Outdoor Adventures review: Outdoor adventures campgrounds

On March 12 of 2020 my wife and I took a tour of the campgrounds around Lansing, MI. We were misled into buying a membership to this timeshare campground package that would allow us to use different campgrounds throughout Michigan. The salesman talked us into getting a Good Sam credit card to which they charged $480.00 that day. Then monthly payments for the timeshare campground would be billed monthly at $480 per month indefinitely until we cancelled. Well, they never billed the card and we never received and information on how to use the time share at all. No information was ever sent on how to cancel at any time being the salesman stated we could cancel at any time, but we never received information from them on who they were, where to cancel nor did they bill the Good Sam card monthly for payments like they stated they would. We were misled, lied to and then we were turned into collection without notice. We were given no notice as to why we were turned into collection, who to pay and who had the debt until it was on our credit report. My wife and I are disgusted about this. We were lied to mislead and promised open communication to be able to cancel at anytime. There was no warning of being turned into collection and now I have this on our credit report and want it gone as it is hurting our credit. We have no information on who has the debt or how to take care of it. This company is disrespectful, dishonest and untruthful when selling their products. They lie, disseat, mislead people just to get their money and then without notice turn you into collection. Please help as we have been burned and just want out of this mess as painlessly as possible. The next step is to turn them into the BBB of Michigan.
