service/food
It took 20 min for a waiter to ask about drinks, another 10 to get drinks, 15 to place order, over 40 min to get salad, soups, then my soup had plastic in it. Manager said it happens. So I canceled my food, my family loves Olive Garden, our Christmas tradition to go eat there before shopping and now I will not go back. I just thought it took to long and was very disgusted by the plastic in my soup.
food
In Knoxville, TN Turkey Creek area-- we love Olive Garden. But last Friday night we had terrible food. We were kind of shocked ☹️ We ordered the 5 cheese ziti and it came out with a crusty top on it. We found it odd since we order it almost every time we eat there. Then biting into it was luke warm. So now we know why it had a crust on it. It got thrown in the oven in an attempt to warm it up. Then the noodles were not even close to done or al e Dante. Hopefully this is a 1 time experience.
Your guess is wrong... but thanks for your dick of an attitude reply. This is a complaints board right? You have nothing better to do with your life than to be like this? Ugly person!
service at olive garden warrensville ohio
I ordered my meal online yesterday. They gave me the time of 4:30pm for pick up. I went to the restaurant to pick up. The guy at the front finally asked if I was there for pickup after me standing there for 5 minutes. While all the staff hugs a woman and man I assume they knew. The woman went into the kitchen with street clothes on and was talking and hugging all the staff. After that was finally over I was able to let the hostess know my order I told him he called it on the microphone. After waiting 15 more minutes I went back up to the desk. The lady checked and told me I had no order. I was upset then after waiting all this time. The general manager Steven came out and told me the same thing. They were very rude never tried to check further into it. Basically just sent me on my way with no food after I had waited all this time with my daughter. I was very upset the manager said it was nothing he could do and it was my fault I must not have ordered right. I saw a confirmation number appear after I ordered. I also put my card in the computer and it was charged 16.12 for something I never received. I had to then reorder and drive all the way to Parmatown Olive Garden with my hungry daughter. I called the restaurant about the charges and was able to speak with a nice manager Kelsey he looked up the charges but couldn't find it in the computer. He told me I have to bring in a printout from my bank showing the charges. I am very upset with experience at this restaurant in Warrensville, Ohio. I order often off line from other locations and never have this problem. My friend told me the same thing happen to her at this location. I would like to speak with someone concerning this. I will never ever go to this location again and I advise others not to. They were all rude and had no customer service skills.
label in food
I ate at Olive Garden at Ashley Park in Newnan, GA. Our waiter was extremely friendly and very nice. It took us quite a while to get our salad. We got our food after about a 20 minute wait. I didn't finish my food so i got a to go box and brought it home. As I was eating my left overs I found a label in the bottom that said "use by Monday" not something in wanted in my food..
food sickness
Today on Dec. 30th, 2016 my wife and I had a lunch date at the Olive Garden in centereach NY. Everything was great service wise and the food was good as well, I didn't finish the food cause I felt unusually full, but not more than 10 minutes after we left we were at Walmart and I had to run to the bathroom to throw up. I threw up about 7 times and had stomach pains for the next few hours. Since that food was the only thing I ate all day I know it was the food from the Olive Garden that got me sick. I'm requesting a refund of the $72.46 as compensation for me getting sick which I think is more than fair. Thank you
order placed online was not ready
Hello I am upset because I work as a nurse and lunch can be hectic to have at times so I placed an order today online for the Olive Garden picked my time and when I got to the place to pick up my order the hostess looked in the system and said it didn't go through. I had driven all the way there to pick up my meal and couldn't not wait for them to start fixing it when I got there. I don't understand why this quick service is available to use and when you get there it isn't even useful to the consumer. I was very upset and didn't even have time to go somewhere else to get lunch. I won't be doing this again.
got ranch dressing spilled on me by a waitress
Hello, yesterday 12/26/16, my mother in law and I had lunch at your restaurant in horseheads NY. Everything was great, service, lunch, appetizers all of it wonderful! So my complaint is when we were almost done, a waitress behind me had just cleaned off a table and had a tray of dirty plates and things...Well it got dropped and I felt ranch dressing hit my back. I had a brand new sweatshirt on that I had got for Christmas from my husband. It is a Victoria's secret hoodie...IE very pricey! Although everyone apologized and asked if I was OK...No one offered a discount or gift card or anything. I have worked in the restaurant business and I know when an employee makes a mistake like this, it's just that a mistake, but I also know, you offer the customer something to apologize or co.e back. As well established as your restaurant is, I'm highly disappointed I was not offered something as I walked away with a brand new hoodie ruined...Thank you for reading this and I hope to hear something back.
