food entree, lasagna
I recently dined at the Olive Garden ordering the lasagna. Not only was the lasagna not good, when I returned home I felt ill. I had taken what I was unable to finish home and tried it again the next day (giving the benefit of the doubt) at which time I still did not enjoy the taste and did not feel well after eating it.
I dine at the Olive Garden quit regularly as I love the soup, salad and breadsticks however for the price of the Olive Garden entrees I was very disappointed in my meal. I spent $23.45 on my meal and drink which I consider a total waste of my hard earned money and would consider a gesture of a refund or gift card acceptable.
zupa tuscana soup, boardman, ohio
My daughter and I went to lunch at the Boardman, Ohio location on 3/23/17 to celebrate her finding her wedding gown for her upcoming weddding. She got severe food poisoning from the soup and I got gastrointestinal upset because of the same soup. I have emailed them directly to make them aware of this situation, hoping that no one else suffers from this. We feel it was caused from the Kale.
smoking at entrance
It is state law that cigarette smoke must not "drift in doors or windows". There are people on several occasions, either sitting on the benches, or standing in front of the door smoking. NO SIGNAGE - Spoke to management now on 3 occasions; they said there is a sign on the back entrance (which is not the main entrance). The last time we went to pick up a take out order, an employee was smoking right in front of the door. When my husband said something, they seem to care less. One time the manager said "we try to pay attention". If their own employees are doing, why expect the customers to do any different.
I would like signs clearly stating the law on the front of the building where they can be clearly seen by those entering and leaving.
management
I work at Olive Garden in Manchester NH, and I have so many problems with one of the managers there. Kelley has been so unnecessarily rude and unprofessional to all of the workers recently. We have a host who works here that is deaf/hard of hearing and Kelley was so verbally abusive to her today for no reason what so ever. She made her cry and want to leave her job, and lately has been very rude to me also. If someone is upset over a death in the family she tells them to suck it up and do their job, and has no personable traits what so ever. Witnessing her verbally abusing the host really pushed me to my limits today, and then hearing her mock the host behind her back, knowing she can't hear her, made me sick. I cannot continue working in a place like this where the manager is so heartless and making everyone want to leave their job. I really would like it if she could at least get some kind of warning about this behavior so it can come to an end. It just doesn't make sense to me how someone who can gossip and mock people below her, is even manager in the first place. Its been happening way too much lately
I would recommend contacting the corporate office or human resources department.
restaurant employees and manager
While eating Sunday Feb. 19th me and my family went to eat. My son got sick after eating so I rushed him to the bathroom while running in the bathroom he couldn't hold it no longer. Mind you my son is only 7. He had a accident in the bathroom floor. Me being a clean person I cleaned up as much as possible and went and ask for a mop. During a server and manager there was looks that was disrespectful. Well the manager came in the bathroom and was starting to clean up she was very unfriendly and was acting like it was the worst thing ever happened like it was too high society for someone to get sick. I felt very uncomfortable and so while my family was still eating me and my 7 year old son went outside that's how mad and uncomfortable I was. When my mother went into the bathroom the manager was very rude and made the remark someone got sick and she has to clean it and my mother told the manager is it not normal for a CHILD to get sick. We love this place but we will not go back to those location. I will inform my friends and family hour you get treated if your child gets sick while eating. I have never been tested like this in 27 years that I have went to a fancy restaurant. Thanks for reading.
Thanks
manager jorge olive garden falls church
Rude and unprofessional, we are a very regular customer of olive garden, we get too many gift cards for our business and company customers, he refuse to combine two bonus card that other manager did in his olive garden location and other location too! We were so disappointed that we don't think so we go there again! This manager need to get trained how to have a better customer service
food and service
Arriving at 1600 hrs ordered 2 chicken parmesans. At 30 minutes asked how our order was doing, server stated it was on the way. I asked to see the manager, joseph rini came over and I informed him that we were now waiting 40 minutes and the salad served was limp and drenched in dressing also yellow in parts. At 44 minutes into the service the order arrived the chicken pharm was hard and over cooked. When the server asked how the food was I informed her of the issue she asked if I wanted to speak with the manager knowing that I had already spoken with him!
