illegal charges on my credit card.
My name is Asgerdur Eythorsdottir and In October 2017 I ordered a package from Platinum Millennium which I only had to pay packaging. I received the package but now I have been charged on my credit card, twice, 67$ that I have never agreed to. I want this to be refunded as soon as possible. This is stealing and I want this to stop as of right now. Please be so kind to refund me this 134$ so that the matter can be resolved.

ploting your way to success from www.writerslife.com
I bought this pack on September 2017. There was only a shipping fee of 19.75 $ + 1$, but my credit card has repeatedly been chaarged of a sum of 67.73$ since.
I sent a mail to the vendor but have had no response.
Please:
1- stop these charges immediately
2- reimburse the extra payments (apart from the 19.75$ first payment)
Note that this sly practice of sneaky recurring payments is destroying whatever trust is left in Internet marketing.
I will think more than twice before buying anything on the Internet again!

charges on my visa I did not make
My August MasterCard bill shows charges to Platinum Millenium that I did not make. The number that shows on my bill is not in service. How is one supposed to request a refund if one cannot reach the company?
There were 3 charges for "professional services" on 7/13/17:
1) $37.00; 2) $0.99; and, 3) $47.00.
There was another charge for "professional services" on 7/28/17 for $67.73.
There was another charge for "professional services" on 8/28/17 for $67.73.
As a retiree, I simply cannot afford for a company to arbitrarily charge things to my account. If possible, I am seeking a refund of these charges.

unauthorized debit card charges
I have had numerous charges on my debit card by Platinum Millennium Publishing. My bank have issued me with a new card so they now can not charge me any more. I have not got all the transactions noted but I could do that. The charges go back to early July this year. I do not believe I have received any products or services from Platinum Millennium and I now do not expect to.

I never ordered this and cannot find a telephone number to try and straighten it out. It is a $67 debit every month. Please help as I am on fixed income and cannot afford this money on my credit card.

Please stop the billing asap. A refund would be nice since I never received any such product. I don't want to provide the credit card number for safety reasons. It does end in 7118.

unauthorized credit card charges
At one occasion did I look into this company's advertisement in connection with writing about music.
I provided the details as required, but I did not order or buy anything from them. I realised what they offered was not for me, so I reclined. As far as I was concerned it was end of story.
Since I had a longterm illness, I was not completely on top of all my admin. Now that I am better, I've taken a long and hard look into my bank affairs.
This morning I discovered this company was helping themselves to my credit card account. There was no sign of their identity on my statement. Once I Googled the reference(?) number next to the transaction, up came the name of this shark's company.
Since it is Sunday today, I couldn't go into the whole matter, but I suspect the unauthorised charges has a long history with my credit card. I traced only six transactions between 13 January 2017 and 12 June 2017. The more or less monthly amounts vary between £15.91 and £16.46.
I request a refund of all charges made to my credit card as soon as possible. I'll get hold of more information tomorrow.
The only documents I can show at the moment are my bank statements and I don't want to provide them right now.
Thank you.
Kind regards,
Alice Hendriks-Boshoff

Last month I cancelled this, due to me not knowing that it would be debited to my account over and over. Please remove this charge from my account refunding my money. I did not authorized this, if this is not met, I will be contacting my credit card services and file a complaint.
Thank you,
Imogene Collins
Dear Platinummillennium, I did not authorize all the withdrawals that are being made on my debit card. Please put a stop immediately to these. Several withdrawals were made on 12 August for K59.93; K123.53; K15.59; K123.53; 16 August K3.30; K26.55; and 25 August K226.14. PLEASE CEASE YOUR TAKING MY MONEY OUT OF MY BANK ACCOUNT WHICH I DID NOT AUTHORIZE. THANK YOU, Alurigo Ravusiro
unauthorised monthly credit card deductions
Having this week off from work and getting my finance sorted. I have only just discovered the unauthorised monthly deductions being taken from my credit card from Platinum Millennium. I I did make one purchase back in October 2016 of $10.35 and have been charged every month since between $26 and $27Aud, depending on the value of the Australian dollar, plus foreign exchange fees each time. I am appalled and disgusted of how they operate taking advantage of unsuspected people. Knowing this I immediately cancelled my credit card so these scammers could have no more. The total amount I was scammed was around $290.00 Aud. I can prove all of this through my credit card and can attach this information, please show me how. I want the company to refund all the amounts that I did not purchase. Thank you Lisa

