Incorrect orders
On 04/28/2022, I placed an order on Postmates app. I ordered Mango sorbet. However, the delivery person grabbed Coffee Chocolate Chip. I reported this incident to Postmates who responded after 24 hours and said they issues a refund for that item. That was the first time I reported a bad order to Postmates
On 05/03/2022, I placed another order on Postmates. I ordered a 12pk of variety cookies and 15oz of skittles. The Postmates delivery person grabbed a 20pk of the wrong cookies and only grabbed a 9oz bag of skittles. I take pictures and report to Postmates because I can see that I was charged for the items I didn’t receive and were incorrect. Postmates responds and said that “I have several orders with price adjustment or refunds”. I literally only reported one bad order. The Postmates delivery person is the one who grabbed the wrong item, why punish the paying customer?
It is clear that Postmates could care less about customer experience and are very money hungry. It is untrustworthy to provide an option to report issues with order, but then punish the customer for reporting a bad order. I don’t want to pay all this money for delivery just to receive incorrect items. But Postmates wants us hard working customers to just accept incorrect orders. I will be seeking legal counsel because thats bad business and customer retaliation!

I ordered taco del Mar in Puyallup wa,the first order was not showing the arrival thru the app after about 50 mins,l reordered the same thing and ask the second driver if his order was the only one prepared he said he asked the staff at taco del Mar they said it was not a duplicate that this was the only order ,well the hospital gave me 2 orders 50+ is too expensive for a burrito and drink. I'm going to try to cancel payment for the extra order.
Charged twice for you error
On February 28th I ordered a meal from the Iron Horse Tavern. Zachary was in charge of delivering my meal. He delivered it to the wrong apartment complex. I tried to cancel to cancel the order and re-order it. Low and behold, I rec'd the new one but then another one was dropped at my door and I was charged for two when I only wanted one. Please refund me on at least one if not two due to the fact that I have been trying to resolve this with your non-existent customer service dept. Thank you. Sunny Lyman

I placed an order on February 24, 2021. I never received items in my order. I immediately reached out to Postmates to inform them and they refused to refund my money for the purchased items. I emailed them several times stating I wanted a portion of my money back and they refused to refund it with no explanation besides it was not their fault and I could leave a review. I would like my money back because I did not receive the item I ordered.

Promo scam
I received an email with an email with a promo up to 65% off. I clicked on it and per my postmates account, I did have the promo and it was applied to my order. Took a screenshot to send to a friend. Subtotal was $51.35, promotion took off $33.38, total was $25.28, not including tip which was $8. Overall charge should've been $33.28. However after I placed the order and saw my email and bank statement, I was charged $68.48. Even tho I changed the card the money would be pulled from, there's no excuse for it taking off the promo when it's applied to my account and not my card.

Service
On 2/8/2022 I place an order around 5 pm to be delivered at 8 pm. I didn't have time to cook but wanted a warm dinner.
My dinner showed up around 815 COLD. Driver said he got stuck in traffic. I live 1.5 miles away. Store is just outside subdivision. There is no place to get stuck in traffic. So I paid $13 to get a cold dinner late
Arby's
I just ordered from the restaurant this evening. My fish sandwich and milkshake were not included in my order. I would like my food or my money back. I cannot afford to just give money away and not get what I pay for.
Partial order was received at 8:30pm, 2/5/22. The store ordered from was Arby's at 5150 North High st.

Postmates service
Ordered from the website menu, upon checkout, the app added 20% fee so they could text me the progress of the order that I drove to pick up. Further, comparing the price to the menu at the store, they added $3.00 to every item I ordered. So...approximately 50% increase. Even more, I am sitting in the restaurant now, 15 minutes past the "pick up time" Absolute scam DO NOT USE

Non-delivery service charge
Was charged a service fee for a non-delivery item. I expressly specified (button option) I would pick the items up at the location and was still charged $2.92. I then followed up with an agent (Emma) via the inline chat interface and was told I would be refunded the $2.92 service fee. I was provided a confirmation number and was told I should see a refund of the $2.92 in the next 3-5 business days to my account. The next day I receive a communication stating I was refunded $0.71 and meanwhile, prior to resolving the issue was submitted a satisfactory survey that I cannot complete because of a http 404 error. I'm still unclear as to why I was charged a $2.92 service fee with a non-delivery item when ordering from a local establishment. This seems to be a crafty marketing ploy to generate income using this platform rather than going directly to the establishment themselves. Transaction fees are pennies on the dollar and charging someone an almost 20% markup that I was picking up anyway seems a bit extreme. I wonder how many others have gone through this same issue. Another online business scheme lacking business foundation and depends on marketing prowess.
Desired outcome: Refund my entire service fee.
Postmates food delivery
I placed a large food order through the Postmates app. Two hours later, I received a text from the driver that the restaurant never received the order - even though the Postmates app showed that my order went through. Postmates customer service offered to refund my order… as if they were doing me a favor. Two and a half hours and a frustrating phone call later, I was offered a $10 credit and was left scrambling to whip up a dinner. Postmates blamed the situation on the merchant, even though it was 100% their fault. Always a problem with Postmates, never a solution.

