rapid pick-up order [protected]
I used the rapid pick up service this evening, but there were mistakes with my order that I noticed when I arrived home:
1. We ordered a candy cookie but it was not included.
2. We ordered 2 cherry danish pastries, but only 1 was included.
3. We ordered 1 raspberry almond thumbprint cookie, but received 2.
4. Our large mac and cheese should have come with a baguette but it did not.
The rest of the order was correct. I tried to phone the restaurant when I returned home but no-one answered our call.
If you charged us for what we ordered and not what we received I think we've been overcharged $2.99.
We are very disappointed with this service and will probably not use it again.

the alamo, ca "panera bread"
I have frequented this café over four times in the morning requesting a four cheese soufflé. Each time they state they did not have any available even though I was requesting this item during their breakfast session.
The staff there lacks spirit or interest in their job and could care less what the customers needs are.
Also when I have ordered anything from this restaurant to eat there I end up having to pick up my own order from the window as wait staff is never available.

I had not been feeling week and realized I had a sinus infection and so I went to Panera for some soup he has usually the chicken noodle helps. While eating I thought the bread was stale but I was too tired to go back out so I tried to finish the meal. The stale bread ended up breaking my tooth. I had to rush to the dentist and get my tooth filled in. The bread cracked my tooth in half. I love Panera but this was an extremely traumatic experience.

I placed an order to cashier: ANDREW for 2 toasted cream cheese bagels Sprout Grain Bgl and 1 cherry Pastry TOGO. Items placed in a bag. Upon getting home, I was surprised there were two plain toasted bagels without cream cheese. And, further shocked to find that the bagels were just laying on a napkin and covered by a napkin. Is this acceptable? You would think that each bagel would be wrapped up to go.
I called the Panera Bread store Cafe 4627 20 minutes later (June 24, 2018 at 12:35) to explain the situation and complain. The manager was nonchalant about the situation and frankly had an uncaring attitude to hearing the complaint. No apologies or no offer to rectify the situation.
I feel that both cashier Andrew and manager need some training with customer relations. I retain the receipt copy.
service and unsafe food practices
I visited your location this evening at College Blvd and Neiman Road in Overland Park, KS. As I was waiting for my order in the drive through line, I observed that an employee carried a muffin I had ordered back to the drive through area with her ungloved hands. She was not carrying it in any type of paper, just with her bare hands. She then put it in the box with her ungloved hands. When I received my order, I asked the employee who had taken my money and handed me my order for a different muffins as I had witnessed the other employee with both her hands all over the muffin. She begrudgingly went out of my sight to get another muffin. She did not have gloves on when she left my sight or when she returned. I asked if this muffin had been packed with gloves and she said it had been. Unless someone else packaged this muffin, I highly doubt it and this employee was also handling money. While she stepped away to get my second muffin, I also observed through the drive through window, 2 other employees, who were wearing gloves, interacting with their cell phones with gloves on. I have to assume this is against company policy, as cell phones are very dirty and these employees were then preparing food with the same gloves they had contaminated with their cell phones. It appears to me that your employees need further training in the area of proper and safe food handling. I am hesitant to eat food prepared at this establishment from this point.

When I went to order my food I gave her a $100 bill she checked it and gave me back the change. As I was waiting for my food she came back up to me and asked if I had another form of payment assuming my money was fake when I just got it from the bank. She then made me go back to the register had to take out my money from my wallet down to the last penny and give it back to her while there was a line behind me. It was extremely embarrassing and rude. Claming my money was fake.

