Ocwen escrow refund

On April 7, 2014, I refinanced and Ocwen was paid off on April 7. It is May 22 and I am still waiting for refund of $1, 507.11 from my escrow account. I get different stories each time I call:
The check was mailed, then when I called to advise check never received, they said they would overnight a replacement check, then I am told that there is a problem with their computer system and there are 3, 700 people waiting for escrow refund checks. I tried to call West Palm Beach, Florida office and was unable to get through. I sent overnight letter to West Palm Beach and have not yet heard back. I am tired of getting people in India. What kind of outfit is Ocwen? Once I get my refund, I will be glad to be rid of them.

you can never get answers from Ocwen. All reps are in India can't understand half of them. They only say to you what they are told to say and don't know a thing about your account. I do not like the way Ocwen handles their customer's concerns at all. I didn't choose them my loan was transferred to them.

Ocwen worst company

Worst Company. I have been dealing with them for over 8 years. 5 attempts at modification.. Finally went to mediation, got a great modification. We thought. HAMP. Sent all the loan paperwork in, only to find out that Ocwen is saying there was a dispute over an interest rate, I had this loan for over 2 years now.. the percent rate is 2%... Really, who the heck is disputing that? It is all over the paperwork they sent and we signed. Mind you! They are denying the modification ever happened. I have the signed paperwork to prove it.. Filed Chapter 13 to try to save my home. Heading to court tomorrow. Cant until the judge sees the loan paperwork to the modification that doesn't exist. It is kind of funny that I haven't heard from my attorney after I sent it to him. They do nothing to help the homeowner, only their investors. They rather sell the house for less money than work with you. All I have to say is fight, keep every piece of paperwork you receive from them.. I have 5 large files full. Remember, It is only a house. You are irreplaceable.. Don't loose yourself over it.. File bankruptcy if you have to and in a few years, you will be approved for another one. Personally, I will rent.

I agree with you. You a rare individual that can fight the good fight. However, most people don't have the time or tenacity to fight to save their home. The banks and mortgage servicers have become extremely aggressive with foreclosure actions. The foreclosure process is moving 100 times quicker than it did a year ago. If you do not have a solid defensive strategy & absolutely know the next best move to make, you are a sitting duck for foreclosure. Most people will need to hire aggressive help or they are headed for disaster. Anyone can call my office for free expert advice at 877.297.7011.

We have been with Ocwen for several years and did not have any complaints un till last year then it is just one thing after another!
Last year they paid some one else's home taxes that I did not catch until the end of the year because I always paid more than our payments, they sent a letter in Sept wanting over $700, when I called it was for taxes that they paid! Finally after so many heated conversation and threaten law suits we got it worked out. Then come Feb of this year when I called in to make a payment they said I paid 2 in Dec ! Not, every time I called to make a payment they said I didn't owe one until April-then you guessed It, they wanted two payments. Got that fixed. Now I paid a payment this month on the due date, kept getting calls, as of today they say they still don't have it! Am really at the end with them! Should be a law

Ocwen controlling home owner options

Ocwen is not a mortgage company they are loan servicing /collection company. Mortgage companies in bankruptcy sold loans to Ocwen.
I have always paid my property taxes myself not bundled with mortgage payment and insurance all together that Ocwen tries to force the home owner to do.. November 20, 2013 Ocwen hurried and paid my property taxes when I pay taxes separately. Ocwen has added my owing property taxes to then added with my mortgage payment plus all their extra fees added to that. They started trying to bundle mortgage payments with taxes and home owners insurance without home owners consent. Now my account is completely disorganized.

