I am having problem with Nokia N9..
I bought a Nokia N9 from Axiom Telecom Jeddah City Plaza on October 25th 2011, and since date I am facing problems with this phone.. Though I thought the phone's hardware was good when compared to the software I was proved wrong..
The phone got so many flaws that i have to reset or restore it like once a month atleast.. Whenever I used to take back up it used to hung up, camera's sometime showing up and sometimes doesnt.. And when newer versions software updates were available, faced lot of problems updating the phone as it never went smooth and even after each update new problems arose..

My camera stopped working after update and i couldnt do anything about it as I am currently staying in USA.. Recently my phone started behaving crazy after i switched the sim card.. Sometimes it detects the sim card and sometimes it doesnt so fed up with problems I sent the phone to my brother who took it to "Nokia Center, Prince Sultan Street, Jeddah, KSA, " there he faced the rudest behaviour ever..

The phone was taken into warranty with some hesitation as there is confusion with one or two year warranty over the phone.. They kept the phone for almost two weeks then called my brother one day and the arab representative spoke very harshly telling him that the phone was dropped and a part is missing inside though the phone was not dropped (it was because of sim card swithching the problem started) and they closed the warranty.. Not even listening to a word from my brother, just shunning him off..
With this kind of behaviour how can I believe that a part was missing, i could even say the Nokia center didnt handle it properly and blaming the customer for their fault..

I went to Nokia website to bring this issue to higher authorities but in vain, when I was clicking the "Contact Us" tab it was taking me to a discussions forum instead of giving me any helpline number or emal id to contact nokia directly.. I was pissed here too.. Even online I couldnt find any customer support information, I just have to go to nearest Nokia center for any problem which in my case is in Jeddah as the Warranty is applicable only where I purchased the product.. For a costly phone like N9, Nokia didnt even provide world wide warranty..

I have been a very loyal and consistent Nokia customer, I have used many nokia phones, never faced any problems with earlier phones but this particular phone N9 gave me a lot of trouble over which I came across the horriblest Customer Service from Nokia corporation..
I feel this is what the reason is that Nokia doesnt hold any market in USA and people hate it here, as I have used many electronic products here and post sale customer satisfaction is most important to them rather than just selling the product..

I feel very cheated and hurt by Nokia as there is no value of the customer and what he spent on the phone..
Though I hope Nokia will look into this matter and give me a satisfying solution..

I am the owner of 2 Nokia N8 when one is down and fixing I am using the other one and vice versa.
A few months ago I went to Nokia Care Dubai Zayed road, to fix one of them. Phone is under warranty. A few days later I received a call stated that my phone was having a and this was not taken care by the warranty. I pay to fix it...
6 months later (now) i got my second phone with a low battery, i came to Nokia care (same place) to ask them to change the battery; the warranty of this second phone was extended on July 2012. Guess what? A few days later I received a call stated that my phone was having a and this was not taken care by the warranty! I am actually dealing with a Manager (Indian guy) whom I have met in his office to ask him if this was a jock! Told him that I assume they were stated this to all client in order to not fix phone that are under warranty, he just explained that this was a coincidence! This is a 2 weeks old case and the manager at this time did not call me back to advice on any follow up.
Is there any one to advise where I could bring the case in a higher level?
I am ready to go forward with this for 2 main points: first the manager is not at all up to a customer service level and honestly does not care at all, second, because it is just not possible to laugh so openly on a client face! by telling me the same for 2 different phone.

On 16th of September i visited Nokia Service Center at Dinajpur, Bangladesh with a complain that battery of my mobile set is not charging properly (getting flat in 3 hours or so). The gentlemen attending me said he can send my mobile set to their Head Office for repair only after the Eid Festival which was still 10 ten days to go and included the Eid Holiday of 3/4 days almost half a month!
I was at loss what to do and to whom to seek Help?

I had purchased a Nokia Asha 300 in February 2012 only to go through trouble and hassle. The Nokia Asha 300 phone given to me was defective and did not function properly for even one day. After much argument, it was replaced with another phone which was nothing better.

Within a few months the touch screen started giving me problems. (by the way this phone has the worst touch screen ever. Even the local phones have a better responding touch screen).
I took my phone to Nokia care on 27th July 2012 which was repaired and given back to me. It has been two months and the touch screen stopped responding completely. I took the phone to Nokia Care and was shocked to be told that there is liquid damage and warranty will not cover it. I am being asked to pay around Rs 1500 for no fault of mine. My phone has definitely not been in touch with water and the executive told me that the damage can be because of the moisture as well.
I asked the executive(krishna) at Micronas Telecom(Sector 2, Noida)to give me in writing that you are rejecting the warranty claim and hand over a picture of the defective part but he refused to do so.He asked me to pay Rs 1550 for the repairs.
Now Nokia customer care has written stating that not only will they not cover this liquid damage, it will also void all future warranty(that is a Nokia Policy). It is sad that a company like Nokia which was known for quality has started making such sub-standard phones that get damaged by regular usage and moisture(according to Nokia care) in a dry place like Delhi.
