Do not recommend very unprofessional
I don't recommend. I was a long time participant in a membership but lost my employment. I ended my subscription. Months later the money is coming back out of my account and my profile is updated. I didn't do this, I was hacked. I reached out to support for the subscription that I did not authorize to be canceled and asked for a refund. I can't help others when I'm not working and need help myself. They promptly responded that the subscription was canceled but mentioned nothing about my request for a refund. I kept reaching out and got two very delayed responses each saying my subscription was canceled but they have completed disregarded my request for a refund. They completely ignore that. I have emailed support on 12 different occasions now and have gotten no response. This company is a rip off. They scam people. They have TERRIBLE customer service. All they care about is getting their money but refuse to be professional and make things right when things go wrong. To anyone who wins good for you but to those of us who didn't have it to give and gave anyway, if something happens and they get unauthorized funds they will keep it and flat-out do not care about your lively hood. Obviously they don't believe in helping like they say they do. Actions speak louder than words. I'll never give to this company again. I'd rather give elsewhere to companies who listen to and care about their donors.
I also, just like the other reviews, have tried to cancel my account without success
I also, just like the other reviews, have tried to cancel my account without success. I have emailed several times and haven't received any response back. It seems like these folks are really dishonest.
I tried to cancel my recurring payments online, but I couldn't find an option in my account
I tried to cancel my recurring payments online, but I couldn't find an option in my account. I called them, but no one answered. I also tried to contact them via email, but I didn't get any response. It's really frustrating and makes me suspicious. I have a feeling that there might be some negative news about them in the near future.
They don't let you cancel your subscription yourself
They don't let you cancel your subscription yourself. They say on their website that you have to contact customer service to make any changes to your account. I've emailed many times and contacted them on different platforms, but they just deleted my comments...
I tried to cancel my subscription many times
I tried to cancel my subscription many times. I got a notice yesterday about another withdrawal from my PayPal account. Once you read the rules, you won't want to join. They make you wait 30 years to get any cash prize. Save your money and find another way to donate to a charity.
One Country is not clear about what this program is and how your payments are used, including recurring payments
One Country is not clear about what this program is and how your payments are used, including recurring payments. They take payments even though they put you in an inactive status. You have to renew your status by starting new payments to get back on the app and look for phone numbers. I closed the app and decided to search elsewhere instead of paying more money.
I signed up for their $10/month monthly contest entry membership
I signed up for their $10/month monthly contest entry membership. Now I'm tryin' to cancel. According to their website, all ya gotta do is send 'em an email to cancel. I've sent 'em emails a buncha times. Finally, they replied sayin' they can't find my account. Right now, I'm logged into my online account and I still see 'em takin' out $10/month. This company is a total scam.
Don't bother with ONECOUNTRY
Don't bother with ONECOUNTRY. I've been trying to cancel my subscription, but after 3 tries, they told me to complain. They don't answer emails. ComplaintsBoard.com said to complain, so I'm going to the bank to stop them from taking more money. I thought they were a good company to support, but now I've changed my mind. It's been a nightmare trying to get any response, and I haven't gotten any acknowledgment.
This website, One Country, is a total scam!
This website, One Country, is a total scam! They keep taking my money and won't cancel my subscription, even though they claim they already did. I thought I was only making one payment, but they've charged me three times now :( It's really disappointing to see that some of our favorite artists are promoting this company on social media. They don't provide any transparency about how they conduct their "drawings," and their CEO reportedly made a whopping 19 million dollars last year. Meanwhile, the artists who film promos for this company are getting paid, while we're being robbed. If you're looking to waste your money and end up having to change your card number, then go ahead and sign up with "One Country."
This is the worst scam ever!
This is the worst scam ever! I totally agree with the comments below. I tried for 2 weeks to contact them and cancel my membership, but no one responded. I used the online contact form 3 times and emailed them directly at their support email. I even replied to their constant emails, but still no response from anyone! It's so frustrating. They take your money quickly and then disappear. Do they even give anything away? Who knows! Finally, I got a response using their online chat, but they claimed they had no record of my previous attempts to contact them. When I asked for a refund for the last charge, they said all sales were final and basically told me to go away. Don't give these scammers any money!
One Country is a company that seems to be involved in some shady business
One Country is a company that seems to be involved in some shady business. They claim to support veteran charities and have B-rated celebrities on board, making themselves out to be a wonderful group of people doing good things. However, it's all a façade. They use misleading advertisements to trick people into signing up for monthly payments.