Ocwen auto-pay discontinued w/o permission

Our local bank sold our mortgage to Ocwen Loan Servicing. To date things had been going fine but today everything went to hell!
I opted for auto-pay where my mortgage payments are automatically with drawn from my bank account each month. Today I received a letter from Ocwen advising me that I am two month behind in my mortgage payments! How can this be if I'm on auto-pay? I called the customer care # which of course was in India! What a surprise! The guy had no clue what was going on with my account & could not answer any of my questions. I asked to speak to a supervisor & was told I would have to be put on a list to be called back by the supervisor within 24 hours. That was unacceptable! I asked to speak to someone in the USA & was on hold for 20 min. until I finally hung up. I then tried locating Ocwen's Loan Servicing number in the US by searching the web. I called several #'s & no one was of any help. All I was told that the company employs over 10, 000 employees & they could not help me.
Customer Care is our first priority Ocwen's customer service number repeatedly tells you on their holding message. WHAT A JOKE THAT IS! Ocwen sucks!
Don't mess around with my account & stop my auto-pay then send me late notices! You also may want to employ some out-of-work American's instead of out sourcing to India! What is this country coming to! Are you a USA based company or not?
I need a new mortgage company!

This is a LLC company based in southeast asia. They have taken over a LOT of loan servicing. They make many mistakes, including adding additional "subscriptions" to publications, charging for late payments years past they allegedly were late or forgiven, and have an annoying complaint process. Shame on your bank (and my mortgage -- GMAC/Homecomings for ever selling loans or the servicing function to OCWEN.)

Ocwen false credit reporting

Our mortgage was sold to ocwen from homeward residential. In november they changed the online banking to reflect a bank that doesn't exist in nh. When called they said everything was all set.In december they sent 60 days past due to the credit reporting agencies. We are never overdue on our mortgages. We have three mortgages and this is the only one we are having trouble with. I called them several times and asked to speak to a supervisor and was put on hold for 45 minutes and no one came to the phone. I received confirmation emails for the payments yet they say they didn't receive them. I cannot get anywhere to change my credit report and it is effecting our credit in a negative way. This is unacceptable as I have always prided myself in paying on time and having good credit. They have now ruined that and will not fix it. I have disputed with the credit bureaus and reported them to the bbb.

Ocwen fees

I have lived in my home for over 15 years my loan was purchased by Ocwen approx. 2 years ago. I have been astonished at the anguish I have with this company. I will be the first to admit that after being employed with a company for almost 20 years and the company folded I was unemployed for sporadic periods of time and I did fall behind. However, I always sent them money within that month (albeit sometimes late, but they received it) along with any additional late fee incurred. Since I fell behind, all of a sudden I began seeing Property Inspection Fees (not one but 3 and 4 with same DATE associated with it). The property inspection fees were around the range of $10 each fee, I paid all of them but now they are saying I still owe over $300 in inspection fees alone, because the money that I sent to them they allocated it where they deemed necessary and did not apply it to the fees, they did not place it for the mortgage because that was paid. They have stated they did not know what to do with the money because I was paying the additional through online banking (so I could keep track of what was going on) and as mentioning online banking I always pay through my online banking (found that to be a bad idea) because each wire they receive from the bank (even if it is in its full mortgage amount) they put it into a suspense account. They have tried to convince me time and time again to pay directly to them over the phone. As I have said to them "why would I give you a additional $20 convenience fee when I can pay through my banking and it is free knowing you will receive it by wire the following day?" I am completely caught up on my mortgage, however I received a outlandish escrow shortage amount way over $1000 that I will have to pay or my mortgage will jump by $300 per month, along with a additional $300 property inspection fee. Last year they did my mortgage statement incorrectly after I filed my taxes using the incorrect data, they sent me the new information a week before the tax deadline was up. Each time I send a payment, it takes 3 to 4 weeks before they send me a confirmation email stating they received the payment. I am so FED up with this company, I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau to find that they have a F rating. The BBB has attempted to contact them with no success. I just want to know how can I get from under them, because of the way they are applying my payments it is making it difficult for another to acquire my loan because of all the discrepancies. And yes, the previous post are correct, I have YET to speak to someone who speaks good English or who is really truly willing to assist with this because all they say is "I don't know and I will get back to you" they don't call you at all until you are one day over your grace period and don't dare ask for a supervisor - it seems like they add another misc. fee just for asking for someone else.

