Beware when ordering
Beware when ordering. Ordered a part per Website, after verifying part number, compatibility and price with them on the phone. Paid for the item online and after a few days received an email ***ing the price up another $80.00 over 20%. Why bother showing a price at all if you are going to *** the prices to whatever you feel like after the sale is made? Extremely disappointed and can't believe how dismissive they are about handling problems. They know they have you by the ...!Don't count on paying what they advertise or show on their website! They'll bill whatever price they want and TELL YOU THAT'S THEIR POLICY when you call in! What happened to honoring and respecting the customer?

FordGiantParts.com is good in that if you know the part number, you can find it. But the customer service is terrible in my opinion. They sent me a damaged part so I contacted them. This was a several hundred dollar part. It has been months and no resolution. They wanted pictures of the part, pictures of the packaging, etc. I sent pictures of the part, showing the damage, showing the part number, but the packaging got wet due to rain (box was left out side, but part wasn't). They are difficult to get a hold of, when you respond to their email it some times is "undeliverable" and otherwise I feel like they just don't want to refund me in my opinion. I will not do business with them again.

I bought a headlight from them, the website said it was the correct one for my car. It was not the correct size. The mechanic installed it and showed us how it was bigger, even the hood of the car was raised because of the size. I asked for a refund, and they said electrical parts could not be returned, I let them know it's not my fault they sent the wrong one. They then said I could return it but it had to be in original box and never installed. I don't understand how a fault on their end is my problem. So now I'm out $170.
Excellent company to do business with. Fast shipping, excellent price and product was as advertised. Wouldn't hesitate to do business again with them.

This business is a bit sketchy. I ordered a part and was not told it was out of stock. That would be nice if they did that---but it turns out they keep NO parts in stock. They are essentially a broker. So when I went to the web site at https://www.subarupartsdeal.com/service/contact/us.html and used the chat they explained this to me. I asked the chatter about them being a local company at *** here in ***. They said no---that is not their address. Well it is the address on the website. Anyone who knows *** knows this is the tall office building at Broadway and Rosemont. This being sketchy, I canceled the order. If I do not get a refund I will file a formal Complaintsboard.com complaint. Beware of this place!

You go to their website put in your vehicle, search for parts compatible with your vehicle. They send you a part that has been opened, reboxed, resealed and is 14 years old and not what your ordered. Then they deny you when you try to return it (unused) because of a return policy that basically says, we can deny things and then any other things because things can't be returned. Worst company to deal with I run into in a long time.

Was actually shocked that they still would have this part for a 2014 *** MKS. Ordered part and got exactly what I was looking for. Shipped to me within a week and am completely satisfied with product. The ony thing that I can tell them to improve on is an email notification when product was purchased was never sent, so I never really knew if purchase went through. Very minor, other than that will definitely use them again!

I checked the companies reviews and theres a lot of customers that had the same problem, the company is just delaying the shipments so the person cancels the order so they are able to get the restocking fee of 35% of the cost of the product without having to actually send it.

If you're looking for a sign to show you these people aren't trustworthy, this is it. I needed a new fuse box for my 2013 Ford Fusion. When I looked up my model and engine size on their website, it took me to one and said it would fit my vehicle. I purchased the box, but was greeted with a model fuse box different from the one in my car that I couldn't use: it was the one listed on the site, but it was incorrect for my vehicle and would not fit like the website described. I requested an RMA return form to request a replacement part of the correct part number (one that would actually fit my car), but I was told due to it being an electrical component and open from its original box they couldn't accept the return: my RMA was denied, and when I attempted to offer more information they never responded to me.
I'm going to take a moment and mention their return policy is sketchy at best (on top of their website's reviews: the only ratings that show up are 5 stars; even a few that had extremely negative things to say). They make it the customer's responsibility to inspect any part ordered, but they also refuse to take an item back if you open the packaging. I'm not sure how you inspect a part without opening the box it came in. As far as not taking the part back because it's an electrical component, I actually understand the logic except that I never installed it into my vehicle (it was a pretty night and day difference between the two boxes and wouldn't have fit).
I would have thought due to them sending me the wrong part I would qualify for at least a refund, but they wouldn't acknowledge the option. Arrived in a timely manner, had just recently bought 4 packages with 6 pieces in each package at a cost of *** per package. Because of the scarcity of these parts , the three cost $51.35. But when you got to have em, you pay the price. Ill still do business with this company again. Thank you

