Stupid me, I responded to one of the "free computer" ads, and of approx. 150 ads available, I selected On Lingo and another.
On Lingo sent me a disc of $4.95 plus $1.oo shipping. Imagine my surprise when my credit card should a billing of $84.75 from their company.
In calling to protest, it two weeks of calling to finally get through. They said they had already shipped other discs and I was basically SOL even though I said I was not interested, did not want the program and wanted my money back. It's not "their" problem who runs the adverstisement or that it's a rip off. I have sent this to the Better Business and my attorney and finally my " I should have known better" file.
I'm posting this is as a warning and suggest we all BOYCOTT on lingo products. Beleive it or not, I actually do know people all over the world.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I have tried to reach this company many times with 3 phone numbers. They always answer and then tell you about how good their product is. After holding on the line for six minutes they disconnect you. Woops got a real person and he said that HE WOULD CANCEL ME OUT! And I was not bright enough to get his name.
Here is the cancelation # for onlingo [protected]. Do a online search for "cancel onlingo".
Go to one of the syndero.com websites. This is where the # is. I just canceled today. I still have to pay the shipping to and from. But they are supposed to email directions on how to mail it back, and give me 30 days to do it. I hope this was helpful.
they sent me something i never ordered for and later charged it on me from my mum's account.i once bought onlingo french lesson volume 1 from them but i never made agreement with them to send me the next volume but they've brought it and charged it on me.please i don't need the volume two and i also want my money back.please help me
this is my email jackbaff@yahoo.com
Exceedingly difficult to terminate the delivery of their product. They just keep sending and charging my account, even though I have requested that they stop.
Bought a trial lesson to learn spanish for $6.95 on Dec 22 through movie ticket promotion online. Received cd 1 week later. Did not open package. Was charged $79.95 Jan. 11. Called company and asked for refund of $79.95 on Jan. 12 Onlingo refused refund due to company policy of 14 day trial with no refund. i was never notified of the trial period policy.

i was informed this was a one time purchase, They took their fee from my bank account, and I get the ONE and only one I purchased. today I went on line to check my bank account only to find out that they took out over 75.00 dollars ..I did not agree to this ..they addvertise only one dvd, and if you want more you can order them..and a one time withdrawl.now I cann't even get in touch with them ...
I answered an add for a sample of their language tapes, for $6.95. My credit card was charged for the $6.95 and then I received charges of 70.00 and 80.00 each month. I never authorized any additional charges or purchased any of their materials after my initial purchase.
Faulty advertisement. Website offers free trial, then a cheap subscription if trial is not cancelled. It turns out that the "cheap" subscription cost is per lesson, not for the entire series as the website implies. Also, the company can not be reached to cancel the subscription. I have a stack of unopened lessons I would like to return. I want my money back!
they said they send the first disk out for $7.00 to see if you liked it. then they hit my card for two charges of $100 each before I even received the discs.
Horrible customer service, reps cut you off when you're talking(happened more than once with more than one CSR), they charged my card after I had told them not to, then they told me that I wouldn't be able to return the CDs since I was disputing the charge. I just hope they don't charge my card any more(I got my money back, btw, with force).
Browsing internet and onlingo pop-up appeared. I did not realize that I was ordering the language tapes. I continue to get recurring shipment of tapes and charges. Beware people!
A FEW MONTHS AGO ORDERED 1 ( ONE ) CD ON SPANISH ( OR SO I THOUGH ) NOW HAVE RECIEVED #5 i DO NOT WISH TO KEEP GETTING THE ONLINGE CD'S. HOW DO I STOP THE ORDER OR DO I RUN OUT OF MONEY FIRST.. jACK tHOMPSON.
Have been trying to locate company so I can return the 2 unopened CD packages. I only want the free one.
I can't reach anyone to cancel my subscription. I tried calling the same day that I received it.
Onlingo offered a language course for $9.95 advertising you could learn any language in just ten days. I ordered Spanish and saw that it was basic and easy to understand. Later I received another package (unordered) of further Spanish with a later charge to my credit card (unauthorized) for $64.00.
I received an "ONLINGO SPANISH" cd. I then find that I have been billed $79.99 for this "trial offer"...there is no customer service representative to contact and this is ridiculous. Help needed!
