Poor service and manager did not do much

Today, 12/09/22 at 2:25 PM, my wife and I were seated in the 510 Woodbridge Center Drive, NJ restaurant. The restaurant was not crowded, and we were seated immediately.
At 2:45 PM we got up to tell the manager that no wait staff employee had come to our table. Other customers that were seated after us had their drinks and food orders and taken by their server. Finally, a server came to us and would only take our drink order because the waitress, Yani was busy. The drinks arrived at our table by another employee.
Finally, Yani arrived to take our order. The bread arrived and we had previously requested butter on the side. Yani stated that this Olive Garden ran out of butter. This we found to be unusual.
Yani took our order, salad, appetizer, two main dishes to eat at the table and two $6.00 take out special promotional meals to go. Each employee was polite. After a small wait the salad arrived. We had no plates, and she did not bring any.
No server or Yani came to the table while we were eating. When the main entrees arrived, we asked Yani to remove the dirty salad bowl and the appetizer plates and refill my iced tea. She touched the salad bowl, lifted it about 5 inches and placed it back down. She did not take any plates. I placed them on the next table. We did not get our takeout meals, we requested them three times! No refill of iced tea was provided. The food we ate was good. We usually order dessert and cappuccino. No dessert or coffee was offered after we finished our meal because Yani nor any server came to us. I got up to complain to the manager. As we were paying the bill to leave, the iced tea came. No staff member was rude, the food was good but service was very, very poor. Check number 829890 was provided a credit by the manager who was aware of the poor service.
Olive Garden's promotional $6.00 meals were not provided to us or billed to us.
We visit this and other Olive Gardens in Piscataway, Route 35 Monmouth next to the mall, all in New Jersey, on a regular basis. Route 35 Monmouth has the best service each time.

My complaint is the me & my sister order off the Create your Pasta Menu for $12.99, with water. We asked the waitress if we could get the Fettuccine pasta with that and the creamy mushroom, she stated that we could, and it would not be an extra charge. When I we got our bill, she charged us $a total of $17.59. I asked her about my bill, and she stated that since we order the Fettuccine Pasta, she was going to have to charge us extra for it. I stated that you told us there would be no extra charge and with her attitude she made the statement that she couldn't change it and we was charge extra for the fettuccine. I was disappointed in her service because if an employee is not sure, she should have stated, "Let me check to make sure that you can". I'm requested a refund, since that was not what we were told.

My sister and I go the Olive Garden in Secaucus all the time. Today we ordered the same thing we always do. Unlimited salad and bread sticks (no soup) and we share. Well usually we get charged for one salad because that is all we eat. They charged us for TWO salads when we only received ONE. This is crazy. The manager Lauren was very rude and said it is family style. NO its not! If we paid for TWO salads which we had too, then we should of received TWO salads not one. We told her to give us one to go but she refused and just kept saying its family style, etc. Very stubborn and rude. We told her she just lost two customers and she did not care. I am sorry you have such a not too friendly manager in this place. I don't see why we paid for two bowls of salad and we only received one. Again, we will never eat there again and told our families the same. They too, will no longer go there. We will however go to the one in Wayne where they charge you for one bowl and not two.
I usually don't complain about things but she was so rude. She could not comprehend that we paid for two salads and received only one. She could of fixed this problem by giving us a salad to go thus getting the two we paid for.

