I have been trying to get Ocwen to modify my mortgage which is at 10.65% interest. Every time I call I get the run around. One day out of conversation I asked where the person was located. He and all others I've spoken to since have answered... 'India'. What is this country doing to the AMERICAN people? I get calls all the time because I'm 1 day past my...

Ocwen it's just unbelievable

On april 4, 2008, an agent representing ocwen bank, knocked on the front door of the property I was living and renting, in a very insisting and loud way. Since nobody opened the door, he entered the property through the side door leading to the yard and knocked on the sliding glass door located in the backyard. The door was not opened for this person that started showing documents through the glass door telling my wife and daughter the property was in foreclosure, and the bank, through him could pay an amount of $3500.00 dlls to vacate in short time. Since I was not at the property at that moment, he told them that he was going to come back at a later time the same day. He came back the same day and I explained to this person that I did not receive any notice either from the bank, the owner or the company renting the house that the property was in foreclosure and that my lease agreement was good until april 30, 2008. He then told me that I could stay until the end of my lease agreement or vacate before april 22, 2008 and receive a $3500.00 dlls compensation for early vacate. I started moving some stuff out of the house over the weekend but left some others inside the house. I was away for a couple of days and the locks for the doors to get inside of the house were changed, so I went ahead and called this agent and told me he didn’t know what was going on, and gave me the keys to the house, only to find out all of my things were not there, and that this person would not take responsibility for the things that were inside the house even though he had knowledge that my lease contract was good until april 30, 2008. He told me that I had to talk to the people who changed the locks and that he could not be held accountable for this action. When I spoke to the company who changed the locks I was told my things had been thrown to the trash by orders of the bank owning the property. Then, I spoke to a bank representative and told me the agent had a list of the things that was going to be given to the bank so the bank could pay me the cost of the things thrown to the trash. As of now, nobody has contacted me or received any retribution for the things that were on the property I was still renting, or a retribution for leaving the property early. These people are just scammers, dishonest and they basically stole my stuff. I hope the authorities would investigate this bank, since I am not the only one being affected by these people.

Ocwen they now own my home

My home was for sale for 9 months. We entered into a "short sale" agreement with ocwen. Our realtor had offers. We jumped through hoops for ocwen. We finally had to get a lawyer but they wouldn't even talk to him. All we ever talked to was foreigners from india. Today our home was sold at auction and guess who bought it for $100? They did. I pushed and pushed and finally some guy told me they "wanted" my house and it is better for them to keep it and will make money on it when the market picks up. They had no intention of selling it or looking at my offers. I am so mad at organized banks. Our realtor, lawyer and ourselves went through all the motions, met all their requirements and in the end they "just wanted my house". Where does that leave me? With a foreclosure on my record all because they wanted my house and wouldn't consider selling it. We lost $40, 000 and have ruined credit all because we trusted them to care about the customer and do what is best for the customer. Hogwash. They have made billions each year off taking peoples homes - yet they are a major supporter of a group that looks out for minorities getting homes! The average hard working american able to afford american dream is now the minority. What about us? Forget those piddle "stimulus" checks - be careful who you trust.

I agree with everyone on this comment board and I am so sorry to hear about all the trouble that you are all having. This is the reason I started my company. I have helped several people that have mortgages with ASC, Countrywide, and other mortgage companies that don't seem to care if they harass people or suck them dry. The comments I have heard are along the lines of trying to get blood from a stone or turnip, or something like that.

I have a service that actually will take you out of the loop of contact with ASC, or Countrywide or whomever you have servicing your loan. All you have to do is tell me how we can help you. By that I mean, tell us what you are looking for us to do for you and we will pursue the help that you want, no matter what. We have all aspects of the mortgage business covered from being a mortgage mediation company, a title company, a real estate company, all the way to having access to attorneys for litigation or help to avoid foreclosure. No aspect of help is turned away.

Let me tell you, most of the customers that I deal with have told me about the fear and the frustration of working with mortgage companies that don't seem to care or give them the runaround. To be totally fair, mortgage companies have their ways of dealing with people. Some are good, some are horrible. But one thing all mortgage companies love is being vague. When they are vague, they don't have to give you information until you ASK for it. How does that help you? How can you try to save your home if you don't know how to ask the right questions?

That’s another reason why I created this company. I take your number out of their "system". When they mail you something, it goes to me. I take the burden away from you so you can live your life without the phone calls and the letters. And the rudeness! Oh, man, if I told you some of the stories I have heard...let's just say, it’s not pretty.

I know that some people are going to look at this comment and go, this guy is trying to drum up business. Well, you're right. But here's the kicker. I used to work in mortgage collections. I used to make the phone calls and send the letters. I used to work around the people that make your lives hell. And I kept asking myself, why? Why are these people not being told about the help that’s readily available? Why are these people not being helped to make payment arrangements that are realistic? Why does this company care more about the money than about customer service when that is supposed to be their primary objective?