Dear Justice4ALL1,

Thank you for your input as I always welcome feedback to educate then enable the client to make an appropriate decision. Just to clarify, the short sales I assisted in were at the request of the client and not as a result of a failed modification but thank you for allowing me to clarify that here today and by the way, none were with Ocwen so my track record is still clean. Furthermore, I was not offering a modification just touting that our service offering as well as our industry knowledge is vast but understand that was maybe lost on you.

With regards to your feedback on FDIC, we thank you for your feedback as we do already utilize the FDIC as muscle as well as the AG, CFPB, HUD, Etc. and we list those resources on our website for FREE to assist the homeowner in getting the desired results but realize that some homeowners need some extra consulting in reaching the desired solutions as the process can be relentless and unforgiving for most (the environment is created by the lender/servicer).

Please keep up the great work Justice4ALL1 but for those that actually need help, please feel free to contact me with no obligation at :

Telling someone that you assisted in Short Sales is NOT a way to earn there trust !
Sadly, that means Ocwen WON that Round !
I personally would contact & file complaints with the FDIC ( which you can file your complaint on line ) . Ocwen HAS to respond to the Federal Agency .
You don't need a Modification, NO disrespect Miss Dana .
Clearly the FDIC will review her account and decide if she is stating to be correct then
They will FIX it & trust me they DON'T want the FDIC Up in there accounts .
They can fine them HUGH amounts of money for violating your Civil Rights, which they are by practicing Deceptive Collecting .
Best Wishes ! If you would like the FDIC number I have that readily available .

Hello nialus22 and all others frustrated with Ocwen,

I absolutely feel your pain after dealing with Ocwen on a professional level (my staff was professional at least) for the past thirteen (13) months. Everything you are stating is absolutely valid coupled with the fact that Ocwen does not do their job unless you call them to tell them to do it (I've experience this first hand) and escalate every call to an escalation supervisor; but even that doesn't do the trick sometimes. I have had to put a lot of muscle into complaints and escalations for all of my many clients at Ocwen just to get documents processed and escrow discrepancies/loan modifications/forbearances/recapitalizations/settlements granted. I have had much success in battling Ocwen but it is a fight that requires much time and knowledge...it IS a game after all so the one with the best strategy wins and WE have the best strategy!

Please call me to discuss your frustrations and your desired results. We call Ocwen at NO CHARGE TO YOU simply to uncover the current status of your loan along with the options that exist to you as a borrower and to determine if we can help you achieve those desired results. I have been extremely successful in challenging Ocwen with regards to laws and regulations since they are unwilling to cooperate unless they are reported and/or challenged. We also list all of the regulatory agencies and major Investors on our website so please feel free to obtain that information on our site as well to further the cause. Once the loan is sold to Ocwen, they must comply with the FDCPA laws as well as RESPA laws because they are considered debt collectors now with tighter regulations that they constantly violate.

If you'd like to chat more about your situation please contact me via email (Dana at ConsultingEND dot com) or via our website (ConsultingEND dot com) with absolutely no cost to you to discuss your situation. In the past 13 months I have personally helped to modify 50 loans, settle 12 mortgages, and completed 6 short sales so I look forward to hearing from you. I can tell you that it took many letters to many agencies and constant beatings to get results from Ocwen but it is possible so please don't give up...

Good luck!

