manager at old navy store 03791
The manager at the Old Navy store in Gadsden, Alabama, store number 03791, was excessively rude to my daughter. My daughter, who is an 18 year old girl, was treated very rude by the Manager at this store. He accused her of having a fake driver license. She is definitely 18 as she had her license to prove and she also just graduated from high school this past Monday night.
We have been shopping at this location for many years, and after this incident, we will NEVER shop the Gadsden Alabama location again!
Very unprofessional manager, should not be in charge of employees and should not be dealing with customers.
they cancelled my order but refused to refund my money
I have ordered 4 items from Old Navy and last moment I changed my mind and decided to cancel my order.
After I read the reviews I got a bit scared and thought that it was better to cancel and order somewhere else.
These people agreed to cancel my order and only after my order was cancelled they told me that they didn't give refunds! They said they'll give me a discount on my next order.
That was terrible and the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. And the worst thing was that they didn't warn me about that and I couldn't even think that kind of thing might happen.
Beware and stay away from Old Navy!
returns
I purchased some athletic ware at youre Abilene Tx location on 4/21/17 and grabbed a shirt that was a size too small. I already tore the tags off of a shirt and washed all my items before i realized it was to small. I went in on 5/12/17 at about 4:30pm and before i walked in i asked Edward (he was at the register closed to the door) if i needed to leave an exchange up front with him, or if i could cary it with me. He asked if i had a reciept (i did) and he said i can just take it with me. I went to grab the shirt i needed and stood in line. The line had about 7 people in it with 3 cashiers. The cashieres were very slow. I finally got up front to be helped by Edward again. I told him i needed to exchange this but i didnt have the tags and it had never been worn. He began to tell me that since i wore and washed it and cut off the UPC tag *inside* the shirt that he does not know what shirt it is and i could not return it. He said the Store manager will be in tomorrow and i can speak to her. If he would have politely said that our return polocy is unwashed and unworn items i would have been okay but instead he accused of cutting a upc code and wearing a shirt that i indeed did not wear (I had no idea that they put UPC's in shirts, Old Navy should be able to tell what shirt it is by looking at the reciept) I do not shop at Old Navy very often so i do not know the return policy off the top of my head. When i got to my car i read at the bottom of the receipt the return policy and i do understand that retailers have policys that they cant break but I am a Assistant Manager for a retail store and i would NEVER accuse someone of something (even if i think they did it). TERRABLE customer service i recieded at the Old Navy Abilene Tx location. I hope Edward gets talked to about his level of professionalism. I will not be back.
old navy online
I have had an issue every single time I place an order with Old Navy. Something suddenly is no longer available or in this case even though I placed the order on time for 1 day shipping something "unexpected" happened and 90% of the order I placed to take with me on a last min trip was not shipped. When you call it's always a pathetic response - I will never order again. They need to figure out how to better manage online inventory because what they are doing is not working. Unreal
incorrectly priced merchandise/terrible customer service
My daughter and I were in the Bayshore location(04518) shopping for clothing for my husband, the time was approximately 7pm (trans #7936). I had already purchased some jeans for my husband that I was very satisfied with and had discovered a shirt I liked on a display wall in the men's department, located in the front of the store on the left of the entrance door. The shirts had 3 50% off tags seen on this display wall. One in the middle of the shirts and 2 on the left side of the shirts(one on the top and one on the bottom). The shirts were Slim fit Oxford shirts. All the shirts on this rack were slim fit shirt. I grabbed a shirt on this wall that was a plaid shirt located on the wall under a 50% off tag. I stood in line for another 20 minutes to purchase this shirt. Once the shirt was rung up it, however, did not ring up for 50% off. The cashier told me this. I informed her that the shirt was on a rack for 50% off and took her to the location is was at. She came up with some story about only the solid shirts were 50%. But the tag did not state that, which I also brought to her attention. I asked to speak to the manager. A manager named Megan rudely came to the registers and quickly dismissed my complaint of the tag incorrectly being priced. She did not even try to go locate the shirts and give me a reasonable explanation as to why the shirts were priced incorrectly. She was very rude and unprofessional. She did not apologize for the inconvenience or anything. I had already wasted 20 minutes standing in a long line that only had 2 cashiers working only to be rudely rejected a purchase I had expected to buy. I did not have a problem paying for the shirt, it the manner and attitude of the manager and cashier that discouraged me from purchasing another item in this store. I am very displeased to know that this is the way loyal customers are treated. I will no longer shop at this location or any OLD NAVY store if this is the treatment being given. Additionally, upon my discovery I just found out online that same shirt is in fact 50% off.