That's why I got out. I can not stand collections. Just because they are hiding behind a company name they think that they can say anything or act anyway they like with the customers, being friendly with one and the next 40-50 they can treat like crap. Where is the customer service?

I take all that frustration away from you and create solutions that work. I know that it may be hard to swallow, but I do. I have done it for several people. And I can do it for you too. If you want more specifics or just want to talk to me, call my office at [protected] and check out the website, which is being updated with a few new options available. And this isn't just for people facing foreclosure, people that are current and want to pay off their home early, call me. I can and will help as many people as I am able to. What have you got to lose? Website address is http://www.onlybusiness.com/members/RealtyMediationService...and if not for you, best of luck. In all your endeavors.

Ocwen this is the most unethical, immoral and dishonest company I have ever dealt with

I am in the process of having my home foreclosed on. I am not saying that I didn't pay my house payment late as we all have had troubles. What I am complaining about is the unethical, unfair and dishonest way OCWEN bank operates. They deliberately hold partial payments and not credit to the account. They add astronomical fees onto each monthly bill. When asked the payment due/pay off they would never give a correct amount, they charged return check fees when a check was never returned. They said my loan was in the mitigation department and to wait until they emailed me regarding a forbearance, repayment or loan moderation plan. Then, not 30 days later I was served with foreclosure payments. I have the employee on tape telling me not to send a payment and I repeated myself that I have never heard of a company not wanting a payment on something...ever. Everyone I have ever spoke to can not speak English. They never update your account when you call so it looks as if you ignored them. It is a lie. They have a $1000.00 check they never cashed. They billed my escrow account for taxes then we had to pay our own property taxes. This company is the most unethical, immoral and dishonest company I have ever dealt with. They are slowly stealing all the equity in my home and stealing my children's home. I need help and I don't know what to do. How can anyone get away with this? Who protects the hard working American's?

Ocwen mortgage is the worst company i have ever dealt with, they have done the exact same thing to my wife and along with harassing us daily by calling our home up to 20 times per day even though our mortgage payment was not even late. We even spoke to them on numerous occasions informing them the payment was not late and would be paid through their website before it was late. After many of the non-american telephone reps we spoke with told us they would stop the calls by placing a comment on our account they STILL called up to 10 times per day. I find it funny how they CLAIM to help customers yet they do nothing to help and only harass their customers and lie to them. What is probably worse is the fact that Ocwen was probably one of the companies that got aid from the government wit our tax dollars yet they employ only people from different countries not americans that bailed them out of their financial problems. If you are an ocwen customer i feel badly for you becuase you are correct they are the most unethical company i have ever seen, i own my own business and if i treated my clients they way ocwen did i would be out of business in a short time. Everyone that is an ocwen customer should file as many complaints on them as they possibly can and perhaps our wonderful government will decide to step up and do something...wait we all know that won't happen look how all of the banks and agencies our tax dollars helped are still giving huge bonuses to their employees and yet so many of us struggle just to keep our homes.

Ocwen mortgage ripoff

This is one of the top rip off mortgage companies in the USA right now. They keep agreeing to certain thing and never go thru with the agreements and lie about everything. This mortgage company needs to be fully investigated for fraud. I can’t get them to return my calls at all now, they are trying to make it so I default on my loan, by saying I have never called them, and there never was any other agreement made. This is the worse mortgage company in the history of the USA.

I couldn't have my mortgage insurance removed with Ocwen, even though I qualified for the time to simply have it removed. I have paid the mortgage on time for 5 years and the value of my property has appreciated greatly. I wound up having to re-fi with another lender which I didn't want to do since it should have just been a matter of removing it. I inpound the taxes and insurance. After the closing and after the final payout with them, there was a 2000+ balance left in the inpound escrow account. They started tacking on all of theses trumped up fees to avoid paying the whole amount back to me. They also screwed up the tax statements for 2014 by first sending me printed forms with the wrong amounts. Then sending another form with a correction after the mandatory due date and after I had already filed my taxes. I had to file a correction. When I re-fi'ed this time, I asked if a clause could be added that strictly forbids the sale of the amount from being sold to Ocwen. I would dread having to go thru any of this with them again.

Try this guy. We recently had our mortgage "refinanced" and he wasn't all that helpful, but get to him and if annoying enough - he will go to the top. Some lady is his boss but I can't remember her name.

Govenors and Congress have all allowed companies like these to operate and flourish within your individual home states. Your Govenor and congress are aware that Ocwen and similar companies are a preditory lender! Ocwen disguises a principal and interest loan by stating that the total amount financed as being quote: The principal. Many people signed these agreements without knowing they were interest bearing loans only. Example : My son in Michigan signed a 15 year P&I loan for $97, 000.00 in December 2001 - for 15 years --Interest rate 11.34% --with an $85, 000.00 Baloon payment at end of 15 years. My son agreed to pay $930.25 for 15 years believing he was paying on a principal and interest loan! Bottom line is this...He never understood the contract. He will have to re-apply for a new mortgage in 2016 for $85, 000.00 or pay $85, 000.00 cash money in December of 2016. These types of mortgages should be outlawed! For a few dollars more per month and a decent interest rate he could have had a legit 15 year mortgage and be done in 2016. No wonder this country is going down the tubes. Sad but true.

