Olive Garden service and management

My wife and I just left the Olive Garden in Temple and may or may not ever revisit. Let me detail why: it took an excessively long time to get our soup. I finished my meal, which was not the best chicken, while waiting on my wife's order which was first incorrect. I spoke with the manager on this issue. Telling me "we all make mistakes" is not very good service recovery in my book. The Temple restaurant services is growing at an alarming rate, so the above issues need to be resolved/addressed.

Olive Garden food

We went to get the pumpkin cheesecake but it was sorely disappointing when they came out with a chocolate pumpkin cheesecake and told us afterwards the one we wanted was no longer available. This new chocolate pumpkin cheesecake is absolutely awful and I will never order it again. The one olive garden has had out the last few years is the one that had been amazing and I believe I should have been told that the product had changed when I ordered it not after they brought it to the table. Then I would not have wasted my money. The pumpkin cheesecake is the whole reason we went and to find out it had changed to something so awful after we had already been served made me very angry.

Olive Garden manager

I went to the Olive Garden 1372 on 9280 E Roosevelt Blvd. last Friday 10/5/18. We had ordered create 3 appetizers and had to send back the stuffed mushrooms because they were bad with a fishy smell. Ok I get it, things happen. Our waitress who did a fabulous job said that the manger would take if off the check. I had a coupon for a free birthday dessert so the manager came over looked at the coupon and said that he would take it off the check. The check arrives and the dessert is still on there but the app. was taken off I had a gift card so the bill said $19 and some change. I called the waitress over to let her know that the dessert was not taken off and she said that she would get the manager to handle it. After 20 minutes she comes back and the bill is now $23.01 more that the last bill and it should have been less after he takes off the dessert. I wait another 20 minutes for the manger to come over and now I am getting a little frustrated because it was not that busy. The manger told me that he took off the appetizer instead of the dessert and I explained to him that he should have because went back the mushrooms back because they were bad. He did not care and did not take it off. This is very disappointing since me and my kids go there at least once a month. I think that I should be refunded my entire amount of my check or a gift card for my next visit. The manager should not have argued with me over the app and by this time I already waited 40 min to resolve the issue with my check which was longer than getting our meals and eating them. ck#827931 Waitress Alisha

I just want to say that we went to olive garden last night with my family from Canada they would not take a reservation even that it was for 17 people but said call ahead and we did they would sit us as fast as they could I warned them I had diabetics 2 that had to eat 2 children one an epileptic the other with cerebral palsey about 10 yr olds they said they would. do their best for 6. 30 PM well by 8.00pm we had not. they offered free appetizers nothing for a child stuffed mushrooms etc. Now they finally sat us after many people with parties of six or eight were sat when they could have put tables together to sit my party of 17 well Amy one of the managers and Katie another managers were kind enough to give us a 100 dollar gift certificate to use for the meals and they tried hard to make us happy then a black girl named tammy I think was our server she worked hard but was upset at the tip I gave her well I was not aware that tips were mandatory and you can imagine how I felt after this circus not at all in a mood to tip as I would normally please forgive my ranting on but I am still a bit upset I will never bring anyone to olive garden again this was olive garden in Dartmouth ma thank you for letting me vent

Olive Garden discrimination

I walked into the Olive Garden where they were snickers and discriminatory comments made as I walked in they made me wait over 30 minutes for a meal and they serve everybody in less than five minutes there were some mention about something being done to my food and the reason why they were doing it so that I wouldn't return this is 2018 all people are allowed in restaurants this discrimination is disgusting and terrible nobody should feel like they can't come to a place and eat happily The waiters made it seem like it was a problem in the bag but I was the only one who receive that problem nobody else's fault was late I was looking at all the people that surround me and they all got their food one time including the entire restaurant I was the only person that did not get their food one time and had to wait over 30 minutes

I highly doubt your story. Most businesses are made up of people of all races and for all of them to turn on you is highly unlikely.
This restaurant cooks food to order so NO ONE got their food in 5 min.
So if you are saying that they told you they were going to do something to your food and yet you stayed? You didn't call the police, the local news, or local health department?
Nah, I think you had a bad experience or perceived bad experience and now you want to make it a "race" issue.

Olive Garden take home service

My husband and I came in for dinner recently and had a nice time. My husband was suppose to take home an order of spaghetti and meatballs. When we got home, he was very disappointed to find out it was an order of cheese ravioli. We would of brought it back but we live over an hour away, and yes, we come that far to enjoy Olive Garden.

Olive Garden to go order

I went into restaurant and placed a to go order. While I waited for my order at the bar I ordered a drink.

When I got my to go order I sat there another 5 minutes and then left. I was so hungry as I had not eaten all day so took a breadstick out of my to go bag on the way home and was instantly disappointed with the first bite. The breadstick was not only dry but was as hard as a rock. My favorite thing in the whole meal and I was so disappointed! I'm guessing it was a leftover from lunch? Or, it was overcooked although it doesn't look it. They will find s pls fix in Ghana trash bag as soon I get home. I would think OG has some sort of policy on food?

Olive Garden poor “reheated” food?