I asked them to cancel as I have not opened the first 2 DVD's I returned the third one back to the shipping company. This was done early May 2011, in the amount of $89, 00. I have a phone # for them its [protected], Thank You
SENT PRODUCT BACK AND THEY WON'T REFUND ME
THEY SAIDE I SENT IT BACK TOO LATE
THEY ARE KEEPING THE RETURN AND TAKING MY $79.95 AND KEEPING IT
I called to cancel my subscription to Onlingo and was told I would receive an email telling me how to return the CD but I never received it and I'm sure I will be charged.
I want this company to stop debiting my credit card account for these online self taught Spanish CD's. They keep charging me for cd's that I did not request.
Someone please help me!

Onlingo tried to charge my debit card before I got my kit. Then the week I recieved the kit my card was charged before the 7 day trail period.
i did not order this program. it states onlingo spanish level one. a complete language immersion program. they will not answer calls or emails.what can i do?
First I order to get ahead in spanish then I get charged every single week. I am now totally broke and I have no money to use for school. I HATE YOU ONLINGO!
I Hve just signed up fpr the free trial and want to cancel. My bank just called me to verify that i am the one to make the 6.95 purchase. They gave me [protected] as a contact number for them from thier record. I am calling them right now.
I was given a phone number to end this offer within 7 days but there is no one answering the phone to stop the offer. They continue to charge my account
I cannot get through on your phone line to cancel this order. I can't keep paying for this but the only way to cancel is to get a verification number. You do not answer your calls to get the number. I want to cancel this unauthorized service.
I continue to get DVD from Onlingo -
I cannot stop it since there is no return address and no phone number. What should I do?
ONLINGO IS A TERRIBLE PRODUCT. $79.00 + 6.00 MISC CHARGES. NO PHONE NUNBER FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE OR AN ADDRESS TO CONTACT THEM. PLEASE BEWARE THIS MAY BE A HUGE SCAM !
will not stop shipment and keep getting billed for it.Want my money back. Will return product as soon as this is
resolved. thank you
Returned trial CD for learning Spanish. Credit card charged more than course was supposed to cost even. SCAM. No way to contact company by phone.
Can not find a number to cancel subscription, they just keep sending them and I keep refusing them but I'm being charged for them. There is no email or any thing not even on my statement
Ordered one disk to "sample" product for survey and got charged $70 twice on my credit card, started receiving disks and could not cancel, can't contact company.
You are allowed to cancel after 14 days by calling, but you cannot get through and are then charged full price!
Purchased a Spanish language course for which I paid the shipping / handling. I have now been billed 79.00 for some dumb subscription. Cannot reach anyone except the machine at their office. This is a scam where they get your credit card and then bill you for something you never ordered.
I have received a cd pack in the mail onlingo. I didn't order this and don't want it. there are no instructions to return it or if they have some how charged me. It's a mystery to me and an online scam.
Beware people!
and I refund what you get to me and pay the overdraft
12/20/11 SYN*WWW.ONLINGO.COM [protected] $79.95, you get my money without my permission and I did not make an order, I already cancel my transaction and stop ordering, how come you charge me without my permission, because of getting money, I pay my overdraft, maybe you the one will pay my overdraft
The same thing happened to my 18 year old son. He went online and did a survey where he could win a laptop, this is the outcome... to try out Onlingo one time only.. he only had to pay the one time shipping of $6.95. that's how they got his debit card number...he had no idea about anything. I cancelled this Onlingo I hope last night after getting the first invoice in with CD yesterday. They had chargedmy son $89.90 of unautherized charges 2 times in January, 1 time in December plus the original $6.95 s&h the day after so called 14 day trial period was up. My son knew nothing, no more than the one time cost $6.95 shipping for one CD... again he agreed to trial that's it.. they told me he had basically signed an agreement with them or a contract. when he entered this survey. . I have had to cancel his debit card as our bank told me he had paid over $250 in a month and half to them. They misinform and trick people. I am having to send back the one CD he got yesterday, they told me I must pay for the shipping again to get only 79 dollars back, this was after calling them 4 times, 2 times I was hung up on the nthey told me they were doing this much for me out of courtesy ... the people I spoke with last night are out of IOWA. The company is based out of a warehouse with several other so-called businesses in California. We live in a State where it is illegal to do this to a minor. My bank told me they are pulling money out of his account every 25 days...89+ dollars... Onlingo rep. told me he entered into a contract with them and we have no recourse as he did it on internet, it is out of our juristriction So there's nothing we can do about it...or there's no way we can get his money refunded. I only hope it is cancelled now. I am sending this one CD back today and having to pay to send it, but get this they also was told that they cannot refund it if we cancelled that debit card So it looks like we will not get anything back.. I only hope someone reads this and will never fall for this.
