I took my vehicle (Nissan Xtrial) for a service in the 2nd week of july 2019 and requested my vehicle to be diagnosed as it was making noise, the outcome was there is something wrong with the vehicle. When I fetched the vehicle the diesel was leaking from Benoni to Meredale where I am residing as someone did no properly replace the pipe, there were issues and dealership being annoyed when I requested my fuel that was lost, they ended up putting a diesel of r400, I don't know how was that quantified after I was asked as to when was the last time I put fuel on my vehicle. They still did not book the vehicle for the turbo to be repaired until last saturday when the system became faulty and on monday I went back to Nissan ic auto in Benoni and ask them to book the vehicle of which they did and in the afternoon when I was about to knock off I got a call from them that they cant give me the vehicle as the engine might fail if I continue driving it, later that day I was not provided with a loan car and I got to a taxi very late of which I told them I was dropping and picking up the child at Crèche in Johannesburg south where I am staying. I was not given a vehicle for the whole week and made other arrangements after a week when the Nissan sa was ready to give me a car I rejected the offer as I had already made other means. The vehicle was completed mid September I fetched the vehicle I drove, before I got home the underneath cover was not replaced it was falling touching the road all the way from Benoni to Meredale and by that time the dealership had closed and I called them in the morning and they sent someone to go to Meredale (home) to fix the cover or engine shield. They confirmed that the service manager requested to see if there were any leakages before I fetched the car and forgot the put the screws back hence the cover was falling.
Afterwards things were normal, the vehicle was fine until the Friday the 4th October while I was driving from Joburg cbd the radio screen just went off and decided to passby the Nissan motordeal at Ormonde for advise and I was asked to book the vehicle in for monday the 7th oct and took the vehicle in as booked, around 9h00 I go a call from ormonde that the brackets and screws on the radio were missing and they were telling me that I opened the radio I was very furious at them as I never taken my vehicle anywhere else except Nissan dealerships. They told me to fetch my vehicle as the warrant was not going to pay for the damage or I must pay cash I ended the call. I called Nissan Benoni and informed Helen (service department) and asked as to what they have done to my car when they were fixing the turbo since the brackets and screws were missing and there was nothing holding the radio inside, she asked me to bring it to them and she promised that she was going to report the matter. While I was preparing to fetch my car at Ormonde, I then got another call from Ormonde that they were going to call the company that was responsible for radio installation of which the company arrived the following day being the 8th October 2019, the radio was repaired and the outcome was that since the radio was not being held by anything inside with no brackets, no screws it was going to hit me on my face or someone at the back seats if I were to be involved in an accident which was a serious risk.
Currently I am very disappointed with Nissan south Africa and Nissan ic auto, currently I am driving a vehicle on daily basis I don't know what else is going to happen with the Nissan Xtrial I am driving and I will submit this case to my lawyer and request another vehicle as I am not sure as to what else is damaged on the vehicle I am driving, I guess Nissan sa is just waiting for the warranty to end thereafter I have to handle the mess done by the incompetent people repairing my car, my car underneath is tied with plastic clips.
I need a way forward to this issue as I don't want this vehicle I bought through finance brand new and I am paying for it and I am not happy about at all.
