Because he loves Ronaldo we bought my son a 2nd pair of football boots.
The first pair he had to stop wearing because of the smell - like really strong cat pee.
But guess what after playing a football game in really wet weather the second pair stink exactly the same - terrible, unwearable!
Don't buy - Junior.

Is there anything that gets rid of the obnoxious smell, it IS, NOW, causing cats to mark their territory and the entire house stinks of these boots, I agree with all the comments above, but what has changed in the composition of these boots over the last 2 years + to cause this reaction when the boots get sweaty or wet? Please Nike sort this out

I bought Nike Air Max for my grandson in September of this year and the soles are coming apart.
My son has had his t90 boots for 2 months and has played in wet weather, the smell in unreal, like cat pee but worse, we keep them in our hut, because we cannot take the smell anymore. surely nike have to do something about this as they are very expensive to buy, and we have to go out and buy another pair, definetly not nike again, which is very dissapointing as they are my son's favourite make of trainers.
My son wears his trainers to school (Nike Air) - rapidly loosing all his friends !
It is interesting that this problem has been discussed on this forum for so long with Nike responses about how they are looking to rectify the problem as long ago as 2009. Anyone any more ideas on how to get rid of the smell? Is it because we put trainers in the washing machine these days ?
We are in south Africa and ordered a pair of t
T90 for my son who plays cootie here, He has worn them about 5/6 times and they are so smelly we have to leave them outside! Unfortunately we can't just return them as we are on another continent. We paid £170 which is a lot more than others and the postage was a lot too! Has anyone got any idea how to get rid of that revolting smell. I have tried Epsom salts, washing and soaking in fabric softener and nothing has helped... Am now desperate.
shoes didnt fit
i bought nike running shoe 20days back. it creates tension in my leg while running or walking
Just stumbled on this thread. I have two boys who both have stinky football Nike football boots. I am really disappointed to see how far back this problem (ie years) and yet the problem continues. I guess it is an indication of poor quality materials.