I myself have delt with Ocwen and am fully disgusted. I have gone through the "proof of insurance" bull. I have had to deal with the non-payment of house taxes. I have even gone through a few "for-bearance" agreements when I have gone through financial difficulties. The worst thing I feel they have done was when i became late by a month, and after calling them to make a payment and bring my account up to date including late fees they refused to accept my payment, and told me sorry, it's too late your in foreclosure now and will have to accept all the lawyer fees that come with foreclosure, even though they never notified me of this . I think they use unfair tactics and ignoring customer calls and drag out the communication process to thier benefit. Leaving the homeowner with little time to act, putting us in a desperate situation trying to save our homes from foreclosure at the same time they are just tacking on bullcrap fees for their profit

I was forced to take two sub-prime loans to save my family's home of 20 years following a 3 year permanently disabling work injury, wrongfully denied by Workers' Comp. Apeals Board and denied by Zurich American Ins. (found as a misdiagnosis by LAC+USC Med Center two years later.
My family (with all teens working) saved us from five foreclosures in three years.
Ocwen adreed to renegociate our loan for an agreed fee. Thiss process took approx. two months, yet Ocwen notified us (April, 2008) that our loan was being sold to GreenTree Servicing.
We've been in negociations with GreenTree for some three months, who has now proposed a 5 thousand deposit for the loan restructure, and payments for two years at $2, 200 monthly (instead of our former $3, 300.) for two years, yet this strikes me as another predatory loan, as it readjusts within two years back to the $3, 300. per month.
Simply sounds like a new predatory loan to me.
Am on fixed "premanent disability" with a working wife who nets $900. per month. Nothing is signed yet.
What do we do?

Ocwen scam and harassment!

This company has from the very beginning ripped us off. We receive fees and penalties when they are not due. We have interest charges that are so high, we could better afford a much bigger house with someone else. Our other complaints are that there is no way to even talk to anyone about our problems. Every time I call to talk to them they say I have yto send a written request to their research department. Once I do a couple weeks later I get a letter saying all is well.

The bigger kick in the pants is that shortly after I send the request I get another letter saying It is going up again!

When I pay the total amounts due one month, the next month has several more charges.

Our loan company sold out to Ocwen and now it's been nothing but trouble. We are trying to get a loan modification and get nothing but the same paperwork over and over to keep filling out even though we have sent them in numerous times. We were also told that we had a missing payment from when we were with our old company, which we did not and had to send in proof OVER and OVER. I do not want to speak to someone on India which I can't understand and they have a script they read from. They have no interest in helping. Something needs to be done!

We were never behind in our mortgage, but sent us papers to do modification because of past fees that came from Saxon Mortgage, when they transferred our mortgage to Ocwen in November of 2017. So we go ahead and do the modification, after so much problems with them sending us docs. Not receiving docs and then receiving docs with date about 2 weeks late from when I received in the mail. Well we have finished our 3 month forbearance payments. I get a statement in the mail stating the amount due is 0.00 for August 2017. Let me go back a bit. When we sent the modifications papers in the first time, I sent proof of insurance, which we have paid for our own since we bought the house. They sent me proof of insurance in May, I contacted them and faxed and emailed my declaration page for my house insurance. I get a letter on 06-05-2017 stating that the insurance has been canceled and they will refund all the premiums that have been funded for insurance. I called back in June to check the status on escrow, because our mortgage should be minus the insurance. Only principle, Interest, and taxes. Well I placed a call on Thurs and the automated stated we owe $700 and some odd dollars for April in 2017, which is due in August 2017. Spoke to rep and needed to find out about our payment for Aug. Transferred the call and got disconnected twice. Got frustrated and just did not call back. It is so frustrating talking to this company. Then I can not understand because their English is not well spoken. Well, I call today and basically per the Rep they want me to still pay the payment, and per modification they have to pay for myinsurance, which I read to her and said that my Modification does not say that, In fact on Line 5 states that I send in proof of house insurance with my modification papers. So they want me to pay my own insurance and theirs. I told her I will not do that. My insurance is cheaper and larger pay out, I have a better rate because we have auto and business insurance with this company. I told her I will not pay until I see something in writing. Now she says to give them 5 days to review my account. Every time I call this company, they tell me a different story about my account, no one has ever said the same thing. It is like they do not even have computers there with notes of every call that comes in. I think this company is a FRAUD. Just to note that I am a Realtor and I have never dealt with such an unprofessionalmortgage company before.