Ocwen ocwen lied and sold a home

I have a client that I was helping them do a modification, I have been working with Ocwen since Nov. 2013. My client qualifies for a modification do to Obama's rules and the banks rules per their own month. Last week they asked us for bank statements and a quit claim deed from my clients ex wife and we got it for them. After they received it they call us on Monday for our appointment @ 10am and said that the sale date was put on hold and we should have an answer on the modification soon. Mr.Srinivas told my partner to call back in 2 hours and the hold should have been put into place. Chris, called back I, Tahmra Reid, called Ocwen at 6pm on 1/6/2014 and Sunny told me that the sale date was put on Hold and that he personally sent it over to Western progressive to the foreclosure coordinator email. Then I called this morning 1/7/2014 @ 8am and Ocwen again let me know that it was post pond. But when I called Western Progressive they told me know that they had orders to move forward with the sale. I then called back Ocwen and spoke with a supervisor Har[censored] and he told me that he will do everything he could to help me and get this sale date stopped. He said that he would call me by the end of the day and I told him that the sale was in 2 and 1/2 hours and we couldn't wait until the end of the day. The worst part is we were doing a short sale on this property and they told us that he qualifies for a modification that is the only reason that we tried to do it. They need to start being honest with people. If the banks would be honest with us when we are trying to do a modification and tell us that clients don't qualify then we could do something different instead. All of these conversations have been recorded and I have given all dates so it isn't very hard to go an listen to the reps lies. Please help us fix this so other clients don't go through it.

We short-sold our house in lake mary in march of 2012. The primary load holder for our house was originally litten loans who then was purchased by ocwen a few month before the short sale was approved. My credit report still shows the mortgage and is destroying my credit. Im not sure who I should contact, the credit agencies or ocwen. It is also very hard...

Ocwen about mortgage payment

I borrowed money through homecoming for refinanced. My mortgage payment sent by gmac after several years.
I missed one payment then gmac tried foreclosure my house. When I filed bankruptcy chapter 7. All payments stopped.
And I tried to have loan modification. It was very difficult to have loan modification. It took two years for me to submit loan modification and denied. I hired an broker to do it so I finally had loan modification with gmac about 1 and half years ago.
Few months ago I started to get a payments from owcen and now they are no longer send me a billing statement. So I called office to find out then they said it is illegal for them to send me statements because of discharge the bankruptcy. I made all the payments on time until last month which is september 2013. Today I went to county, I don't see any name under gmeaac in recourd.
It's only under homecoming. Now I am so confused. When I called owcen again they said if I don't make a payment online then they will foreclosure my house in 90 days.

Ocwen bad business practices

Oh my... It all begins when ocwen took over my home equity loan from gmac. I have never been so harassed so much before. As I am close to the end of this horrific relationship with ocwen, I submitted a payment in august 2013 which any additional funds would be applied to the principal according to their own policy. Well... They rejected the entire payment and now I owe for 2 months with my september payment past due. When I checked my account on their website about a week ago, it said it was closed and I owed $0. They don't know what they are doing. Now I am being forced to pay $30 for a formal "payoff" amount and was charged late fees. Stay away from ocwen at all costs! Their attention to the customer comes last, especially after making money!

Ocwen payments not received, escrow increase

When my mortgage initially went to ocwen they stated I was behind two months, not true.. My monthly payments increased and modification wad stalled 1plus years while continuously stating they didn't receive documents, need new & updated ones, etc... After I informed them of my attorney the modification went thru after 1plus year.. Now they have began I creased escrow @ $50.00 month.. I have had lots & lots of trouble with these people (India) and its mentally, financially & emotionally taken a toll on me.. My latest problem is they supposedly haven't received my payment which was made 17days in advance. This company will con you by any means to get money and its sad we have to deal with it.

I was doing a modification with Ocwen two(formerly GMAC) and after 6 months of re-sending documents They finnally accepted everything and sent it to the underwriter for review and at the same time the modification was sent to the original OCWEN and now they have lost several of the documents. It is causing so much stress in my life. GMAC understood why I was trying so hard to get this modification so that I could save this house so my Daughter-in-law and grandchildren wouldn't lose there home. stressed in washington