withdrawals
I am being charged regular amounts on my Visa. I do not authorise this to occur. I withdraw any form of agreement that may have existed beyond my knowing.
I ask that all moneys be refunded and as this is the third time I have asked this to be so I ask that it be actioned in the very first instance.
I am currently living homelessly and this money you are taking from me is money I need for the most basic living requirements.
Sincerely
Joanne Kearns

money for nothing
Hi,
Approximately 12 months ago I ordered a book that would help me with my writing. I entered my card details as I acquired a book for a cost. Since them I have had more money taken out several times and I have not authorised this deductions. This has occurred for nearly 12 months so far. I would like to address the "free book", and would like to have this company accountable for its infringements. I am not the only one who has had this issue. What happened to honest trading.
Stop and return my money.
Kerry Reed
Money has been taken out of our account without our permission. It is dishonest to take money on the pretence that a book is for free then to take money on a monthly thing and get nothing back is THEFT...

unauthorized credit card withdrawal
Dear David Steel,
You are a total conman and have stolen money from my wife's account under the guise of Platinum Millennium Publishing! We only found out this information an hour ago on my wife's bank statement. She is 77 years old and will lay a charge against your bogus company tomorrow with Interpol. Fortunately, the bank has not released the funds to you yet.
We will obviously raise a dispute at the bank tomorrow, but urge you to write a letter by return mail, whereby you authorize the bank to transfer the amount bank into her account.
Should you not do this, you will face the consequences as described re Interpol. I have read the complaints against your :bogus" operation on the Platinum Millennium Publishing blog and will never understand how you can cheat people of their money as you have.
Should you not send the letter requested, kindly refund her money (South African Rand 879.98 ($67)) IMMEDIATELY.
Yours faithfully,
Wiets Roets

unauthorised credit card deduction
I noticed an entry on my credit card statement for US$9.97 from this company.
I had not ordered anything. If they have charged me for a membership of something, I did not request one so I have requested that they please cancel it and refund my money US$9.97 plus the foreign transfer fee.
I have made it quite clear that I do not want to subscribe to any membership or receive any products from Platinum Millennium and that I expect an immediate refund of the amount above. Also do not make any further deductions from my credit card in the future.

recurring charges going back to 2016
I sent for the free material & decided it was meh.
apparently in the small print was the opt out button, otherwise you get rebilled monthly. I belive that these are sneaky & deceitful business practices.
I did NOT OPT-IN! I did not sign away access to my card for purchases in pepartuity!
These monthly, and sometimes more than monthly, charges of $19.95 were charged to my card without specific details of what the charges were for.
I discovered they had been charging me since early 2016 while reconciliation of my charge card purchases for doing my taxes.
I want a complete & total refund for all monthly charges from PlatinumMillenial from the beginning of 2016 through to this past week.

unauthorised deductions plus international fees
I ordered the writers kit + free sign as a gift for my son, unaware of the ongoing charges. That "free" sign has now cost me over $50.
What i'm supposed to be getting for that I have no idea.
I live in queensland australia so coming & beating down your door for a full refund is not possible but reporting you and posting on facebook what a con ypur writers life product is, this I can & will do.
You can contact me to inform when you will be returning my money only, there will be no discussing how else you can make this right.
Until then expect postings in your advertisements advising "scammer alwrt"