The manager never returned to ask how the meal was knowing full well that I have been a frequent visitor to olive gardens.
The comparison of west hartford to that of winfield there is no comparison.
If we ever go to olive garden it will be enfield or manchester never again to west hartford.
The service was not up to olive garden standards, asking when the food is going to be served, having to ask for an empty glass to be filled, not taking the initiative to have the manager find out what the issues are and to follow up.
We did not place another order for fear of waiting another 30 to 40 minutes with the same outcome.
The chicken parm and the spaghetti was sitting for the pasta was already dry on the outside.

Restaurant: Olive Garden # 1864, 3650 Rib Mountain Drive, Wausau, WI 54401
We ordered two takeout dinners (chicken alfredo fettucini) from the Wausau, WI Olive Garden. Toward the end of my husband eating his salad, he found what appeared to be a large piece of white lettuce. This turned out to be two plastic/vinyl/latex gloves rolled together. We contacted the manager of the store. She was polite and courteous and offered to refund our money, but informed us that they did not use plastic gloves, but only tongs in mixing the salad. My husband told her that we weren't looking for a refund or money, we just wanted the person responsible to be removed from food service. We aren't asking they be fired -- let them be a busboy/girl or some other worker. We have been eating at this local Olive Garden and at various Olive Garden restaurants in other states and have never had this problem before. We are adding pictures of the gloves and still have them. Please let us know what we should do, if anything.
margherita chicken and menu with unavailable course meals.
My wife and I were seated quickly on a very busy Saturday late afternoon in the Middleburg Heights, Ohio location today. We both ordered from the menu. I ordered the spaghetti and my wife ordered the garlic chicken with rosemary and mash potatoes. A few minutes later we were told the chicken was not available. I assumed the kitchen had run out. We reordered the Margherita Chicken on the waitresses recommendation. It was very bland and not what we expected. We frequently dine out at Olive Garden specifically for the garlic chicken. On further questioning we were told our favorite dish was dropped from the menu in spite of it being on the menu when we were served. The waitress informed the manager who told us it was her favorite also. I felt an adjustment on our bill (such as a refund on the chicken dish) was a proper response for a mediocre meal. The manager was not concerned about customer satisfaction but was "sorry". In summary : food was unappetizing, management made no attempt to resolve customer dissatisfaction, and outdated menu was provided by the restaurant.

food/server/a/c
My boyfriend and I came to Olive Garden for Valentine's Dinner. The main course was warm had to ask the server to heat the food, complained three times to the server that the A/C was too cold. Soup was also cold. The main dish - sauce was not good, did not have the taste of seafood. I am very disappointed - this was to be a special dinner and we left very upset.
poor service
Re: Amarillo, Texas location
Date of dining: 02/14/17
To Whom It May Concern:
Please let this letter serve as a consumer complaint from a very dissatisfied customer.
Last night, Valentine’s Day, my family and I chose to dine at Olive Garden in Amarillo, Texas. There were seven (7) of us in the family. Several things happened that have caused us to determine that we will never eat at an Olive Garden restaurant again. The following is an outline:
1. After we ordered, our server came to the table with a large tray full of bread plates, salad plates, cheese, and the large bowl of salad. As she was taking the bread plates and salad plates off the tray altogether (instead of making two or more stacks), she dropped all the plates on the floor breaking many of the plates and tipping the salad bowl over on the tray. Instead of getting a fresh salad bowl, she simply left the salad that spilled on the tray and gave us what was remaining in the bowl. She did, however, get us fresh plates.
2. We were all served our drinks initially; however, when our server did not come back to refill our drinks, I poured some of my tea into an empty wine glass on our table to that my daughter could have a drink. The server promptly came over to our table, informed us that “we could not do that” and started grabbing the wine glass as my daughter was taking a drink. My daughter, who is 21 years old, informed the server of her age thinking the server thought she was underage and told the server that it was tea in the glass not alcohol. The server physically took the glass out of my daughter’s hand as she had the glass to her lips and said “we cannot put anything but alcohol in the wine glasses.” This is totally unacceptable on the server’s part. If that is, in fact, a “rule” that Olive Garden has, then the server should have taken all the empty wine glasses off the table since we did not order any wine or any other alcoholic beverage.
