burnt food. wrong food.
I am writing to complain about the Robinson Pa # 202306 store. I placed my Togo order today in person and before I left made sure to check it. It was wrong. They took it back and fixed it, or so I thought. When I came home it was in fact still wrong and my wife's flatbread was burnt, actually black. My order was $35. A little pricey for a ruined lunch. This certainly isn't the first time this has happened at this location. I am writing now because enough is enough.
hazelnut cream cheese
PLEEEEAAASSSE bring back the Hazelnut Cream Cheese. If it goes so does our Cinnamon Crunch Bagel purchases since this was the PERFECT combination. We have eaten them for years this way and we are hooked. It is one of those things we crave when we haven’t had them for awhile! Without the pairing together the craving does not get satisfied! It was SUCH a disappointment to learn it had been removed from your menu on my special trip in this morning.
quality of food
I ordered some Mac and Cheese and was told I had to wait about 15 minuets, which is fine Bc it was a bit early for lunch. While sitting and waiting for the food I hear the chef yell loudly, "put the mac and cheese in the microwave." I don't not pay 15 dollars for microwaved macaroni and cheese. I am very disappointed in the quality and decisions of the chef. I will not be returning to a Panera that operates like this.
It's not the line worker's decision. That's how the mac and cheese is made. Deal with it or cook at home.
service
While driving to watch my boyfriend's son's soccer game we stopped by Panera in Gastonia NC to grab a quick coffee on our way. He order a cappuccino with an extra shot and I got the same with almond milk. After waiting for about 10 minutes he started to get impatient (not uncommon for him) so when someone underneath our name on the screen got called for their order consisting of 2 large bags of food he went to ask about the coffees. The girl up front, who was very sweet and apologetic the entire time, went to check on the coffees and said there had been an accident and that they were remaking them. About 25 minutes into what was expected to be a quick stop we were finally called for our coffees. We took them back out to the car and when I tasted mine it was barely warm and almost entirely milk. I'm not exaggerating or being dramatic for effect, it was really just bad. I had my boyfriend try his and it was very hot, but taste like it was burned. I'm not sure what happened and I know this sounds like not a big deal because it was just two coffees but if you just knew how badly I neeeeeeeeeeeded that coffee you would understand how disappointing it was. We are running late and still have to make it to Wilmington to the game then back to charlotte tonight to get up and catch a 6:45 flight. I am not the type of person to complain and the staff was great in general, but the coffee really was not up to standard.
service
On Sunday at a busy shopping area I attended a Panera around 2 pm. I am always expecting to wait when entering a Panera around lunch time. I was an employee of the company for almost 5 years so I can understand. However this experience was horrible. The line was almost to the door when we walked in but I know the line usually moves quickly so we decided to stay. That was the wrong decision. At the time there were a total of three employees working plus the manager. There was one cashier, one dining room person, and one person working all parts of the line. This just makes for poor service. The man taking orders seemed to be in his first day and kept leaving to do other tasks. By the time we came to the door until we had our food to eat we waited almost 50 minutes. This should be unacceptable. I loved this company but lately I have had poor experiences. Sincerely loosing a lifetime fan
salads
August 30, 6:30 p.m., I ordered in the Taylors, SC on Wade Hampton Blvd restaurant 2 salads. One was 1/2 filled & had spoiled lettuce, and a hard boiled egg. The egg had a white yolk & the first bite was crunchy. The other had rotten lettuce at the bottom.
I called the manager, Betty. She said to come back & she would make new ones herself. It was late for my daughter, so she had a sandwich from home to eat. On my way back, I had to pull off the road & vomit my strawberry poppyseed 1/2 salad. I spent last night vomiting & 2 1/2 hours this morning at the doctors office. I've had labs & x-rays & I'm on a clear liquid diet.
I've had problems there before. The employees making the food talk inappropriately, are extremely slow. They have no customer service skills. They wear gloves but wipe their foreheads with their arms & touch everything thing.
With the Panera name, I expect so much better for the cost & wait.

rapid pick up order
Normally rapid pickup is perfect, but today not so much. Ran in to pickup my very simple order of custom hot chocolate and blueberry muffin, my fault for not checking the order before I ran out the door. The point of rapid pickup is because your in a hurry. I get to work and take a sip of my hot chocolate that taste very plain--- because there was no whip cream and salted caramel drizzle or the reg chocolate drizzle that I requested. OK, easy enough, no big deal. Then I go to open my bag with blueberry muffin. There is only a blueberry bagel. So I called the store and pressed 5 for the manager, no one answered. I wait 10 min. and call again. This time a woman answers, I tell her what happened and she said, "Oh, Well we will make it right the next time you come in sweetheart". That was it. How does she know my name? How will she know its even for me? Doesn't change the fact that I'm at work, can't leave to get anything else, and I HATE BAGELS! She didn't even care. How do you even get the simplest of orders wrong? No one even signed off on the checked by section of the receipt. I know my order was simple, small, and insignificant compared to others, but it really started my day on the wrong foot. I just needed to hear, "I'm sorry about that, I'll make sure the orders are doubled checked in the future".
service at woodburn or towards a disabled customer
My family went there after shopping I took my inslin