unauthorized monthly visa card charges.
I have only just noticed the repetitive pattern of deductions from my Visa Debit Card by this company, because, having bought a few of their online ebooks, I was accustomed to seeing their "Platinum Millennium" details on my bank statement. It was only when I saw the latest one, on 19/01/17, that I decided to check, because I have not ordered anything recently.
To my horror, I found a clear monthly pattern of deductions from my Visa account. The actual amount varies because of the varying exchange rate between the USA and Australian dollar, but is between A$26 and A$28, plus foreign exchange fees each time.
I am attaching details of all nine of them as an edited extract from my bank statement.**
I want the company to refund all these amounts immediately. The total, excluding foreign exchange charges is A$257.76.
**PS. I am unable to work out how to attach the PDF document showing these monthly charges. I tried using the Add Photos tab below but it does't support PDF. Please tell me how to do this.

I have been experiencing the same thing too. There have been deductions of 67.73 for the past three months. I did not order any sort of membership and am only getting daily useless emails. I called last month to cancel this membership I never ordered, yet once again on November 16 my credit card was charged 67.73. My credit card company is working to resolve the first two charges. What a way of doing business.. All I got was a stupid 'free' sign.
I experienced exactly the same today. To my total suprise I was charged yesterday 67 dollares for something I do not remember to have ordered. Right now I will inform my bank that I will not pay, not this amount not any further. Apparently it is not nearly that transparent as the seller claims, as I was not conscious about contracting a membership of whatsoever neither I was willing to. For the simple reason that I don´t need it and never did. I hope the case is solved and my money will be refunded as soon as possible.
I too have just realised my credit card has been charged twice for the same amount and I didn't order anything from Writer's Life apart from paying the postage for a cute writer's notice to give to my sister as she is a writer. It is sad to think that people are being charged a monthly amount for 'nothing'.
I have emailed the support @ platinummillennium.com in an effort to have my money refunded.
hello, you claim that the offer is transparent, but it is not. Membership offers until recently were free and people don't expect them to be linked to a payment, leave alone a recurring one. the statement you mention leaves too much room for misunderstanding, which is proven by the mumber of people who are complaining about this perfectly unjustified practice.
This is happening to me as well I only bought a few things in writer's life but that was it. I checked my bank and sure enough that was there. All of a sudden after till now I noticed it and was thinking what did I buy today that was $67 when i barely woke up. I was thinking a subscription and went ahead and checked again had to search up and realized it was becuase of this. I didn't know there was a monthly thing going on but I'm probably going to cancel my card if it keeps showing up. I guessed I was the only one with this problem but seems it happened before.
unauthorized charges on my credit card
After a call from my credit card company about charges to my account, I went back over my statements and find that this company has charged me $120.58. I decided to check them out and discover that they are behind Writers Life. I did order a "free" book from them, paying a $1.00 mailing fee. Now where the $119.58 comes from, I do not know. I have been very ill and hospitalized for some weeks which has thrown me behind on checking my statements. I am 82 years old, retired, on a fixed income, and there is no way in the world that I can pay these charges without using my grocery money! What can I do to get help with this and stop any future charges.