3. Once we got our food orders, we found the pasta dishes to be very dry (i.e., having very little sauce). For the price of the food items at Olive Garden, there should be no skimping on the sauce to the point that we had a hard time telling if there was any sauce and the past was literally sticking together in clumps.
4. My father, an Army Veteran, asked our server if Olive Garden offered Military discounts. She said she didn’t know, said she would check, and never came back with an answer.
5. By the time we were ready for the check, we had to ask our server for it. She brought it to us and never returned. In fact, we had to ask another server passing by for 1 take-out box for the chicken parmigiana dish my father had. We waited at least 15 minutes for our server to come back to pay her. When we realized she wasn’t, we paid for the meal at the table on the kiosk and left.
All in all, the experience at Olive Garden last night was extremely disappointing and the food unsatisfactory. In the past, Olive Garden was a place where we would go to celebrate family birthdays and other special occasions. We have determined that we will find another restaurant for those events.
placing walk-in dinner orders ahead of carry-out orders to maximize profit.
Today, February 14, 2017, I ordered a carry-out from the Olive Garden store #1051 in Fort Myers Florida. The order was placed over the phone and I arrived later to pick up the food. I paid for the order at 5:19 PM and noted a long line for pick up orders yet the person taking the order said to arrive within fifteen minutes. It was clear after a half hour wait that there were problems completing carry out dinners and I asked to speak with the manager Mr. Mann. The manager’s response was that he could do nothing. I saw a ratio of twenty dine in orders for every one carry out order leave the kitchen. My order # 19142 was out from the kitchen at 6:29 PM a wait of one hour and ten minutes.
Olive Garden store #1051 chose to provide far better service for the higher profit sit down diners that may order appetizers and drinks then the less profitable carry out diners that order only meals. The final cost is that I waited longer for a meal and that I am serving Olive Garden this complaint report as my desert.
customer service
Let me start off by saying that this isn't the first time I've gotten bad service at this particular Olive Garden. The last time I went we were waiting for a while but that I understand. They sat us in the bar area because there wasn't space anywhere else. Then when our waiter comes around looking flustered and annoyed that he has to serve people. He took our order and when he brought us our salad/bread sticks he slams our plates down! Our food finally came and around 10 minutes pass and we needed refills on our drinks/salad/breadsticks and he is nowhere to be found. We had to flag someone down to get our refills. This second time around, my boyfriend and I visited the store on Sunday, 2/12/17 around 6pm as soon as we walk into the door the hostess takes one look at us and seems disgusted. I don't remember her name but she had dark hair with a braid to the side and red lipstick. I felt judged and discriminated against. Its like she took one look at us and figured that we were poor or that maybe we wouldn't tip much. If I couldnt afford to go out then why would I be there in the first place? The waiting time was only like 10 minutes and we finally got seated. She had a smirk on her face the whole time as she sat us in the middle where anyone and everyone will walk by and bump into us.(Which they did but I will get to that later) The waitress comes around and she took our order and we were waiting for 13 minutes before our drinks even arrived. Then I looked around and saw the same waitress bringing the soup/salad to two tables that were seated after us when we haven't even received ours yet. We finally got the salad but while she was talking to the table next to us she tries to hand me the breadsticks and salad to put on the table myself. I wish I could remember her name but she had no care or interest to serve us. We finally got our food and we were okay but when it came to getting more salad and breadsticks it was like I was asking her for so much. My boyfriend and I ordered the unlimited classics and we were satisfied with our first plates but when we asked for a refill (just one) on our Chicken Alfredo they were brought back in small bowls with hardly any chicken on them. It got to the point where the salad bowls had only enough for two servings and she was only bringing is two breadsticks. The portions were definitely getting smaller. I was getting frustrated because waiters were going by picking up tables and because we were sat right in the center the waiters on several occasions would hold the empty dishes and plates over my head as they walked by. I wish I would have complained but at the same time the crew seems like they would have covered up for each other. I dont understand why a business like Olive Garden would let their employees discriminate against customers and make them feel uncomfortable when in the end we are your business! I work in the food industry myself and I am the manager in my store. I would never let anything like that slide on my watch. Even on my worst days I never let it show. People ask why I am so happy all time when they come in and I always get compliments on how my customer service is always great. There are no excuses on why my boyfriend and I were mistreated.