Smart omg I'm so upset this is so wrong
tortellini alfredo
I visited cafe 440 in Culpeper VA 8/29/2017 at 6:50PM. I ordered a tortiilleni Alfredo MINUS chicken and a large mac and cheese through the drive through. There were two vehicles in front of me. From the point of ordering to the time I got to the window my husband was able to WALK next door to Chick-Fil-A, order our children's meals and WALK BACK to the car as I was still awaiting in the drive through! It was obnoxiously long. You'd THINK after waiting that long to get my order that my food would at LEAST be fresh. Wrong.
Upon arriving home to eat dinner I found that the tortilleni alfredo that I paid $8.99 was dried out. Some pieces so hard that they were completely inedible! To top it off, there was shredded chicken that I had to pull off. This is not the first unpleasant experience I've had with Panera but it is, in fact, one that will sway my choice when it comes time to select an eatery in the future. The quality of the food is not up to par considering the cost of eating at your establishment. I look forward to receiving a response regarding this less than satisfactory experience.

Ashleigh Adams

completion of order
I ordered a pick two and was very unsatisfied with what I received considering the amount I paid.My chicken Caesar sandwich was smaller than the palm of my hand and had chicken and Caesar dressing only with a few browned pieces of lettuce. Normally it comes with purple onions and tomatoes. I did not receive my side (bread) that I ordered to go with my soup. The soup, French onion, was fine. Total was $11.41 and I felt that was not worth what I received. The sandwich was gone in 4 bites and I had no side to go with my meal. Needless to say I was still hungry. I got my order to go so I didn't notice there was no side until I was already home.
wrong food delivered/food unacceptable
A co-worker and I ordered food and waited over an hour for our food. When the delivery guy got here he dropped off the bag and promptly left. When going to split our food we realized that this was NOT our order. We called and stated they dropped off the wrong food and the lady seemed like she really didn't care that we were given the wrong food. She stated she could either make us new food or give us 1 pick 2 voucher. Our food came to 32.92 so this was not an appropriate fix for us having to wait so long for our food and then ending up with the wrong things. So they sent the us our correct food & 1 free pick 2 but the mac & cheese that we each paid $8 for was literally barley 1/2 full. This is completely unacceptable, we have ordered from Panera before and have never had this issue and our mac & cheese was the full bowl. I feel they were mad that we called to get our correct food so they just decided to only partially fill our bowl. I would not even pay $3 for the amount of mac & cheese that we received. I have also taken photos of the amount of food that we received. I am beyond appalled at the experience that we have received today from this store. We work for UW Health and tend to order from this store frequently but this has definitely put a bad taste in our mouth and i'm unsure if I want to take my business there any longer.
chicken fuji apple salad
I placed an order for rapid ordering and my online order is [protected] and the location is Wyomissing PA. I was ordering for everyone at work and I placed an order for Chicken Fuji Apple Salad. I ordered it with no Tomato, Red Onion and Arugula, Romaine, Kale and Rad. When you order online... it takes away the stuff that you don't want. With that being said... It still showed greens in the bowl . So when I received my order... I had nothing but the toppings for the salad. I provided my phone number and I would of thought that someone would have called to see if that was correct and I would have imformed them NO it is not. I have attached pictures of what the website said that I would get in my salad and what I actually got. I would never pay for just the topping for a salad. I called the Wyomissing branch and the person that I spoke to, really couldn't care if I was happy and told me that it was pretty much my fault because I took away the greens. I pushed 5 to speak to a manager. Like I said... I have attached the pictures of what was showing on the website and what I actually got. Needless to say... I didn't have lunch.
order service
Last night we went into the Panera Bread at Westlake Center in Peoria, IL. It was about twenty minutes before they closed. We stood at the counter to order food and the people in the kitchen looked at us and just turned away. Nobody said they would be with us shortly or anything. We stood there a while longer and they just kept looking at us and ignoring us. Finally we left which is exactly what they hoped we would do and took our business elsewhere. One of the people in the kitchen was the manager. Shame on him for setting a bad example of how a restaurant should operate. I guess we disrupted their cleaning up to close.
smoothie completely melted to juice at time of pick-up
I just ordered some food and a peach and blueberry smoothie for Panera Rapid Pick-up on August 26, 2017 in Campbell, CA. When I arrived to pick up my order, the food was ready but I had to wait for the smoothie. They handed me the smoothie, and I noticed it was a bit runny like it was melted, but I needed to go so I drove home (5 minutes away). When I arrived home, I took a sip and it was very watery, like watered down juice. If I had tried it in the restaurant, I would have taken it back. I was expecting much more from a $5 smoothie, and I've had your smoothies before and they've never been watery. It wouldn't allow me to attach a video here, but you can view it on Google Drive by following this link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B14e6--B4V-ZUER0clAyUWU2ejg/view?usp=sharing
I am very disappointed in the quality of the smoothie, and would like a refund.