Order [protected] customized modern Greek quinoa salad and left feeling nauseous.The greens were not fresh, I found a bad olive.I added the Adobo corn, then was told they didn't hv anymore.They forgot to add the pecans to the salad and the dressing on the side.This is the first location that cups are not by the kiosks. I love panera bread. It's one of my favorite places. Being from the south sweet tea is my favorite drink. And I don't know what y'all are trying to do with your fancy drinks but can you guys please get some good normal regular southern sweet tea? I truly hate the drink y'all do offer. They are gross. And I never make companies ya about anything. But this I feel strongly about. Panera is an awesome place! Like I would bug one if I could. So please step up your sweet tea game?!?!

online order
I placed an online order for broccoli soup and Fiji apple salad (no pecans). Due to a medical condition I cannot have nuts or seeds. I picked up my order, drove to the park and ate my soup. When I went to eat the salad I saw it was the Strawberry poppyseed salad with walnuts. - I cannot eat this with strawberry seeds, blueberry seeds, poppyseed in the dressing. I had to drive ALL the way back to Panera, exchange the salads (which was done quickly with no problem) but then I could not drive all the way back to the park, I had to drive all the way back to my office and eat at my desk while working. Very disappointed I did not get a refund or something since I had to drive all over the place and then had to eat at my desk while working
late, messy food and hair in my soup
I made an order at 0530 pm for rapid pickup at 0600 pm. My order was not only 20 minutes late, but my sandwich had MAYBE two pieces of chicken and what seemed like two cups of spinach was just thrown all over the container. My tomato soup also had a piece of human hair in it. This is the second time my order has been sloppily put together. I can handle an order being late if it's handled properly, but whoever put this order together did not give a damn.
Just want to agree with you. They raised prices here in Florida and give you less. so much so I have gone to cooking the recipes thru the copy cat recipes... They are close. Close enough.
Their staff is always slow, gets something wrong, fooling around behind counters - like their invisible to us. Then you go into Star Bucks nest door/attached next door and its professional, very very clean, etc. Just don't get it.

I ordered online delivery. Waited an hour and a half, to receive my drink which was not made correctly, followed by my sandwich being burnt, also I ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich, I received my sandwich with no sausage! Panera Bread has been a favorite restaurant of mine, and my family, since it came to Richland. However, in the past couple of years, our location seems to have gone down hill steadily. The biggest problem, which has become more and more prominent and annoying, would be the worker's behaviors. The workers, and even the managers, are extremely loud, obnoxious, and talkative despite the presence of customers! The subject matter of their speech is innapropriate, as is the volume at which they speak being that I know exactly what their conversations are about just by sitting in a booth in the restaurant. Something needs to be done about this as it is unnattractive to business.
charge for item I didn't receive
Placed an online order for pickup at the hanover mass. Store for rapid pick up online order #220287423, cafe order #953797. I quickly checked the order to make sure I received the mac & cheese that I ordered for the pick two because it has been wrong before. I brought the order home and my wife said the mac and cheese was a small order, lot the large that I ordered, not only that, it turns out the pecan braid that I ordered for tomorrows breakfast wasn't even in the bag.
I am truly fed up with mistakes made to orders at panera bread, but i'm more upset about paying for something I didn't receive. Panera has made so many mistakes with my orders over the years that i've lost track. I don't know why my family still ask me to pick up items from panera, but they do. It's so frustrating that I rarely order anything for myself due to the constant mistakes.
Panera has a policy that says "your order should be correct every time. If it's not, we'll fix it right away. And give you a free treat for your trouble." well, every time I mention a problem with my order while at the bakery I get a nasty look from the employee, and never once did they offer a treat for my trouble, so that's a complete joke, but it sounds like a good spiel even if it's not followed.

Ordered lunch for delivery online. Received a delivery time and paid by cc. Order never came. Waited an extra hour before trying to call local Smyrna location. Tried four times and phone just rang forever. No one answers. Tried online chat feature to find out what happened and basically was told how the system works and that I should have gotten an order number, like it was my fault Panera's online system failed. Last time I will ever try to order from their "wonderful, time-saving delivery service".
scone purchase 6/14
Bought my coffee and a blueberry scone 6/14. Recipe on scones changed? Easily fell apart and tasted like it was made with Bisquick. I ordered a Broccoli Cheddar soup and when it was brought to me the soup was cold. When I encountered one of the workers very kindly, and felt kind of guilty complaining about it, and she gave me a very negative reaction. She rudely pointed, without eye contact, at the microwave and said, "uhh there is a microwave there". I proceeded to the microwave and after reheating the soup, it no longer tasted good.