bad service from waiter and manager
2/14/17 It was a busy valentines night and my husband and I were lucky that we didn't really had to wait very long cause we called ahead and we ended up getting a table in the bar area which was fine. We ordered our drinks and appetizer. While a waitress was cleaning up a booth beside us somehow a drink fell and splattered all over the floor and ME! The waitress and waiter were very nice and asking if I was ok, which I was but I was drenched! What infuriates me is the manager didn't even come over and check on me. I had to sit thru the whole dinner wet and didn't get offered anything for my troubles. Not a happy person right now!
toscana soup and my server alex
Went to eat with a friend. Pre valentine's friend lunch. We eat at olive garden every week. Went to your arlington texas location. #1368.. 4604 s. Cooper street arlington texas 76017... Ordered the tuscana soup and salad.. Once our food was served our server never once came to our table to see if we needed refills on drink or soup.. We just stopped him ever time he walked by to ask for what we wanted.. When we got seconds on the soup it wasn't white and creamy but deep brown and ugly.. I asked him why the soup was different, he said its the same just a different batch. I told him I have eaten this soup for years and never seen it brown. He said its the same, just a different batch. And walked away. Stopped eating at that point.. He brought a paper bill in the black book I put my debit card in there and we sat forever waiting for him to get our payment. He finally walked by us again so we stopped him and told him we were ready to pay.. He picked up the electronic payment kiosk tossed it at us and walked away.. Never to return.. No words spoken.. No thank you for coming.. No you can pay here.. No would you like dessert.. No would you like wine with dinner.. No conversation. Rudest waiter I have ever seen.. Will start going somewhere else each week.
Went to olive garden today for my girlfriend and we order food and waiter came to give us a taste of tiny french breads and we order chicken sandwich with french fried, mozzarella cheese and salad, I was so angry that resturant and waiter came to us ready to eat a chicken sandwich was so tiny like we ate tiny french breads and i open the bread they gave us two piece chicken like a Mc Donald's chicKEN NUGgets and it taste like crap and a big bowl of salad, So why did the gave me a Big bowl of salad and the salad is only a half a bowl i thought they should have fill up a big bowl of salad to share for us and i am so angry that i paid amount of $40 plus the tip, I am telling you that Olive Garden food are so nasty and it alike Mc Donald's, they will take so much money and give you less food and Olive Garden is not a real italian food, Sad and i will never go there ever again my Rating to Olive Garden is 0% ###, I will reported to million around to let people's know, Olive Garden are disgusting.
service
Me and my husband was at one of you locations in Beachwood Ohio we waited longer than we should have not that it wasn't any tables ready workers were just taking there time.once seated we waited another 20 minutes before we got a chance to order when we got our order because we complained about the wait they rushed out food witch was terrible. We had simple dishes shrimp Alfredo and stuffed mushrooms we eat there at least 3 times a month
environment, staff presentation
Wednesday, February 8 of 2017 travelling through Virginia - frightened by the more than 6 foot tall nearly bald man wearing a blue chef Olive Garden coat - apparently working for the Olive Garden. Man dressed as woman wearing heavy dangling ear rings enters LADIES rest room. Never going to stop there again. Blatantly obvious male dressed as woman. Unacceptable in a family restaurant.
You can thank the Democrats for that. The manager has no choice but to allow it by law. Show your feelings by never eating their again.
over all services
My daughter entered the restaurant first, followed by two of her friends and parked the car. When I came in she said there was a twenty minute wait. I said we'll wait. Then went to restroom. When I came out Two minutes later, I told we would be seated. As we were escorted to our table in the back, I noticed that the restaurant was only about 20% full. Now we must have looked like tough crowd because we had just been standing in the rain and snow waiting for the Patriots team to pass where we were standing for over 3 hours. The service was very good but the food was subpar. The soup tasted off as did the meat sauce. I live in western Mass and more than likely will never visit this place again. I was just put off by the fact that we were told we would have to wait 20 minutes for a restaurant that was only 20% full. I left a $15.00 tip for a $60.00 bill. Semper Fi thank you
