fees. They just started up new without my permission. When I call they say that the office is closed today since they are muslim, or that they will call back in four hours... they never do. If you are thinking about using net one... DON'T. And good luck if you already are using them.
I am a current user of NetOne calling card service and will NOT recommend this service to anyone. Similar to Matt's comment I receive numerous sales calls in the most absurd hours of night, weekends, holidays and it is extremely annoying and unprofessional. What's worse is I called their customer service and requested them repeatedly to put me on the do not call list however that approach did not seem to work. I currently have approximately $20 in credits and they still constantly bombard me with sales calls to recharge my credit. It is quite simple - If I want to recharge I will do it on my time and my dime. Overall, the service sucks, they do not have the most competitive rates and will cause you more grief from the sales calls therefore I will not recommend you to sign up for this service. Save yourself the hassle and look for another service provider or just use SKYPE service. Once my credit runs out it will be no surprise when I say that I will absolutely not use their service ever again.
Matt I would file a complaint with the BBB and also recommend to bombard their Facebook and LinkedIN profile to stop making their annoying inconsiderate sales calls.

I was a customer for Netone International and I decided not to extend my calls with them. I receive a sales call from them for the past 1.5 years now. I have called and asked them NOT to call me again numerous times. I do not know what to do at this point. I don't know who else to call and ask for them not to call me anymore. Since I moved to Switzerland, I get calls between 2 AM and 6 AM. Every time they call me; it costs me .47 cents.
If anyone knows how to deal with these idiots, please let me know.

i am a current user of the Netone i've been using it for almost 18 months they definitely improved their services they handle problems in a professional way once they over charged me and i was so surprised when i got my bill so i called them and i was mad i explained to the customer service my issue and they transferred me to their manager and he handled the problem the best he can and i was pleased at the end. i would recommend it to other people
I stopped using Netone for the long distance service. However, I kept receiving bills. I called the customer service and inquired about these bills and explained that I do not have any usage, so why I am getting charged. I was told in order from them to stop billing me I had to call and request to cancel my account. I submitted an official request to cancel my account and they understand my situation and waved of my current bill. I really appreciated all their effort. I really recommend Netone for domestic and international calls because they have excellent customer service.
I am an existing customer with Netone for 2 years and I travelled overseas for over three month, so when I came back to the States my account was expired, so I called customer service and informed them about my situation. They worked with me and transferred me to the sales department and I was told that in order for the account to be active, I should make one call at least within 90 days which is posted on their website. The supper visor reviewed my case and find out a solution to activate my previous balance of $225. I am currently enjoying the service and I appreciate the way that Netone handled my complaint. This is my experience with Netone and I high recommend this company for all customers that needs to call overseas in a low rates :)