I went to Olive Garden at West Springfield MA route 5 today. The last time before today that I visited was about three or four years ago and I was very disappointed. The bread was old with one side hard. The drink taste like they didn't put any alcohol in it and the food that I order, chicken Alfredo, make me go to the bathroom, which that never happened before when I ate here... also they're cheap with the salad... too bad they're not as good as before. I will never go back again. I'm afraid that all the Olive Garden chain might have change for the worst... not so fresh

Olive Garden general manager

I find it very insulting that your general manager can walk around and speak to people in the restaurant. We are sitting there and she can walk by us like we were not even there. Asking how is every thing on and on.
We had to wait on drinks several times. The bread we got was hard my lasagna had a hair in it so I did not finish my meal. The waitress said I was trying to get back to your table there was so many people in my way. She meet us as we where leaving to pay. We had not even got our ticket to pay.

This was at lunch on Sunday. After paying $40.00 for a meal this is pitiful. Checkers could have done better.

Olive Garden service

Went for my friends 55 th birthday. There was 8 in our party. Went on October 5th 2018. I've never had such lousy service. Asked for another bowl of soup never brought it. Asked again, 40 mins went by. Never got it. Left hungry and had to stop and get something to eat. I give this establishment a thumbs down. I will never go to Olive Garden again. Very unsatisfied with this restaurant. Will let my friends know if they want great customer service this restaurant is not the one. 👎👎👎

The worst I've ever experienced. 👎👎👎never again wilI I eat here. I should ask for my money back. Never brought me the food I ordered. Left very dissatisfied.

Olive Garden supervisors

Hi, my name is lakeisha Price and I've been working with Olive Garden for 3 years now and recently I have been on suspension for a week for a guy pulling my hair assaulting me. So this past Monday I was called up to the job for them to terminate me . I don't feel as of I should have been terminated because I only retaliated back cause the guy had me in a corner headlock pulling my hair. So I really would like to get more information on what I should take action next? I've been out of job for week &half now and struggling to find work. I'm a hard-worker and shouldn't have been treated unfairly by those supervisors.

Olive Garden poor service

Last night we went to the Olive Garden at Southlake Mall in Jonesboro GA for my husband's birthday. It was the worst customer service we have ever experienced - we had a party of six (five adults and one child) - we sat for twenty to thirty minutes before the server ever came to take our drink order. We were at the restaurant for 50 minutes seated and they still had not brought our salad or bread. After one hour they brought our entree and said they had to bake more bread and fix the salads! (we still had no salad or bread). They never offered to refill our drinks - we had to ask for more to drink and we were only drinking tea and water. When we had finished our entrees they brought out the salad and bread. We asked for more to drink and they finally brought refills as we were leaving. The bill was $101 dollars and change. My husband paid it and we left. It was terrible service and we were really shocked by the overall experience.

Olive Garden points scheme

Hi, we are visiting from the UK and because we love what Olive Garden do we visited the Williamsburg branch and there we signed up to the rewards scheme. However as we went from place to place we found that no one else was signed up to the points scheme, even tough they all had the little terminals on the tables asking you to join the eclub. We saved all of our receipts hoping to find one where we could register our purchases. We got to Orlando to find that no one in the city has signed up to the points scheme. So I am left with receipts from Garner / Cary, Myrtle Beach, Charleston and Savannah and no one will credit the points, please help me. Kindest Regards Paul Robbins

Olive Garden service

Visited olive gardens on havana and parker in aurora co. 40 minutes after ordering, server came up to me and asked me what I wanted. WOW, 40 minutes after ordering, the order was not even taking. Ill rate the place zero stars, they are amazingly bad at customer service. What a place. The dishes are overprices, slow on service and portions are small. Last time I ate here, the food came cold. Would not recomend this place to an enemy.

Olive Garden was hung up while placing an order 2 times

On my way home from my wife (Karen) attempted to place a order by telephone and was hung up on twice after waiting/being put on hold for 20 minutes both times. I then went in person to the OG at the Woodbridge location and when I attempted to speak with the take out person I was confronted by a young manager who then was explaining to me about he's a man and I need to bring my voice down. This again was after I had driven 40 miles home from work dealing with heavy traffic and after my wife was put on hold twice and hung up on twice. We I would say maybe order take out from OG maybe once a month and on occasions will go there to dine. With the way I and my wife was treated we won't be ever eating at Olive Garden ever again. For some reason or another your Woodbridge Virginia location appears to be always having this problem.