customer service - manager
Worst. Manager. Customer. Service. Ever. I've never ever had a worse experience in my life! This was at the paramus park mall location # 5827, manager name jaime. For the first time ever, someone says to me " I ask you to leave the store, or I will call security" because I argued the fact that I needed to return an item that one of her employees failed to mention that it is final sale! She is defending him and insisting there is nothing she can do! She said "i understand, but I can't return it" at least 6 times so I simply said "i really don't think you understand" and she went fire on me after this! She didn't want to process the return for the rest of my items, and she humiliated me in front of everyone, asking me to leave or she will call security! I did not threaten her, and I doubt she felt "unsafe" that someone who is 4'11" will get physical with her, in order for her to do this! She can't handle a frustrated customer, then she can't be a manager or work in customer service, period! Old navy, you lost a customer and i'm sure you will lose so many more if you keep her in your company! I am considering a lawsuit for the humiliation that this employee of yours caused me!
very poor service
I had an issue with Old Navy in the past (they did not deliver my order) and I was promised a discount on my next order. I decided to give them a second chance and ordered some kids clothing. I wanted to use my discount but couldn't do that myself, so I contacted Old Navy via phone and asked them to do that for me. Their rep said that they were not able to do that and that they did not have any record that I was promised a discount! I explained them what happened in the past and their rep said that he understands everything but unfortunately there is nothing he can help with. I'm very disappointed with Old Navy, they can't even keep their own promises! Very poor service, I'm officially done with this site.
returns
My son received some T-shirts from his Uncle for Christmas. They were too big and my son was going to pick out something else. So I went into the store to return them. I did not have a receipt since they were a Christmas gift but they had all the original tags on them. The first cashier told me that since I didn't have a receipt I would only get a merchandise credit for the cost that shirts were as of that day. I get that. But then told me the merchandise credit would be MAILED? to me? I was like what? So then I asked if I could just exchange them for a smaller size and she said "Yes". So I picked out the same shirts that were a smaller size - stood in line again - and got a different cashier - who went on to give me the speech about only getting a merchandise credit mailed to me without a receipt... I was like "I'm EXCHANGING" them. Didn't matter. I walked out of the store and will never go back. Is Old Navy stupid? You have customers in the store - with a big sale going on and you are going to MAIL them a merchandise credit? Why wouldn't you want to keep the customer in the store - spend the merchandise credit and probably more? Anyway, I am still so amazed and frustrated about their return policy that I have to take this up the chain.
order not received by christmas/promised date
I placed an online order on December 12th for 17 items totaling $146. My confirmation e-mail stated the order would deliver in 8-9 business days which would be December 23rd at the latest. I called customer service on December 21st because my items had not shipped yet and I was concerned about them getting here in time for Christmas. This entire order was for my daughter and these were the only items she was getting under the tree. The guy told me it was shipping the next day and I would receive it on December 22nd. My order starts to be picked on December 22nd and 5 out of 17 items are not available. Then I get an e-mail at 11 o'clock at night that my order will not arrive by the promised date. It says I could call and cancel the order but I used $50 worth of promotions that I know I would not get back. I spoke to customer service the following morning and I asked why would I be told that my order would ship on a specific date and arrive on time if it wouldn't? She replied with the fact that they were not prepared with the amount of orders they received. She gave me a 30% credit on my bill which I was satisfied with but I will never shop online again and will complain to every outlet I can about this.
old navy's customer service
First let me say that I completely understand the holiday rush.. however, Old Navy clearly does NOT know how to handle larger than normal volumes or how to handle customer complaints.
I placed a fairly large order with Old Navy on November 23. Please note that this was BEFORE Thanksgiving and before the large sales that they say is causing their delays. I have received only a very, very small portion of my shipment and still have no idea of an expected date for the remainder. I have made numerous calls to Old Navy, only to wait on hold for nearly an hour and then to speak to rude and unhelpful reps who are not willing to help. And, the email support replies 6+ days later.
Today, I began receiving emails saying that my items may not ship until up to 30 days later and that I could call to cancel the order. Another hour on hold and I finally reach a super snappy rep that told me that my package was boxed up and should be shipping in the next few hours. I asked if ALL items were included and she said yes. Well, while on the phone with her I received an email saying that one item was out of stock. Clearly, I got lied too. When I mentioned this to her she stated, "oh well I'll try to submit a cancellation then but who knows if it will work.. if it don't just return it to us." So, I'm suppose to hope it cancels and if not wait until late January to get my funds back for the items that I don't even need or want?!?!?