Their ads for a cabin giveaway make it seem like someone will win a property along with 60 acres of land. But if you read the fine print in their rules, you'll see that they only offer a lease option. Alternatively, they offer a 1 million dollar prize paid out over 30 years. That's roughly $1500 a month for 30 years, after they themselves have made millions.
The most concerning part is that they don't use a third party to select winners. They do it themselves, in-house! This means they can disqualify any winner who has contributed money for any reason they want. It's clear that this whole thing is a scam. I was fooled for 2 months when I became a member, until I finally read the actual rules. My advice: don't give them your money!
I think I got scammed too
I think I got scammed too. I read the double talking rules that would confuse even two lawyers. I should have closed the website when I tried to register. The screen went blank and then it told me to sign in, but said my password didn't match, even though it said my account was successfully registered. I registered again and this time it worked. I decided to try a one-time play for $50.00, hoping to win a small prize, if any. The number of entries for just $50.00 seemed promising, but I can't remember how many prizes the entries went to. I received an email 1-2 weeks later saying my entry would be added on March 30th, so I thought I was too late for the current contest. But they already took my money and now I see they charged me again through PayPal as a recurring payment. This is not what I signed up for!
I bought tickets for a sweepstakes in January 2023, thinking it was a one-time thing
I bought tickets for a sweepstakes in January 2023, thinking it was a one-time thing. I remember seeing something about automatic payments when I bought the tickets, and I wouldn't have agreed to that. I don't like recurring automatic payments, especially for raffle tickets, so I wouldn't have consented to this from a business. Why would I agree to monthly automatic sweepstakes payments without knowing what the future prizes would be? There's definitely some trickery going on here. Today, I logged into my bank and found out that OC MEDIA HOLDINGS LLC has been taking $75 from my credit card every month since January. I called the phone number right away, but it was just an automated message and the voicemail was full and couldn't take any more messages. Legitimate businesses don't have full voicemails that can't accept messages. So, I called my bank to report the fraudulent charges, but unfortunately, I had to cancel my credit card. What a hassle! It's unbelievable that organizations like this can legally operate despite their deceptive marketing and money-making tactics. This business really needs to be audited by the FTC Bureau of Consumer Protection.

Cancellation
I subscribed to One Country Giveaways a while back. I’ve decided to cancel my membership and I have reached out via email several times with no response. I have called the one number I can fine and left messages with no response. They make it easy to sign up but will not cancel your membership. Do not sign up for this! No one calls or emails you back. They have zero customer service and clearly DO NOT care about their customers. I will let everyone I know not to sign up for this. Terrible business.
Desired outcome: Cancel my subscription and stop charging me!

I paid to put entries in a giveaway. I was unaware this was a subscription. I was charged on my paypal account the next month and I sent an email asking that my membership be cancelled. It was not. I sent another email in June asking that my membership be cancelled. It was not. I am still be charged to my paypal account as of this month and reached out again to cancel and ask for a refund. The two people I have chatted with refuse a refund even after I sent a screen shot of the request to cancel. I have sent an email to [protected]@onecountry stating my intent to file a complaint with the BBB and to put the ordeal on all forms of social media. No resolution thus far. Very dissappointed in the company
Desired outcome: I want a refund and my membership cancelled.
Sorry to learn of your plight. Stop calling OC. Start reading below. Wishing you all the best!
A) Free yourself from this company. Log into your PayPal account to deactivate OC. PayPal will decline future attempts. Next, reject calls (Block) or *emails (mark as Spam) from OC.
B) If they leave a voicemail SAVE it but, do not return the call.
C) File a complaint with the FTC for FRAUD. Document the $$$ amount of your loss.
* Blocked emails will go into SPAM. Create a Fraud folder on your PC. File all Blocked
emails for future use.
Note: The company doesn't want to suffer a "chargeback." Getting your money
back is why you file with the FTC. The company's unwillingness to negotiate an
amicable settlement/solution is clear.
I bought 6000 tickets for a sweepstakes to win a motorhome on 1/27/23 for $150
I bought 6000 tickets for a sweepstakes to win a motorhome on 1/27/23 for $150. However, they never gave me the tickets I bought. I reached out to them many times, asking for a refund of my $150 or the 6000 sweepstakes entries I purchased, but they refused to do either. I've already shown them proof of the credit card purchase multiple times, so I won't upload it again for this complaint.
Karli,
Once you cut off their access to your funds you'll likely hear from OC. Take steps outlined elsewhere on this forum to begin recovering your money and sense of safety. Wishing you the best.
For the last year I’ve emailed and begged for a cancellation of my membership because I’m a struggling single mother and can’t afford to help like I intended . Not once out of 8 attempts at contacting this company has anyone returned or responded my emails. They do however continue to charge my card monthly