Immediately made contact to request a return to get the part with the correct trim. My request was sent their *** department which asked me for pictures of the part and packaging. The *** department them notified me they could not *** a return since the part was electrical and the order was filled by a third party dealer. I called again and spoke directly to a person in the *** department. I was told they would look into it. I received an email within minutes saying the third party dealer would not accept a return.Expect cheap prices and fast shipping but don't expect anything close to customer service or willingness to work with you, merely middlemen between you and an unknown dealer.

Hello, I bought three engine and transmission chocks for my 2018 *** equinox, and it turns out that not a year has passed since they were assembled and the chocks are already bad, the chocks are so soft that I can move them effortlessly with my hands and my car it vibrates like before, and i contacted the seller GM.parts for a replacement and they inform me that i have to go to an approved dealer to verify that they are defective, but i have to pay 150 usd for the revision, and leave my car 5 days, what a sense I have to do that and pay for the revision, by doing so I would be paying again for the new chocks, and that is a misunderstanding on their part, I recommend that they should send the replacements and the customer send the defective ones, of course they should They pay the shipping since we are not to blame for receiving poor quality or defective parts, I hope they are more understanding in these cases, Thank you

Would not have given it any stars, but at least one was required. Don't buy anything from these people. The part I purchased was advertised as a part that would fit my car and I was told verbally that it would. I opened box it was shipped in and could see that it was not the right part. So I photographed it and taped the box up then mailed it back after receiving a RMA form. I had to pay for mailing it back. They received the package on March 14, 2022. It is now April 6, 2022, and I have yet to receive my refund! We returned their product in the same excellent condition in which we received it and all we ask is that they refund our money. I feel like they have stolen it from us and $277 to a senior is a lot to lose not to mention the $47 we paid to ship it back to them. I have contacted them four times regarding this and all they say is "We are reaching out to our dealer for information on the return". Why are they allowed to do this?

Poor customer service
Poor customer service. I ordered *** listed as in stock on 7/14 on Subarupartsdeal.com. They verified the order and charged my credit card. They eventually cancelled my order on 8/26 after delaying the delivery date several times. They did not update me on the status of my order until I asked. Apparently the delivery day was postponed five times but I only knew of one.They did not send an email or contact me telling me they cancelled my order. I found out when it was credited back to my credit card. When I called Subarupartsdeal.com to complain, I eventually spoke with the Logistics Manager of a call center who was very rude on the phone. He hung up on me at the end after saying there was nothing they can do. Before that he said they are not affiliated with any dealerships and order parts from dealers. Needless to say they will hold your money for a month and a half and cancel your order and blame dealerships. Subarupartsdeal.com is a scam.

I have ordered from FPG.com for many years, and I usually have decent service
I have ordered from FPG.com for many years, and I usually have decent service. Shipping is not fast, but not usually too slow. Their prices are amongst the lowest of all OEM sellers. Just don't expect much help if you have to return anything. They won't accept any part that is less than $20 (they claim that's a *** policy), and they will ding you for 20% re-stock even when it is their fault. I always use my VIN to "make sure" the parts fit my vehicle. Well, if their ordering system says it fits but it really doesn't, guess what? They "verify" that it fits by using the same erroneous system that is used for buyers to determine fit, so it will ALWAYS fit, even when it doesn't. Anyway, the return process is convoluted and you will probably waste more time sending photos and emails (NEVER get to speak with a live person) than the cost of the parts, so they get you one way or another. I will definitely be shopping around for a different source for all of my *** vehicles. I 100% agree with ***'s review on 9/21/22; my dealings with C/S are similar.