Geezus. Ranch does not stain. Wipe it off with a wet towel then wash normally. Bam problem solved. What is wrong with people. Accidents happen. Clothes are nothing but a material possession. If it came down to it your life would mean more than that damn sweater. Stop being so damn greedy and start being more grateful/thankful.
long wait, terrible food, bad service
Good Morning,
Yesterday 12/26/16 my husbands family and ours went out to enjoy a meal at Olive Garden. When we arrive they had told us wait time was 25 min, we didn't get a table until 45 min passed and we had to ask. We saw people that had just arrived being seated before us. Once we were seated we started to order with the drinks then our food. We then had to wait literally an hour and 20 min for our food to be served to us. And that's only because my husband went to ask. The waitresses did not go check un us. And the only times they went was to take the bowl where my soup was served away. Without offering or asking if we wanted some more while we waited for our meal. We had to stop a different server to get some more soup. Our food finally arrived. My husband and brother in law had order a stake that had some shrimp on the side with some square stuffed pasta. The meat was so hard with no flavor whatsoever. I ordered shrimp alfredo and paid extra to have chicken added on the side. $3.26 for the chicken. All i got was 3 small tiny strips of chicken with 6 pieces of shrimp. The medium size shrimp. This dish always comes with a lot of the small shrimp the one that's already fully peel. I asked the waitress about it she said she had no idea if maybe they had changed the shrimp they used. Which in my opinion she should be inform to let customers know of any changes before they order. My dish cost me $25 and it was mostly just pasta. It was a really bad experience that we had. We get it they were busy but I paid full price for my dishes. Why was I getting way smaller portions then usual? So that it will last them longer for all the customers coming in? Then in that case my meal should of cost less because I was receiving less. The Olive Garden we went to was at 3650 Tyler St. In the city of Riverside CA 92503. Thank You
extremely slow service, confused waitresses
Kind of weird experience at Olive Garden in Huntington Beach. First, we were seated and forgotten for about 20 minutes. When we asked for help the waitresses could not figure out which waitress was supposed to wait on us and they discussed this right in front of us. They finally just took our order. We got our soup and salad in a few minutes. About 15 minutes later we were asked if we ordered entrees and I said we did, they checked to see if the order was placed and it was. About 10 minutes later our entrees arrived, so I took 45 minutes to finally get our dinner. The food was good, but the lack of any somewhat speedy service left a sour taste with us. We are regular diners at Olive Garden in Huntington Beach and this was really bad.
service
We visited the Olive Garden on Peach Street in Erie, Pa on Friday Dec. 23 2016. We called at 3:30 asking what the wait time was and were told "no wait time, but that could change at any moment". We arrived at 3:40 and waited less than 5 minutes, which was great, because we had to be at a church service at 5:00 pm. After waiting over 15 min. and never seeing a waitress to take our drink orders etc, I stopped a passing girl asking if she could send a waitress to our table, still no waitress but a hostess took our drink order and said that she would send our waitress over. We explained to the waitress that we had waited almost a half hour and had to be at a church service at 5:00pm, we received our food at approx. 4:30. I ordered a cup of coffee and attached is a picture the cup of coffee that I received, which I thought was totally unacceptable. My daughter works at Starbucks and said that she would have never served a this cup of coffee to a customer. I pointed it out to the waitress and she said that she would replace it, but after waiting 10 minutes, when she did walk by I just told her to take it off of my bill as I wasn't in the mood for coffee anymore. This is not a complaint about the food but the service was lousy and the coffee was not something that I should have received. Overall, this was a very disappointing dining experience at your restaurant.