Missing Coffee Refusing Refund
Since moving to FL last month, my experience with Postmates has been terrible. My first mishap was when I was delivered food that smelled like the driver was chain smoking cigarettes in the car. Postmates refunded me. Since then, I continue to have issues and now postmates is refusing to take responsibility because I've requested too many refunds which is nonsense (and maybe they should address this with their employees that keep messing up). My recent experience, I ordered from Wawa and received everything but my $5.00 coffee. When I notified Postmates, they refused to give me a refund because I've received a recent refund in the past (which was valid). I contacted the manager at Wawa, Ashley, and she confirmed my coffee was left there by the driver. I let Postmates know that this again is not my fault and the manager confirmed it was never picked up and THEY STILL REFUSED TO GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK! I'm at a loss for words. How are they allowed to keep my money if I was not given the item I paid for. I will continue to escalate this until I find a resolve. I will also never use Uber/Postmates again. I'd rather walk then use a service that can just get away with messing up and stealing peoples money.

This app never lets down. Even when you're desperate and sick and can't leave your house, do not go to Postmates. They're ALWAYS, late, incorrect. The driver has been sniffing, taste testing your food. They're the WORST
credit card was charged even if i did not get ,y food
On Sept 3, I ordered food from Made in Havana Restaurant here in 8116 Beverly Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90048. Food consisted of 3 items worth $26.83. App informed me I would not be charged since vendor canceled last minute. However, on Sept 6, there was a charge for $26.83 for this same canceled order. I only noted of the charge a few days ago when I was reviewing Postmates charges and refunds I have not received.
I immediately contacted Postmates via there online app. I explained the situation and even sent screenshots. Their reply was basically they could not do anything because 48 hours has passed by. I told them I was not looking to reorder or get other inconvenience compensation but just want a rightful refund of a fraudulent charge that I just noticed recently because I trusted them when they said they said no charge will be on my credit card for this vendor's cancelation.
Also, how could I replied within 48 hours when the charge just crept up 72 hours later. Either way, per their unreasonable policy I still could not get proper restitution.
I've talked to several people on their app - Verun, Eena, Deepanshu and all of them just gave me the canned reply saying I let 48 hours pass by, without even looking at my documentations and facts stated.
Postmates has been very difficult to deal with after Uber bought it. Their agents do not reply as fast and they give you the run around. Stellar companies like Amazon would review the case and refund you even after it's been months because that's the right thing to do when they just grab your hard earned money! I wonder how many people are being scammed this way especially those who do not check their charges nor have the stamina to dispute and get head to head with a corporate bully.

We ordered food on 28 October 2021 and the stupid driver put our food down took a picture of it and then picked it back up and took off with it. We do have it on camera. I know you all don't care but because of this one [censored] we will never be using Postmates again. As you can see in the video he dropped the food waited for a few seconds and then picked it back.

Driver parked blocking my driveway and in a red curb. I told the driver that that could not park in a red curb and block a private property driveway and the driver threatened me to harm me. I called 911 and made a complaint with the driver's license plate number. The license plate number is a California license plate: 8TYC994. I also verified with my neighbor that they delivered their food and I've attached my neighbor's food receipt along with the car license plate number of the driver. This driver needs to be fired ASAP!

I have been trying for hours to reach someone to resolve an issue, specifically get a refund. There's no way on the app, everything I select goes back to FAQ, of which there's no solution.

I ordered the food and with a $12 coupon the first total was under $20 -- but it was never delivered to me. I was presented a receipt showing delivery to address not mine! (see below)...when I asked for replacement with my coupon and
replacement was entered twice for food at $30 -- no coupon was honored
I received food an hour and a half after my original order and when I asked for adjustments -- they refuse to adjust because I have a history of complaints ! -- Because they continue to arbitrarily deliver to the wrong address. At first I thought it might be the UBER-Postmates merger transition glitch but now I believe it is intentional --overcharging, mis-delivery -- are fraudulent business practices

The post mates driver came to deliver something to a resident in the apartment complex I work in. She wasn't wearing a mask and attempted to go into the elevator. We told her only we can hit the elevator button, it won't work without our key card, and she has to wear a mask first. We have gave her one and she slammed the order down on the table and stormed out of the lobby, cursing us out on her way. Order #afe7800F
Upcharging menu items under the guise of fees
Postmates upcharged the items I ordered by $4.50 each compared to their normal menu price. I purchased two acai bowls which sell for $11.50 each and Postmates charged $16.00 each and then tried saying that's part of their fees when I contacted them to dispute it. Then they refused to reimburse me because it was menu items and not something they can reimburse for. Be careful, they're stealing money by upcharging menu items in addition to their regular fees.