I am in the same boat as most of you. My loan got transferred from Taylor Bean to Cenlar then Ocwen. They are charging more money which was refunded by Cenlar. Not paying home insurance that was escrowed. Please file complain at FTC http://www.mortgagesfinancingandcredit.org/mortgages/complaints-regulatory/ftc7.htm. I wish if someone with legal knowledge could lead us and we could take them to court.

I agree with you all. I had Ocwen also and I had someone renting my house that Ocwen had the mortgage to. However, this person could not longer pay me and left. I could no longer pay for the mortgage I tried several attempts just to give the property back but they would not do this. They forclosed on it and bought it back...which I think is crazy...not so great neighborhood and house needs work. However, now my old neighbor is calling me as Ocwen is not caring for the house and the grass is 3 ft high.

I personally would like to start a class action lawsuit against OCWEN, Freddie Mac, HAMP and everyone else involved in this fiasco. We were SOLICITED for this modification. Our payment went down $15, is 41% of our income, and they are doing their best to foreclose but we'll go down in flames first. I second all the statements above, then some. I have been writing senators, congressmen, states' attorneys. No one could/would help us and I know they are aware of what is going on. Our own government did this to us. I was called by HAMP and was told that our social security income is considered NET income so freddie mac allowed them to RAMP UP our income 125%. Our retirement income is not net, it is gross. This net income catagory allowed OCWEN to create $1400 a month of income we DO NOT RECEIVE IN ANY FORM. Of course, this is not stated in the rules, however, the rules do state the payment is supposed to work out to 31% of your income. Tomorrow, the lawyer. They think we are as stupid as the people they have answering the phones in West Palm Beach. Keep looking on the internet. You will find testimony from former employees that will tell you they are TRAINED not to return calls anad email, to lose the paperwork, ask for paperwork over and over, deny the HAMP, add late fees until they exceed your normal payment, then foreclose. They earn more money taking kickbacks and gifts from the brokers.

Ocwen do not sign addendum a!

I attempted to purchase a home under foreclosure. The seller was ocwen. They breached the contract so I contacted an attorney to see what claim (S) I had against ocwen. He said the contract is unenforceable due to addendum a section (I). By agreeing to this addendum I have no rights. I'm sol. Have an attorney review this document regardless of what anyone says. Money well spent. I wish I did before signing. I will have an attorney review all documents for my next offer to purchase.

We called asking for a payoff quote. We had never missed a payment with them and saved money to pay them off. We sent the amount they gave us through our bank acount, but they then sent us a bill for $6.82. We paid that through the bank. I received a call afterwards demanding payment even though I had paid the balance due. We called back to see why we were charged $6.82 and they said, we didn't send the correct amount; even though I was looking at the amount she gave me when I scheduled payment through the bank. They said they would not accept a payment through our bank with bill pay; said it would have to be wired. (Bank said the only difference was that wiring would be a little quicker.) We were told we could not get a payoff quote over the phone; even though I had already gotten one quote. They said they could email the payoff amount and instructions for paying it off. We waited several days; didn't come. Called back and they said it was because of the Thanksgiving holidays. They would mail the quote; waited another week; still didn't get it. Called; talked with Teresa (706710) She assured me the payoff amount was $77.03. She said to wire it the next morning and she could assure me that I would received a paid in full confirmation. My husband got up out of bed, even though he was .and went to the bank and wired that amount the next morning. After returning from the bank and stopping for the mail we opened the payment payoff information and it had a different amount. We received it on the 8th of Dec. and were told it was only good until Dec. 7. Duh! I callled the company immediately; robo call said my balance was $80.88. Talked to another person; put on hold; she said the payoff was $80.93. She couldn't tell me why it had changed from $77.03 at 4:00 yesterday to 80.93. today. She couldn't explain why the payoff letter was received after the deadline date for paying. The last lady I did talk to did some research and found that my payoff amount had been recorded wrong because it was sent in EARLY which resulted in me owing the additional amount. Whose fault was that? I paid $35.00 for the wire and was told I would have to send another one because of the different in the amount from 4:00 pm until the next day when the bank opened. We finally went to Wal Mart and sent a money order for more than the amount quoted to be sure we weren't charged more for another day. We're sending a form tomorrow to request that our account be closed with no further. Poor customer service every time we called this company; people from India or somewhere that I couldn't understand. I finally asked for an American on the last few calls. We didn't ask to deal with this company in the first place; ou raccount was placed with them from di tech because of difficulties they were having I assume; and believe me we never will in the future. I advise others. Stay away from this company. We've been lied to put on hold for over 30 mins, never getting returning call back. I've been harrassed over something we really didn't owe due to their mistakes; dealt with incompetent people and about went crazy. I feel something should be done about this company after reading all the complaints online. Also these jobs should come back to America!

How can you get a clean title for a home bought by OCWEN? Looking at M in Addendum A, it says they will "transfer the title by means of a special or limited warranty deed". How can you get full title insurance if you can't get an actula clean title?

