Disappointing Experience with PoolWeb: Slow Shipping and Security Issues
Website say "got stuff" but it ain't really true all the time. I had to wait mad long for my shipment, like weeks on weeks on weeks. Ain't nobody got time for that.
To make matters worse, my credit card info got jacked. And PoolWeb was pressuring me like they were the feds or something. Saying they were gonna sic collections on me if I didn't pay up ASAP. It took me like a hot minute to get my new card and give them the updated info, but they were still on my back like a bad rash.
Overall, not a great experience. Would I recommend PoolWeb? Let's just say, they ain't getting a gold star from me any time soon.
False Advertising Alert: Hayward Pool Light Scam by PoolWeb
I recently tried to buy a Hayward pool light from PoolWeb. But when I got my package, the light wasn't what I expected at all! It was a much cheaper light than the one advertised on the website that I clicked on. I couldn't believe it! And when I emailed PoolWeb to fix the issue, they tried to make me believe I had ordered that cheaper light all along. What a bunch of lies!
It makes me wonder how long they've been scamming people like this and still being marked as a trusted store by Google. If they're going to be advertising one product and then sending out a completely different one, then they shouldn't be allowed to sell anything online. This is complete false advertising and it's not acceptable.
In the end, I demanded a refund right away and returned the product to them. But the whole incident left a bad taste in my mouth and I'll never buy anything from PoolWeb again. It's too bad they didn't care about their reputation, because I'm sure I'm not the only one they've done this to. Beware, other shoppers!
Avoid PoolWeb: Terrible Customer Service and Wrong Product Delivered
I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with PoolWeb and it was not a pleasant one. I ordered a custom pool cover through their website and had a sales rep assist me throughout the process. However, when I received the product, I was shocked to find out that it was the wrong size! This mistake was clearly on their end, but instead of owning up to it, they refused to make things right. I was beyond frustrated - what kind of business treats their customers like this?
After waiting for almost a month to receive a cover that was useless to me, I decided to reverse the charges with my credit card company. I was done dealing with PoolWeb and their unprofessional behavior. Now, I have to find another website to purchase a pool cover from. This whole experience has been a huge hassle and a waste of time.
It's a shame that a company like PoolWeb would treat their customers this way. I would not recommend using their services to anyone. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.
Disappointing Experience with PoolWeb: Defective Cover and Unfair Shipping Fees
I recently bought a cover for my Jacuzzi cartridge filter tank from PoolWeb, and unfortunately, I had a pretty unpleasant experience. The cover I received was visibly out of round by 3/8 inches, which obviously left me pretty frustrated. When I reached out to PoolWeb to tell them that the cover was defective, they told me that it actually met the manufacturer's guidelines and therefore wasn't considered to be defective.
After hearing this, I asked if I should just try pounding the cover on with a rubber mallet and see what happens. However, the support team didn't seem to have a clear answer for me and basically just said that the decision was up to me. Under normal circumstances, I wouldn't want to risk causing any damage to my pool equipment, so I decided to return the cover instead.
However, the part that really got to me was that I was told I'd have to pay for the shipping myself, despite the fact that the cover was clearly defective. This just didn't seem fair to me at all. If the product hadn't been faulty, I would have had no problem paying for shipping. But considering the situation, I really don't think that I should have to foot the bill.
All in all, I was pretty disappointed with my experience at PoolWeb. It's a shame, because I was really hoping to find a trustworthy online retailer for all my pool-related needs. However, based on this experience, I'm not sure I'll be using PoolWeb again in the future. If you're looking for a reliable pool supply store, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.
Buyer Beware: My Experience with PoolWeb.com
I just wanted to share my thoughts on PoolWeb.com, a company that sells pool supplies and accessories online. I recently ordered a part for my pool cleaner from them, thinking that it would arrive within 3 to 5 days, as stated on their website. Much to my dismay, I received an email moments after I had confirmed my order, stating that the part was out of stock.
The email also mentioned that due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the part may not be in stock for another month, with no guarantees, and that I would be notified once the part was shipped. Confused and frustrated, I attempted to cancel my order. However, instead of being directed to a simple cancellation process, I was sent to a lengthy return policy, which stated that I would be charged a 25% restocking fee, along with a charge for a shipping label.