Ocwen losing my mortgage payment

Ocwen bought my mortgage from gmac. I have never missed a house payment, submitting it electronically every month. Then this month I submit my payment and the bank shows it was returned. I call and am told by ocwen that my loan has been switched over to the new system and there is a new loan number. I use that loan number and the payment is debited from my account. One week later I get a letter from ocwen stating they have not received my loan payment. I called and explain the situation and am told that the account I was given is not my loan number and i'm given another account. Meanwhile, no one knows where the money taken from my bank account went to and they will research it, but no one gets back to me. I wait one week and decide that i'll just make the missing payment by phone with ocwen and stop payment on the "missing" loan payment. That's good for one week and then I get a statement showing a late fee. Now I have to call and clear that up. Problem solved... Not quite. By now it is the end of the next month and the new payment received, i'm using paper check now, is not received 12 days after it was sent in and now I see they add a return check fee for the previous month when they lost my payment and I had to pay by phone. So another phone call and now I have to wait for a different department to decide if they will refund me that fee. Meanwhile I get at least 3-4 letters and statements per day from ocwen and each one says something different. I have had it. I have never dealt with such an incompetent mortgage company where the "right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing" and I don't mean to sound racist, because i'm not but it is so... Difficult to understanding what some of these phone operators are saying with their heavy accents.

Ocwen raising my mortgage

I pay every year my taxes, by all means, and ocwen never pay my taxes, this year they decided to pay the taxes without my consent and then decided to charge me $500.00 for escrow I called the irs office and they replied that ocwen pay my taxes after I paid my taxes making this an overpayment, I called back ocwen informing that now to get the overpayment of property taxes I have to wait 8 more weeks, finally I got the money to pay them and now the are charging me more to my mortgage when actually is their fault.

Ocwen mortgage fraud

We are at our wits end with trying to rectify our Ocwen account for over 1 year and 3 months while never missing a payment. They have claimed we owe past escrow money, which then was changed to hazard insurance for our home in Texas and the hazard insurance was listed as if our home were in the state of Florida. The amount has been anywhere from $12, 000 down to $7, 000, to $1500 and back up to $8000. However, I will not pay them one red cent because I do not owe them anything and have kept my contractual agreement that we originally signed with Home Eq who later was bought by Ocwen. They will never give us an accounting, will rarely return calls, keep putting us off for 20 days at a time to "review" the case all the while charging us late fees, fees for their certified mail. My wife is recovering from breast cancer, we have kids in college, and this is causing such undue stress to a family who is paying their bills. I cannot imagine what they are getting away with if they encounter people who cannot sift through all the numbers and confusion that they throw at you. We cannot seem to find a solution to force them to show an accounting. I have sent documents several times now at the advice of legal council, with no answer.

This company Ocwen is the biggest fkuped credit company ever. They are in the Phillipines, China, Mexico, South America and India these are the ones I know of so far could be more. They disconnect you act like they know it all when they have no clue what so ever and just by the way they talk to you is violating your civil rights! They don't care. I can see why there are so many lawsuits against them and the banks and companies that turn over accounts or sale them to these Crooks are just as slimy and dirty as Ocwen if not more. Ocwen can't get a straight answer

Our loan was sold to ocwen and was transferred on 3/12/2013. We were in the middle of a loan modification with homeward bound and were told ocwen would complete the process with us. Last week, 3/24/2013, we were told that ocwen sold our house and we had 30 days to get out by a man who came to our house representing ocwen. We did not receive a 30 day notice of intent to sale, nor was the property ever listed for public auction or sale. The county in which we live has no record of our property being sold or foreclosed on. Then we received a letter saying that we still qualify for a modification but when I tried to fill out the paper work again they said I cannot because the house is reo.

Ocwen I got out from under ocwen's thumb

I went through a year of torture with Ocwen Mortgage.
I was so disgruntled that I tried to refinance with 4 different companies.
Each of them said they could not complete the task because Ocwen wouldn't cooperate.
I finally found a guy that figured out how to deal with them and not only did he get me financing elsewhere.
(with an american company with american employees!) but he saved me 500 dollars a month on my mortgage.
and another 2000.00 a year on my homeowners insurance.
It doesn't matter where in the country you are located. He can Fedex overnight the closing package to you.
I'm sure you can imagine how ecstatic I am to be free of Ocwen at last!