I noticed that the monthly fees fluctuate from over $100 (CND) to $90+ (CND). I am just getting over eye surgeries and have found several of these charges now that I can see my bills. It’s taking money away from groceries and medical bills! I know I did not watch any video now did I sign up for this monthly membership ! I have received not her emails from them either! No confirmation or chance to decline this memebershio and it’s outrageously high fee for a something I have not gotten anything out of!
Also dealing with this. As for the company’s response, there was absolutely NO “transparency” as to their “membership”. I am very careful not to select these, since I tend to not use and forget about them, so I always select “no” when it’s offered. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS.
I too have been charged over £280 for this company's "services". I contacted my credit card company and they phoned this company, requesting cancellation of my account and a refund. They will only pay 2 months' refund and I have paid five...my credit card company are launching a misrepresentation case against the company for the balance.
I also got charged, though I explicitly did not check the Yes / No button and I read through all the information when ordering my information package for a small amount. When instead of a confirmation page, I was sent to a page about the trial offer, I did not order the trial, but aborted the web session.
Still, I got charged and sent a reclamation via my credit card company, as a direct contact via e-mail or contact form had not been possible or been ignored.
You sent documents that are not true, as I never did check a button for a trial, which needs to be cancelled after two weeks or gets into a monthly payment of about US$ 70, - and so the proof you sent for my supposed order are not correct.
I expect an immediate refund, as otherwise I declare this case an open and intentional fraud.
I have just been charged on my bank card for an amount I did not authorize them to take. I ‘purchased’ a ‘free’ book from Writers Life, which I still haven’t received nor have I received any communication with regards to this purchase. I most certainly did not sign up for any kind of membership as I cannot afford this. I need the payment refunded in order to be able to pay bills this month. Extremely frustrated and do not recommend ever purchasing anything through this so called company.
This is a sneaky company! Even when they claimed that they stated in the small print regarding the charges... they did NOT give a monthly statement through email to let u know that they have been charging you. You won't even remember where is the log in page or how to log in, because you have never asked for it. they will sneakily charge u membership and hoping u never realise. i only discovered it when I was looking through my statement and wondered what is that platinummilleniumpubl all about. No matter how much resources they have... it does NOT make a difference trying to con us our money WITHOUT EXPLICITLY telling us that they are going to bill us. Even if it is in the small print, they should follow up with membership letters to remind us that we are being billed. i can't even find a trace of where are my log in details or when i signed up for anything... is there something amiss? anyway, i have reported to the authorities and investigation is going on at the moment... just to warn whoever read this.. this company is sneaky and fishy.
I just dealt with them and they ended up refunding my card so keep bugging them. They claimed I watched a video and then clicked to join. I remember that because i couldn’t see any other options. They are sneaky as can be. They know exactly what they are doing and they hope no one catches on. The replies I got from their complaints department were snippy but they did comply eventually.
I have ordered one item from Writers.org, but just a little bit later, I have noticed a much larger unauthorized charge on my account (67, 73 USD).
I was really shocked because I most certainly did not give approval for this amount! I think I was scammed because I see here many similar cases with customers having the same problem as me.
I would like to cancel any of the so called “memberships” or any other approvals from me because they were certainly not authorized by me. I haven’t seen anything on their web pages about this membership and I am so disappointed. I have written to their customer support mail, but I haven’t received any response yet. This is a big cost for my budget. I don’t know what else to do?
I am also dealing with this fraud from this company. I just got off the phone with my bank and I have to either get them to refund the money, which I absolutely did not authorize, or cancel my card which is a huge pain as I have legitimate payments through it each month and it will be a nightmare to get resolved with each company. I've emailed them as my bank needs written confirmation. My fear is that I've now lost the $91.73 I was charged, which I cannot afford, and that I will have to cancel my card. Lesson learned. Never again will I order from that company and I will be warning all my writer friends on the various groups I belong to. I'm furious!
I've just looked at my bank statement and see that I have been charged $67 by Platinum Millenium 4 times. I did order an ebook from Writer's Life and a Sign a while back, ($7.95 and $0.99) but I definitely did not sign up for a membership and I would like that money refunded immediately. There is obviously no transparency if they are catching people this way. I am absolutely disgusted. crmeeson@hotmail.com. I live in Australia

I didn't order any product
My credit card was charged for the amount in Australian dollars of $29.41 and I have no recollection of ordering anything from this company. My Bank has advised me that this is a fraudulent charge and that I still have to write and cancel any publication or payment scheme with you may consider that I signed up for, as I HAVE NOT DONE THIS EVER. Whatever it is I want to unsubscribe from it now. Do not charge me again. I have taken the precaution of destroying my credit card on the advice of my bank. they took another sum from me for something that I haven't ordered
I have ordered one item from Platinum Millennium Publishing. Money was taken on the next day and I got the order on time, but 3 days later I went to check my account and I noticed unauthorized charge. This company decided to scam me and took another sum from me. I was shocked with such behavior and such illegal actions. I tried to get money back, but this company didn’t communicate with me or with the bank. Beware!