Went to Olive Garden last night my family and I ordered our food. My husband ordered his sirloin without the garlic her butter he received it with a huge amount of garlic seasoning on it. I tried his steak and believe me it was a ton of garlic. We also had a to go order when we brought it home my daughter found a hair in her salad. I asked to speak to a manger no one ever came to our table

Olive Garden horrible customer service

We visited the Olive Garden in Tulsa Ok tonight located near 71st and Memorial. First---it took over 15 minutes to be seated and it did not appear to be that busy. It was 9pm at night so we said perhaps they did not have that many servers still on duty.Then slowly we got waited on and we finally placed our order. We told the server we needed silverware from the onset. The salad and breadsticks came to the table and still did not have a fork to eat any food with. It seemed like very POOR communication among workers because we had to ask three times and finally the lady behind the bar went and got us all a fork. They said they were out of forks and were trying to "roll some"--- Then why bring salad out to the table? The customer service we received was poor and getting additional bread sticks, extra salad dressing took repeated requests as well. Even more of a disappointment was the attitude of the manager when we ask to speak to him to advise of our poor customer service!Unlike ANY service we had experienced before at ANY Olive Garden, the manager was NOT kind or even the least bit caring. His name was Brett but when I asked for his name from our server she went to go get his business card and they were "out" of those as well. He made no financial accommodations for our poor service NOR DID HE come back to our table to make sure the wrongs had been corrected, to check on how our food was, or to even attempt to make this a positive visit for us. So disappointing for my family and I. I feel that is not the image or service you wish to provide to your customers.

Olive Garden customer service

Good evening,

To whom it may concern:

I had the worst experience at the Salisbury location Olive Garden. My family and I were gathering together to celebrate my father's birthday. We had a party of 23 people. We waited about thirty 30 minutes to be seated which was fine since we had a large party. We had one server which was slow. We were unable to get refill on drinks, salads, or bread. After about 30 minutes of waiting the food runners brought food out and the sever was no where to be found so food got cold and flies got on people food. Some party members food was missing, Salad and bread came out two minutes before food, appetizers came out after food. Once food was returned to kitchen it was another 20 minutes. Score they receive their food and everyone was done eating .Several members of our party complained to speak to a manager. It took manager about another 20 minutes to come. Also, not one time did a manager come to see about our party or sever. Server had to large parties that he was unable to handle alone. It was like the managers did not care. This was the worst customer service ever. I will never eat at this location again. There needs to be more training with servers and manager. Most members of our part was unsatified with the service we have received today.

Olive Garden server

Our server Shannon at Olive Garden was very flustered and rude to us. She wasn't very attentive and she kept forgetting about us. Then when she did remember us, she got our order wrong and blamed it on us. I ordered Chicken Alfredo and she gave me Shrimp Alfredo. Unfortunately I'm allergic to shellfish and I told her the order was wrong and she gave us an attitude and took my plate came back with the correct order on a child size plate with the pasta overflowing on the edges. What kind of service is this? Olive Garden should have higher standards when hiring these people.

Olive Garden poor service / poor food

The incident happened on 9/29 in between the hours of 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm. There were 5 people there, and we sat privately at a reserved table. We ordered our food at approximately 7:30 pm and it did not arrive to us until closely of 8:30 pm. We ordered (2) Chicken Alfredo meals, (1) Baked Ziti, (1) Chicken Carbonara with NO SHRIMP and only chicken, and a Stuffed Fettuccine meal. Well, we received all of that, but it wasn't what we expected. The 2 Chicken Alfredo meals had barely ANY alfredo sauce on them, that we had to order extra. The Baked Ziti wasn't Penne Noodles, but rigatoni noodles, and tasted terrible. The Chicken Carbonara came out with Shrimp and Chicken, and got sent back, and the Stuffed Fettuccine meal had absolutely NO sauce on it at all. SO, we tried to be nice and order extra sauce, with that we wanted bread sticks. The first lady who brought our food wasn't our waitress, and she sent the Chicken Carbonara meal back to the kitchen (That's who we asked for more bread sticks). Well, we never received it. SO then after 15 minuets, we asked our waiter for more bread sticks, and a sprite. We never received that either. We then spoke to the manager, Dan i believe his name is. And he had someone bring out sprite within a 5 min time frame. BUT NO BREAD STICKS. It wasn't until closely 9:15 that our friends received her food, in a TO GO container because we left. The manager did take care of the woman who didn't receive her food, but not the rest of us. No body got ANYTHING taken off their bill, which is very unprofessional given the fact we ALL had a terrible time there. To say the least, since i ate a little of my Fettuccine meal last night, i got extremely ill, with severe stomach pains. I don't know what the heck was going on at Olive Garden last night but that was the WORST i have EVER seen it. I will not be going back... and i do expect a refund for not only a miserable time there, but now for me suffering with stomach pains, and having to throw away the other half of my 15.99 meal. I bought a pitcher of Apple Sangria which was 21.50 as well. So this horrendous meal costed me almost 40 dollars.

Olive Garden seating

We came into the Olive Garden in mentor Ohio with a bus full of hungry college athletes. Was told we'd be seated in 30-40 minutes. That was fine. After an hour we were told it's be another 20-30 minutes as they were putting us at a table all together. When we came we said separate tables were fine because we are hungry! A manager comes out and proceeds to "put us in our place" we then ask for a corporate number and she leaves us hanging with a massive attitude. Her name is Danielle ward. She was not a very nice person at all! Giving the fact that we are going to be paying over $250! She stoood there and lied to us stating she heard what we were told. That they are all hooked up to each other and can hear From work experience myself I know you have to push a button for others to hear you. The young lady did not. Now that we are seated and the lady knows I'm sending this and calling tomorrow when your corporate offices open we are receiving 2 free appetizers per tables. So 4. Which we totally appreciate!