Ocwen inability to provide good customer service, and answers to questions

The company is located in the united states, however, they use a call center in india.
The initial reason for my calls and inquiry, was a really a simple one. How can I get my interest rate dropped from 7.5% to current interest rates. I began by explaining my situation. My history, credit history and history with refinancing the property. I wanted to know if there was a program or another way to get refinanced given my situation. Here is the situation. I am currently a self employed professional, with a good income, good credit score, and not delinquent on this mortgage. This property is a condo, and is a rental for the last three years, after buying a house. The property is rented. The problem is it is in a hoa of 158 condos. 22% of the owners of these condos are in arrears on their monthly assessments. Each year the hoa dues increase to be able to cover costs of expenses water, garbage, landscaping etc. My dues have gone up to the point where the rent doesn't cover the cost of the mortgage and the dues. I am losing $400/mo on this property. In 2 years I hope to retire. When I do, I will need to have lower monthly expenses. In the past 3 years ocwen suggested I refinance, and sent me to their preferred lenders. I went through the process twice, spending over $2000 for fees, just to find out at the last minute, that the property didn't qualify for refinancing because the hoa is in arrears by more than 15%.
When I contacted ocwen - at least 6 months ago. I explained all of this. Making it very clear, I am looking to lower the interest rate, so I won't be in the hole for the hoa dues every month. I was clear that I am not delinquent in payments, and that this is a rental property. I explained I tried to refinance already. I was simply asking, is there a way that ocwen can lower the rate, given all the circumstances. It took many calls, complaint to the omsbudsman, to receive a letter that I was referred to a relationship manager. I thought, great - i'm up to the next level, someone here will be able to answer my questions. I spoke to customer service reps, who weren't any difference than the original level of reps. I made appointment to speak to the relationship manager after having a 45 min conversation before finding out the customer rep I was speaking to, was not the relationship manager level I was given the number to call. That appointment wasn't kept - instead I was given to another regular service rep, because the relationship rep was too busy to keep the appointment. After asking my questions and explaining the situation yet again, I still didn't get helped. I asked to speak to a supervisor. Atlast! I thought I was getting somewhere. I explained everything very clearly about my situation. When told I had to apply for a modification - I explained the circumstances (This is a rental, I am not delinquent, I have a good income, and good credit, and currently can afford the payments, I am concerned about retirement, and need to lower the interest rate. What is available? And if there is a program available do I qualify given these circumstances). The supervisor said I didn't qualify for one modification program, but I did for another. He told me how to fill out the forms, including the sections to leave out. I was in tears by the end of the conversation, because I thought I had finally gotten somewhere, and I couldn't believe I had to get to the point of anger and frustration to get this information. I did exactly what he said. I spent an entire day filling out forms, and getting the information to fax to him - directly. And he made another appointment with a relationship manager for the following weekend. This time that same rm did keep the appointment. I had to explain everything again, after she told me I didn't qualify for the program the supervisor told me I didn't qualify for. Now I am back to the beginning! During that week, I also received two letters, one saying I didn't qualify, the second asking for more information to be faxed in asap. Contradictory information and requests. Both in letter form, and between supervisor and customer and relationship managers. She told me that ocwen doesn't lower interest rates without modifications, and that I needed to refinance. This after I explained again why I wasn't able to refinance in the past with the very companies ocwen referred me to. She gave me the name of two more companies - one was reliance - which was the first one I attempted to get a refinance with three years ago. With lots of insisting, she made another appointment to speak with me in a week, after the underwriters reviewed the complete file (Excuse me I thought you said I don't qualify for a modification?) but ok, she says she understands what I am asking, and will find out about this.In the mean time I contact both mortgage companies. In less than 15 minutes of conversation with brokers, I am told by both of them that I do not qualify for refinancing for the reasons I have been told in the past. They were able to check credit scores, value of property, loan to value, etc. Everything they needed to know before I filled out paperwork, and paid fees - - all within one conversation. And were able to tell me, that no I would not qualify for a loan modification under the current program rules. And here is the great