ALL banks are major corporations that have created documentation to benefit them. If you don't sign the bank addendum, you don't purchase a foreclosure. I work with 19 different banks and they all have their addendums. I've only had one breach on the seller's part and it was due to a bank being absorbed by a specific date and the buyer hadn't closed by that date. Because the company name was changing, they had to retract the offer. If the buyer had closed ontime, they would have been closed and not facing this issue. If your issues was the seller's issue, your money would be refunded to you (except for inspections). If it was the buyer's fault, the seller may keep the buyer's earnest money deposit. The same is true with a traditional seller (with the exception of the addendum created by the high-powered attorneys).

Your attorney can say all and do all he wants, the bottom line is that OCWEN will not get under contract with a buyer if the addendum is not sign. Good luck buying a house without signing the addendum, your choices will be few and far appart.

June 2005 I was self employed so initially got my mortgage loan with Freemont Investments as a non docs loan, even though I put down 50% I was given a loan at 8.75% they sold it 6 month later to Ocwen in Dec 05. During this 3 years I never paid late and even tried to lower the principal by sending more than I was required. Sometime during 2006 they sent...

Ocwen scam and fraud!

I have had dealings with mortgage lenders in the past but dealing with ocwen is horrible. When I purchased my home in 2006, my loan was sold off to ocwen after a few months. About two months later the problems with ocwen started. They claimed that they did not have documentation showing that I had homeowners insurance. I called them immediately. The person I spoke to had trouble understanding and spoke broken english. I explained to them that I do have insurance and I will fax them a copy. After faxing it 3 times and sending a copy by certified mail, they finally received it. I spent at least 3 hours on the phone over a 3 week period trying to get them a copy of my insurance information.

In early 2007 the drama continued. Taxes were due and I thought by having an impound account I would not have to worry about my taxes getting paid. Well, with ocwen it appears you have to worry about everything and you are never at ease as long as you do business with them. I forwarded several tax bills that were due because they claimed they did not receive the bills (By the way, the tax department is a not part of ocwen, at least that's what they claim) after faxing the bills in february and sending the bills by mail they were not paid and late fees on my property taxes began to accumulate. I spent at least a total of 4 hours talking to ocwen, faxing ocwen, mailing ocwen, in an effort to get these taxes paid. They finally paid the tax bills in april. They took late fees out of my impound account and never reimbursed me after they told that they are responsible for the late fees.

Now we are in 2008 and taxes are due again. As soon as the bills came I sent them certified mail. I tried to fax the bills also but after several attempts to fax from home and several attempts to fax from office depot the line was always busy so I gave up. At this point I dreaded the worst, my taxes probably have not been paid and I will have to go through the same process as last year.

Currently I am receiving two calls a day from ocwen regarding my mortgage payment which has never been late. I recently called to ask them to put me on their do not call list because they have no reason to call me my account is current and I am never late, the csr said she would remove me, but the calls have not stopped.

I would like desperately to get out of this loan with ocwen, it has been very stressful and time consuming dealing with such a inept company. After reading all these stories I am concerned about my well being.

I have had same issues with Owcen. Every month I received 2 to 3 calls from Owen saying that I am behind on my monthly load payment. I have had made my monthly loan payment on time. They have missed applied my loan payment into another and that is what the customer service told me. I am having same issues on my property tax; year after year, they send the property tax payment late. This issue is an ongoing issue with Owcen, missed monthly payment, not payment property tax no time and as well homeowner's insurance payment late every year. On other hand, the relationship manager always offers to finance the late monthly payment, I have told her no, I am not behind on my month payment and why are you asking me to finance the monthly payment that does not make any sense that you asking to finance the monthly payment. This is insane. Someone really need to stop Owcen with his or her business practice. I have dealing with this for 11 years.

GOOD NEWS TO CALIFORNIA OCWEN mortgage holders: I have posted here before, with the same complaints we all share. I contacted a HUD organization called KeepYourHomeCalifornia -- and they have done in one week, what took OCWEN a year to do. Accept my RMA/app for modification. KYHC has been attentive and on top of my application. They aren't messing around and WILL help you if you qualify (answer some basic questions re your balance owed, etc.). I hope this message is read by at least one person who can benefit from the ongoing OCWEN debacle. No one is more upset about their pathetic management, direction and overall business model. It's a recipe for disaster and major class action lawsuits.

Feel free to email me if you'd like information on how to get included in the OCWEN class action lawsuits, they are literal thousands of them. You deserve to be compensated for time wasted/spent and fees charged which were illegal (a huge lawsuit I'm involved with is for Forced Placed Insurance). But there are SO MANY others! You can get compensated, but you HAVE TO BE DILIGENT about filing them!