Definitely a business that deserves a zero rating. Needed a modular for our truck, found it and ordered from this company. Two hours later we get a call from our bank that a "merchant" called our branch and requested PERSONAL information. As we order from many companies we had no idea who this was at the time. Today, we get an email from Fordgiantsparts that our shipping and billing addresses are not the same, so we need to pay with PayPal. Mind you at this point, we now have a canceled debit card due to suspected fraud, and a $600+ charge on our bank account from them. I look up reviews and immediately regret using this company. SO MANY complaints. We call CS. Within 1 minute the woman who answered the phone is yelling at us, telling us to pay using PayPal and THEN they would refund our bank. We hang up, call back, and cancel the order with another cs rep. *** tell me why we can order from hundreds of merchants with our shipping and billing address different, but this company CALLS THE *** without giving any info to the bank representative, and throws a red flag. Do not use this company. Find your parts elsewhere. Do 5 minutes of research and see all of the complaints about them. Not a good company. F Rating.

I ordered a transmission cooler for my F150 truck. It took them well over a week to just ship it and then *** proceeded to take an additional 2 weeks to get it to me. While the shipping delay is not their fault, it left me without a vehicle for 3 weeks. I had to go directly to *** at about week 2 to buy the cooler direct from them so I could get my truck back on the road. Once I finally received the item, I proceeded to follow their proper channels to return it. I was honest in filling out the *** and said I didn't need it and shipped it back at my expense. They received it within a week and I proceeded to wait 2 weeks but I still had no refund. I contacted them via phone, begin to tell them my story, once I'd tell them my order number they would either put me on hold forever or laugh and hang up. I've emailed with no response. I have had an ongoing paypal dispute with them where they have now lied TWICE to get the case in their favor, they also wait to the very last day for them to respond before responding to get the case in their favor. If you just happen to *** search for this company and reviews about them, they play games like this. They laugh because they don't plan to refund anyone and keep both the product and money.

I initially received left side bracket Part No.: 57717AG14A BRKT *** AY SNRH This bracket had the wrong tag on it. I sent an RMA and received another left side bracket. This time the order information was correct but the wrong side was sent. I have since been in an EMAIL circle jerk with your shipper in ***. Today, 19 February, 2022 I have still not received the correct part. After multiple requests and sending pictures of the wrong part and label I finally received a return label. I shipped the part back weeks ago and haven't received the replacement yet. After an EMAIL inquiry I did get a message that I was being sent a requested refund. I did not request a refund! I emailed back and told them I wanted the part. That has been two weeks ago and no additional updates and no part. As you should be able to guess I have finally reached my limit. I now request a refund of $17.92 and that the order be canceled. I've had a customers job on hold for 3 months for this part. Please notify me when my refund is issued. I will required no further contact from your company or any of your subsidiaries in the future.

They obviously want you to pay through paypal and not with your own credit card. After three calls to call center with 3 different responses I was sent to a verification person. I spoke with *** who could careless about customer service. So now i have no *** coming but still have their transaction of $484 pending and holding my card credit limit. This is not a good company
This is not a good company. They will happily take your money for an order and then it's anybody's guess if you'll actually get what you paid for. I place an order on 9/13 on "Subarupartsdeal.com" with 9/20 listed as the latest delivery date. Long story short, I still haven't received my order and don't know if I ever actually will. Contacted the conpany via "live chat" (this just sends them a message, it's not live chat at all) and was told I'd receive an email update yesterday or today at the latest. Never got one. Called the company today to see what was going on and the guy on the telephone was rude and dismissive. Made no real attempt to give me answers. Said that they'd ship the order today. Said he couldn't give me any estimate on when it might arrive. Well, that didn't happen! Received an email 5 minutes after the call saying the order was delayed and I'd get an update when it ships. Apparently they have my order but just aren't actually shipping it? It's been over a week and apparently it's still "processing", whatever that means. At this point I don't think I'll ever see my money, let alone my order, again!These guys have scam written all over. There's fake 5 star reviews on them on their site and on here. Their customer service is terrible - spotty, at best. They do not communicate at all when orders have "problems" unless you call them to find out what's going on, and even when you do their answers are cryptic and they don't even do what they say they will! I've never wrote a bad review for a company but my experience here has been so bad that I felt the need.STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