bad food
Garden last month could not believe that you have to pay separate for your me $4.99 I just feel like that's not fair if the meal is $10 why would I pay an extra $5 for meat when it should be all included in the meal if it says chicken alfredo it should be chicken alfredo with the chicken but you have to pay separate for the chicken I don't feel like that's fair. You need to have your waitresses notify the people ahead of time that they are being charged extra for their meat that is totally unfair that you people do that to the customers I will never ever step foot in your Olive Garden's ever again I feel that you guys are ripping people off and you are very unfair to people
salads
I was charged $17. 27 for one unlimited bowl of salad. I couldn't believe I was charged 5.99 a piece for three salads. We only ordered one and no seconds. We ordered the appetizer platter for $11.99 and had bread sticks and one ice tea. I couldn't believe they charged me that much for one salad as they didn't bring us the two salads they billed me for. What is wrong with this picture? Do you think this is fair? I am a senior citizen with a fixed income and with the tip for our waitress, it was about $49.99. I won't return to olive garden, wished I had gone to Longhorn bet I could have got more for my money. Olive garden is now off my places to eat. Iam in shock.
service
Headed out to the local Olive Garden( Ontario, Ohio) location for dinner last night after the High School Basketball game-Party of 7. Upon entering the restaurant at approx-9:27 pm-closing time-10:00pm we were told that we probably would'nt be able to be seated as the restaurant had sent most of the bus boys home and they would'nt be able to clear a table in time. The place had at most 6-7 patrons in the entire place and there were MANY tables open. Left and went across the street to the Texas Roadhouse and enjoyed a very nice dinner- about a 175+dinner tab and left a 40.00 tip. Never have I heard of a restaurant turn down customers in the manner that your place did ! I will certainly be sharing our experience with as many people as possible and would strongly urge you to look into the procedures and people you have in place at this specific restaurant. Sincerly, M.J.Wolf [protected]
restaurant temperature and food handling
I recently visited my local Olive Garden on December 13, 2016 where I visit often and was very displeased with my visit. On this day my sister and I arrived and we're seated promptly upon being seated we noticed the area was freezing we alerted our waiter who said he would handle it ... It took three different request before it was done ... My next issue was that every waiter or bartender staff member who made drinks that included lemon used there bare hands to pickup the lemons... I myself ordered water with lemon and returned it because of what I witnessed...I have never left this Olive Garden unhappy until this day.
cleanliness of the restaurant and the poor quality of the food
On December 17 I took my wife to The Olive Garden in Huntsville, AL on University Drive. My wife ordered steak and lobster ravioli. My wife is from Norway, worked in the fishing industry and told me, and the manager that their lobster Ravioli was nothing like lobster, and tasted purely fishy. Myself, I ordered the fettucini, which I make better fettucini at home. In addition, and sadly, the bathrooms, both men and women's were completely filthy, as was the restaurant floor. There was food on the floor, papers, straw wrappers etc the entire time of our visit. The manager tried to make it better by taking my wife's dessert off of the bill, which was nice of the manager, but to be perfectly honest, I have bern to the Olive Garden many times before, and this was the worst experience I have ever had there. My wife just arrived from Norway and I told her how wonderful The Olive Garden is, but this visit made me look like I don't know what a decent restaurant is. We were both sorely disappointed and I seriously doubt I would return to this restaurant, especially considering that The Olive Garden is not really that inexpensive, I would expect the food to be good quality and to eat in a clean restaurant. Also, our server, a young girl, gave us excellent service and it was not her fault thast the food was poor quality or thast the restaurant was dirty and unkept.
service at the gateway mall in brooklyn
We went to Olive Garden to celebrate the fact that we were going to adopt or foster children. We went with three little boys and were seated. No one ever came to Service us as we waited 25 minutes .I think it's because we had the 3 kids with us.everyone else was being serviced and came afterwards and had no children, so we had to pack up our kids and leave.