I am furious and others are too. Check Facebook and read the reviews! I will NEVER purchase from Old Navy or any affiliate again. In store or online! What a sickening company!
customer service
After purchasing many items from the Old Navy website, I have only received half my purchase. When contacting customer service, I have been told different updates with every time I've called. Its been going on three weeks and no one from this company can neither provide a tracking number or give me a correct answer on when my order will ship. I will never by from this site again and will make sure friends and family are aware of the incompetence of this company.
managers at old navy 503 fulton mall bklyn, ny 11201
I have experienced rudeness from Managers at this location. A male named Chritian. Who is ill mannered interrupting conversations without excusing himself. Stating when asked if excuse me is needed when you see people talking . He states it depends on on who it is. This is the mentally of uncultured and the unprofessional. This took place on Thur Dec 01, 2016 on the lobby near the front doors about 1:30 of the store. Then Tues Dec 06, 2016 at 3:42 at the above address and location another Mannger Female named keyska might not be the spelling of her name. Walked in between me and another party talking at the door by stepping betwwen us she lifted her leg up to get betwwen us . Unreal where do you hire these people from? As an older women over the age of 53, am completely disgusted with this disrespect. These are the wrong people representing this company. Maybe respect lessons can be giving along with being Manager .
false advertisement, customer service
There was an advertisement for tank tops for $2, for Sat July 2nd, my daughter and I arrived at Old Navy on Trenton in McAllen, TX about 9:20 am looking for the shirts, finally about 9:40 we found a young man whom we asked about the shirts, his response was, "we sold out". I asked when because we arrived at 9:20 and he stated "yesterday", that they were sold out because they did not know that the shirts were supposed to be for Sat., He then motions that they had these other shirts for $4. We took 3, but one was very soiled and asked the pregnant lady at the register if there would be a discount since that was the only shirt in that size color, without a smile, or good morning she just scrubs the shirt and shows it to us, mind you no words, so no discount and then the shirts scanned $8. I had to basically argue the price and informed her that the young man informed us of the price and I had to go show her where the price marked $4. She then took off the price and said that was incorrect, I told her that she should price them at $4 since the price was there and the other employee had stated that was the price. Overall that lady was so rude, I don't know if it was hormonal since she was pregnant but that was no excuse to treat customers that way.
false advertising, staff behavior awful at closing time
My husband and I decided to take advantage of old navy's $10 sale for the dresses yesterday, the add said june 24th so being the 23rd we decided to take a peak to see if it would be worth it the next day. When we got there, we noticed a few items at 50% off, however we really wanted what their proposed add said, my husband asked the staff member and we were told no, the sale is for ontario only! We're in quebec and yet everywhere on the radio, even by email and sms I got the add depicting that very sale! Talk about misleading! As if that wasn't enough, the store manager at 8:50 was telling everyone that you cannot try on clothes anymore as they were closing, so I rushed to the counter where again, there was a mile long line up with only one cashier! They called someone else after figuring out that one wasn't enough. While standing there I noticed the same behavior as before when it was closing time, staff visibly and verbally complaining loud enough to each other so we all could hear about how there were still people in the store, what shocked me the most was that the manager even permitted herself to join in! I was so disgusted and angry, the reason those idiots have a salary is because of us the customer! I have been at wal mart and not once do you ever see them complain, as a matter of fact, I have never seen behavior like this in any other store, but old navy's staff definitely makes up for the lack thereof. I highly doubt any action will be taken, especially when I see so many complaints already and thus far everything seems to stay just as awful. Old navy, you seriously need to shove it in your head that if you're making money, it's because of your customers, without us, you'll wind up like all the other stores that go up the creek, meaning, you'll be nonexistant, so if that's what you want, rest assured you are definitely headed the right way!
return
my daughter sent us christmas presents from old navy that she ordered on line. took entire package back to old navy for store credit so we could shop for something else we had the reciept. the cashier scaned all items and the rx the said no store credit no cash and the he was putting entire refund back on daughters credit card. he was incable of exiting the return could not stop or return merchandise which we had rx for., if i had not been with a grtoup of people would have had the sherriff comd down and fore return of my property. they should actually train these incapable staff . they should know how to stop a return. daughter is furious and cancelling credit card and all future business with them.
alexandra gurt commercial
We don't have children but my Husband and I still find this offensive. People that are cross dressers and other now publicly acceptable people do not have to be shoved down our throats. Life is confusing enough. This seems very strange and I am starting to feel dislike towards Old Navy.