I didn't recognize the issue until i went to install it and I had to drive over to the dealership to get a replacement. I was lucky they were open. This wasn't a concern because mistakes happen and i was sure that fordpartsgiant.com would make it right. why wouldn't they, it was a $20 part and clearly their fault. in fact, I was planning another large purchase and had my cart already to check out when i decided to follow up on the return that i had in process. I had already sent the images of the incorrect part and packaging to their RMA department as they had requested and was just waiting for their response. Apparently though, they determined that they also wanted pictures of the full complete shipping box and shipping label. I can't imagine why they would need that since the part is a loose unboxed part with no "packaging" and it wasn't like i was stating that the part was damaged in shipping or anything. I think i found the shipping box, but if it is the correct one, the label was underneath the tape that was pulled off in order to open the package so the label is mostly missing. The requirement to maintain the original shipping box and label is NOT spelled out in their return policy but they kept citing it as their policy and refused to address the issue until i provided the pictures. I am not sure if they will ultimately refund me for their error or not, but they finally did send me a return shipping label. The greatest concern is the Returns Managers continuous citing of their "policy" that is not actually a part of their actual advertised policy in order to not refund me for a $20 part. I don't really care about the money but, needless to say, i will not be proceeding with my purchase and will not be shopping with them in the future. If you choose to, be careful! I am sure they have lot's more "Policies" that are NOT advertised that are designed to harm

Sept. 6th, CF471909 for $28.54. I purchased what was stated in bold faced type a coolant sensor switch. It was the wrong part, as confirmed with a Ford dealership. What was sent, F8RZ-17B649-AA is a window washer resevoir level switch. A coolant level sensor is F5RZ-17B649A. I have printed copies of the relevant documentation inluding the return policy found on the page of the item. They will be uploaded. I asked for an RMA and was told that since it cost less than $15.00 I was not eligible for a refund. The return policy on the website said $8.00. A recent call resulted in my being informed that the limit was $20.00. I attempted to resolve this through PayPal and there was some issue about documentation so a new case has been opened with PayPal credit, where hardcopies of documentation will be provided.
On September 8, 2022 I bought a TMPS sensor using PayPal and I never received the part. My address on the order is correct and I called the business to report that although it says delivered it was not placed in my mailbox. I was originally told that I could either receive a refund or replacement and since I had scheduled an appointment with a tire shop I asked for a replacement. Only after I called back I was told that they could not do either one and to dispute it with PayPal. They were unwillingly to help and made it seem like I was lying about not receiving the part. I also work in customer service for an online store and I am very aware of how often parts are lost in the mail and/ or delivered to the incorrect address. I will not be shopping with them again as they have terrible customer service. Instead of helping like the first representative said they offered nothing. They could easily file a claim with USPS and they should use better shipping anyways because they charge $17 for it.

I needed to purchase new seatbelts for a 2001 Ford Ranger. In Navigating the website, there were several options and I was unsure which part was the correct one to order. Per their website, I used the parts inquiry form to request the correct part number. Their original response did not appear to be correct, so I used the parts inquiry form a second time to confirm the parts number were correct. FordPartsGiant confirmed via email twice that the part numbers I needed were correct. I ordered the seat belts on 7/5 and reached out to the parts inquiry system on 6/24 and 6/27 on 7/23 I attempted to install one of the seatbelts and discovered the Passenger side seatbelt was the wrong part. I worked through their RMA process and they responded with: "we have confirmed that the part ordered was the part received; We are sorry to inform you that your request has been denied due to the following reason(s): The part(s) is non-returnable items due to it being, but not limited to: - Seatbelt component or airbag" I find this response unacceptable. I spent $300 on this part because they advised it was the correct part. I simply want to return it and to receive the correct part. Regardless of the return policy, if a consumer purchases a part based on their expertise and it is the wrong part then they should accept a return and provide the correct part.