service
My husband and I are on vacation in Williamsburg VA. We went to the Olive Garden for a late lunch on Sunday December 19. We sat at table 24 our server was Robert R. The total for our meal was $51.34. The server was over whelmed with work. We tipped him accordingly for his hard work. It seems there were not enough servers working. We ordered dipping sauce for our bread sticks, when we had only two bread sticks left, we received our sauce (after reminding our server more than once). Our food came out after a long wait? It was evident our meals were sitting out for awhile when we got them. We were asked if we wanted cheese, the young man (not our waiter) had an empty cheese dispenser. He never came back with the cheese or the extra bread sticks we requested. By that time we just wanted to go back to our hotel. We have never been unhappy with the food or service at Olive Garden, until yesterday. It's a managers screw up, not the staff. Thank you.
service
on 12/18/16 my husband and I went to Olive Garden, at 801 East EXPWY 83, Weslaco, TX for lunch. It was a Sunday and it was noon, however being a past food service manager, that should not make any difference in service given. We were seated right away and then waited 20 minutes for someone to take our drink order while others were being seated around us and being waited on. My husband asked the waitress at the table next to us if anyone was working our table. She asked if no one had taken our drink order we replied no she appolized and left after another few minutes the manager came and took our drink order and disappeared. in a few minutes a waiter came and ask if we wanted to order our drinks. we told him we already had. he left then the waitress from the beginning came back and asked what we would like to drink...the problem here? no communication...so now here's the manager back with our drinks and the waiter shows back up and I have to tell him we are ready to order our food. He takes our order, then when he brings the salad it was barely enough for one must less two. no croutons, 2 olives, really? ok so the rest of the meal comes out my husband had ordered unlimited soup and salad! he got no soup spoon I had to get up and go ask manager for the spoon. He was never asked if he wanted refill on soup. when it came time to pay the kiosk was pointed to by the waiter and then he disappeared again. The Kiosk didn't work so now we wait another 10 minutes to pay our bill. Absolutely ridiculous! We spent $21.73
code of misconduct being violated where do I turn to have it looked into?
My fiance, has worked at olive garden for over 8 years, i'm that time she has mastered all the procedures and ran every station. This fall she was told by the kitchen manager jenny of the heath ohio store that, she was going to train in to go's this winter and know how to do that as well. I'm the course of the past couple of months, her and a few other kitchen cooks have noticed an intimate affair going on between a cook named gabe and the kitchen manager jenny. They're constantly flirting and falling all over each other at work, and now they are doing the to-go's together and mariah was never told differently. I'm the past few weeks she has gone from a well liked and respected kitchen staff to a neglected and mistreated employee to the terms of two weeks before xmas she goes from 35+ hrs a week to, 15... ? I have clearly read the employee handbook and ut, states no manager shall have any type of personal relationship with, any other, employee, and not only is this going on, but it's affecting my fiancees job in terms of hours, treatment, and overall well being. I looked on google for over an hour searching for where employees are to send their complaints to, corporate to have it investigated. This is pertaining to the heath ohio store and it's involoving jenny the kitchen manager and gabe a kitchen employee... If I hear nothing in the next few days in this, i'll forward it to the ceo. Someone has got to look into this and get it taken care of. The manager is, clearly neglecting company policy and i'm the meantime taking down a very, good and dependable employee in the process. Please someone get back to me on this soon and have it, quietly investigated. Thank you for your time...
general manager of west edmonton location
The General Manager Lawerence Hugill:
I was a patron at olive garden in edmonton for over 30 years but my experience on December 16, 2016 changed everything, i will no longer visit your restaurant because of this incident: I ordered three caesar's within just over 1 hour with once of vodka in each drink and then suddenly i was cut off by the manager. My server told me that i had consumed too much alcohol in such a short time and have been restricted anymore at this time. My daughter has her pro serve and as long as i was not showing signs of intoxication and also i was eating i should not have been prohibited from drinking. She told me that a person can consume a martini with two ounces of alcohol as well as a beer at the same time according to our laws. I asked to speak to the manager and he agreed that he cut me off and said that i had already had six ounces, i told him he was wrong i only had three and he apologized for that mistake. i then said you have restricted my alcohol intake and he said no, but was lying. i don't understand the power trip that he was on and had never had an issue like this in the past. i really love the food but i don't think that i should be treated that way, i was not driving . i hope that you investigate this further, her is my name and email Nicole [protected]@hotmail.com i would like a refund for my terrible service and an apology from this manager.