Now, how can they restock something that they never had in stock in the first place? It baffles me how a company can enforce restocking fees on items that they themselves failed to have in stock. To me, this just screams that they are not a legitimate company.
All in all, I would advise anyone thinking of ordering from PoolWeb.com to be cautious and maybe look elsewhere for their pool supply needs.
PoolWeb Review: Unreliable Products and Poor Customer Service, Better Business Bureau Complaints
I ain't gonna lie y'all, the thing I got from PoolWeb didn't work. So I decided to hit up their website to try to return it, but nobody got back to me. I called 'em up and they told me they'd shoot me an email with return deets, but I never got that joint. Frustrated, I called them again, but got bounced around all over the place before finally being told that they wouldn't take it back because it was busted. Like, what?! They be sending out whack stuff and then trippin' when it don't work?! And let me tell y'all, they was hella rude and unhelpful about the whole thing.
I did some digging and found out that I ain't the only one who's had trouble getting these fools to take back their janky products. And it ain't just regular folks like me complainin' either - they got multiple complaints filed with the Better Business Bureau. So if you thinkin' of orderin' from PoolWeb, you might wanna think twice. Ain't nothin' worse than gettin' treated like trash by some company that can't get their act together.
PoolWeb's Lack of Customer Service: A Disappointing Experience That Requires a Refund
I just want my money back! It is frustrating and disappointing to experience such lack of customer service. It is concerning that they did not take responsibility and find a solution to the problem. It seems like they just want to wash their hands off the situation and blame it on someone else.
I think PoolWeb should step up and take responsibility for their actions. As a customer, I have the right to expect more from them. This is not acceptable behavior and it reflects poorly on their business. I would recommend finding an alternative company for your pool needs. It is not worth the hassle and frustration to deal with companies like this.
In conclusion, I am highly disappointed with my experience with PoolWeb. They have failed to deliver on their promises and provide adequate customer service. It is essential to have trust in a business to ensure a good customer experience. Unfortunately, this company has lost my trust and I will not be doing business with them again. I hope they take this feedback seriously and make the necessary changes to improve their services.
Disappointed by Delayed Delivery of 8ft Diving Board from PoolWeb Due to COVID-19
I gotta say, I was super excited to finally get me an 8 foot diving board from PoolWeb when I placed my order back on July 14th, 2020. It was gonna be the crown jewel of my backyard oasis! But boy oh boy, was I in for a surprise.
After I placed my order, I was told that things were gonna be delayed 'cause of COVID-19. Fair enough, I mean, we're all dealing with that, right? But then, when my expected delivery date of August 21st came and went, I was getting antsy. I decided to give PoolWeb a call to figure out what was going on.
That's when I found out the real deal - they only get these boards from one supplier, SR Smith, and they were delayed. Oh, great. Now what? I mean, I get it, COVID's messing with everyone's schedules, but come on - if PoolWeb knew this was happening, why didn't they let me know? It's my money we're talking about here, after all.
Anyway, after I expressed my concern, PoolWeb told me the expected shipping date was now September 8th, a whole 9 weeks after I made the order. I mean, that's just not cool, right? Like, what kind of business doesn't let you know this stuff ahead of time? I wish they'd offered me the option to cancel or something, but nope. I was stuck waiting for my diving board.
Sure, PoolWeb's not the one making the boards, but they're the ones taking our money and promising us delivery dates. If they're gonna have to rely on one supplier, they should at least let us buyers know what's going on. I don't think that's too much to ask. So, yeah, I eventually got my diving board (woo!), but the whole experience left a sour taste in my mouth. Next time, I think I'll shop around a bit more to make sure I'm not left in the dark.
Buyer Beware: Disappointing Experience with PoolWeb and Hayward for Pool Replacement Part
PoolWeb seemed like a good option for me to purchase a replacement part for my pool. The agent was very helpful and told me that she would show the pictures of the item to the shippers to make sure that I received the item I needed. I had also called Hayward, the manufacturer of the part, and described the size and number of bolts as well as the color. They gave me a number which seemed correct, which I then gave to PoolWeb as they had stated that they had the item with the pictures and description.