I would like to share a very bad experience I had at this Olive Garden at 14231 E Sam Houston pkwy N Houston. I am the care taker of my 82 year old parents, whom both do not drive anymore. I went out of town for a weekend vacation Nov 4-7, and had a friend to take care of them while I was gone. To make things easy for them, I ordered my Mom and Dads favorite dish on line and had my friend pick it up on Sat Nov 5th. (2 orders of chicken scampi). She picked it up around 2:45pm and took it to my parents. While fixing their plates she notices a very long piece of black hair wrapped around one of the bell peppers. She called me and sent me a picture wondering what she should do. I told her just to let them share the other one and I would take care of it when I get back on Nov 7th. I didn't want her to have to go out of her way of going back to the restaurant since she was already doing me a huge favor. I made it back to Houston on Nov 7 early morning. I went back with the container of uneaten food, along with the picture of the hair wrapped around the pepper, and the original receipt. I walked up to the bar area and Kevin(manager) saw me and asked if he could help me. I started explaining what happened. I showed him the picture and explained why it took me two days to come back. I offered to show him my confirmation for the airline, showing that I just arrived that morning. He asked, "what do you want us to do?" I said, "just replace the meal, and without the hair this time". I smiled, because I know in the food industry, things like this happen. He replied sarcastically, "ALL MY COOKS WEAR HAIR NETS". I said "are you saying that I'm makin this up? I showed you the picture." He said "Let me see the picture again". I showed him the picture again. He said " we will make you another one, it'll be just a few minutes." I said " ok, I'll run to the grocery store and be back in about 15 minutes". I walked out and thought to myself, this guys never apologized. I walked back in and told Kevin that I decided to just get a refund. He told me " We have started cooking your meal, so that is not an option" I said "Are you kidding me? I don't want it anymore because you have never apologized, you just immediately said, your cooks wear nets". He kept saying, we don't need to discuss this anymore. "I asked could I get a gift card instead?" He said "No, we have already started your meal" I can't believe that he denied me a refund all over an $18 meal. I asked to speak to his manager and he said "she will be in later at 3pm". He also said their other manager, Chris, would be in the next day. I asked him again, "so you are saying I have to take this meal, and you can't just refund me or give me a giftcard, instead of the meal". He said no, and that we were not going to talk about it anymore. I figured I better take the meal because it was better than leaving totally empty handed. I have never been treating like this at a business in all my life. I'm 53 years old and owned a business for 14 years straight, and I know that good customer service is what you need to stay in business. I would love for you to pull the tape from the bar area to see how nice and calm I was. Like I said before, hair in food at a restaurant is likely to happen, so I was not upset. I was upset when I realized that he didn't feel the need to take ownership and apologize, instead he clapped back about his cooks all wear hair nets. Order is under Pearline Singleton, Check #66163. On October 5 at 12:27 pm, my sister and I took my brother and his wife to the Olive Garden at The Highlands in Triadelphia, WV for his birthday. My sister and I were splitting the cost. When our bill arrived ($73.78), I put my card in to pay half ($36.89). I inadvertently forgot to remove my card, so I paid the entire bill of $73.78 plus $14.76 tip bringing the total charged to my card of $88.54. When this was called to our server's attention, he enlisted the help of the manager. The manager then told me that he would refund the entire amount that I had paid and I would start over and pay the $36.89 + $7.38 tip with my card and the initial full amount paid would be refunded to my card. My sister paid her share in cash. As of today, my bank account does not reflect the amount that was to be refunded to me. I have the slips that the manager gave me stating that an online approval has been voided for the following transaction. But, I have yet to receive my refund. I can give you the check number and the CC Trans Number from the receipts if you desire. I can also show you my bank statement where these amounts were deducted from my account . When visiting yesterday, we ordered the endless soup, salad, and breadsticks. We had to ask after about 30 minutes to get the breadsticks. We were only offered 1 bowl of soup, and our salad plates were taken before we were even done. The waitress did not ask if we wanted any refills. She sat at a nearby booth and chatted with a coworker about being off work soon. While looking around, we noticed 4 other tables that had no breadsticks either. She walked by and just sat the receipt on the table without a word or asking if we need anything else. We felt so rushed to get out of there. I mean, we had to ask for the food we had already ordered. Worst service ever.
Desired outcome: I would like to get both of our meals and drinks refunded back. Maybe we can have a more acceptable experience and actually receive everything we ordered.