I ordered a part for my car from GM Parts Giant .com. The part was supposed to be delivered in 5 days, I did not get a notification that my order was "approved" until 4 days later. Another 5 until I receive it. Took my vehicle and the part from them to a local shop for installation. Got a call from the shop an hour later saying that the part was not correct. I then had to purchase the correct part from another vendor through the shop where my vehicle was being serviced. I called GM Giant parts.com and was told by *** that the only thing considered a wrong part is "if I ordered a gas cap, but got a steering wheel instead." I asked her why I would pay to return an item they sent me that was incorrect, and she went back the the gas cap analogy. I just let her know I would start a chargeback w my bank and she yelled "have a nice day in the phone" real sarcastic and hung up.
On 7/28/22 I ordered driver and passenger headlight assembly. The cost was $319.67. When I went on the website it asked for a vin number or year,make and model. I used year,make and model. When I looked up the parts it had a green check mark and said these parts fit your vehicle. When I received the parts they did not fit my vehicle. When I tried to return them they said I had to pay for shipping and 20% restocking fee. Shipping would have cost me $200. They said because I didn't use a vin number is was my fault. On there web site it said vin number or vehicle year,make and model not just vin number. I have a 2005 Mercury montego. The headlight assembly they sent me fit a 2005 ford 500. I ordered a car part from this company. I used the website's drop down menu to select my model/year/engine, and the part I purchased through this method said it fit my car. I got the part, aside from being loose in a box, it seemed fine. I go to put it on my car, the part is different. I have a 2017, the part I had, the part that their vehicle selector confirmed fit my car, is for a [protected]. I contacted the company, through a series of emails, they asked me to send pictures of the box it came in, send pictures of the item, send them my VIN, then wanted me to pay shipping to send back the item for a potential refund. I expressed displeasure with having to pay, they sent me a label I could print. When the part arrives to them, they refuse to refund and tell me I can pay to get it back. I express again, displeasure and that if their website functioned properly that I wouldn't be able to even purchase the wrong part. I got sent back the part I cannot use without charge. I contacted the company one more time, telling them the appropriate response from them would have been an outright refund or replacement part that I actually need. I informed that I'd be contacting the Complaintsboard.com and going online, I got a "thank you" as a response. Basically, I've had a little over 100 dollars stolen from me and horrible customer service as a response to their faulty website.

I ordered the part. in VERY light font, it stated that the part had been replaced. Upon receipt, the (replaced) part did not fit. I was told I ordered the replaced part and was shipped the replaced part and they are not responsible for it not fitting (even though their tool implies a fit) Additionally I was responsible for return shipment and 20% restocking. The customer service agent (***) would not escalate me to a supervisor and basically told me tough luck. I asked for the name of his supervisor, a manager and an address for correspondence and was told he did not have to disclose that information If the part was "replaced" there should be mention that they don't guarentee that it will be the right part In order to return the part, I must click on "accept" the terms of the replacement(i.e. restocking fee and shipment costs) This is a $171 part, I paid for shipping to me of $22 and now must ship back for an additiona $22 and pay 20% restocking $34. On 5/15, 2022, I initiated the wire transfer in the amount of $5722.30 and it was processed on 5/16/2022 out of my account. I've waited for some time and I tried checking the status of the order online but it kept showing that the order was submitted so i contacted them to see what was going on with the order. I received the run around from the company. No one could tell me about my wire transfer. When I mentioned that I'll be contacting my lawyer, that's when my order started getting worked on. They sent me notification that some of the parts was on back order and would be shipped out once they received them. So they shipped the order on June 30, 2022, minus those on back order. I contacted them today August 24, 2022, to inquire about the missing parts from my shipment and was told that I couldn't get those parts. So, I asked about my refund and the person hung up the phone. I called back and was told that the order was 4 thousand dollars and some change and the balance was refunded to my account. I have not received an invoice to verify that amount. I checked my account and I did not receive a refund. They seem to be playing games because I called them back about 3 times after that and no one would answer the phone. I definitely want my money back because that's not business like.