salad
Today I went to the Panera bread in Exeter, PA and bought a salad and when I got home and went to eat the salad it was yellow and gross, the time it took me to get from this store to my home was about 20 mins so there is no way it should have been yellow. I am very upset with this! I love Panera but if I can't count on the food being fresh all the time I will no longer go. You advertise that your food is fresh, so why is my salad yellow?
condition of restaurant, service and quality of food
We visited the Panera Bread Company on Weston Road in Weston, FL. We hadn't visited that one in a few months and it was a horrible! When we ordered the manager warned us the order would take about 20 minutes because she had employees in training. She graciously gave us an extra pastry for 99 cents which was good customer service.
Well we sat down and the order took more like 45 minutes! While waiting patiently I notice how deplorable and filthy the restaurant was. The upholstered chairs were dirty. We also had to clean our table because every one was dirty. The wooden chairs were caked with months of splattered food! The carpet was a science experiment !
Food was being brought out one plate at a time for each of the patrons. My husband's pick two came out and then I am told they were out of the broth bowl I ordered. Seriously! After waiting that long I supposed to pick something else. I am
pretty sure they knew they ran out long before they had the courage to tell me.
All in all it was an exasperating experience and then the long awaited food was mediocre at best. Not the tasty food we have enjoyed in the past.
A worker and then the manager did come and speak to us and I give them credit for that. I was told there were 4 call offs so I complimented them for their efforts but I was honest with the manager and said we will not be back to that location.
I visit other Paneras all the time so I was shocked at the atrocious state of the restaurant and the overall experience. Our bill was $34.84 and quite honestly I think I should receive a full refund. With all the restaurant choices your company needs to give me a very good me a reason to continue to patronize your establishments because I really do like your food!
Sincerely,
Patty Salas

pick two
Today I went into Panera bread for a pick the soup wasn't hot after it sat there waiting on the sandwich. However is wasn't until I ask how much longer was it gonna be before my order was ready the clerk remember I hadn't got my food. Then not mention I wasn't asked if i was a cardholder or if I wanted the 1 pasty. So I normally wouldn't complain but I was highly offended today!
employees and manager
Went into Amherst Ohio Panera to order a bowl of garden pesto soup. There were 2 people with orders ahead of me. I go stand in front of pick up counter and see no one assembling orders. Two boys come out of side door and debate who's doing what. One boy starts making order before mine. Girl walks past and goofing off chit chatting with boys. Still no one pouring my soup order. Stood there about 5 minutes watching this girl who was supposed to be handling the soup orders goofing off with the other boy that was doing nothing. I finally get tired off this display and go to the register to get my money back. In the meantime the girl who took my order went to ask the girl who was goofing off where the soup was at. She sarcastically said she was getting it all the while giving me dirty looks. Are you kidding me?!? Then your so called manager is all put out that she has to open the register to give me my money back. Doesn't ask me a thing and never apologized. Great customer service Panera. I have gone into this store numerous times and have never been treated or watched a display as I did. The staff should be aware the customers are watching everything they're doing and what they are saying. You lost a customer here and I will be sure to pass the word to people I know not to go in there. What a shame!
drive thru
I visited the drive through at store #3806 recently and after waiting 17 minutes at the drive thru before being able to place my order I was greeted by a girl simply saying "yes" instead of how can I help you? There was only 1 car in front of me. After I ordered my cold sandwich and small soup I continued to wait another 18 minutes at the window and the girl never told me my total just took my card and never said there would be such a long wait for my items. She was cleaning and stocking things the entire time while I saw my food sitting there the entire time. She finally gave me my order and instead of apologizing for the wait or anything she simply threw the bag and closed the window, my soup was spilled and of course she didn't include any of the napkins in my order that she was stocking in the restaurant. It wasn't busy so there was no excuse for that type of customer service. My entire order that I waited over half and hour for was completely ruined. I emailed customer service about the issue and have yet to get a response.
produce
Hello, my son and I were traveling to Penn State and we stopped for food at the cafe in Murrysville PA. The lettuce on his sandwich was brown and decayed. I took a picture of it to send to you. The cafe was very busy and we were in a hurry so I was not able to speak to the manager at the time. Not to mention my son was on crutches at the time and everything we did took us forever.
Thank you.
All other service was great and we love the food at pa era!