However, after receiving the item and having to send it back due to an error, I contacted Hayward again for help. I was shocked to learn that my item was no longer manufactured, which was nowhere mentioned in the pictures depicting what I wanted. The only clue was the color, Taupe, but there could still be white models. Neither company took any responsibility for the mistake, and the restock shipping was a hefty $45!
Frustrated with the experience, I turned to Amazon in search of a replacement. I found what appeared to be the same item and purchased it. Unfortunately, upon receiving it, I discovered that it was smaller and had only 24 bolts instead of the 30 that I needed. As I always say, "Me plenty gus-dusted!" Luckily, the input pipes had the same separation and vertical configuration, so I may still be able to mount it in place of the old one with a 15" pad underneath.
Overall, I cannot recommend either company based on my experience. While I have no direct proof that this was intentional, I cannot help but wonder if there was incompetence or indifference at play. As I like to remind companies like Coke and Delta, "You are not the only game in town". In conclusion, buyer beware of both PoolWeb and Hayward. 'Nuff said.
Buyer Beware: Terrible Experience with PoolWeb - False Advertising and Poor Customer Service
PoolWeb is not the kind of company you want to do business with. Their behavior shows a complete lack of care for their customers. I had a terrible experience with them when I was searching for a replacement filter for my pool. I found it on their site, and the item was stated to be exactly what I needed, even showing a photo of the filter I needed.
When the filter arrived, it was a completely different product. It was only 1/3 of the height it should have been at about 10" tall, when the filter I needed was 30" tall. Even more disturbing, it was not even a "Pentair genuine replacement cartridge element" as stated. They clearly committed false advertising and fraud on their customers.
Despite the fact they falsely advertised their product and provided the wrong item, they would only partially refund or reimburse me for the cost of shipping. They deducted $10.60 from my refund amount, which is 17.5% of the product cost. When I contacted them, they refused to accept any responsibility and placed all blame on me, the customer.
As an online sales business, it is PoolWeb's responsibility to ensure that the photos and description of products are accurate. When they fail to do so, they should honor their product guarantee and offer hassle-free returns, which they advertise on their website. Instead, they are dishonest and unwilling to take responsibility for their wrongdoing.
Overall, PoolWeb's lack of integrity and poor customer service make them an unreliable choice for anyone searching to buy pool products online. Be careful with their marketing and get all the details before making a purchase so you don't have the same experience as I did. Don't be fooled by false advertising and slick sales tactics used on their website.

PoolWeb Review: Unreliable, Confusing, and Poor Customer Service - Look Elsewhere for Pool Supplies
PoolWeb is a pretty bad website, man. I thought I could get something out of it but they took my money and I didn't get anything in return. It's such a bummer because I really wanted to get some cool stuff for my pool, but now I gotta look elsewhere for a trustworthy source.
The website itself is kinda confusing and hard to navigate. I mean, it looks nice and professional and all, but it's just hard to find what you're looking for. And when you do finally find what you want, it's always out of stock or something.
I've had a couple of bad experiences with PoolWeb and I don't think I'll be coming back anytime soon. The customer service is pretty terrible too. They never respond to emails and they don't have a phone number you can call. What kind of company does that?
Honestly, there are probably better pool websites out there that are more reliable and easier to use. Don't waste your time and money on PoolWeb like I did. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.
Beware of Incomplete PoolWeb Products - Hidden Costs May Apply
PoolWeb got some products missin' parts, it's increasin' the advertised cost by 30% to get the whole package. Gotta beware, folks, like with them solar pool cover clips from PoolWeb, the reel clips are missin'. Might need to buy 'em separately.
Disappointing Shipping Policy at PoolWeb: A Review
So, I wanted to get some pool supplies from PoolWeb (poolweb.com) website, and I gotta tell ya, I'm not really impressed with their shipping policy. Let me explain, if you pony up the dough for next day shipping, you'd think you'd get your pool goodies stat, right? Wrong! Unfortunately, it seems like it doesn't really matter if you do that or not, because they may use the fancy next day postal service, but they still like to take their sweet time getting your stuff out of their store. I mean, what's the point of paying extra, am I right? Needless to say, I won't be using them again, and I suggest to anyone reading this, to think twice before ordering from them.

