They shut off my electric with no notice in the middle of a heat wave. The agent never faced my medical form to my Dr and now they refuse to expedite processing of my medical form and are telling me I have to be without electricity for 3 days even though the actual processing time is 24 hours. Had the agent faxed the form yesterday my service would have been restored . Instead I had to spend 90 minutes on the phone to get them to send the fax. The fax was immediately submitted by my Dr and several agents have confirmed that it's been received however they want me to wait another 24 to 72 hours for life sustaining services that would have been restored had the agent done what she said she was doing. I've been passed around to phones thay aren't answered and weird robo voices and hung up on and nobody is willing to resolve the issue that was created by your company. This is deplorable. I am currently on hold with an agent who picked up my call and refuses to speak which is common practice. They connect to your call and do nothing to avoid having to take other calls and disconnect you when they close. I am having life sustaining services withheld from me, my child, and my elderly housemate due to a failure in your company and it's atrocious. Its also atrocious that you have no corporate contact information and refuse to treat your customers like humans. You should be ashamed.
Claimed loss: My life and my jib because I can't communicate
Desired outcome: Money deducted from my bill and am immediate reinstatement of my life sustaining services.

Dealing with PECO sounds like a real-life horror story. Having your power shut off during a heat wave is a twist no one wants. It’s like being in a bad movie where the villain is a fax machine that refuses to work on time.
You deserve a medal for enduring that customer service labyrinth. Here’s hoping someone finally flips the right switch and gets you back in the cool. Until then, maybe invest in some battery-powered fans to help you and your family stay cool — you might even have to consider playing charades with that mysterious hold music!
Wishing you a speedy resolution and a quick return to modern comforts.