OCWIN is very nearly the worst company I have ever dealt with (Comcast is still #1). They have been looking for excuses to hit me with credit insurance since I got the mortgage. Every year they "do not receive" notice from my insuarnce company that my policy has been renewed and the dance begins. They send me threatening letters. I call and verify that I am still insured; You have to call and wait for them to call your agent to verify. If you fax them information, they don't take e-mails, they never receive it and send you more threatening letters. Then, once they finally verify that my insurance has been paid they move on to the condo policy. I need to get them the contact information for the insuarnce company that holds the master policy for my condo complex. It usually takes several calls and more threating letters to get it verified that that policy has not changed and is also up to date. Then it is back to my homeowners policy. They think my $1000 deductable is too high so they are going to buy their insuarance, with my money, to cover them again. I change it to a $500 deductable and now they don't like the address on my policy. The version my insuarnce company sent does not list the unit number so they are going to sell me their insurance again. Then it is back to the condo master policy again. Unless you want to spend all your time messing around with their english-as-a-second-language 'customer service' people try try try to avoid this company. They are scam artists.

Ocwen is everything and more than the things mentioned on this complaint board! My wife and I original had our loan with American mtg servs ( self employed at the time ) then they sold it to First horizon, then finally Ocwen, When we first started having problems with our monthly payments they raised our interest rates so high we just could not keep up, over the Corse of 4 years our payment went from around $2500 month to $3900 month not to mention that our homeowners insurance was "supposed" to be included and taxes "which never were" !calling this company was a task in itself as mentioned in another post, Moral of this story is we lost our HOME back in march 2008 and have been bouncing from home to home since, our credit is ruined and we can never look forward to owning our own home again. Thanks Ocwen for #@*&ing another Family We have two small children you ###s.

Before posting my personal nightmares related to loan servicers, I want to share my plans for resolving them. Several weeks before leaving, I intend to drill holes in the many large pine trees on my property and fill them with salt and RoundUp. The lawn and shrubs will get regular watering with salt brine. On the day I walk away from my home, I am going in the attic and will pour deer urine and skunk oil (available at any sporting goods store) between all the walls before opening the hot water tank's drain valve (hot water tank is in the attic). When I leave, the back door and windows will be open so all the critters living in the swamp behind my home can come in and enjoy the 50 pounds of rotten meat scattered throughout the house. Water will run from the hot water tank until the electricity is disconnected for non-payment but I doubt that will stop at least some of the swamp critters from immediately taking up residence and more will move in when the flooding stops.

Homecomings Financial almost took my home when I accepted "Disaster Assistance" following Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Their "assistance" was a bigger disaster than Katrina and cost me thousand of dollars, but I managed to hold on to my home. Then my servicing rights were bought by Litton. After almost a year of unemployment and under-employment, I did a loan modification through Litton. Two months after the modification was in place, my monthly billing statement began to show "Other Fees Due" in the amount of >$6000.00. Litton said it was for "fees and corporate advances" they forgot to include in the modification but would not itemize the expenses. I called Litton hundreds of times demanding they account for the "fees and corporate advances". I was a rude, hateful, relentless, name-calling ###. When the CSR lied, I called him/her a liar. When the CSR was ignorant, I called him/her stupid. When the CSR hung-up on me, I called right back and tore into the next one. After 18 months, a CSR admitted the "fees and corporate advances" should have been "written off" as part of the modification process and promised to get them removed from my account. Three months later, I got back on my broom and started again because the fees remained on my billing statement. Eventually, the fees were reduced to $2000.00 (+ or -) and then, in Nov 2011, my servicing rights were sold to Ocwen who promptly assessed >$800.00 to my escrow account without explanation. Ocwen has increased my monthly payment $73.00 until the escrowed amount is paid but, to date, have not explained the origin of this debt. And, yes, Litton's $2000.00 in "fees and corporate advances" continue to appear on my billing statements.
After 7 years of dealing with the deliberate and never-ending incompetence of Homecomings Financial, Litton Loan Servicing and Ocwen, I am broke, tired and almost defeated. The small equity I have managed to retain will not pay closing costs and moving expenses if I sell the house. My credit rating, always excellent prior to Katrina, is ruined. I may not keep those thieving vultures from taking my home but, since I have nothing left to lose, I can make sure their efforts are appropriately rewarded.

Ocwen's biggest failure is in efficiently communicating with customers. I was a Supervisor with them and now run my own business against them, helping homeowners the way they should.
Should you need any more specific assistance with any mortgage inquiries, please don't hesitate to submit your case to urostar@adinet.com.uy, and we'll gladly review it to find a potential solution.

Could not agree with you more! Many times I have day-dreamed about winning the lottery (which I'll never do since I don't waste my money on it) and taking a check book to West Palm Beach, walk in and say "How much". Then write the check, ask if I can be introduced to the President of the company and then kindly tell him to shove the check and his mortgage into a place that would require lubricant! Oops... sorry... dreaming again.