news - or so I thought - the companies that ocwen referred said they knew for a fact that ocwen does lower interest rates when people weren't able to get refinanced by the companies that they refer them to. One of the reps said, be very persistent - it will be very hard to get to the right people, but he knew for sure that they lowered the interest rate to 2% for people he originally worked with. Before I talked to the ocwen relationship manger again, I contacted bank of america which has the mortgage on my house, asking for the same information, refinance for my condo, as well as the house, and modification, and was told exactly the same thing about not qualifying for refinance, or modification on the condo. Again all this information was gathered while I was on the phone for the first time by these brokers. All three are located in the united states, all three speak and understand "american" english very well, and knew immediately what it was I was asking, why I was having difficulty getting what I needed, and knew how to get the answer while I was on the phone, answering their questions and waiting while they checked websites for qualifying information. No more than a total of 45 mins. Combined - three conversations three lenders. Done in one morning before work. Now I am not looking forward to my conversation - yet again - with the ocwen relationship manager. This conversation was more than 1.5 hours long. Began with the relationship manager, telling me what she already told me the weekend before, and insisting they don't drop interest rates without modification, and I don't qualify for that. I insisted on speaking to a supervisor. And that supervisor - turns out to be the same supervisor who spoke to me the last time! The very one who said I qualified for a modification given the same information he now tells me disqualifies me for a modification! We went around and around on the issue of ocwen being able to lower the interest rate anyway - - and of course he insists that they can't and don't. And won't. Oh did I mention that one of the lenders ocwen referred me to - according to the web, was a lender that was purchased by ocwen after it had gone into bankruptcy. This supervisor kept insisting that these lenders - especially this one, has nothing to do with ocwen, and does not know its policies, and therefore gave me the wrong information. I agreed that this supervisor was probably not aware of all the companies that ocwen does own, and therefore wasn't aware of all that ocwen does and doesn't do. And that there must be other departments and supervisors and managers to speak to. Of course he didn't have anything of that information. No phone numbers of anyone in the united states, no home office information etc. And at the very end of the conversation when I mentioned that there must be someone I can make a complaint to - - he told me the ombudsman. The same ombudsman info I made an original complaint to that brought me to a relationship manager in the first place. So here I am. I totally get that this is just a call center contracted by ocwen, who may or may not have ownership by ocwens investor group. I understand that my loan is actually owned by novastar (That took months to find out) , which is an investment group, that has either contracted with ocwen to service the loan, or possibly has investments and therefore some ownership ocwen as well, i'm still trying to find that out.In the end the ocwen supervisor thought the issue was my frustration about not getting my interest rate lowered. I had to repeat over and over again - no, it's about the poor service, the time lost and the frustration of trying to work with the, get answer to questions, and still not being understood or helped without all this time and effort and pain. I am too invested in this at this point for it to be about getting the interest lowered. Now it is about getting this complaint heard, by anyone customer, broker, loan companies, investors, and government regulatory boards. It is incredible to me, that ocwen could have this many complaints against them - for this long, and they haven't been shut down by now. As a person who has investment accounts, I hope investors considering buying stock in this company - - look very carefully at it's customer server performance, and not just how its profit increase is due to a call center in india, which uses up time of employees - no matter how cheaply paid - and time and energy of customers in such an inefficient and frustrating way. This just can't possible be cost efficient in the long run - to anyone. Least of all an investor whose us company contracts with or owns this call center in india. Thanks for reading this. I hope it helps someone, and ultimately prevents people from the frustration and pain of working with ocwen.

Ocwen illegal foreclosure

Why is there no help for Ocwen customers? I'm reading all of the complaints and realizing that they are continuing to do to people what they did to me 5 years ago. They are foreclosing on homes illegally. They took over my mortgage and then forced me out of my home by giving me a payment amount then changing it after several months saying that I now owed the back amount on the new amount they decided on... I of course couldn't come up with it all at once and they had me evicted. How does this continue to happen? We need help as well.