Using the website gmpartsgiant.com, I made an order with this company. Order number ***, order date 1/28/2022. The part cost was $86.06. The total including nearly $30 in shipping for a small part was $115.05. Once the part arrived I could immediately tell this was not the correct part for my car. Their website said it would fit but it is incorrect. When I called I was told that the returns department only works by email and she can put in an order for a refund and they would contact me within 1-2 days. Every email from them is from an email that does not accept replies so you have to send a new email to a different address making the conversation difficult to track. They have told me I am responsible to pay return shipping and a 20% restocking fee even though it was their fault and that I would not get any refund if the item was not returned with all original packaging and paperwork. It did not come in any packaging, just a loose part in a box that was too big. No packaging, no packing material to cushion it, no paperwork or packing slip. The only thing in the box with the part was a piece of trash. I sent another email explaining all of this to them, stating that I would like a full refund since the error was on their end. They responded to me by saying it was my fault because I didn't do a search by VIN to make sure it was right, then they insisted they sent the correct part. I DID do a search by VIN and their site still said it was the correct part when it clearly is not. I have included a picture of their website saying this part fits my car based on it's VIN number.

Hi, On 05/04/2022 I purchased two replacement rear shocks from GMPartsGiant.com for a 2009 Hummer H3 for a total of $317.19. The shocks were shipped to me, and I checked the boxes to ensure everything looked correct with the part numbers on the box. The part number on the boxes matched the correct part number according to the information on GMPartsGiant.com The shocks did sit for some time as the vehicle was getting other work done to it. When the shocks were going to be installed, it was evident that the shock was incorrect when the old OEM shocks were removed from the vehicle. The OEM shocks on the vehicle have a bushing with a mounting plate that's required to mount the shock to the underbody of the vehicle. I went back to GMPartsGiant.com to review the order again to make sure there was no error on my end. The images (attached) show the shock with the mounting plate, but this was not the product delivered to me. I tried contacting GMPartsGiant.com and was told I was outside of their 5-day return policy, even though they shipped the wrong items. I was told I had to submit a return request to the RMA department and was told it would probably be denied. It was denied the same day in what appeared to be an automatic response. I contacted them again, trying to find a solution, and never got a response. Now I have shocks that cannot be used, and I am out of the money. At this point, I just want a refund and to ship the shocks back to GMPartsGiant.com They are advertising one part on their website and sending a completely different part. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

On 7/29 of this year I ordered an A/C Clutch Kit from "GMPartsGiant.com" aka Original Parts Giant, Inc.. I received the part in a box a few days later. While the part number on the outside of the box was correct and the box looked new, when I opened the box, I found that both parts bags were opened. When I compared the clutch kit to my clutch, it did not match at all and would not fit my A/C. I ended up ordering the exact same part number from another company which matched both my part and fit my car. I reached out to Original Parts Giant, Inc. to apply for a RGA. They claimed that I received the correct part because "it said so on the box." I sent them pictures of their part compared to the part that fit and highlighted how they didn't match at all. They said they had no way of confirming from the picture if the part was correct or not. The only option they gave me was to return the part at my cost and pay a 20% restock fee. Out of options, I paid to ship the part back to them. A week later I received an email, denying my return because the part "was not in salable condition." They graciously offered to ship it back to me at my cost. The attached pic shows their part on the left against my original clutch. While they look similar, the opening for their part is too small and the index pin (little knobs on the face) are in the wrong position. This part definitely won't work and likely does not match the part number on the box it came it. I'm seeking a full refund of my purchase and an apology from this company that essentially called me a liar for daring to suggest they sent me the wrong part.