Ocwen harassment creating bogus debt mafia related activity!

These people are fraud like to harass create bogus debt. Ocwen loan servicing llc claims I owed household bank 488.00 than they turned around and stated that it is orchard bank they have also stated that it is some public agency which they refuse to give ? I have asked them not to call me but they have continued to call since 10/2007. The phone# is not in my name so they violated my privacy I checked my credit report and there are no collection activity I checked fair isaac and paid 16.00 nothing out there. I contacted the office of financial regulation in florida and she did not want to take responsibility for the financial company doing this claiming jurisdiction. The problem with this argument is this financial institution is in her state and she is failing to take responsibility for the actions of this organization. I am thinking about sending the attorney general of florida a demand for claims and arbitration settlement with a registration in international court that way we will not have any more jurisdiction problems you will be held liable for the company's action. I received a letter from florida on 01/30/2008

I don't care what you say...I have been told lie after lie from this company...How much it costs, how long it takes, that they will stop the foreclosure process and that I won't have to come up with any money. You call anyone you can and you complain, you get hung up on. All they want is your credit card number and they take all they can get. Trapper Fisbeck, Luke Gilmore, Tonja Mahoney...all they want is your money! Jessica Lennon is supposedly a supervisor but she never returns calls...send an e-mail to the president...guess what? I am currently a client of Apply2save.com. My wife was sick with breast cancer and I couldn't leave her so I took 3 months off from work. When I returned when she was better, my company got bought out and I was laid off. It took me 6 months to find another job and I became behind on everything. Medical bills and the mortgage. When I was served with papers that my home was going to be auctioned off in 2 months I got scared. My cousin had contacted Apply2save for me and found out how they worked. I called them myself and they were my last hope. My wife had become ill again, having to go through chemo one more time. They stopped the sale, now they are working on getting me caught up and a lower payment. Ocwen had my loan but just sold it to Citi Financial. My wife just passed away and we have 3 daughter's. There is no way now that I can lose this house, I feel like I would be letting my wife down. They saved it and now are making sure I can stay. If you have problems give them a call, I don't know what else I would have done. I am a mess, if I would have lost the house I'm not sure if I could make it. Now I have to be here for my girls, Apply2save has saved my family, what is left any way.

Too good to be true. That's what I thought. I just Googled Apply2save and this blog came up. I had the same Counselor and when we were talking I was very skeptical. She was nice and all and asked me how I was doing and how the children were. I was going through a divorce and my husband made all the money. He up and left, no child support no nothing. I called her to get help to save my home. She told me everything that would happen and that I would not lose my home. My mortgage was through Wells Fargo. 2 months later, I had a payment I could afford in a fixed rate ( I was in an ARM) and my past due payments were tacked onto the back end of my loan. I didn't have to come up with any money other then to pay for her help. If I didn't make that call my kids and I would be living in a small apartment and would have had to sell of of our furniture and precious things. Too good to be true? I thought so but now it's a reality. Prayer really works!

I too contacted Appy2save.com. I have a mortgage with Countrywide. I lost my job due to downsizing and contacted them right away. I had already done a loan modification cuz I had one of those interest only loans. When I called them to let them know about what was goin on they said send the payment or we will take your house. I have 4 kids. I tried everything I could and called a thousand times always gettin the run a round. Then I called Apply2save.com. I was nervous cuz there are alot of scammers out there just wanting your money. I tried to send Countrywode monwy but because it wasn't the whole money they didn't want it. I got Carin Keeter and she listened to me, she told me that she would represent me and my kids and fight for my home. 2 months later I have my home and am current on my loan, I have a low fixed rate and in a payment that I can afford. i couldn't have done it with out Carin. I thought what she was telling me was too good to be true. She fulfilled every promise.

My home was going into foreclosure with Litton loan. I was in a car accident and was unable to work. So of course I was in the middle of a lawsuit with an insurance company, I tried to explain this with Litton and they just didn't care. I contacted Apply2save.com when I received a notice of foreclosure. My consultant was named Carin Keeter. She assured me that she could stop the foreclosure and save my home. Needless to say she did. Because of her I am now current on my loan and out of the threat of foreclosure. I owe Carin Keeter everything. I was amazed as to how in-expensive and easy the whole process was. I would reccommend Carin and Apply2save.com any time, my 2 children have a wonderful home and she did everything that she promised. Abigail Taylor

Ocwen terrible experience!

I purchased, what I believed to be a 2 million dollar accidental life insurance policy from ocwen. When I contacted ocwen to ask them about the policy they told me, that it was not for 2 million dollars that it was simply the name they had given to the policy. They said the name was 2 million. And that the actual policy was not worth 2 million and it was a whole life policy so I canceled the policy.

They (Ocwen) always call me at home to offer some new up date to the mortgage like for home repairs, insurance, mortgage life etc. They call at least once per week even though I have told them that I am not interested in increasing my monthly mortgage payment! I do not know if they actually sent my payments for the life insurance payments to the under writer for the insurance coverage that I supposedly had purchased over 1 year ago.

