Stupid me, I responded to one of the "free computer" ads, and of approx. 150 ads available, I selected On Lingo and another.
On Lingo sent me a disc of $4.95 plus $1.oo shipping. Imagine my surprise when my credit card should a billing of $84.75 from their company.
In calling to protest, it two weeks of calling to finally get through. They said they had already shipped other discs and I was basically SOL even though I said I was not interested, did not want the program and wanted my money back. It's not "their" problem who runs the adverstisement or that it's a rip off. I have sent this to the Better Business and my attorney and finally my " I should have known better" file.
I'm posting this is as a warning and suggest we all BOYCOTT on lingo products. Beleive it or not, I actually do know people all over the world.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I have tried to reach this company many times with 3 phone numbers. They always answer and then tell you about how good their product is. After holding on the line for six minutes they disconnect you. Woops got a real person and he said that HE WOULD CANCEL ME OUT! And I was not bright enough to get his name.
Purchased a Spanish language course for which I paid the shipping / handling. I have now been billed 79.00 for some dumb subscription. Cannot reach anyone except the machine at their office. This is a scam where they get your credit card and then bill you for something you never ordered.
I have received a cd pack in the mail onlingo. I didn't order this and don't want it. there are no instructions to return it or if they have some how charged me. It's a mystery to me and an online scam.

I can't reach anyone to cancel my subscription. I tried calling the same day that I received it.
Have been trying to locate company so I can return the 2 unopened CD packages. I only want the free one.

Browsing internet and onlingo pop-up appeared. I did not realize that I was ordering the language tapes. I continue to get recurring shipment of tapes and charges. Beware people!

I never received my CD but I was charged anyway. I would like to cancel the subscription and be reimbursed for the charge.
I can't reach anyone to cancel my subscription due to a lack of info at onlingo.com. This is obviously a dishonest company.

You are allowed to cancel after 14 days by calling, but you cannot get through and are then charged full price!
Ordered one disk to "sample" product for survey and got charged $70 twice on my credit card, started receiving disks and could not cancel, can't contact company.
Horrible customer service, reps cut you off when you're talking(happened more than once with more than one CSR), they charged my card after I had told them not to, then they told me that I wouldn't be able to return the CDs since I was disputing the charge. I just hope they don't charge my card any more(I got my money back, btw, with force).
Can not find a number to cancel subscription, they just keep sending them and I keep refusing them but I'm being charged for them. There is no email or any thing not even on my statement
they said they send the first disk out for $7.00 to see if you liked it. then they hit my card for two charges of $100 each before I even received the discs.

I have asked that orders of the Onlingo Spanish CD be canceled. This was done per telephone and e-mail. I will not continue to return them or pay for them when I made it known to the company that I wanted the program to be cancelled
This ONLINGO people have been charging me for over 3 mothns now...I do not even know who they are.

Faulty advertisement. Website offers free trial, then a cheap subscription if trial is not cancelled. It turns out that the "cheap" subscription cost is per lesson, not for the entire series as the website implies. Also, the company can not be reached to cancel the subscription. I have a stack of unopened lessons I would like to return. I want my money back!
The same thing happened to me today. I was offered the trial French disc and only had to pay the $7 for shipping. Next thing I know, there's a HUGE mysterious charge on my card. From reading all of the other comments on here, Onlingo is a scam and this "company" should be sued for every penny they stole from us.

I cannot get through on your phone line to cancel this order. I can't keep paying for this but the only way to cancel is to get a verification number. You do not answer your calls to get the number. I want to cancel this unauthorized service.
you can cancel... call the number provided with the product/on the website. you didn't sign up for a sample... it's a full kit you can try for a limited time. read the terms and conditions that you CHECK when you order.

I had no problem cancelling my account, Called... the rep was friendly, she tried a last minute hard sell and cancelled my account.
No I don't work for Onlingo, No I don't care either way...just sounds like you just got lost in the mix.

I was given a phone number to end this offer within 7 days but there is no one answering the phone to stop the offer. They continue to charge my account
I Hve just signed up fpr the free trial and want to cancel. My bank just called me to verify that i am the one to make the 6.95 purchase. They gave me [protected] as a contact number for them from thier record. I am calling them right now.

First I order to get ahead in spanish then I get charged every single week. I am now totally broke and I have no money to use for school. I HATE YOU ONLINGO!