I visited your Olive Garden Inn Mansfield Ohio on August 22,2022 on my way home from vacation. What i thought would have been a quick lunch ended up being over an hour and a half lunch. My mother and I waited over 15 minutes to even be acknowledged we had been seated. A waitress that was not ours asked if we had been waited on. We said no. She said our server Anthony P. was new and would be with us in a moment. She told him we needed service. He took our drink order which was just water. He brought it and then took our order. We ordered the lunch special of spaghetti with meat sauce and the lunch lasagne. He never brought our salad and breadsticks. The previous waitress went to get it and brought it back to us. He then came back with a spaghetti and meatball lunch. My mother said that is not what she ordered. So he took it back. Returned back with a full dinner lasagne. I asked him if that was the lunch portion. He said yes. Took another 10 minutes to bring the correct spaghetti order. Never asked if we wanted cheese on it. The previous waitress came to check on us. I told her I ordered the lunch lasagne and she said that was the dinner portion. I told her that I wanted to be charged for the lunch portion. She said she would make sure to change our bill which she did. She brought us boxes for our leftovers since he never returned. We actually had to ask for a bill. Sexual Harassment of a Minor
Good Afternoon,
It has come to my attention that the staff, especially the cooks, at the Vista California Olive Garden are sexually harassing the hostesses (all female minors). The manager does not help the minors with the harassment and continuously seeks retribution on the female minor when they complain. Several female staff have quit for this very reason. I urge you to look into this matter before legal becomes involved as well as videos submitted on social media. This restaurant is a cesspool of sexual harassment towards underage females and if something hasn't happened already, give it due time and Olive Garden will once again be sued for allowing this to continue and not stopping it.
Desired outcome: Retrain staff on sexual harassment and have a zero policy. Create a point of contact for complaints outside of the restaurant for staff to come without fear of retribution or firing.

On July 30th around 6:30 PM. 11 of my co-workers went to your location at 1176 Mt Zion Rd, Morrow, GA. We had a 15 to 20 minute wait on a table which we fully understood. After sitting another 15 minutes we asked a server if we could get someone to take care of us. They came to take our drink orders. Another 20 minutes went by and we received salad and bread. Then someone finally took our orders. We were asked if we would like more bread and salad which we replied yes, This never came. At this point not all of us had even received our drinks. We were finally served our food ( Which was good ). I had completely finished my meal, had sat the plates aside and finally received my drink I had order in the beginning. I ordered a frozen strawberry margarita, I was served a margarita on the rocks which tasted like nothing but sweet syrup. I took one drink and left it on the table. At one point the manager apologized for the long wait to get our drinks but never did anything to expedite the order. She never came back to check on us again. We then had to hunt a server down to get our bills and stand at a servers station and pay. This trip to Olive Garden took us 2 1/2 hours. We were all visiting from other states in town for work. This was my first visit to Olive Garden and there was nothing satisfying about it.
Desired outcome: I really think the manager should have taken our drinks off our bill so say the least. I really feel all 11 of us should be given a gift card for a future visit if any of us want to give Olive Garden another chance.

August 3, 2022, my friend and I went to the Olive Garden @5307 Market Street in Wilmington, NC 28405. Our waitress (Amonie) something like. never ask if we wanted soup or salad, she just came back with salad. She brought our drinks, then after a while she took our order. She never returned to our table after that. We never received any refills. We waited over a half hour for our food. I went to the desk and ask where our food was, the girl said I will get the manager, after a bit (Arthur) the manager came to our table and said he would comp our food, they only had 3-line cooks. We were not mad and understood the help shortage. Our food finally came and as I was eating, I felt something strange in my mouth, I started gagging, grabbed my napkin and finally got it out. It was a good size piece of plastic wrap in my alfredo fettucine. When my friend told another girl at the desk, she came to the table, never ask if I was ok, just had a smile on her face, like she thought it was funny. She said I will get your waitress, still she never came back to our table. Plus, there was trash in the windowsills, and seats, the light fixtures were filthy. I called back to ask who the manager was, the girl said why do you want to know? I ask her again; I wanted to know the managers name and described the waitress to her and that I wanted her name as well. I do have the piece of plastic wrap with me.

Chicken and gnocchi soup and Spaghetti with meat sauce and meat balls
My husband ordered the gnocchi soup and Spaghetti with meat sauce and meat balls. I did not order any of those dishes. He has been extremely sick since the next morning, and did not eat anything after dinner and was too sick the next morning to eat. He has been in bed and the bathroom for 2 days.
We had dinner on Friday , July 22, around 7pm. The service was excellent and the food was very good except for the spaghetti. My husband complained the spaghetti didn't taste as good as it usually does and it was extremely bland. We always enjoy our visits to Olive Garden and hope this never happens again to us or any other person.

We took my husband to Olive Garden for dinner for father's day. We got our salad and breadsticks and my husband opened his napkin to grab his fork to eat and it was completely dirty of food. We were not able to flag down a server so I shared my other fork with my husband so he could enjoy his dinner. My husband did not want me to complain because he gets embarrassed but I felt that it was important for you to know what happened to us so that it does not happen again.
Desired outcome: I would like our meal to be comped because it was ruined by the dirty silverware.