I agree totally on everyone's comments. When I call Ocwen I can barely understand them, and I have been waiting for 2 months for them to modify our loan. I was even told once that it was left on someones desk and the paper work was never submitted to the underwriters. I have tried to talk to a supervisor but they are always busy with other clients and claim they will call back. YA RIGHT! This company is very shady, and if my husband and I could get out from under them we would in a heart beat. STAY AWAY from them.

I can totally relate to everything this person is saying. I found that my insurance policy was not paid by Ocwen. This may lead to them setting a different policy on me, that could be triple the amount.

Ocwen is a very very shady company. I have read 2 complaints about Ocwen, I agree with both of them. It is the same exact thing they are doing to me.

I asked for Ocwen to escrow my taxes and insurance into my mortgage, I was told no!

I asked Ocwen to fix my variable rate, they agreed however when times got tough and I asked for some kind of help me with my mortgage, I was denied because they say it was already modified.

This company needs to be the next corporation before the grand jury, there is some serious corruption going on here.

Also I do get the phone calls offering me these ridiculous things. Wouldnt this fall under the "Donotcall.gov" guidelines. I am selling my home now, just to get away from these people.

I hope others read this, maybe they can avoid it and use an honest company!

Something needs to be done with this company. They have my phone number attached to a person with the same last name as mine but I do not know and have never known this person. I have had my phone number and lived at the same address for 25 years so I cannot see how there could be a mix-up. This is now just harrassment. I have asked for my name to be removed from their call list a number of times, they say they will remove it but I still get calls. They only identify themselves as Aukland from Orlando, FL. No will will give me their last names or their business address.

I got so sick of the calls that I played along once to see what they were up to. They asked for the last 4 digits of social security before they would provide any further information. I would never give this out over the phone even if I knew the person they were looking for. I think this is some kind of scam. Beware!

Ocwen overcharging for escrow, and interest

I believe Ocwen bank overcharged me thousands of dollars in junk fees, overcharging for escrow, and interest. They refuse to verify charges and then allegedly you are behind and during the request for account information. they allegedly assigned the loan to LaSalle Bank trustees of a 1998 R-1 pass-through certificate.(what ever that is, some kind of security).

LaSalle Bank filed a foreclosure the day they were assigned the note by OCWEN. They waited 3 months before filing with the court clerk they were the new owners. I found out Lasalle was the owner the day I was served the foreclosure.

OCWEN filed papers with the court they were the owners of the mortgage in 1997 when HUD sold them my loan. When I called LaSalle Bank they told me they had owned my property with this alleged pass-through certificate since 1998. I have never received anything from LaSalle Bank. This case is still pending due to other issues. I still receive bills from OCWEN even though they allegedly assigned this loan to someone else.

I would have thought they would be required to notify me of the transfer. I still do not understand how LaSalle can forclose with ownership in securities related to this property that they bought in 1998 but never filed with the court until after they filed the foreclosure, but still have OCWEN service the loan.

I may lose my home. My husband is disabled.

All of this smells fishy!

Ocwen has scheduled the sale of my home for 4/27/17.
The debt was discharged in 2008 and I have paid a
Mortgage since then. They never had the correct
Amount owed. Ever time I call I get a different person
That doesn't know that I called.

Ocwen has been over charging me in my escrow account for years and same as others they tell me I am behind in my escrow payments and wanted $137 MORE each month this year for taxes when mine acTUALLY WENT DOWN TO VETERAN'S EXEMPTION! There were numerous occassions where they forgot to pay the taxes forcing a lein on my property. The Att General in CT had to intervene. This year they asked me for $1000 more when I had an over-payment this year. I have been trying to get a mtg pay off amount and they keep refusing to send it to me!

My statement at end of year has been incorrect twice claiming they paid the town over $8400 when they really paid $5770. I am asking the AG in CT for a full investigation!

I agree that Ocwen is a preditory lender. We have recieved notification that we owe more than the original loan amount after paying on the loan for over five years and have just recieved a letter from LaSalle Bank. These people know what they are doing taking away people's homes. WHERE CAN YOU FILE A COMPLAINT!

Ocwen took over my mortgage in 2005. Since then my payments went up from 772 a month to 1200 then this year to 1300. I have not missed any payments. I am on a fore bearings plan. According to Ocwen I am 6 payments behind which stops me from changing Mortgage Co. My payments shows 6 months behind. They also says I owe 15400 on my escrow?

I only have 1 mortgage on my house. I have overpaid my mortgage payments since 2005 by $9800.?

In my case Ocwen was supposed to have been paid off in 2005. In a recent review of my credit report it stated that I had an outstanding balance larger than my original loan. When trying to get this resolved I was transferred 5 times to different departments and on hold a total of 2 hours. Still no resolution.