On sunday june 10th my wife and I went to panera in livonia. We paid with credit card and it asks for a tip? For what! Panera's bread's employees do not serve like in a restaurant. Why would you have a tip at the end of the transaction for no service. Besides that all the tables were dirty from previous customers. One employee came off of break and pushed in chairs and picked up the plates at the drop off cart. By the way did I mention the customer picks up their plates, bowls, cups and trash, and places them on the cart!

I picked up a salad that I ordered on line, too take to work with me. I was eating at my desk and got to the bottom of the container and was doing up the last bite, looked down, and there was a large cockroach, dead, in my salad. Honestly, I've never been so ill in my life. I cannot get that image out of my mind. I felt so nauseated. What did I already eat in the rest of the salad? I'm genuinely horrified. I have witnesses and photographs. I expect to hear from you. I've been advised to call the health dept.

The lady that took my order had a very very bad attitude with me she kept rolling her eyes & smacking her gum like in a way as in saying hurry up & order already. So I was rushed, then it took forever for my order to come out to me like 30/40minutes sumwhere around there but it was a long time. When it finally got to me I opened the container it was in & the lettuce was all wilted & mushy turning brown & slimy! The tortilla strips was all soggy & jus nasty the salad I ordered is named Asian Sesame Salad. Any other time I have been to panera bread my order has never been like this before my salad is any other time perfect & crispy looks beautiful to. I always order the same salad everytime I came here that salad is 1 of my best favorites from here that i will eat everyday if i could lol.. But yes I have called & made an complaint & they told me they was gonna email me an E-Gift Card to your restaurant so I can come back in & order more food sense I have been treated that way the last time I been there. I have been waiting for this E-Gift Card to come in to my Email address but I haven't received anything from you guys period yet & when I called that was wow a few weeks ago the lady I spoke with that day on the phone about the problem I had said the Email should be there by now but nothing yet. I would love for the corporate manager to please Email me back about this problem/situation & please make this right because that's the reason why I haven't been back to your restaurant. I would like for this problem to be taken care of so I can go do a good review about you guys & letting everyone know that if they have a problem with the restaurant then make a complaint to the panera bread board & they will take care of the issue & make it right instead of the bad review & rating I did when the problem happened I can always go back to my old review & rating & edit it all or make a new review about how good you guys are now! I visit various Panera Bread locations in my area several times each week and have been a loyal rewards member for years. Love the food, especially soups, and the French baguette bread is one of the main reasons I visit so much. Given the random nature of the hand breaking off of french bread pieces I am occasionally given a smaller than usual piece. If I don't have enough bread to finish with my soup I will ask for another piece and, without fail, the cheerful young associate will break off a piece and hand it to me. I only occasionally visit the Panera Bread Cafe #3324 in Jensen Beach, FL, and on June 5, 2018 I was in the vivinity so I stopped in and order a large bowl of soup. I was given a very small piece of French baguette, finished it quickly and asked if I could have another small piece. I was told that I would have to pay $.75 for an additional "side" of French Baguette. I was astounded and told the manager that I am never asked to pay for this at any other Panera Bread location. She told me that this is a "corporate" policy, so I asked how big the extra cost piece would be since the regular pieces are pretty haphazard sizes and she would not answer the question. I paid the $.75 because I wanted to finish my soup with bread, and also have a receipt. The next day I went to another of my local Panera Bread Cafes and ordered soup, then asked for an additional piece of bread and it was cheerfully given to me with no mention of this "corporate policy". I repeated the scenario the day after that at a 3rd Panera Bread Cafe that I frequent, with the same result. I asked the young associate about this "policy" and she looked quite surprised...said she knew nothing about that. At this morning's local Chamber of Commerce meeting I asked if anyone has had any similar experience, as I know most of te members do frequent Panera Bread Cafes. Two other members said they had the same experience weeks ago, and only at the Jensen beach store, but not at others. They both said they no longer go that that cafe. If this is a rogue cafe manager making up "policies" they will be seeing less and less of the loyal Panera Bread members.