I agree with both comments. It's very strange to me that stuff like this is being pushed down our throats. I don't have a problem with cross dressers at all but cross dressers have been around way before 2015 and it wasn't shoved down people's throats then. It's too much.
I agree with the complaint. I was grossed out and will not be buying anything from Old Navy till they gets their own heads on "straight". YUCK.
magnetic tag left on garment
Hi there, I purchased a shirt yesterday at the Old Navy store in Spokane, WA. When I got home and was getting ready to wrap this item, I noticed the magnetic tag had not been removed when I purchased it. I called the store manager or assistant manager, Bryn. She told me how I could remove it on my own. I was not able to remove it and my husband had to drive 40 miles to the store today. We were offered a $5 coupon for the hassle. I felt like that was completely ridiculous. There was a small hole in the garment from where the magnetic strip was attached. The size I needed was not in stock and my husband was told it would be 7 to 10 days until we would receive it. This is a Christmas gift and I am concerned it won't be here in time. Our sales clerk's name was Skye. I was surprised we were offered 5$. The gas alone cost more than that to return the item to have the magnetic strip removed. I was disappointed in how this was handled. Thanks, Resa Rawley
poor customer service and horrible policies
I opened an old navy card, paid on-time, more than the minumum. Six months after opening this card, old navy did a soft inquiry on my credit (without my knowledge or authorization). Unfortunately, a medical bill appeared during that time on my credit report, which made my score drop and based on this...old navy decreased my balance from $300 to $200. At the time, I had $125 charged on the card, so because of the decrease...my credit utilization was impacted and caused my score to drop even more. I was advised by old navy customer (who are very rude, I might add), that they base their credit increases and decreases solely on credit score, regardless of payment history. I continued to pay on time, until the next incident, where one month I wanted to make a payment, using two separate accounts, registered in my online profile. I made the first payment, which was under my minimum payment due and then followed immediately to make the second payment from the second account and was denied the option. I had to find out the hard way that old navy's system allows only one payment a day via, so my second payment had to be made the next day and I was charged a late fee. The late fee was reversed (so they claimed), but my minimum payment the following month was increased by old navy. I was advised that it was due to the late fee being charged and once I made that payment-the balance should go back to the normal minimum fee. Well, that didn't happen and the minimum fee was even higher the following month. Needless to say, I made the decision to close the account. Mainly, to avoid another soft inquiry and any possible negative impact on my credit, because I didn't use the card as much. Secondly, the customer was horrible and the whole billing issue just left a bad taste in my mouth. I use to shop at old navy frequently, for my 8 year old and could care less if I EVER step foot in another old navy after dealing with this card. They lost a loyal customer!
ladies bathroom
There was a special promo from my company so my husband and I decided to take advantage of this. The store was great and the customer service was great. However, my husband was taking his time finding the perfect shoe for him so I took a trip to the ladies room. It was totally unacceptable! The first stall (there were only 3) was out of order, the second stall had no latch on the door and the third was occupied. So, I waited! Once the person left the stall (she was an employee!) I discovered there was no toilet paper and then I went to wash my hands and there was no paper towels. There was antibacterial soap. The bathroom was nasty! I did report it to the manager and she appeared to go and fix the problem.
refuse to take my $5.00 off coupon
I applied old navy card about a month ago. So, I went there earlier this afternoon, I was excited to see all the new spring clothes so I got shirt, pair of socks, and earrings. I went up to cashier, I gave her $5.00 coupon, she stated she need the old navy card, and I told her I left it at home. I was going to use my debit card. She said she cannot use coupon unless I need the old navy card. It had happened before. I was so mad so I left the store. I will never go back to Old Navy. I will spead the words to other people, my family, friends, and co workers.
Also if the same thing happened before you should know that you are required a card. It is obvious you are still too young to shop without a parent.
Next time go shopping with a parent. It is not their fault you left your card at home. If mommy or daddy went shopping with you they could have read the terms and conditions of the card and made sure you bought your Old Navy card with you. So because of your mistake you are angry at them. You should be angry at yourself. The fact that you are angry at them for something that is your fault shows you are a child.