Unreliable website with false information and cancelled orders
This website ain't no good, it's all full of fibs and falsehoods. I tried to order some stuff and I got a message saying that my order was cancelled coz of some information on the site being wrong. They got all the stuff I wanted in stock, but they still wouldn't give me what I paid for. What kind of bunk is that?
PoolWeb Review: False in-stock items, long wait times, and high restocking fees
So, I went to PoolWeb to order some pool equipment that was marked "in stock". I was excited to finally get my hands on them. But to my dismay, when I talked to their customer service, they said that the items weren't actually available. After waiting for two months, we finally received the products. But then, we were slapped with a whopping restocking fee! It was outrageous! We were so disappointed that we felt like PoolWeb had stolen over $200 of our money, and we were left with a very bad taste in our mouths. Needless to say, we won't be ordering from PoolWeb again. Just a heads up, everyone, be careful when ordering from this website.
Disappointing Delivery: My Experience with PoolWeb
PoolWeb was not a great experience for me when I ordered a vital component for my swimming pool. I wanted to receive it quickly, and they promised the delivery would arrive the following day. I was glad to hear it, especially with a busy weekend at the pool coming up, but there was no delivery on the next day. Instead, it wasn't until Monday that the package finally arrived.
I found out later that the shipping company was not capable of delivery over the weekend, and PoolWeb knew that beforehand but still gave me false promises. I was quite disappointed, as it meant missing out on a vital weekend of pool activities. The FedEx charge of $38.00 added to my frustration.
Even though the part was the right one and eventually arrived, I don't think I'll use PoolWeb again. The quality of the product may be good, but if I can't have a reliable delivery, it's just not worth it. Better to shop elsewhere with more dependable shipping and no added fees.
Disappointing Delivery Delays from PoolWeb – A Frustrating Experience
So I been waiting for my pool stuff from PoolWeb for over a month. Two dang emails they done sent me talking about how the delivery gonna be late. I don't get why they can't just tell me that something outta stock before I place the order. Now I gotta wait a whole extra month for my stuff to show up. It's frustrating that they talk about fast delivery but can't deliver on time. Maybe they need to get they act together and let folks know what's really going on before we order. Ain't nobody got time for all this waiting around.
Buyer Beware: PoolWeb Might Be a Scam - Frustrating Hose Purchase Experience
So, I bought a hose from PoolWeb. I thought it was the right replacement hose from sand filter to pump, but it turned out not to be. They charged me $41.00 for it which was already a lot, but then I had to pay $8.00 to ship it back. They only gave me a refund of $24.00 and some change. So, that means that I spent $25.00 for nothing! I'm pretty frustrated right now and I think PoolWeb might just be a scam. Be careful if you plan on buying from them.
Poor Customer Service and Refusal to Take Responsibility: My PoolWeb Review
Yeah so, I gotta be real with y'all. I had to send back some stuff I got from PoolWeb and let me tell you, it was no easy task. They did not seem to give two hoots about me or my needs and, honestly, it was a pretty big bummer. Like, come on now, ain't nobody got time for that kind of poor customer service.
And let me tell you, it wasn't just their lack of concern for me. They also refused to take responsibility for their own mistakes. Like, if they mess something up, shouldn't they make it right? But nope, not with PoolWeb. They just leave you out to dry and it really rubs me the wrong way.
After all of that nonsense, I decided to take my business elsewhere and boy am I glad I did. I found the same darn parts for cheaper somewhere else! Can you believe that? So, yeah, y'all should probably steer clear of PoolWeb if you don't want to deal with a bunch of headaches.
Subpar Experience with PoolWeb: Delayed Delivery, Damaged Gasket, and No Negative Reviews Allowed
I jus had my firs experience with PoolWeb and it was not great. I ordered a gasket to fix a leak in my pool and I had to wait a whole week for it to arrive. When it finally got here, I was disappointed to find that the gasket had a big gash in it. I was not happy about having to deal with the warranty department to try and figure this out.
But what really rubbed me the wrong way was how I couldn't leave a negative review on their site. It's like they only want to show the good stuff and don't care about the bad. I wanted to upload a picture of the gasket and my sales receipt but it wouldn't let me.
Overall, my experience with PoolWeb was subpar. I just hope they step up their game with customer service and handling negative reviews in the future.