Placed two orders with the FordGiantParts.com, CFC38375 and CFC38376, for $280.73 & $103.90 respectively on March 15, 2022. Both orders were put on backorder due parts not being in stock at the time of order. Orders were then shipped several days later and I received most of the parts on March 21 for the two orders. There were a couple of items from one of the orders missing -W702852-S300 ($12.75) and -W704277-S438 ($17.40) and there was no shipping list in the boxes indicating what was shipped or not. I assumed the items were still on backorder and waited. On April 12th I still had not received the parts when the others parts from other vendors arrived to complete the job. I called into customer service on April 12th and reported the missing parts. The customer service rep initially said it would be sent to RMA department and it should take a couple of days. I then ask for a refund and would try to get the parts elsewhere. She said she would change the RMA to a refund and I should hear something in a day or two. I never heard back via email or call. I called today on April 15th and they now indicated that there was a 5 day policy on requesting missing parts. The escalation manager said he had no flexibility even thought their mistake resulted in them keeping my money and not sending me my parts. I ask for further escalation from the RMA manager but he no. Finally he said "I have a voice recording that you received your parts" and hung up on me. Very poor customer service. They kept my money and would not send me the parts I purchased. I would like to have the parts I ordered or the $30.15 that I paid. It is not fair that a large company can just keep money and not deliver product.

Part arrived packaging indicates part # El8Z-9F479-A however part received # El8A-9F479-AA. 8/31/22 - package delivered 9/1/22 - contacted customer service # and spoke with (gentleman) customer service rep who indicated a RMA request was needed to process return. 9/3/22 - two pictures sent to email ***. 9/6/22 -contacted RMA to obtain status of request. Customer service *** of the RMA team provided horrible customer service. Twice i was placed on hold by *** because I did not answer his question in a timely manner. When provided with order number, the call was transferred to the customer service team. *** (rep) first indicated pic not received. However, after additional review picture were found and I was told a review needed to take place by RMA. Shared that RMA rep transferred rudely and questioned when could I expect to receive update? Advised by end of day, email receive immediately denying the request. Called back and requested to speak with manager, transferred to rep who did not share name or title when answering. Request a manager than rep indicated name *** and manager for returns. Tried to explain to *** issue and he was just as rude as *** (subordinate). And indicated the company policy was not to take back any torn packing. Questioned, how part could be used without opening package? Is it my (customer's) responsibility to ensure the car part # and packing part # are the same prior to opening? *** did not offer any resolution to this issue, i did advise the company that a formal complaint would be issued.

The trim covers electronics and associated wiring around the interior rear view mirror, and there are two pieces - one upper, and one lower. I received the correct part number, and my wife opened it when it arrived. Once I arrived to install the piece, I realized it was not the upper cover, but the lower one. The return policy forbids returning opened products, but it also has a clause for incorrect parts shipped. These are the items that led to my purchase of the part. 1. Part description listed part as a "Cover" in the "Upper" position, which I reasonably understand to mean above. 2. Part image does not easily allow visual verification, which is common for small parts in automotive and other similar technical manuals. I received the part on 25 April 2022, and I filed a complaint with their website on 30 April 2022, which is within the 5 business days cited in the return policy. I am requesting assistance getting a refund due to their catalog being incorrect leading to my receipt of an incorrect item. What I ordered is what was shipped, but it was not the correct part based on the catalog they provided. In addition, the returns manager was very rude. When I explained that their catalog was incorrect, he refused to acknowledge it at all, simply referencing the open package, and even mentioning a VIN to say that it could be my mistake because a VIN was not provided for verification (irrelevant to the accuracy of the catalog). They have a significant number of similar complaints on their Facebook page as well.
